TWA was rude and discourteous. Then she helped herself after getting on the plane in seattle. She had heart surgery 2 weeks prior to this flight and I asked for assistance to make her feel secure and safe. Instead she felt harassed, extremely anxious and determined not to travel by air again. Thanks to this treatment I do not know when I will get to see my mother again. I suggest you inform your people that just because someone looks calm and healthy that does not mean they are either. Cons: "The only thing I didn't like, was actually making it on to the flight. When I got to NYC, I was able to quickly pick up my bags and get through customs, and over to the next terminal (5) where Jet Blue is located. However, the check in terminals were NOT working and I had to stand in a huge line to recheck my bag and get my boarding pass. I would definitely missed my flight, but I managed (by calling out) to one of the Jet Blue ticket agents at the counter...she actually came to me, I told her my situations, and she let me come to the front of the line. I got my boarding pass, RAN to the gate, and just made my flight in the nick of time. Stressful! But, I was so glad for that kind Jet Blue woman who helped me out. I had been traveling nearly 24 hours and couldn't bear the thought of sitting in JFK for at least another 8 hours before the next available flight."

I worried the whole time I was not going to make it since it said doors close at 2:04 and we landed at 1:55 or something close to that. When I got off the plane the gate agent told me AerLingus does theirs differently - that meant that is when they started boarding. It would have relieved a lot of stress if they had explained that. Also, our luggage didn't make it on the flight. Said it was stuck in customs since it did not have enough time. Understandable, but why didn't someone from JetBlue come out and get us instead of making us wait at the luggage terminal for 30 minutes before we went and checked. Also, they told me on the phone that my luggage would arrive at 7 and it came at 4 - luckily I was home. What would have happened if I was not?"

Cons: "I never received anything about my booking. I went the airport Wednesday morning not knowing if I’d actually fly out. I only had on my Kayak app a trip itinerary. Thankfully I did. In Atlanta I added my Skymiles # to my trip. Upon arrival in Mexico I rec’d a push from Delta about my trip with my Record Locator. Flying home was to depart at 8am. When I rec’d my boarding pass it stated 8:55am. While waiting at my gate Delta sent me a text at 7:30am that my flight would be leaving at 8am. That confused me. Needless to say I was suppose to arrive CVG at 3:49pm, but instead was booked on a flight departing Atlanta at 4:30pm. Plans at home had to changed for Friday evening as I was not arriving at mid-afternoon. Needless to say I’ll probably not book thru Kayak anymore."

Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

This means you get the general check we are all used to, but at the gate there's a second patdown and x-ray where liquids purchased inside the terminal are discarded or you have to exit the gate area to drink it! People had to give up their sealed, duty free bags and we had to give up our cans of soda we had just purchased. Fuller disclosure- in Spanish and English- should be given to patrons at stores and BEFORE entering the gate to avoid displeasure. We know drug traffickers are slick, but innocent people don't appreciate the inconvenience. My son's blunt tip, plastic, safety scissors were also taken at this airport because of the thin "blade" affixed to the plastic, but it left the USA in his school pencil case without any issues on our way there."

When I got to Copa check in they told me I didn’t have an assigned seat (and I got there very early) and that she couldn’t help me get a seat assignment until I got to the gate. Then at the gate very poor customer service and she gave me a middle seat without even really looking at the flight. On thr flight food was mediocre. Not good aircirculation on the flight, ac was not good. And I was also on the last group to board, boarding process was a disaster. Will not use Kayak again."

Cons: "There was a second security check right at the gate, which we were not warned about at all. I had bought a bottle of liquor in Colombia and they would not let me get on the plane to NYC with it. Luckily I had a large shopping bag that I got from the gift shop in Colombia, so I was able to dump everything that was in my nylon tote into that shopping bag and they haphazardly wrapped my bottle in one of my sweaters and checked my tote. The employees said this was a new policy in Panama City, but many other travelers were confused. Passengers should be warned!"

