They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

So check the fees before you decide the ticket is cheap and add to the cost all that you might need, seat included unless you want the middle one in back next to toilets. Seat selection in my case added 10% to the cost of ticket. Brought my own food and glad of it since the cheapest thing was $2 drink and $3 bag of chips."

So, rather than risk paying even more at the gate if my small bag constituted a carry-on, I just paid the extra money for a carry-on. As my father and his childhood friends used to say in their neighborhood games with special rules: Learn as you lose."

When you finally do get on the plane after an hour delay and get your seat, you'll experience the most uncomfortable flight of your life in what can only be described as the equivalent of a folding plastic chair with fake leather glued to it. It doesn't recline, it has practically no padding, it has no head or neck support, the armrest is about 6" long and 1" wide to share with the overweight woman next to you, and the tray table is the size of an iPad mini. Whatever, brush it off and try to relax when they come by with your drink and pretzels, right? Wrong. Because the new Frontier Airlines has decided that they waste too much money on a cup of soda that must cost them a whopping 5 cents at the bulk rate they buy it in. You want that can of soda? $2 it is then. Bag of pretzels? $4 because f**k you, where the f**k else are you going to buy a snack at 34,000 feet in the air. To be perfectly fair, we arrived safe and sound, albeit late, and the people were friendly. That said, the measures Frontier has taken to inconvenience the customer just to make their ticket slightly cheaper is not worth it. I will not be returning. It's worth paying whatever the next best airline charges to avoid Frontier."

There was a open row and my friend and I traveling together just asked to sit there together since no one was in the isle at all.. Cons: "I had a terrible experience from Denver to Detroit today. Our flight to denver was delayed and thats understandable because of weather, but the flight to detroit was extremely uncomfortable. I sat in the window seat and could barely move to get my laptop out and once I got it out to do some work I couldn't even see my screen or have a place to set it. I ride coach on a monthly basis and I have never had this issue. Not only was i suffocating because of lack of space, but the temperature was outrageously hot. The second I got off that plane I seriously thought of never booking with Frontier again."

As a result, I arrived at McCarren Airport to check my bag at 10:55 p.m. for an 11:30 p.m. flight. I was told I was to late and would have to take the next flight to Detroit, which wasn't until 8:15 a.m. I pleaded and offered to take my luggage to the plane and carry it to the baggage workers, but it was to no avail. I was booked for the 8:15 a.m. flight to Detroit. I was very disappointed to be informed that it would cost me $99.00 to make the change."

Cons: "My suitcase that cost $80 got broken and I am very upset and would like something done about it. It was the one that was put under the plane. The zipper is now broken and it's all tore up and I am not happy and will no longer fly with spirit unless anything is done to resolve this matter."
Pros: "The crew got us home earlier"
Cons: "We got earlier to the gate but no gate to pull the plane in. Then the wait for luggage was terrible. At 12:30am at night to wait 40 min with children is terrible."
Cons: "We boarded and then we were asked to unboard with our carryons. We asked when or if we could reboard. They had no answers. We waited until 2:30am and were reboarded. (3 hour wait) Most ticket holders left out of frustration. Biggest problem was that they wouldn't tell us were our checked luggage was."
Cons: "I understand if the flight is cancelled due to weather conditions, but we were able to get on another flight at the exact same time to the exact same destination, just through another airline. In addition, prior to my cancelled flight I barely received any emails letting me know of the status change and received NO phone text message. Spirit should text every person if a flight is cancelled. Lastly, it has now been 6 full days and no one has reached out about my refund. I requested it at the airport but have not received anything in the mail or via phone call. Disappointing customer service and horrible management."
Cons: "the customer service call center is way ineffective, you need to hold over 30 min to get someone on the phone, total disregard to customer flights needs specially when you connect to an international flight, flight cancelation is a nightmare, call center does not answer, the staff is impolite and make the customer feel like dirt"
Pros: "The cost"
Cons: "Charge for certain seats, charge for bags, charge for a soda even on a 4 1/2 hr flight, no perks no reclining seats. Only good for short weekend trips. If you need to pack a bag that cant fit under a seat you would be silly not to fly a dif carrier because cost adds up and the perks still stay at zero."

Cons: "This flight was nice, but the way Spirit did me for my not flight down will make me never to fly Spirit again. Very disappointed with this Airlines and the way I was treated."
Cons: "My bag was 2 inches over the limit and I had to pay 100 dollars. Since they have different standards then every other airline, the should advertise better their carry on requirements. It felt like they were price gouging us. I will never fly spirit again because I felt decieved"

Cons: "HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: ALL of the personnel we dealt with (from check-in, to security, to gate, to the crew) were rude and even aggressive. I've never felt such a lack of respect for customers from any airline, ever."

Cons: "Checking in, boarding, and above all paying $50 for a 1 way carry-on bag. So, I learned at boarding that I paid it for just one wsy, the return flight actually. The Spirit Airline website is aweful!"

Cons: "a person behind me had a small pet dog in a carry-on container and was leaning it up against the back of my chair and I could really feel the hard surface pushing on my back so I know the padding is not the greatest..."
Pros: "The crew was efficient. The plane was on time and had a fast return flight."
Cons: "The They did not try to help us get more room as there were many unfilled seats. On the way to FL we had a practically empty airplane and were encouraged to move if we wanted. We had wonderful seats up front. There was no entertainment and we did not eat the food. Also spent two hours going in circles on Spirit website trying to list my luggage. I didn't have two hours to spare. I was extremely frustrated."
