So the questions are- why don’t the airport hold a larger inventory of parts, why aren’t there back up planes and why doesn’t the software better cope with these types of situations?"

Cons: "The flight was scheduled for 7:45 pm. Due to the storm the day before, my flight out of Miami was cancelled and I was told that the flight out of W Palm Beach was my only option. I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

Cons: "The Cancun airport provides a terrible experience for transferring between flights, especially if you need to change from the international terminal to a domestic terminal or vice-versa. There is no way to get between terminals inside security and the free shuttle is slow and overcrowded. Meanwhile, one is forced to run a gauntlet of taxi and shuttle drivers trying to get you to pay them exorbitant fees to drive you to your terminal. Once you finally arrive you discover that there is no dedicated baggage recheck for an international arrival. Just don't buy a ticket that transfers in CUN."

I had to spent one hour to fit this information to be able to check in.? It was an international flight but it was treated like a domestic flight. We were not even offered the curtesy snake for a domestic flight by unfriendly stewards apparently unhappyted with her job. Apparanty all American carrier staffs has no respect for customers. It is not only s united problem. Curtesy and respects goes both ways. They need to be retrained in public relation."

This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Cons: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

We experienced crazy long lines for: the bus between terminals, immigration passport review; passport review before the metal detector, and detailed tests on permitted volumes of shampo, and toothpaste. The agent forced me to check a normally permitted carryon bag, then the bags took 45 minutes to be placed on the turnstile after the flight. Not an efficient airport."

Pros: "This was actually a very pleasant trip. Left a few minutes late (minor mechanical issue) but arrived right on time. Crew was courteous and efficient. The food was the best I have had on any airline in years. Entertainment included a good selection of recent movies."
Cons: "I'm 6'2" and slender - those seats are tight in both leg room and shoulder width, hence the "OK" rating for comfort. I was fortunate that my seat mates were also slender so none of us overlapped the armrests, and that the person ahead of me never reclined their seat because I have no idea of where my legs would have fitted had they done so. The only other gripe is that the volume of the entertainment system seems disconnected from the announcement system. The announcement system is WAY louder than the entertainment system - painfully so. I noticed many others around me also ripping off their headphones when a crew announcement commenced."

Also chick peas without spices and rava kesari can be served with breakfast."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled, but after I took another flight, I was notified that my flight had merely been postponed for half an hour. By this time, I'd already missed my train in Frankfurt, creating hours of extra travel time and huge inconvenience after an already long trip from the US. British Airways said the cancellation had been due to weather, but skies were clear from London to Frankfurt. I'll never fly BA again."

On other BA flights, there has been excellent attention to detail in Club World. This one was very poor."

Cons: "Purchase through viyama, an Iberia flight that was a code share with British airways and American Airlines. Iberia is terrible with getting its passengers online check-in on their code share partners. Was unable to check-in, got stuck in middle seat. Return seems to be the same situation with American Airlines."

Pros: "Having a little bit more room, footrest and legrest do really make a difference on the long haul flight. The little touches like being greeted with a glass of wine or water, having proper silverware with the main meal really mitigate the general misery of long haul flying. The main meal is really quite delicious as well. You also get provided with socks, toothbrush, mask and nice headphones."
Cons: "Honestly, the seats are really quite hard and could use a little more padding! They give you a little cushion which I ended up sitting on to relieve pressure on my tailbone. The coffee that came with the box lunch was fine but if you wanted cream you were out of luck. Instead a tiny amount of milk was provided. At least you got some caffeine!"