Then they did not want to put me on the next flight because they said it was full, but it was not. Copa representatives at sfo treated me very badly, even though I was very polite. I told them if they didnt put me on the next flight, I would miss my cruise in panama and they were still not helpful. They told me they couldn't do anything to change my flight because I booked through kayak. They ended up putting me on the next flight and I still barely arrived at my destination on time and I had to spend 150$ extra because my transport in panama had already left me. I had to walk all o er ago to see if there were any flights to panam from other airline because they didn't want to admit their mistake and put me on the next flight. I had a horrible experiences with copa on my way to panama and on my way back. Their people were unfriendly, rude and not helpful at all. They give no greetings, they lie about planes being full and my suitcases arrived cracked. Worst and most stressful flying experience I ever had!! I am still infuriated and would like some kind of reparation or action taken because I had to stay 4 extra hours at the airport, spend extra money and they gave me the most stressful experience ever while flying. Cons: "This is the letter I wrote to the airline My sister in law and I rode your airline for the first time on July 2, 2016 to fly to Bogota from the United States. We first couldn't download our boarding passes on our phones so we were forced to wait for 1.5 hrs in line. (45 min of that which had no one behind the desk working and hundreds of people just standing in lines.) Finally after we checked in we went to the gate and we saw on our tickets that she and I were not sitting together even though I booked the flights for us together and chose our seats to be right next to each other months in advance. I went to the guy at the counter and he said that "it's a full flight, nothing they could do and you will just have to write a letter." My sister is diabetic and needs insulin medicine and to check her blood sugar and since we were unable to sit next to each other we were forced to go do this in the bathroom. Not only that, but to be on a 7 hr flight not sitting with each other when we were supposed to be is very unprofessional. The whole ordeal didn't bode well for your future repeat business of your passengers. Just very unhappy all around regarding using Copa Airlines."

"The crew all the way from Medicine Hat to Thunder Bay were wonderful! I think Selva was the name of the stewardess on my flight from Medicine Hat to Calgary and she was delightful! It was pretty early in the morning and she was the right amount of pep without being overbearing. She was very organized and professional as well thank you! My flight from Calgary to Toronto was fantastic! I've been on large planes before and the boarding process was very well done by the crew. I was bumped to a window seat (such a blessing) and the selection of entertainment was great. The plane was very clean and modern. Vic the stewardess really stood out and was very kind and professional thank you Vic! I don't remember the names of the ladies on my flight from Toronto to Thunder Bay but they were fantastic as well! Its always a rough time flying into Thunder Bay that late but they made the journey as comfortable as possible, thank you both! All in all thanks Westjet team you did a great job and I look forward to flying with you again!"

The customs area red jacketed help personnel told us that it was just as fast to go throught the general customs are instead of using our Nexus cards and this turned out to take forever. So very disappointing."

At delta in Toronto we were advised that there were no available seats on the flight we were supposed to be booked on . Delta booked us to Detroit then on to Atlanta . Trip delay was over 9 hours and lots of stress and run around . Very disappointed with west jet . We have always used west jet and this was the first time we felt we were given very poor service .causing a very long and stressful day , arriving at our destination 9 hours later than planned , resulting in a 24 hour exhausting travel day."

Entertainment system was difficult to navigate...the buttons didn't work half the time, the movies were already playing and all the "bad" words were edited out which changed the entire movie. Waste of time. Would not fly WestJet again based on this experience. And what's the point of checking in online when you're called to verify id again at the check in counter."

It’s more than enough space on board the plane. In a way in which the gate check individuals handle this interaction is a palling you’re insulting demanding and don’t give you a chance to rearrange your luggage so I can go into their absurd dimensions"

Cons: "No snacks or drinks provided on any of my flights on American this weekend. 2 of them were real short so that makes sense but other 2 were long enough to have this but stopped before my row. We were Delayed, which is understandable, but not sure why we couldn't board and wait for crew to come on to speed up process rather than waiting for crew to arrive to even begin boarding process. I assume it's a safety thing but seems like there could be a better way to handle this and speed up process to make sure people aren't missing connecting flights."

