Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you're seated. It's become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. On my way back I try to check And I was Unable to do so. I arrived to the Airport to find OUT that they cancel my way back too!!!!!! I had to borrow money Again!!!! And stay in the Airport for 8 hrs! This was my experience my lost money time family worried about me and my sister.I had No signal in my phone due to the poor Cituation of this country went I'm able to check my fly with you KAYAK notice the right gate number and time went the plane was living. The attitude of management from Aeromexico was so rude And disrespectful. I will never use them again."

Cons: "It was awful. My original flight was scheduled to depart March 30 at 11:55. Then Aeromexico changed it to 1:35am in March 31. They refused to let me change flights when this happened. I wanted to fly standby on an earlier flight, so I called everyday for 2 weeks to confirm how many seats were left. Everyone I talked to told me I could fly standby if it was he same day as my ticket. I got to the airport and the flight attendant at check in told me “standby doesn’t exist.” When I asked how much it would be to change my ticket, she just said “very expensive.” She told me she’d have to check me out of my current flight and risk me losing my seat on that flight, because it was overbooked just to see the price for the earlier flight. I told her I’d be willing to pay up to $200 to switch to the earlier flight and she told me it was very expensive and she wouldn’t do it. I came back later that night and took my scheduled flight. I carried on my bag from SFO to MEX. On my second flight from MEX to BOG, the attendant told an older woman she had to check her bag because the overhead was going to be too full. I volunteered to check my bag instead so she could keep her bag. Then Aeromexico lost my bag. When I got to BOG, they told me I couldn’t have a voucher because it was my fault for bringing a bag that was too big. Finally they gave me $100 because the next day was Easter and I had no clothes for church. I wasted over 2 hours of my vacation at the Bogota airport while Aeromexico searched for my bag. They said they’d call as soon as they found it. No one ever called. I called and they asked “what color is your bag?” I said “red” and the attendant said they had it. It was delivered several hours after this call despite the fact that the airport is less than 20 minutes from where we are staying. I didn’t think an airline could be worse han United, but Aeromexico steals the cake."

Then, they took our check-in luggage from the plane and it went through an inspection (bag by bag), so this caused another hour delay. After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future."

Boarding crew member insisted I was over the limit (when though at check-in, the staffer saw how many pieces I had and made no comment) and she insisted I had to check one item AND pay the baggage fee. But this was a problem only because it was a full flight, and I was being punished just because my seat was in a tow closer to the front and boarded later, therefore there was less room left in the overhead bins. Also seemed ridiculous to charge for the first checked bag, with most other reputable airlines, there is no fee for the first checked bag for international flights."

Cons: "The whole negative experience started with having to pay for my carry on. Yes, this was my fault for not knowing or expecting the extra $45 each way for my carry on. Water was not given during the three hour flight - you pay for all refreshments! The planes feel like a budget experience with cheap fold down trays and arm rests that slam down making lots of noise, and there is very little foom under the seat to put a small bag. My same small back pack that fits under other airlines seats wasn't even close to going under forcing me to straddle for the the entire flight. I will NOT use Frontier again. The airline feels like Alligeant that costs much less. I'll stick with Southwest!"

They were unorganized and they nickel and dime you to death. who makes you pay for your seat? Frontier. They emailed me five thousand emails about checking in after I checked in. They want to charge you three dollars for a soda. It is not customer service. Having a survey for customer happiness is stupid when they aren't working to make the customer happy. It has become evident that airlines do not care about their customers anymore. I mean if you are going to make us pay for everything then at least be polite. And on the return flight we had to sit for a half hour and wait while they moved another plane that was occupying out gate."

