Cons: "This flight was for my wife and I's honeymoon and it was a miserable experience. The flight was delayed by several hours with no specific expectation of when it would actually leave. We were just continually told “soon”, “shortly”, “in an hour” all night long. If we were given a specific time then we could have planned on at least trying to sleep for a little while. It wouldn’t have been near the same inconvenience if it was during the day except it was during night when no stores were open to buy food or a pillow to try and sleep. The airline wasn’t able to get any pillows or blankets for us. Luckily we still made it on our cruise before it left but with no sleep it left us pretty miserable trying to recuperate from that night."

Cons: "Couldn't watch any movies, and most of the DirectTV movies would not play. I was in seat 24 F, and 24 E had the same issue. They told us the reset the system, but it didn't help. Still, plenty of entertainment and on an actual screen on the back of the seat. So I consider it only a dissapointment on an otherwise good airline."

Cons: "I boarded the flight with a carry-on and one personal item. As usual I personally place the carry-on in an overhead bin. After the flight landed and I went to retrieve my carry-on, it was gone! The flight was full, so I checked with the flight attendants if my bag somehow got gate-checked or it was moved. They didn't know and they said maybe it went into the checked bags. So I wait at the baggage claim and out comes my carry on bag without any tags. Strange! My carry on didn't have anything valuable, but a bit of communication or some form of record would have made this odd incident a little less nerve-wracking. 1. Please communicate with the passenger if their bags get transferred to the checked bags 2. Please communicate with the crew which bags get moved from the cabin to the checked luggage 3. Please label the bags if they get moved around--there was no gate-checked tags or any stickers to communicate with the checked luggage folks."

Cons: "The flight was delayed twice and then jump back to the original time according to the JetBlue app. I had also called the airport I was departing from, and they're updated system said it was the original time, as well. Then they offered 2 wave the fees for cancellation or change of itinerary. So I went to go do that for the next day, because my flight wouldn't land in till 3 in the morning. But right as i clicked the confirm button, it said that offer was no longer eligible. And then it got changed again to the second alert which was 11:40 something, for departure. I understand that there was a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch, and warnings along the surrounding cities, however the continually changes in time, JetBlue and mco were not update with each other, it changed so much, so fast."

Also, there was a gentle and effective push to get everyone to get seated quickly, and we arrived early to our destination. All good."
Cons: "The screaming boy in front of me who choked on something and threw up a little. I had to hold a napkin over my nose for most of the trip because of the smell. The parents took care of it without letting anyone know, so it wasn't anything against the crew. I was just uncomfortable for most of the trip because of that."

When we landed we landed so fast the pilot had to brake very hard that life jackets came out of the pockets under the seats."

This route back or forth only works on time in high season, which usually are the common holidays of the year, other than this skip it, the delays turns flight into a nightmare pushing the wait, and travel, as a direct flight to Los Angles leaving form San Juan or a total hour of 10+"

Pros: "The atmosphere was just right for flying except when I entered the Aircraft I was totally turned off when I encountered a woman and her child and her carry-on pieces was already established in my seat 2A. She did move when I requested but what got me annoyed she had me locked in my seat because all her belongings remained in the passage way making it difficult to make my way to the restroom. IN MY OPINION THIS WAS A SAFETY HAZARD. I had every reason to suspect that she is known to the captain because he came to greet her. ERROLD"

UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO MAKE USE OF THE RESTROOM AND HAD TO BE USING MY ATHELETIC SKILS TO GET BY. THIS REALLY SPOILT MY FLIGHT. MY FLIGHT # WAS 881 TO ST. LUCIA SEAT 2A. SAFETY SHOULD NEVER BE COMPROMISED EVEN IF FRIENDSHIP IS INVOLVED."