Cons: "Everything! Crew were terse, rude and inattentive. Due to an issue with a bag on board without the associated passenger we had to taxi back to the stand for it to be removed before we could take off. This cost us an hours delay. There was limited apologies for this, no refreshments provided during the wait and poor communication of this. During the flight the staff were inattentive and sparing with refreshments. Service generally did not live up to expected level associated with an inter-continents flight. The flight was turbulent but crew and captain seemed over cautious with it and crew had to remain seated unnecessarily at times and at the detriment of passenger service. One stewardess wouldn’t even let me finish a drink before removing it from my hand claiming we were about to land and she had to sit down because of turbulence. We were still 40 mins from landing at this point! All in all a pretty bad flight, and it’s safe to say I won’t be flying American Airlines again."

His phone rang several times while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures right in front of us. This was after the announcement came that all electronic devices where to go into airplane mode. The flight attendant did not do anything and seemed to ignore the phone that kept ringing. The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly."

Crew response: We're not any worse than the other airlines - my response: WRONG! NO WIFI NO entertainment NO CHARGING AREA magazines were missing pages in both seats- requested new one never received"

Cons: "The preboarding process by American Airlines was really bad. My passport was looked at 6 times before I boarded. This is after going though passport control by Spain officials at the airport. AA has people waving you down the aisle looking at your passport and sending you to then Verify my boarding pass and that I had documents ok to travel, they told me I did and still sent me over to a security person who asked more questions than the immigration officials in the US, he then sent me to the counter to get my passport scanned ( not sure what that meant), after waiting 10 minutes of waiting the counter clerk asked me what I needed and I told her I was sent there, it was evident there was no reason for me to be there and she printed my boarding pass, which I didn’t need since I had a mobile pass. Then when boarding the aee two people asking a bunch of questions about people having control of their items and looking at your documents which the person who scans to board does again...really very inefficient and slow, it sure it is really helping with safety. Could be done smoother, faster and a lot less people."

Pros: "I decided to travel First Class from Houston TX and that was the greatest choice I ever made. IAH requires travelers to arrive 2-3 hrs early due to traffic or weather conditions. I checked in at 2 pm and waited for my 5 pm boarding call. First class was amazing! I stored my belongings without any issues. I sipped wine and dined on pasta and watched the movie Father Figures with Owen Wilson and Ed Helms. The stewardess was polite and friendly. The food was enjoyable and the passengers were friendly. The bathroom as also immaculate, I was impressed."

In addition, American Airlines continued delaying their flight departure times like it was no big deal.. It was stressful for many passengers. This other woman and I had a second plane to get onto, and were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get to the next plane ride because the first plane ride was pushed back like around 10 times or so. This is my first experience with American Airlines, and absolutely do not have a good impression whatsoever. I do not support this airline because it is clear that they do not value their customer’s satisfaction, wellbeing, or schedules."

Cons: "Was at gate onntime for flight. At boarding time passengers were informed if there was an issue with the plane and maintenance is on their way to check out the problem. 30 minutes later we were still till that maintenance is on their way. One hour later there is still no information as far as when the fight will leave but they kept updating the boarding time. There was only one person of the counter who could help re-assign passengers to different flights due to their layovers. After waiting in line for 40 minutes and the line making no movement I called the airline 1-800 hundred number and explain my situation to the American Airlines Airlines representative. they really give me a new flight that left 20 minutes later after my call if I did not call I would not mean it that flight nor any other fights that morning because they're all in the afternoon."

Cons: "I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money."

