The crew was late in getting food out but for a four hour flight there is no value in flying anymore. Airlines are just trying to rake in as much money as possible. When are they going to be responsible for everyone getting sick like cruise ships are? They should hand out masks and sanitizer because airlines are one of the dirtiest public spaces that there is! Show up late and barely clean the plane between its third or fourth leg of the day."

Frankly I was surprised they didn't charge for water! Seats didn't recline at all & were like sitting on a metal folding chair for 5 hours. Food tray was about 3 inches wide, could barely put a plastic cup on it let alone a laptop or anything like that. Deceptive pricing combined with crappy accommodations - a combination I will avoid next time."

Never was another flight to,Cleveland bumped so we could return home. And the stories of horror other passengers had last night...all about Frontier, one man previously had totally missed a cruise! This is not how to maintain nor run an airlines. Cons: "There was a "maintenance issue" with the plane. That can happen. But the way the airline handled it was the problem. Every couple of hours they would push back the departure time. After being delayed 6 hours they told us, "The plane IS REPAIRED, but the crew has timed out." So the departure time had to be pushed back another 3 hours. 15 minutes before that time elapsed they announced that, while they now had a crew, the plane wasn't actually fixed and they were going to bring in another plane in another 2 hours. Before boarding, they announced they needed to move some passengers to different seats, "because there were less passengers than originally scheduled" to balance the weight. This turned out to be a lie because it was a different plane model. I was moved from an upgraded seat to an unsatisfactory one with less leg room. When the plane finally did come in we sat on the tarmac for 60 minutes before taking off. They announced complimentary drinks AND snacks for the delay. And, while I don't get excited one way or another over a bag of peanuts, when the air-waitress came around and tried to charge me for the snacks and claimed that it had never been promised, it was really annoying. Delays happen. Please don't lie about what's going on."

Cons: "1. carry on baggage - I had one that was in a large soft carrier bag that i carried like a handbag over my right shoulder-- the pleasant male counter officer did not say anything but a younger female personnel said it costs US$45 for a carry on bag, fuss was made by her about how the soft bag height was "slightly higher" than the carryon baggage steel rectangular measurement guide nearby. I removed a couple of important items to put into my check-in luggage, paid US$40 for it. Then I was given the OK. After that, I observed several people with hardcover luggages, carry-ons and backpacks (i.e. 1 carry-on that was definitely a lot larger than mine (with wheels and all) and bulky backpacks) ... By the way, the soft bag fit OK under the seat in front of me as it was a "soft" bag and I had leg room too. This made me feel it is a racial discrimination since I am a foreigner Chinese. It marred my otherwise 1 month enjoyable trip to various parts of USA."

The flight was delayed over 7 hours and they gave us a $10 meal voucher that was not accepted by any of the vendors in the airport. On our return flight, more delays. We were not able to check in online because we had a CREDIT balance so we had to wait in the ticket line to check in. NO plans to use the $100 voucher they gave us that has to be used in 90 days."

In the absence of pre-check (because Spirit airlines does not have that facility) we were in the security check line for a long time. Our grand- daughter was upset and crying. The problem with an airline is not about the price it's about dealing with customers who are STRANDED during the holidays. I had an international flight on the 31st to get back abroad where I study. It was upsetting the lack of service to get my flight rescheduled, it was highly unprofessional how they didn't have a rational solution to get back on the 29th of december. I wish this site, would take over and help us rebook our flight. The problem with our service from Spirit was they would reimburse both flights, but then I would have to go to an airport would be taking a risk to not get a flight when driving 1-5 hours to airports around throwing away valuable time. They said they would give a $50 voucher for a reduction in another flight, but this is NOT at all enough to compensate for the stress I (and my family) were put through. This is the worst experience with an airline I have ever had used. I would not EVER recommend this to anyone flying."
Cons: "Being stuck on the plane for an hour and a half waiting for an open gate. I can't afford to have unreliable service."