Cons: "The flight announcer at the beginning of the flight was super unprofessional. They kept having to stop their script in order to laugh and giggle. Had I not already know how to do the safety procedures, I wouldn't have learned it from him. The seat belt barely fit me. Now, to be fair, I am fat. But, when I had to suck in to belt in, there was no slack on the end. The seat 31C has a busted aux port. I tried to watch a movie, first off the closed captioning didn't work. So I tried to listen. The aux port wiggled in it's casing and there was so much static that there was no point in listening. The off boarding process was very slow and uncoordinated. I understand that they have to off board in a certain order. However, the flight announcer could have kept the rest of the plane updated on the process. Instead we had to sit in claustrophobic silence and fidget while the line of passengers in the aisle did not move."

The board at the airport and online even said it was an on time flight up until the moment it was originally supposed to depart (not board). So they knew ( because they didn't let us board) but never updated their info. A simple email would have saved me from getting up 5 hours early just wait 5 hours in the airport. Fu ck them for that!"

Pros: "JetBlue out of Marine Air Terminal at LGA is a game changer for this New Yorker. It made our lives unbelievably easier - no airport madness, quick security, friendly staff, and timely departure and arrival. It also makes it super easy to get a ride or rideshare (such as Lyft) to pick you up."

Cons: "We were told there were mechanical problems with the plane coming from another location so our flight was delayed but we didn’t get notification until last minute. We were charged for every bag headed back home when we were only charged for 1 bags leaving out. In flight TVs barely worked and the plane wasn’t that clean since they didn’t have much time to clean the due to the delay."

Pros: "Flight got delayed for over 10 hours and the attitude of one of the reps at the gate was very harsh , plus he kept on making up unesesarry stories to individual clients when we ask him about the possibility of getting on the flight the next day . He was never polite to us made us feel like he was granting us a favour when we approached him to ask about the status of the delayed flight . Because of that delay rather than getting home at the scheduled 2pm on October 3 I got there at 12am on October 4 2017"

Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Stale bread, cheese on the sandwich was so bad the baby wouldn't eat it, and he eats almost everything. It was the first food I have seen him refuse to eat."

Cons: "The connection in Miami didn’t happen - the flights crew on the ORLANDO yo to Miami flight were rude and unhelpful - the plane sat in the tarmac waiting for a gate so flight arrived 15 minutes before planned departure - we inquired as to whether the plane would be held - response- despite having internet access was “ I don’t know “ you’ll have to check with gate agent - oh and by the way the flight attendant was virtually laying on the front seats - she as grossly obese and was so large as he walked the aisles she would hit passengers every time she turned around - we ran to the gate arriving 8 minutes before departure - gate was shut two gate agents were reading social media posts on their phones - we inquired about the flight - the gate agent said “ you missed the flight “ and then sat down and continued on her phone - the other one at least looked up and told us where to them go for assistance - eventually we were assisted and offferd 1 to wait u til the next day to go or to go through London - we took the London option. 1. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired."

Pros: "The plane was nice and clean. Boarding went well and staff nice on boarding. Service was smooth though food not great but then it is airplane food. The morning continental food was nicely packaged and good."
Cons: "The plane boarded and left gate a little late but had a maintenance issue with one of its doors so plane had to return to gate. We finally got off the ground almost three hours late but staff tried to be as helpful as possible though they didn’t know much. It was good the passengers seemed fairly patient and accepting. The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check."

Pros: "Arrived in Dallas early"
Cons: "1. Flight crew stopped coach passengers in the middle of boarding to take drink orders from first class passengers. Very rude and unnecessary. 2. Flight crew allowed passengers to wait for the restroom next to the pilot access door. At least five times with single passengers waiting and once with two waiting. Crew said nothing. 3. Flight crew did not check seatbelts prior to takeoff in the forward section of coach. At least one seatbelt remained unsecured and one child had a backpack on his lap during takeoff. Very unprofessional crew. Credit card promotions over the PA system were very annoying and unintelligible."

Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "Lost my flight and for next avaulable flight was left over by just seeing how other passengers were given priority before me."

