Cons: "I really didn’t like the Hawaii check in process. I purchased the ticket through kayak , JAL to Honolulu.Of course I went to JAL counter to check in, but the service lady told me I have to go to Hawaiian airlines. Cause the flight was share by JAL through Hawaiian. What a mess!"

Cons: "Almost everything on the in flight entertainment system cost money and the screen was not very responsive."

Pros: "The gate crew was outstanding in a very difficult situation. They were all very professional and helpful."
Cons: "Scheduled departure was eleven a.m. and actual departure was over seven hours later. We were each provided a $100 credit memo for future travel, but when we tried to reschedule our return trip to avoid LAX we were told the credit could only be used for new travel. Not happy about either the delay or the inability to use the $100 each credits. On top of that, we had to pay $400 rescheduling fees for the two tickets. That looks like a threefer to me. Pretty much sucks."

Cons: "Not clear what line to stand in signs would help Such as if you had a boarding pass you can just stand in the line that will give your baggage tag versus just standing in the general line"

Pros: "Speedy and friendly service throughout. I did the self check-in and when the worker checked my ID she's told me I was military so I didn't need to pay the check-in baggage fee and refunded me. Awesome benefit to those that serve."

Cons: "Plane showed up 2 1/2 hours late. Seats in terminal were very uncomfortable and staff had no clue what was going on. They had 3 flights trying to leave from same gate at same time. Plane seats were also very uncomfortable. Once plane was boarded and on way pilot came on and blamed the delay on maintenance issues and weather. Airline delay caused 2 hour delay getting our rental car. We didn't get to our lodging until midnight and should have been there by 7 pm."

Cons: "First class seats are miserably uncomfortable, barely wider than a coach seat. Only difference I Can tell is that it has more padding. Foot rest is unbelievably unfunctional. Food was good but no wine or refill of the other beverages was offered with the meal. Flight crew as polite, but wooden and unengaging. Baggage claim at destination was efficient. I only fly with this airline , and in first class, because I have sooooo many miles.. if that weren't the case I would try someone else. Who knows , maybe they would not be any better."

Pros: "Friendly smiles of the crew. The app didn't work because it boarded late so my electronic boarding pass wouldn't work."
Cons: "Boarding was late, which resulted in my election boarding pass didn't work and the gate. It was my first time using the so so I was worried they wouldn't let me on the flight. The app also wouldn't let me select email boarding pass after I viewed the electronic one. The app also would start over every time my screen rotated or my screen locked. I had to re-enter all my information again."

Pros: "The plane was held a few minutes to give us time for a quick transfer since we were late arriving. Even our luggage made it onto the plane with us. The whole Hawaiian staff and crew were so helpful getting us to our connecting flight in time. We were even offered a yummy Rum Punch drink on our flight. Hawaiian flight attendants all the friendliest and most helpful of any airline I've experienced!"

Pros: "The fact they were at least able to change our flights twice."
Cons: "While we were in the Hawaiian Airlines Plumeria lounge, they should've let us know that we were about to miss our flight. Especially with taking care of an 8 month of baby, sometimes you lose track of time. We missed the original flight even though we had asked the front desk agent to contact the gate to hold it for us for a few minutes. When we arrived at the gate, the ramp had already been retracted so we missed our flight. Next flight was the next day so we had to rent another rental car, another night's hotel totaling an extra $200 in Waikiki. At least they changed my flight without fees. But overall a bad experience."

Cons: "Completely ruined my first day on vacation. I asked ahead about my bag being transferred between flights and it never was. It's been over 5 hours and still haven't gotten my luggage. Customers service was terrible and was up to me calling multiple times to get any response. Haven't been able to enjoy being outside because they have all my stuff and I am not a priority."