Cons: "Everything else but the actual on air time itself was awful. At ORD the lines were short/fast but the agent was a little rude, it was my first time flying Frontier so I just had a few questions and she made me feel like I was annoying her or wasting her time. At the gate the boarding process was as expected, except I think the gate agent could have done a bit better crowd control, it was really cumbersome to get across the multitudes of people with unassigned seats or later zones that were clogging up the entrance just standing there. The flight was smooth. Upon arrival at PHX luggage took upwards of 30+ minutes to arrive and some passengers had to wait much longer. My luggage arrived damaged. I filed a report at the Frontier desk but their response was to ask me to leave my broken luggage there, take my items in clear trash bag and wait for a voucher. How am I supposed to take my items to a hotel for business meetings in a trash bag? That's not an acceptable solution to a problem I did not create, baggage handlers did it. When I got to the hotel I realized that the items I had on the front pocket of my luggage were tampered with and one item was missing. I was told I could go spend the money to replace my luggage and bring them back the receipt, and then leave them the broken luggage cause and I quote "you can't have it all". What does that even mean? I can't have MY luggage? That I brought in perfect condition and the baggage handler broke? Come on. They did not explain if they would offer a refund immediately upon receiving my receipt, it was all very rushed and vague and I was going to miss my transport so I had to leave. They did not give me a claim number or a number to call back at. Nothing. I wasn't even being rude or loud or annoyed like some customers get when these things arise. I understood perfectly that it was an accident and these things happen, but I still deserved a proper response and decent treatment, since I just paid $45 for a checked bag only to have it be broken. On the day of my departure from PHX I arrived at the airport on time, 2 hours and 15 minutes earlier from my departure. I stood in line at Frontier for an entire hour to check in my luggage even though I had checked in online and already paid my fee. I asked if there was a place for people who already were checked in and a rude airport staff member told me to just "get back in line". After waiting in line for that long suddenly the desk agent yells to all the passangers from a flight to Denver to move up to the front of the line, so about 100 or more people move ahead of me despite the vast majority of them having arrived late. I understand their flight was leaving earlier but what about our flight? How is it reasonable or fair to reward people for being late and make people who have been dutifully and calmly waiting in line FOR AN HOUR standing with heavy bags wait even longer? The whole thing was just terrible!"

Pros: "This was my first flight on Frontier and didn't know what to expect. When my iPhone boarding pass wouldn't work at security I was sent to the Frontier counter and they helped me instantly. The Phoenix boarding lounge was NOT a good introduction with holes and rips in the seats and a "sofa" that rocked everyone on it whenever someone moved.. The gate attendant however was great - and funny. The plane was VERY nice and made up for the lounge plus we made it to Colorado Springs 20 minutes early! The price ($56 including fees and taxes) means I'll be looking at Frontier in the future."

I did not like the fact that luggage is so expensive to check. I could not believe I had to pay for a seat once I had bought my ticket. I thought that was part of the price of the ticket. I all but had to rais my hand and shout out to the attendant to take my order - the passanger next to me had to say something to the attendant on my behalf. I get people at one point or another have an off day - but it was bad a Ly the same on the way on second leg f the trip"

Pros: "When we got to the airport the kiosk was not working, and no one was at the counter. Checked in online, they charged us $45 per carry on (didn't read the small print, because it's so small, and no other airline I've been on charges for carry ons). To check a bag was cheaper, $35 but no one was at the counter. Also, they charged us $20 per seat when we checked in, did not give us the option of a no-charge seat online. (even though we did have tickets) So, I paid an additional $130 for the 2 tickets total. Shabby airline."

I will never fly frontier again after 20 years of flying with them."

Cons: "I am not one to complain, bust SHEEEEESH. Customer service. RUDE. I paid $250 for someone to be rude to me at 5:00 in the morning. I listen to the lady checking bags ARGUE with a mentally handicapped woman(who is crying) because she is trying to charge her $60 for a bag that was free the last trip. The guy helping me I believe helped the mentally handicapped woman get her duffle in the free bag slot, no problem ... I check in go up stairs two hours later same lady is checking tickets, verbally arguing with MULTIPLE people about baggage.. including me, when I was already downstairs and pre approved to fly with my bag. She made us all get out of line and either pay or re check the size of our bag, some people ended up paying while I got to get BACK in line after already waiting to board and another employee approved my bag to fly. This lady is arguing, smiling, but loudly arguing, very rude and condescending like she was better than everyone. I was appalled at the way they treat their PAYING guest.. Like come on lady, nobody wants to be up at 5 am getting on a plane, but that is the job she chose, so no reason to take it out on paying customers. I honestly couldn't believe her attitude."

That being said I was able to find someone who said she could be fired but was able to get me a boarding pass even though it was an hour before the flight left and all I had was brief case with me. On the flight, I had a $2 soda pop, as it was not included. In other words, every possible step or choice has a price. If Frontier comes on top of KAYAK, please read details and ADD UP THE COSTS. After the above 3 items, I DID NOT SAVE with Frontier and should have chosen another airline."