Pros: "AA canceled our flight on 9/13 and rescheduled us to 9/15 for no apparent reason. There were flights leaving Orlando. When I called to ask why since all I received was a text message the customer service rep was rude. Then I received another text message on 9/13 at 4:30 am saying my flight was canceled and we were rebooked again!!! After calling again I was told if I want to leave on Friday we would have to leave from another airport that was over an hour away which means $225 in transportation to get us there! This is on top of the 2 additional hotel nights we paid for and additional meals. When I asked if we would be compensated for all the additional expenses we were incurring I was told it's weather related so probably not. I informed the rep that flights have been leaving Orlando since Tuesday 9/12 so that cannot be the case. She said to try to contact them online. UNACCEPTABLE. I will not fly AA again and I will not recommend them to family or friends. If I could give zero stars I would but the survey defaults to one star."

Cons: "There was a 3 hour flight delay in JFK but to be honest there is a lot to do in the airport and Nice bars and shops next to the gate so I was occupied. Annoying for family picking me up in Scotland however."

Cons: "The booking agent poorly scheduled our connecting flight in Charlotte as by the time we hit the ground, our next flight was boarding and the landing gate was way across the airport from the connecting gate. Needless to say we missed our flight and had to wait for 7-8 hours to fly out."

Pros: "The options for entertainment were great."
Cons: "The space and seats were uncomfortable. I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

Pros: "the team was great, boarsing smooth, arrived early"
Cons: "we waited an hour for the bags to arrive on the carousel. What's that about? Get it together and have the bags out in time. We're just sitting here waiting for them over an hour - there are no other arrivals in this terminal. What's going on?"

Pros: "Liked having an exit row seat, appreciated being given a full can of soda, and loved the in-flight entertainment options as I was able to watch two recently released movies."
Cons: "Leg and knee space stink for basic economy, especially as a big guy (6'4")."

Pros: "The flight was very comfortable and quick"
Cons: "Just after take off my television froze and my husband television lost sound, I asked one of the crew members if he could fix the issue, he responded by saying all he has to do is go reset it, but I didn't see him for the duration of the flight nor was the problem solved"

Pros: "the wntertainment worked."
Cons: "This is one of the worst flights I've been on in a long time. When I arrived to the airport they had not assigned me a seat and did so at the gate. I was in the worst sear on the plane. Very last seat on the plane by the lavatories and newr the flight attendants station. The flight attendants talked very loudly the entire flight. so loud I woke up and needed to watch a movie to drown them out. i wdoubt I will be back on American any time soon."

Pros: "Price. That's it."
Cons: "We sat in Orlando waiting to take off - delayed for OVER 30 minutes because ---> the catering truck failed to show up. The captain aired his frustration of the catering crew. Supposed to arrive in Philly approximately 2:24pm - we didn't arrive until 3:03pm. Baggage took another 20-30 minutes. All American emoloyees looked tired. Not one smile either to Orlando or from Orlando. (Oh yeah - we were late taking off to start my vacation from Philly because a crew failed to arrive to "start the engines of the aircraft," per captain's announcement. The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone.""

Pros: "Crew was nice, plane had power and good entertainment."
Cons: "Boarding was a mess - I couldn't distinguish the line and elbow my way to the front before the gate agent called the two boarding groups behind me."

Cons: "As will sometimes happen, aircraft was delayed over and over again. After an announcement that a new aircraft "might"arrive but we may have to fly the next day, I had my travel agent book a flight with Southwest. Only reason ever given was that there was an "odor" on the aircraft....awesome. I know aircraft issues happen, but the communication was horrible."

Pros: "The service AA provides is very constant in time and that is good"
Cons: "Chairs could have more comfort"

Cons: "Flight was delayed 2 hours and another hour once we boarded. Traveled with small infant and no priority boarding or early access, even though flying alone. Charged for any checked bags"

Cons: "American Airlines are incompetent. Almost 3 hour delays for no reason. The lavatory was not working so delayed the flight for it when the plane has been sitting there for 2 hours before the flight time. In they end the decided to fly with the lavatory after waiting for 1 hour take off time. Then that chained different causes, runway delay times and gate taxi delays at landing. The flight was very bumpy because they were trying to make up for lost time, such a mess."