Pros: "Everything. I bought some souvenir magnets from the shop across from Starbucks near Gate C5(?). The gentleman working the register was very pleasant and was a welcome personality so early in the day. As a service member, I would like to thank him for his service. He was consistent in asking patrons whether they’d like to purchase a travel kit for the troops. A few patrons were abrupt and responded rudely but he maintained a level head and pressed on. Great attitude and professionalism. Thank you very much for your support! Also, I was able to get my Military discount applied towards my purchase which enabled me to purchase 1 travel kits for my fellow service members. A little goes a long way and when returning from deployments or coming home for R&R, it tends to be hectic and I, myself have often forgotten toiletries which I was able to get from the USO. The USO staff were also friendly and did an amazing job handling all of the personnel that funneled in, exhausted. Great attitudes and clean facilities. I would love to see an expansion to this USO location. They were full up this day, thank you for having this available to us! TSgt Angela Santiago Otero, USAF"

Cons: "We were forced to check our Uppababy Vista stroller at EWR departures that we hoped to check at the gate. Needless to say this made it difficult to get our toddler through security. At baggage claim only half our stroller was there - they had disconnected the seat from the wheels. Luckily we spotted what looked like a similar frame to ours at the gate when we landed. It then took another forty minutes for the baggage claim office person to go through security, to the arrival gate and back to baggage claim."

Cons: "Left 25 minutes late. when I asked the flight attendant to let me move further to the front so I can leave the plane quick and not miss my connection I was told that there were no other seats. I looked and YES there was at least 5 other seats in rows much closer than mine! Also upon arrival we did not get off the plane for 15 minutes . My connection was boarding already. I had to go from gate E 6 to gate B14 in a flash at the age of 66 I barely made it out of breath and they were about to close the doors! I was not a happy camper when I was told in the flight 5406 that I had plenty of time!!! not to worry!!!"

Cons: "Got a notification of a TWO HOUR DELAY departing SFO. Rebooked into Charlotte instead of Dallas to connect to Fort Myers. THAT flight got delayed AFTER the doors were closed by another 45 minutes which caused me to miss my connection to Fort Myers AND have American Airlines leave my bag in Charlotte. I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"

Pros: "The cabin crew were friendly and apologetic for the chronic problems with the entertainment system. The pilot gave us a smooth flight and landing, and was very conscientious about turbulence prevention and safety."
Cons: "The inflight entertainment system was spotty. Some customers had monitors that worked, some did not. A woman with a two-year old had one of the malfunctioning monitors and was forced to entertain her child for nine hours without tv, movies or music. Similarly, on our flight over to London 10 days earlier, my husband and I were 2 of more than 30 passengers whose monitors never worked and we were forced to fly for 7 hours in the dark on an overnight flight staring at the backs of seats. It was miserable. The cabin crew told passengers they had begged the airline for years to replace the system but the airline refuses. Will not fly American Airlines transatlantic again."

Cons: "I found out at the airport the day we were leaving for Spain that my daughter's passport had to be valid for 3 Months after we returned home from our trip. When booking a flight out of the country it would be nice if Air .com could of mention that to me. We were trying to get to a cruise we had already paid for that was going out of Spain. They would not work with me at all and cx my whole booking. When I tried to talk to them on the phone the man could not speak very good English and was not making any since at all. I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out."

Pros: "Great flight, Fantastic landing in Charlotte. l was pleased with everything on flight home."
Cons: "My 11am flight had engine problems, so at 1pm they asked if anyone wanted to leave and take the 2pm flight to Charlotte. About 30 people said yes, as I did too. After running across Heathrow to make flight, we got on plane and Waited....seems after running a Mile across the airport, they Decided to HOLD the Flight and have everyone from 11am flight take the 2pm flight to Charlotte. All the baggage had to be taken from 11am flight and brought to 2pm flight. Delay for take off was almost 2 HOURS!!! Instead of arriving in Charlotte at 3pm, we were Leaving at that time!!! Didn't get to Charlotte until almost 9pm. NO ONE on Flight from 11am was Happy about this."

