I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

Pros: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Cons: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Cons: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

It's not like we need these things for shorter fights, but why would anyone pay more to fly a nicer airline if you're treated like you're on Ryan Air?"

We were charged for drinks that are usually complimentary (water and ginger ale) and when the credit card slip needed to be signed, my partner's ginger ale was spilled. The attendants couldn't be bothered to give us more than two cocktail napkins to clean up an entire can-worth, and did not offer to replace the drink. I had to dig into my bag to try and find napkins because there was soda covering the tray as well as all over the seat and his lap. I've always had positive experiences on BA flights, but sorry to say this one was sub-par."

They made any announcement asking people to stop hitting the call button about it because they were aware of the problem and said that if there was no improvement they would reset the entire plane's entertainment system which they never did. Therefore, we did not have any functioning entertainment for the remaining 6.5 hours of the flight."

Cons: "The boarding gate was not posted until 25 min before plane was scheduled to depart, the departure was 20 min late, Customs at Lisbon took 1.5 hours for a simple stamp on my American passport. The aircraft was packed full, not even water was offered without charge, the service even at that was barely fast enough to make one pass of the passengers before landing, the aisles were continually blocked with service carts selling so how are you supposed to make a bathroom break?"

Pros: "I was moved from this flight to one seven hours earlier with only the explanation that it was for "technical reasons." But the flight wasn't canceled, so I don't understand at all."

They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."

They made me a check my carry on bag because it was over small mediocre weight requirement even though lots of people had heavier bags. Then they LOST that bad for 2 days and it was a nightmare getting it back in another country. The second leg, a person whose bag was on board was unaccounted for, so we were delayed again."

We waited at baggage claim for over an hour for our bags. It appeared to me, I will admit, I could not see, that there was one handler for the bags. He would take and put bags on the belt and then shut it down and move bags on the cart so he could toss um on the belt. It is the longest that I have ever waited for my bags. I think you can see I wasn't all that pleased"

This is a short flight and TAP can provide passengers with fresh fruit ( Portugal,has great oranges, apples and many other fruits at reasonable price) and it would be much healthier. A fresh bun would make a big difference too! Or at least warm it up before serving."

I will always look forward to a TAP flight with trepidation, and I'm not even going to think about flying TAP on an intercontinental flight. It's a pity, because otherwise it's not a half bad airline."
