Cons: Enforcing covid restrictions

Pros: The crew was very nice and helpful, I had a nice spot on the plane, and it went very smoothly, especially considering the circumstances. I was supposed to be flying to Seattle later on, but I had to change my flight last minute because of the virus. The whole Delta team was very understanding and considerate and it made the process much less stressful.
Cons: My flight was cancelled and rescheduled for a later time the day before and there was a lot of changing of gates and running around, but I understand that everything has been hectic and I don’t blame that on you, I know you’re all doing your best.

Cons: Awful flight attendant that was rude in not passing a snack to us and then not handing a bottle of water to me when snacks were being stroked to the passengers. When asking her why she didn't provide us a snack she said that this is a plane and when the captain says we have to land that she doesn't have to pass out snacks. The interesting thing is that all the other passengers around us receive snacks and bottled water except us. When we were leaving the plane after it landed my mom had to stay behind while I went to the front of the plane a good wheelchair assistance. The same stewardess said why did your son leave you and my mother had to correct her and say that he went to the front to get wheelchair assistance. The lady was very rude and didn't know proper manners.

Cons: Boarding was orderly but it was hard to hear the announcements of the zones. I flew economy and it was like flying in a frozen sardine can. There was absolutely NO leg room. At 5 ft, 2 " if I found it difficult, I cannot even imagine how a taller person felt. I wore a coat, sweater, and scart , and warm socks, and I was still freezing the entire trip. It took me 20 minutes to thaw out after arriving. It was quite uncomfortable.

Cons: I began asking for my wheelchair escort the minute I got off the plane. I was assured in Houston they would be there when I got to Detroit. They were not. The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful.

Cons: I purchase tickets using credit card points and was not allowed to have seat assignments until 24 hours before the flight. This is NOT going to work for me in the future

Cons: The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with.

Keeping this from jading my point of view, the airline stood within the standard of what is expected of a good trip. Food was good, and the choice of movies, shows, and games helped the time pass. Staff was friendly, and checked bags were ready rather quickly.

Cons: To be fair the flight from Honolulu to Lihue was on Hawaiian Air, not Delta per se. The crew was rude, but in the terminal and on board. Didn't really rate food and entrainment because of the flight length.

Cons: The gate for the connecting flight from NY to Rome wasn't posted at the terminal or available via the Delta aps. The Kayak AP didn't have it either. I found out late that it was practially at a different airport. With less than an hour I had to take a bus to a different terminal, walk through, exit onto the street, cross the street and walk down the block to a different terminal. Then I had to re-enter through security (where the line was wrapped back to the front doors). Had the flight not been delayed for mechanical issues I would have missed it. My flights were purchased through Delta. If Delta uses different airlines they should post gate information on their web sites.

Cons: This Lufthansa flight was operated by United Airlines. Coach seating was uncomfortable after a couple hours despite moving around regularly.

Cons: The Frankfort airport is a nightmare. They have loooooooong gateways, so when I Finally got through security FOR THE THIRD TIME, it’s a 10 minute, speed-walk to the gate. Again, a flight delay was the only thing that made the connection possible. I made it to the gate with 3 minutes to spare, so no time for the bathroom, no time to get lunch or even a bottle of water, no time period. And at the end of it all, my bag is lost.

Then it was an older model plane and the engine noise, even though we were up front, was extremely loud! It was somewhat worrisome. The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!

I am upset and think it is not fair that I need to pay for a problem united had with their flight. I also think star Allience failed as they were not able to resolve the problem with their partner airlines.

Cons: My connecting flight to Rome wasn't listed on any monitors, and four people couldn't find Terminal A on the map. Fortunately I found some fellow Americans who also couldn't find Terminal A , lower numbered gates, from our current Z gate. We went to the right, following most disembarked passengers and signs for some A gates....a mess! In the end, we had to go all the way back, past our original gate to a Customs area where they just stamped our passports and onward to our gates. It seemed like the signs only helped if you were going in the correct direction to begin with. Even my German friend said how bad that airport is for directions!

Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs.
Cons: The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing.

They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out.

Pros: Only thing we liked was the fact that we were able to get onto our flight at all...
Cons: Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online.

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. Cons: Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!

Pros: Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you.
Cons: The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. Cons: The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room.

Cons: The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight

Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas.

The actual placement of the seats were aisle row and middle row-so neither of us had a window to look out of or wall to lean against, no overhead lighting or air vent either. Can you say "rip-off?" My husband, who is tall and broad shoulder was constantly being knocked around by the flight attendants and carts. This flight was miserable. I guess I should be thankful for the hour plus delay in departure.

When I asked help to change a seat, flight attendant did not help.

