Egypt's airports are open to travel including for tourism. Some airlines are imposing special requirements, such as the wearing of face masks.
All travelers (including those who hold Egyptian nationality) arriving from overseas, to any part of Egypt must present a negative PCR test certificate issued within the preceding 72 hours prior to flight departure to Egypt. However, travelers arriving from Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France (Paris only), Germany (Frankfurt only), Guyana, Italy(Rome only) Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, South Korea, Suriname, Thailand, US, UK(London Heathrow only), Uruguay or Venezuela will be allowed to provide the test certificate issued within 96 hours prior to flight departure. Children under the age of 6, of all nationalities, are exempt from providing negative PCR test certificates. No other exemptions have been confirmed.
All travelers arriving to Egypt will have their temperature checked, must completed a public health card with personal details, and will need to provide confirmation of valid health insurance policy to airport authorities.
Tourists flying directly into the airports in the coastal governorates of the Red Sea (Hurghada and Marsa Allam), South Sinai (Sharm El-Sheikh) and Marsa Matrouh that are unable to present acceptable evidence of a negative PCR test will need to undergo testing on arrival for a fee of USD 30 and required to self-isolate in a hotel while awaiting the test result. If the result is positive, travelers are subject to a 14-day quarantine in a separate room allocated for quarantine within the hotel. If symptoms persist, they will be transferred to a public hospital or private hospital of choice, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health.

Everything was great as expected and recommended by my uncle who travels with your respected company at least twice a month till I got to Frankfort airport to take flight# 0582 from Frankfort to Cairo. I was stopped while heading to the plan by the flight manager as he called himself later, and told me that I have to only have one item on the plan, I already had one carry on and my hand bag that has my laptop and the charger, I told him that I was told by Lufthansa customer service the night before traveling to confirm the luggage weight and size that I’m allowed one carry on plus personal item like a hand bag or lap top bag and they have to meet specific dimensions. I even offered to call the customer service number for verification, he replied ‘’I don’t care, I’m the flight manager and you will do what I say’’. His words were really hurting, I showed him the tag on my carry on that I got from the previous flight it said (approved carry on) don’t remember exactly what it said, he reached to my carry on and tare that tag, I didn’t think that was appropriate even if the tag had no value he doesn’t have any right to touch my luggage without my approval, then he tried to grab my ticket from my hand saying I will get you off the flight, I got really upset and told him don’t touch my belongs. There was a moment of silence because I think I raised my voice (my apology to him and to the company for that), I realized that the conversation is not going any where so I decided to file a complaint (not because he wanted to me to only have one item but mostly because of his attitude) so I asked him for his employment ID number he walked away without saying anything, waited till he walked close enough that I can ask him again this time he refused to give me his employment ID number, asked him for his name he said it so softly, I asked him to spell because I didn’t hear it right he said it so softly he refused, then I had to look for his badge and the name on the badge I believe his first name started with P and last name started with T. I waited a few days till I got to talk to my uncle and told him what happened as he is the one who recommended Lufthansa and he has a lot of experience with your services he said that they might need to do that because the flight was complete and they want to offer luggage place for everybody, but what I surprising is there was many empty seats on the plan my seat was 032C and the 2 seats beside me (032A and 032B) were empty also there was a lot of carry-ons room everywhere. The food was poor and the service was worse- i pressed my call button for a drink mid-flight and it kept getting cancelled without a steward coming. Finally, after pressing the call button about 10 times a steward came and begrudgingly brought me a drink. Choice of movies was poor."

Late departure for no good reason, watched our plane at the gate being prepared for over an hour, we finally took off but missed our connection and therefore missed our Cruise Ship departure. We were put up in a hotel but upon landing in Rome, we opted to wait at the airport in lieu of the second hotel because of the timing as we had to catch a 6 a.m. train to get to Livorno to meet the Ship, it's first stop. Up for 36 hrs as we got little sleep, and were very tired."

The airport there is a disorganized mess which is beyond words. The most unbelievable problem was the announcement just before take off that both rear toilets were out of action,since the flight was late this was an issue and I do not believe that both toilets could be broken more likely that there was no person available to clean them."

The ground crew could have been more courteous with passengers for whom this was a great inconvenience. In my specific case, the person checking me in labelled my bad "Long Stay" instead of "Priority" because they misread the instructions on the computer. The person would not listen to me and would not re-check his potential error....I fly British Airways all the time and that did not seem to make a difference in his demeanor"

I got all I asked for including bubbly in economy! I like to stay awake on the way back to the US and asked for two coffee's and a bubbly, a ginger and an OJ just before dinner & refills on cafe. Of course I thought I was pushing it to ask for it all at once, but they laughed, proceeded to fill my wishes and with a good sense of humor asked If I wanted anything else! I prefer the aisle as I like to get up a lot and hate to annoy others who may prefer not to get up every time I do. I was lucky that the flight had plenty of empty seats and was able to move to an aisle after asking. What happens on a full flight? I would have been really upset. What is the point of pre-booking one' s seat? If the plane is changed, BA ought to take care to make sure a pre-booked seat gets a window/aisle near the row they chose. I suspect that is more important than the row on a long flight."