Cons: "CS Agents will out right lie to you to prevent you from changing planes or canceling flights. After flying with this airline multiple times I have also learned that no flight travels on time and you will receive zero reimbursement for travel inconvenience. Read all fine print before flying as you will literally be charged for everything. Including carry on bags and snacks. If you have a short flight this is fine. Cross country, good luck. Seats do not recline. Flight is cramped unless you score an exit row."
Cons: "Just really unorganized. I don't complain much but honestly I would rather spend a couple $100 more to fly a different airline. They get you from point a to point b just expect a lot of delays. Don't fly this airline if you want to be on time for anything. Seats are really uncomfortable."
Cons: "if the plane had not been an hour late, this Spirit flight would have rated "OKAY". first time with them, and they lived up to their "a la carte" rep. i am sure i am not the first person to joke about this, but i was shocked that i didn't have to slip a fiver into a slot in order to use the toilet. with all the add-ons, there is absolutely no benefit price-wise to flying with them. if you are carrying one small item, traveling alone, not in a hurry, i bet you'd love 'em. but any normal adult would feel cramped/gouged/abused. what a weird business model - folksy/hip/sarcastic ad copy that jokes about the lousy treatment you can expect to receive. such is the new economy."
Pros: "My first time flying a low cost carrier, I was impressed. I hope Spirit realize those planes won't stay new forever and need to maintain the interiors to keep that new look. The staff in general were courteous and competent I would fly them again."
Pros: "Very very nice aircraft !! Brand new airbus a320 very clean and quiet. The seat i purchsed was as expected(Big fromt seat). Pleny of leg room and space between the other passenger. Crew was not so friendly. Pilots did a great job very smoth ride and nice take off and landing."
Cons: "The price for this airline ticket ended up being much more than expected. Pay for carry on and seats etc. had a real hard time printing my borarding pass beacuse you cant print it from your phone or get an e-ticket. It has to b done on a land based computer. All of which i was never told during orignal purchase."
Pros: "The only thing I liked was the non stop routing. Opposition is mostly with a change. But the seats are terrible (I am tall) and the over head binds are very dangerous. (I am tall and have a scar to support the poor, old fashioned overhead bins."
Cons: "The attendants seem to have a competion going for "who can butcher the announcements by speaking rapidly and harshly. It added to the sophomoric attitude thought."
Pros: "The flight crew was very polite and helpful. The flight itself was on-time and smooth. My one complaint would be how jammed in you feel in the seats that do not recline. Very uncomfortable!"
Pros: "The crew was great and had a sense of humor. The seats don't recline and every drink or available food you have to purchase."
Cons: "The seats aren't good and you have to purchase your seat for additional fee. The drinks and food was an additional fee and carry on luggage is additional fee. So on top of my ( I thought) was an inexpensive ticket was additional charges of $210.00 for my husband and myself luggage. Then....they lost my luggage and I had to wait over 24 hours to receive it. I received it and my luggage tag was ripped off the luggage and the zipper was broken on a bag that was less than six months old! Very disappointed. I will NOT fly this airline ever again. Everyone that I have talked to since said the same thing. I'll stick to United and Southwest for all my future trips!"

Cons: "The airline employee to passenger relationship = rude, ground crew. I think the lower level employees need to go and people who actually want a good job and that would represent this airline positively should be sought after. The seats are really small, I am a small person and I had a difficult time on this flight, very uncomfortable and way too small of an area. No Complimentary drinks was new to me, that is not negative just different."

Cons: "I didn't like that you had to pay for your seats, carry-on, checking in, and food. Basically, you had to pay for every single thing. At one point I was afraid to even breathe because I thought I would've had to pay for that too."

Pros: "1hr 20 from CLE to the ATL. Out on time. Arrived early. Crew was accommodating. Zero complaints here. Well done Spirit!"
Pros: "Straight through flight. No frills but clean and on time. I'm not a first class flyer so I did not expect much."
Cons: "Check In agents both in Cleveland and Las Vegas were not very pleasant, To me it was as if I was bothering them to check my luggage, not rude, just no real customer friendly. FYI I was flying under orders for deployment and they charge military for overweight bag. Not a big deal but $50, that's a lot."
