Pros: "The crew was friendly, and the entertainment choices were pretty good."
Cons: "By the time the food service cart reached us in row 28 of about 33 or so, my choices for food and drink were both sold out. It would have been less of a big deal if our earlier flight hadn't been so late that we couldn't grab something to eat before boarding."

Cons: "Prior to boarding, a gate attendant talked to the passengers in a VERY condescending way with regard to their carry on luggage. The original plane had mechanical problems, identified after half the passengers had already boarded. It was stressful enough without this person raising her voice and talking to us as though we were children."

Pros: "Standard AA domestic flight. Once we were boarded and underway, things were fine. Crew was friendly, the aircraft was cleaned on the turn from the prior flight, and we didn't sit on the tarmac too long when arriving at DFW. Normal operations for AA domestic."
Cons: "Unfortunately, normal operations for AA domestic means boarding 20-30 minutes late, which delayed the arrival a bit. In general, AA could provide more accurate updates and boarding information for their flights. For example, if the inbound aircraft arrives at the time my flight should be boarding, I want to see an updated departure time, rather than maintaining the "on time" status right up until five minutes before the new boarding time. Generally it takes 25-30 minutes to turn the plane for the next outbound flight."

Man in seat next to me did not get served a drink at all. Did not offer headphones. No wifi for 3/4 of trip."

Cons: "I purchased my ticket in March with seating assigned to me and then when I travel from Chicago to San Jose my seating was changed and I had to sit back in the 22nd row now I walk with a cane and so this is very was very painful for me, my itinerary said that my seating was row seven for the whole trip but when I got ready to fly home from Chicago to San Jose to- day ,so I was very uncomfortable. I did not know my seating had been changed."

Crew at the gate and on the plane were wonderful. Personnel at the airport were also wonderful aside from the fact that I couldn't seem to get on the official standby list until my mother-in-law got me on by talking to personnel at a completely different airport."

Lines and phone hold times for rebooking took an hour each time I stood in line, which was four times.Thankfully, I was on standby for this same-day flight and was able to arrive at my destination 12 hours later than planned instead of 36 hours later than planned."

Was given a 2 food vouchers but very late, 30 mins before boarding time. Paid for two meals already by then. My Friday to Monday trip to see my family was shortened by almost a day. I hadn’t seen them for 3 years. Don't know when I'll be able to see them next. Not happy..."

I was told to keep my bag at the ticket desk in Dayton....scolded for doing so at the gate....then again scolded for same thing at gate for Denver to Phoenix. At least I kept track of my bag through it all."

I did not like the fact that, I didn't know were to go because it was too crowded. every time I ask them to help me, they ether not answers or did not know what to tell me. Every one seen to be very confused. They have very bad costumers service. I even cut myself wile trying to put the bag into the square that they now have, to see if it can go into the airplane. I was very surprised that they didn't even excuse themselves for the inconvenient... this was a horrible experience... don't think I'll ever take this airline again. They have no organization."

Just stick with peanuts."

Then before we were booking they announced the flight was overbooked by 4 people. That added another time 10 minutes. Then when we’re on the plane it took another 20 minutes for paperwork that wasn’t done correctly. So with no weather issues my scheduled flight at 8 am didn’t take off until 10:55 am."

The overhead bins on an airbus flown by Spirit are the same size as the overhead bins on an Airbus flown by Delta or any other carrier, so why doesn't Spirit allow you to use the same size carry-on as all the other carriers? Having no water on the plane unless you purchase it is deplorable at best. The website does it best to ensure that you over pay for items that you don't want and makes it extremely difficult to pay for items that you are required to pay for. Won't fly this airline again, OR recommend it."

Cons: "They lied about volcanic ash to delay their flight because their crew was not ready to fly (they didn't have enough down time) meanwhile EVERY OTHER FLIGHT FLEW OUT. They would not give us a new flight. They would not give us food vouchers. No car rentals. No housing. We were stranded in a foreign country for 12 extra hours with NOTHING. On top of that they were rude, unhelpful, and after the 12 hour delay, DELAYED THE FLIGHT AGAIN. They would not help with anything. They simply blamed the "ash" that apparently didn't affect any other airline but Spirit. Never ever using them again."

Cons: "I was told I was too late and missed my flight only to find an email from spirit the day after saying my flight was delayed an hour and 15 mins. I could have made it but the lady that "helped" me told me there was nothing I could do. She basically turned me away, along with the 15 or so people who had the same issue ahead of me in line, and advised me to find my own way home on a different airline. I ended up paying $345 to make it back to San Diego and received no help from spirit. Best part: I paid for insurance on my ticket just in case something like this happened. I've never been so dissatisfied with an airline and will NEVER fly spirit again!!"