Terrible, just lousey. 3 and a half hours before flight we arrived and didn't even have a chance to get some lunch before flight. I give Toronto and air Canada the worst possible rating of any airport or airline I've ever dealt with. John O"Hearn"
Pros: "Flight actually left Orlando early once all passengers were on board"
Cons: "Almost missed my flight because an Air Canada representative insisted I could not use my visa debit card for the luggage fee. I then tried to pay cash, but he said that he didn't accept Canadian currency, so I would have to use the ATM to withdraw American cash. I did, and the fees were ridiculous. Then, he didn't have change to break the 40$ i withdrew into his $25 fee. I proceeded to follow him as he walked around for twenty minutes asking random people at the airport if they had change for a twenty. It was very embarrassing and stressful, as I already was in tears from saying goodbye to my partner. Boarding the plane wasn't a problem, but getting on a plane in Orlando, Florida with the air conditioner broken with a plane of 300+ was outrageous. It felt like a sauna in the airplane and the kids were screaming in discomfort, something a 20-something like myself wanted to do as well but had the control not to. It's a shame because we used Air Canada a lot to travel back and forth to visit each other, but with this last trip we will no longer be using this airline and will shop for alternatives who are worth the price of admission."
Cons: "Difficult to cancel flight. Could not do on line and when I called I went through a menu that said that no one was available and to call back later. Didn’t even state what later meant. Subsequently ended up not canceling in advance since very little ability to call back once into work day."
Pros: "Nothing horrible, but nothing especially good. Decent amount of space but nothing but room temperature beverage served."
Pros: "The flight was smooth and the entertainment was diverse which I loved. I watched a documentary on the Inuit and an Israeli movie ( both things I am not normally exposed to ). How awesome ."

Cons: "I was delayed significantly for both flights on my round-trip and all Air Canada can offer is 15% off my next flight with them. What an embarrassment this company is to be the official airline of Canada. They should change their name to Air Rouge and allow some other company earn Canada in the name. What absolute trash honestly, if you like delays because the plane has a technical problem and they can't even sort out a back up plane within 6 hours, at their headquarters with all these hangers and planes at their disposal, then at least you'll get 15% off your next delayed flight with them."

Cons: "Boarding always seems a bit of a jumble. Everyone stands around for what seems like an age. They announce zones 1 and 2, then people with children, then everyone else, but we are all standing around and then trying to queue for a long time."

Cons: "We avoid Air Canada and after this flight that will continue. First, they wanted $400 for the return trip to guarantee that my wife and I sit together. To guarantee that we sit together and that it would be safe for her 28in femurs it would be $800. Then the Orlando leg of our trip was delayed by two hours, guaranteeing that we would miss our connecting flight. They would not make arrangements prior to departure, nor would they respond to any enquiries from any of the passengers about their connecting flight arrangements. On arrival in Toronto, as we pulled up to the gate, they announced that they had found alternate connections for all but 4 passengers that we would get more information outside. There was nobody at the gate. There was noone at customs. We did not know if we had a connecting flight, or if we had to pick-up our luggage. Nobody from Air Canada gave us any information. We asked security at baggage if we should go on to connecting flights or wait for luggage and were only informed that once we leave the baggage area we couldn't return. When we got to the terminal entrance for connecting flights, we were told (by security) that we could not enter without a new boarding pass. THEY directed us to the line for Air Canada (no indication if we were in the right line, but other people in the line were in the same situation. We finally got to the counter and were informed that we were on the last flight of the night and given boarding passes. Thank heavens that my credit card has priority pass membership. Delays happen. The way Air Canada handles it turned a minor annoyance into a maximum-stress situation. We already avoid Air Canada because they took away almost 50,000 travel miles for not flying for one year. We will work even harder to avoid them in the future."

Cons: "The check in was a mess. Ticket counters were scattered, three flights going to Canada and no one was directing the lines. People in line were shouting at each other and getting angry. Took two hours to check in.....had to run to catch flight and I was there two hours before boarding time."
Pros: "Not certain the type of aircraft used for the flight from Orlando to Toronto, but it had more leg room and more comfortable seats that the flight to Orlando which was on an Airbus. The seats were a wee bit wider and the extra few inches of leg room made the difference between a completely unbearable flight and one that was "poor." (See comments about the crowding and heat.)"
Cons: "We were returning after a cruise, spent part of the day on a shore excursion before being dropped off at the airport 5 hours before our flight. There was no rep at the check-in counter until 3 hours before the flight which meant we had to sit in the terminal for two hours. If they could have had one rep on duty to check in early arrivals, we could have proceeded through security and spent time in the MCO Lounge which would have been more comfortable than the terminal. Once their check-in counter opened it took about 2 hours to clear that and security. Once on board the sold out flight, we were told it was too cold in the front of the plane; while in the back it was baking. For a flight departing Florida, I would expect the airline to have A/C running before we boarded."

Cons: "The fight itself was fine. Not great. Not terrible. But the airline lost my son's suitcase and has been entirely unhelpful ever since then. Now we have been stuck in a foreign country without clothes and toiletries for 36 hours and Air Canada's "helpline" has been anything but helpful. They can not find any information on the location of the suitcase and hope that they will find it in another 48 hours. Rediculous!! I will never fly them again and suggest that you save your money, effort and vacation by flying with another airline."
Cons: "We had a short time between flights. Custom wasn't to bad but having to get through security again was a mess. The security guard at first location told us the floor above was moving faster and had more doors. We were in a hurry and changed lines and the other was worse we walked up to gate right in time."