At the airport at check-in I had to wait 15 min to get a boarding pass and a seat allocated as there weren't any available as the company oversells tickets.. that's what they said to me at check in.. When boarding I was told that I needed to check-in my cabinet bag because of the crowded flight, the lady just put a label on the handle of my trolley and said to leave the bag down on my way to the plane.. Thing which of course didn't do... very bad service.. I'll keep traveling with easyJet and reconsider British airways only for a super cheap flight.

Flight attendants came through once with the beverage cart, but only asked the person at the end of our row if he wanted anything. He asked for juice assumed it would be complimentary but it wasn't. They offered to get him a water. The flight attendants did not offer me or the man next to me anything at all. Everyone knows that air travel is dehydrating - I can't believe BA doesn't give provide complimentary water and juice.

Cons: We were never offfered a snack! The people in the rows ahead of us got a snack and the people behind us did as well. Last leg of a 3 flight series of about 13 hours (and overnight), so some coffee and a small snack would have been enjoyed.

Cons: We boarded late, sat on the plane for more than 2 hours (it was uncomfortably warm) and were told we then had to switch planes due to a mechanical problem. I understand this happens, but for the inconvenience BA should give some sort of compensation. After the long wait we were starving, but they ran out of all of the food choices. We were scheduled to arrive at 16:30 but ended up arriving after 22:00. this wasted our first night of our vacation in Rome. There was one passenger in particular who was yelling, swearing and causing a scene because of the flight delay. His rude behavior was rewarded with an upgrade to first class. The message this sends to your passsengers is that we should all be loud and obnoxious when problems arise. I was not impressed with my first experience with BA.

Pros: The staff were all very friendly, and even though we did not get seats together at check in, the gate agent managed to find us seats together which made the trip more enjoyable.
Cons: I was disappointed to find that there were absolutely no entertainment or connectivity options on board a 2 1/2 hour flight. It's pretty much standard across carriers now to have at least internet access and a portable device entertainment option. I also did not enjoy paying for even the most basic beverages on the flight. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks should be included. You'll save a pound, but lose a customer.

Cons: Having to pay for a drink of water was unexpected. Not having to deal with cash for purchases saves the hassle for attendants, but the credit card machine did not work, there was no alternative machine to try after I was told "we have been having some issues", and as a result I was unable to have anything. The associate seemed unconcerned and unapologetic and simply walked away. Poor response.

Also, this is not the airline's fault, but the woman sitting next to me was wearing an excessive amount of perfume, which gave me a headache. I think the airline should make recommendations for passengers not to be heavily scented. As a physician, I worry about patients with RADS (reactive airways dysfunction syndrome) who can develop bronchospasm if exposed to individuals wearing lots of perfume, and a plane is an enclosed space.

Cons: The flight I booked was misrepresented. I thought I was booking a BA flight only to find it was American Airlines. This changed the terminal I was to go to and the gate in which our Italian non-english speaking driver was to meet us at. This impacted seating selection, as well. Was forced to buy a premium seat when I realized the seating chart did not appear when I purchased the tickets. Also, flight was three hours late upon arrival. I understand safety is paramount and am grateful we eventually were able to find another plane, but it begs to speculate if things would have been smoother on a BA plane.

Tiny little screen for movies on the ceiling of the middle row. trays were not clean. We paid extra for our seats and wondered how bad the seats were for those that didn't. My mother and I determined that this was ranked as one of the worst flight experiences we have ever had. We are grateful for an amazing experience for our return flight or we would have reconsidered ever flying AA again.

I couldn't put both feet under the seat in front of me. The food was bad tasting and overly processed. We were fed a lean cuisine. The entertainment was from mounted tv's in the aisle. At this point, all planes crossing the ocean should have individual tvs for a customer to watch. They had this 15 years ago, how do they not have it now.

Cons: Everything else! We were first sold a British airlines flight, and then we got switched to American Airlines. I don't know if that is actually an okay thing for them to do. When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country.

On an overseas flight, I expect in 2017 that there will be on-screen entertainment on the back of the seat in front of me. Instead, the movie was projected on a screen in the middle seats on an overhead that was about 10 rows away. Plus, you didn't get to pick your movie. You were stuck with the selections provided by the airline. I would have brought along my DVD player or laptop had I know this was going to happen. American flight crews are not as friendly and accommodating as European flight crews, which is why I try not to select an American carrier. Seats are less comfortable on American carriers also.

Pros: When we arrived, we found the plane was changed, and our seats were in the middle, and separated. We had paid extra to have window seats.. After speaking to one of the gate attendant ( Arturo ), he went out of his way to accommodate us, and we ended up with great seats. Friendly and accommodating crew! .

Cons: Think it is ridiculous that I had to pay so much to select a seat ahead of time, and it was just a regular seat.