Cons: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

Pros: "Never again. I had a connecting flight with a one hour layover and almost missed it. The plane to charlotte was very late boarding. Once i land I rush to my gate because I only have 20 minutes before they start boarding ; I get to the gate and have to wait almost an hour. At this point I still havent eaten because I am waiting around by the gate and the attendants are not communicating any information. Then they finally tell us that the reason the fligt hasnt boarded was because the flight attendant misplaced her luggage in the previous flight and was waiting to arrive to the terminal. Now how is that my issue? American Airlines needs to do better!"

Pros: "The trip from st martin was fine in terms of check in. AA opened their windows early so we beat the crowd."
Cons: "The plane left 20 minutes late, and then we hit turbulence and a bit of rain close to our arrival in Charlotte. I had originally booked a flight through Miami with plenty of layover time to get a connecting flight to Dallas, but AA canceled that one and put me on a connection the following day! When I called customer service, they were helpful in regards booking and assured me there would be plenty of time to connect through Charlotte. When our plane landed 35 minutes late, there was only 15 minutes to connect, and we waited for baggage that whole time. No idea what took baggage so long, but the result is that we missed our flight. AA did put us on standby for the next one, but that meant our relative had to pick us up at midnight."

I noticed that you had snacks for purchase on the flight, but the free snacks were cookies and pretzels. It would be nice to offer a trail mix or dried fruit. Pretzels are good for people who might be a little sick at their stomach, but better snacks are a nice option. I ordered coffee and it was perfect. Overall, the flight was a good flight, just a little tweaking and it would be great. Thanks for asking."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "It cost me $86 dollars to supposedly upgrade my seat to an exit row with tons of leg room. Granted there was plenty of leg room but the seat was extra narrow to give room for an emergency exit if necessary. I'm not huge but I barely fit in the seat. It was an uncomfortable squeeze which of course got worse as the flight continued. I complained to an attendant that the seat was too small and he had no remedy. If I was a few pounds heavier it would have been impossible. You'd think they would warn a customer of the narrower seat. It's so obvious that it's all about profit for the airlines which sickens me."

Pros: "I landed"
Cons: "Flight was changed which left me with five minutes to get off one plane and onto another. I got to my first gate early and attempted to ask the person there about the timing. She walked away without looking at. On her way down the hall says it will be open in an hour. An hour later I go to the gate. A woman is there and finishing up with another customer. When it was my turn, she said she was closed, yet she helped the joy behind me for over an hour. I know this because I got In the generic questions line and stood there for an hour watching the woman who was "closed" help this guy. When I was FINALLY able to talk to someone, the only thing he told me was to walk fast. That was well worth the 2 hour wait. I will never fly with American again."

Cons: "Apparently my seat change did not go through because I was still stuck in the last row near the bathrooms. I must say, the fecal aroma really complemented the on set nausea that was triggered by the turbulence. Every time I thought I was gona drift off to sleep I was rudely awakened by the constant "thwacking" of the bathroom doors. The family next to me was nice enough but they did have a toddler who was very loud and unhappy and the tantrums followed. I have been a server for 14 years and generally can brush annoyances off like this but this was by far the worst flight I have been on."

Cons: "Delayed for over four hours with no explanation or terrible communication"

Pros: "The flight finally went there (it was just the wrong flight and I didn't get a flight back)"
Cons: "My original flight was cancelled so my group was bumped to an earlier flight. However, when we arrived at th airport at 6 am, it turned out that the rest of my group was on that flight but that my ticket was cancelled entirely, and I couldn't get on the new plane because it was oversold-- meaning that, without any warning, I was stranded at the airport in DC at 6 am with not only single available flight that would get me to Indiana in time for work. I ended up having to take a train to Baltimore to catch a flight from there to NC to connect to Indiana- but then that flight was delayed for 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight. By the time I finally arrived in Indiana I was 6 hours late to work. There was no reimbursement for the additional travel expenses, and not even an apology. Then flying back the next day, they cancelled our flight again and we had to rent a van and drive back overnight from Indiana (15 hours drive). I have never had such a miserable travel experience with any other airline."