Cons: "We checked in exactly 2 hours and 30 minutes before scheduled departure time, as previously instructed when we attempted check-in some three-and-a-half hours before departure. Thus we were, I'm fairly certain, the second couple to check in for the entire flight. I asked the agent if the fare we paid allowed us a checked piece of luggage. She said that, yes, we were entitled to one checked piece per passenger at no charge. That being the case, I asked the agent to issue a refund for the two Checked Baggage fees my wife had paid online. She insisted there was nothing she could do about it and it was totally out of her hands. I explained to her my understanding that such refund must be requested PRIOR TO CHECK-IN, but she reiterated there was nothing she could do, and offered no solution whatsoever. In addition, the agent insisted that we were not allowed to carry-on a cabin bag in addition to a personal item. When I asserted my rights (See Note 1), she had the temerity to say "You should know British Airlines' policy if you buy a ticket." Trying another tack, I asked who DID get to use the overhead lockers, since they were only allowing under-seat sized Personal Items to be brought on-board. She replied that the "no cabin baggage" policy applied "after the first 30 passengers boarded the plane." (Please recall that we were the second couple ON THE ENTIRE PLANE to check-in, and thus should make that artificial "cut-off." (Also, as a Million Mile flyer with your partner, American Airlines, I believe we're entitled to Priority Boarding.) Concerned about the valuable items in the cabin bag she was effectively commandeering, I inquired about the airlines Limits of Liability in case of Loss or Damage. She said she had no idea. I then asked to see a copy of the airline's Conditions of Carriage. But she was either unable or unwilling to provide same. I arrived very, very early to ensure these sorts of problems could be ironed-out before departure, and am frankly appalled by the lack of knowledge, professionalism and judgement the airline exhibited in this instance. Also: On-board service was so incredibly slow, the last two rows were not served until 15 minutes prior to landing. ("There you go, sir. Bottoms up... and be quick about it! ;-) Bill B. Los Angeles, CA USA"

Cons: "3 hours standing in British airways and Iberian airways ticket and checking counters to get alternative flights. They could not do the "entire change" and required that we wIt in line after line. Will be a full 24 hours until the entire trip is complete. Would have been nice to at least sit in the empty first class seats on the transatlantic flight with my party as a bit of customer service. Wondering how many hours other had to wait for alternative flights because they did not use the first class seats as an alternative."

Pros: "Food and crew were nice. Smooth landing and take off."
Cons: "Entertainment was terrible. Very limited choices. Water dripped on me from the AC when landing. Headphone jack was nearly stripped out."

Pros: "We had a ton of extra leg room"

Cons: "This flight was delayed for 3 hrs which meant I would miss 2 onward connections-- had to be re- booked on American"

Pros: "The food was good. They asked for people with carry on to check their baggage at the gate. We were the only ones that did and they rewarded us with priority boarding. Nice touch."
Cons: "Non stop London to San Diego, 10.5 hr flight. Like most airlines the fit was so tight that by the end of the flight I never want to fly again."

Cons: "Very rough ride, made me sick"

Pros: "It was great to be upgraded!"

Pros: "Same as above: On-time departure, comfortable cabin, good communication and attentive crew, that's all I want and I got it on this flight!"

Cons: "My luggage was completely soaked, ruining important paperwork, clothing and even my parking lot ticket for me to exit the parking garage. Apparently they didn’t even try to cover the passengers luggage."

Pros: "The crew was friendly, check in and security went pretty quick. The plane was clean and the ride was safe and smoothly"
Cons: "The plane door got stuck and delayed us for a while. It cost $30 to check my bag. They gave me 2 cookies to eat on, one on each flight. Anything else was $10 bucks or so. Even a bag of chips would have been an upgrade. I miss the days when everything wasn’t an extra fee."

Pros: "Free movie. Informative announcements - friendlier than usual. They told us we were going to take off an hour late due to bad weather in Philly, but it turned out to be only 1/2 hour, and we arrived only 15 minutes late than scheduled. Not so bad."

Pros: "For this flight I was seated in first class (I scheduled it this way; it wasn't due to a last minute upgrade) and the flight attendant was very personable and attentive :-) Service was wonderful and the meal was great! Of course, the flight attendant made sure to keep our beverages topped off as needed. It was a wonderful experience"
Cons: "The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience."

Then I was Told I couldnt Get a partial refund for the flight that was canceled to Wisconsin"

Cost me $195 for the rental, which I'm sure they could have gotten a better deal, and I got home at 430am! Never again American Airlines!"

Cons: "Purchased tickets for three of us weeks in advance. Purchased seat upgrades for all three of us for all four legs of our flight. Flight delayed for two hours. When boarding, one pass failed scan. They immediately printed another without comment. While in line to board my friend noticed they changed her seat from 4D to 36F. We returned to complain. They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."
