If traveling JA bring your own seat padding like a sweater or blanket. Customs and security in Osaka was super fast with facial recognition so you don’t need to arrive to airport super early but if you do they basically have a mall in tbe terminal to keep you busy for hours and spend any left over Yen

Japan Airlines is a difficult airline to check-in on both the app and on-line. It is best to to call and have them walk you through their process. Know that they have limited hours for customer service and may be open only Monday - Friday. Highly suggest that you visit Visit Japan Website and Register for Immigration and Customs.

Crew was good. Sometimes food was eh. The spaghetti is gross for me. First time i got food, they didn’t provide utensils so i ate with my hands. I was hungry. They gave it to me 20 mins later when a crew member came by. I would fly with them again. Nobody is perfect

Eva air was fine - Trip.com via KAYAK sold my family access to a “VIP” lounge fo a layover in Taipei… i’m please look at my pictures. It was a scam, Trip.com knows it and they are perpetrating a fraud through your web site.

My flight was amazing smooth and the attendants were so friendly and nice

Crew are excellent. Food was good generally. Seats are small and there isn’t much leg room. Overhead bins are very small.

More seat space More bathrooms Charging outlets Plane was old

It was a pleasure to fly with EVA airlines from Taipei to San Francisco.

I love EVA airline, but the KAYAK website for not in emergency, urgency and personal issues. For instance, on January 5/2026 with already booked the flight, I have a 15 hours of delay between airport when booked before as my choice. But if I want to go back home (U.S) early, then I have to contact the KAYAK office at I was in other country without phone service and nothing that EVA can do for me. Even I offered to pay more to change from another flight to go to the U.S early, not wasting at15 hours of delay, but EVA could not help me until I call KAYAK at an Island of nation. No office of KAYAK from any nation and times of difference in the world. However, everything and everyone is the best. Therefore, please KAYAK making much more easy for both the airline and passenger in some issues at the middle of nowhere in some country when no need to call KAYAK for some emergency, urgency, sick, etc or personal reference. Please, please, please no need to call KAYAK office for any changes of flights from urgency or private.

My seat arrangement was good with Eva Air. The toilet sanitary was good ( hand wash, face moist spraying, fresh air spray, hair moisturizer). But the Asian movie selection was not great at all.

I have never heard of EVA air before but I am so happy my wife and I were able to flight on their planes twice. Everything on these flights just felt better than their competitors. As someone with longer legs any bit of extra leg spaces is appreciated. The different options for food and drinks were also a plus. They were extra careful to make sure my wife's eating restrictions were taken care for. They had a before take off and landing announcements on the built in tablets for each seat and it gave out information that was very helpful. Such as what and how to declare your items in the specific country you landed in, any odd items that may be illegal to bring it (and even the reasoning why) and any other information you might need to make your post flight experience better. The only downside was there were "forced" ads on the tablet at take off for maybe 5-10 minutes but honestly, this flight was the cheapest option and had all the benefits listed above that is such an easy trade off. Im keeping an eye out for EVA air going forward.

Booked this by accident, when I missed my Peach Air flight from KIX to TPE that morning. And am I glad I missed it. Eva has to be one of the best airlines I’ve ever been on. It was my first official impression of the Taiwan, and it set the bar high.

Good. The only thing is that I missed the flight.

My seat was so hard and uncomfortable. I took AA to Japan longer flight no tailbone pain. Coming back on JA shorter flight my tailbone was killing me no cushion on seat or just worn out.

It was amazing. Japan is lovely. I hope to go again. Thank you for everything.

I have been flying with JAL a few times, crews service, food, overall comfort even with economy, I would rate it the top three airlines. None of any American carriers can provide such excellent service.

I really love their services! From checking-in to deplaning, superb! Highly recommended!

I love Japan Airlines! I go out of my way to book with them. It is regrettable that the One World Alliance includes American Airlines though. The last leg of my flight from LAX to Austin was easily the worst, most disorganized part of the trip. Next time I will plan to fly directly from DFW to Haneda to avoid American Airlines as much as possible.

My total experience was good. The food and entertainment need improvement.

All of the JAL flights in this itinerary were great. However the last leg of my flight from LAX to SFO was through Japan Air’s partner, AA which wqsn’t up to par. We were informed only minutes before boarding time of a delay despite the airlines knowing about the delay far earlier (the aircraft we would be taking arriving arrived and disembarked close to our boarding time, for all to see but AA still kept the original boarding time posted until last minute). Furthermore, once we boarded the taxi/wait time was also extended, with the pilot blaming “construction at SFO” for the delay, rather than taking accountability for the the plane’s late arrival coming into LAX. We took off approximately an hour later than scheduled. It’s for these reasons I adamantly avoid American Airlines when possible. Again, JAL was stellar.

Great service but food taste and options have gone down a few notches.

Very comfortable unlike my first trip where they switched my flight from JAL to AA which was a disaster!

Food could be better it was okay. Entertainment seems dated it was something but in this day and age could be a lot better.

2nd major delay due to maintenance issues. 1st delay missed my connecting flight.

The aircraft was massive (A-380) and became crowded with 400+ passengers on board.

Coming back to America was a peaceful flight everyone and everything was perfect

The staff was courteous and the flight was very smooth. It was so nice to see the captain greeting the passengers at the end of the flights.

Flight was too cold. I wore a regular cotton tee and it wasn’t enough. It was a night time flight so I would have thought a blanket would be provided to passengers. A 4 hour flight and no options for a meal? I flew Asiana the next day from Seoul to Manilla. Same duration, 4 hours. They give everyone a pillow and blanket and serve a meal. Why is United so cheap and holding back meals and amenities? Also, they promote too much gay stuff and DEI in their advertisements. Please be mindful of other beliefs and don’t shove your gay ideology down my throat.

Everything is good, the only issue is the aircraft need to be upgraded

The legroom in economy was better than other airlines. Since my legs are long, that means a lot. Also, the A380 from Los Angeles to Incheon gave passengers a smooth ride. Everything went smoothly from boarding to disembarkation in Incheon. I'd fly Asiana again!

The flight attendant, where kind of rude, there where hiding for almost 3 hours, without doing rounds to see if people needed water or pickup the water cups, the toilets were full of water cups, because they never come back to pick them up.

Amazing service and fabulous syaff. Loved the jumbo jet too, comfortable.
