By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Cons: "There was an incident prior to take off where a passenger in first class had to be removed from the plane. Though it’s certainly not the airlines fault that there was an issue with a passenger, they should’ve been a lot more transparent and gave us a lot more information on what exactly was going on other then “we need to go back to a special area to get this passenger off.” Couple that with the security checks to “make sure there is nothing on the plane that shouldn’t be” and very little explanation of what actually occurred, it made for a very stressful flight. Not knowing if this passenger had made any kind of threat against the plane, or safety of other passengers... etc, it was very hard to feel safe for the remainder of my trip being left in the dark as the incident occurred in first class."

And then on the way back to Florida, my flight was delayed twice, and I almost missed my connecting flight. One of the worst experiences flying. Then I was Told I couldnt Get a partial refund for the flight that was canceled to Wisconsin"

Cons: "I know this isn’t Kayak’s issue but American Airlines literally forgot to put fuel into the plane. We were delayed for over an hour and luckily I made my connection in Charlotte but only because they held the flight and it was not full. Had it been full I would have lost my seat."

FAA should investigate with the decreased aisle width and distance between the seats, can the evacuation be completed within required time, in an actual emergency. American Airlines is endangering the lives of passengers. And the cramped conditions are contributing to the hostile actions of some passengers. What does it take to do what is right?"

Cons: "Purchased tickets for three of us weeks in advance. Purchased seat upgrades for all three of us for all four legs of our flight. Flight delayed for two hours. When boarding, one pass failed scan. They immediately printed another without comment. While in line to board my friend noticed they changed her seat from 4D to 36F. We returned to complain. They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."

Also boarding was late due to no flight attendant working the stand in Burbank for standbys until takeoff. I think had the flight attendant done so 15-20 minutes before regular boarding time, it would've gone smoother"

Walking the terminal again from where we came, we passed the SOUTH security checkpoint and made it another 5mins to gate."

Especially lacking in any gluten free options or anything resembling healthy. A small thing of fruit that probably has 70 calories is not enough to sustain someone on a near 8 hour flight."

Cons: "I missed my original connecting flight in EWR because there was no gate available when we landed. After waiting several minutes, we taxiied to a different gate. I called customer service to let them know we were on the ground waiting for a gate assignment. Despite this, the flight boarded and left with several people missing the connection even though that flight pushed back later than its original time and departed almost an hour late. The plane was sitting there with the door closed. After that, I was put on the next available flight which was already delayed more than 2 hours. That delay extended even longer and was eventually cancelled due to weather. United CS reps were not willing to address passenger concerns. They closed the CS area in some portions of the airport forcing everyone to a very limited number of reps. I ended up having to rent a car and spending the first 5 hours of my birthday driving home. I should have been able to make my connecting flight and would have avoided the entire mess. Instead, I am out of my ticket price plus the additional cost of renting a car since my changed flight was cancelled due to weather not the gate assignment changes that originally caused me to miss the connection. What should have been a brief 4-5 hour trip ended up being almost a 20 hour day....United absolutely SUCKS!"

Cons: "Same experience on ANOTHER 8 hour flight I have NEVER flown on an international flight and NOT received a complimentary meal or two...When I'm flying for 8 hours. On top of that the seats were very small and uncomfortable. I shouldn't feel a person grabbing a magazine or pulling down a tray when I'm sitting in the seat in front of them. I couldn't consistently watch a show or movie for 3 minutes thanks to the wifi and or app on MY Samsung tablet....it's SO sad that you guys couldn't have them already installed like other airlines. This airline is already in hot water, I expected MUCH better customer service. I will do my best NOT to use them again and tell others to do the same."

Cons: "United has terrible boarding procedures... a problem most airlines have... they need to get it together to stop the mad rush to get on the plane... 5 boarding groups does absolutely nothing... On a side note many things could be improved by offering free checked baggage and charge for overhead bins.... so many delays, arguments and general aggravation caused by people struggling for overhead bin space... just have a guaranteed spot overhead for a fee.... no more aggravation period... when they started charging for checked bags but offered free carry on the problems got worse... flip it around and several problems go away... simple."

Cons: "United continues to drop the ball on every flights I take. I only fly them when I absolutely have to bring platinum on delta and mosaic on JetBlue. Consistently worse vs those two start to finish."

Cons: "United operated the ROR-GUM. Philippine Airlines operated the GUM to MNL segment. Checked baggage could not be transferred in GUM. Checked bags had to be picked upnin baggage claim and rechecked with PR. Should not have been listed as a joint fare."

Cons: "United's inefficient practices resulted in a missed connection for which they did nothing to compensate me."
