I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired."

The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check."

I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. Guess it's better to be too cool than too hot. Otherwise. It was s great flight ."

She walked away without looking at. On her way down the hall says it will be open in an hour. An hour later I go to the gate. A woman is there and finishing up with another customer. When it was my turn, she said she was closed, yet she helped the joy behind me for over an hour. I know this because I got In the generic questions line and stood there for an hour watching the woman who was "closed" help this guy. When I was FINALLY able to talk to someone, the only thing he told me was to walk fast. That was well worth the 2 hour wait. I will never fly with American again."

Someone should do something about this prejudice rule against flyers."

Cons: "The lack of communication, I received an email about my flight changing at 9am but I did not see it because I was at the airport. No one at the gate said anything to us until we started going to the counter. I was switched to a standby flight which the employee thought it was more important to get an employees husband on and offered me a seat for $1,300 in first class if I wanted to get on "that bad" or another flight 3 1/2 hours later that would not qualify me for a lunch ticket. That 1:40 flight was delayed and we stayed sitting in the plane waiting for permission to leave at 2:56pm. I was to be in NY at 3pm to meet my family on other flights but I got there at 6:30pm while they waited for hours!!! Communication is very important, I know that incidents happen, but this was ridiculous! The flight attendants even ran out of free pretzel snacks and offered items for purchase. Will not forget this experience for a while."

The only option was to stream via my personally device. This would have been fine if there were outlets to charge personal devices at each set! The crew at the ticketing counter was VERY rude. The lady who finally helped me was nice. that was after standing in several lines!"

I'm giving an overall OK (instead of good) due to the fact that there were no snacks (although I did not want anything, it didn't go unnoticed) and although there was free inflight entertainment for personal devices, I feel the passengers should have been given free internet access - in my opinion, it would have been the appropriate thing to do. My party and I (along with other passengers) kept being routed to different gates and told to get information from that gate. After the 3rd reroute, I demanded that we all get better treatment and better communication and information about how to connect for our final destination. That response was met with "I can keep you here until tomorrow morning if you don't like it!" This was from a United Supervisor. My party and I were then routed to San Francisco...our destination was Seattle. When we arrived in S.F. I complained about the service received thus far and was given a $14.00 voucher for my "troubles and inconvenience." We were finally routed to and boarded a plane for our final destination of Seattle, arriving after 1:00 AM in the morning, when we were originally scheduled to arrive at 8pm, the evening prior. I understand that technical problems often times occur, but the crew and United's customer service reps could have done a better job of showing compassion and appreciation for our journey's disruption, inconvenience and missed connections. It was the poor attitudes of these individuals in the CUSTOMER SERVICE industry that really surprised and disappointed me. Their attitudes seemed to be pervasive throughout the company and not the attitudes of a select few employees. The flying experience is not what it use to be. I am on travel again in the next two weeks and actively and deliberately looked for flights on ANY airline OTHER than United. Never again will I fly this airline. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."
Pros: "I specifically loved all of the crew members on my flights to Orlando and back home. They gave me a few good laughs with their jokes and funny expressions. Another great factor of using Frontier is that they keep you up to schedule with your flight by sending you emails from the morning of until your flight departs to insure you don't miss a gate change or flight delays."

This was upsetting because I had a carry on and paid extra for Zone 1 and the second row. My bag had to be placed further back which delayed me getting off the plane. Why would they board ahead of scheduled boading time listed on the ticket, then just sit there for 20-25 min until they could close the cabin doors."

But then they get hit with $50 for the checked bag, and since it's 5 pounds over weight, They have to pay $80. $80 for a checked bag. So they take 5 pounds out, and hold it with them, to not incur the $30 charge. When they get to the gate, they are told to stuff everything into one bag, if they can't do it, they get charged another carry-on. $60-$100 dollars. This is a SHADY business. Please tell me you won't show them by DEFAULT!"

When I went to check in online, there was no itinerary to be found. I called, and they said since I was a "no show", it was cancelled and I could not be reimbursed. I offered to use it as credit and get a new flight, paying the difference. This request was declined. The agents on the phone were very rude. Spirit nickel and dimes you, has no available seats, doesn't feed you, and the planes are small. I will never attempt to take this airline again."

It just speaks to the incompetence of the Spirit airlines staff. I do not think that we shall again fly Spirit in the near future, nor shall we recommend it to other family members or friends."
