Would be nice to get a better estimate as to how long it would take to board so that I could hang out in the lounge. In addition, departure from JFK was delayed as well, either we missed the IFR window or got stuck behind some traffic and I fell asleep on the plane only to wake up what seemed an hour later just getting ready to hit V1. No upgrade."

Cons: "My one piece of hard shell luggage has a special, difficult way of latching. As long as nobody opens it, it stays fine for shipping. The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. Such cave men they are!"

Our luggage was then sent down to the baggage carousel at Baltimore. We took carry-on to avoid this. I don't think we will fly Delta again."

When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back."

I work in the transportation industry which is American based and we can handle this much better than Air Canada. Awful... Wendell/Gate Agent said he couldn't rebook my flight until the 31st, but when I got home I called air Canada and she was able to rebook me on the 30th with no issues. Nonsense. Wendell didn't care, he was tired, yawned in our faces like it was acceptable. Awful service. I'm flying with Air Canada on my way from India in the next couple of weeks I hope I get better service. Otherwise, completion will be my only option."

Everyone on the canceled flight had to be aggressive at getting a new flight booked because there was no help. Every time you asked an associate from Aur Canada for help, the passed the problem off not taking any responsibility. If your name is on my ticket, then it's your responsibility. Worst experience traveling by far. Also lost over a day of my expensive trip that I've been waiting to go on for awhile and saved my money for a year. I lost hundreds of dollars in events and hotels. Avoid Air Canada if possible"

Pros: "The ciabatta buns served with the regular meals, looked lovely, as did the regular meat meals. Unfortunately, I ordered the Hindu Vegetarian meal."
Cons: "Usually the Hindu Vegetarian meals are quite nice, but these ones were not. I have eaten a lot of Indian and Middle Eastern food, and I could not identify what this was supposed to be. The basmati rice had the consistency of oatmeal. The first meal was tasteless and the second meal had too much hot spice, but still no flavour. The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."

Cons: "My girlfriend and I booked our flights about 10 months in advance and had selected seats next to each other for all of our Air Canada Flights. Somehow all of these seats were changed without an update to us. We did not sit together at all on any of our flights and were put in middle seats, which is not what we originally requested. We were both very upset with this as some of these were long flights."

Cons: "Was put on standby for a flight I purchased a full ticket to, had to wait for an hour by the terminal to make sure I got a ticket, which meant I had no time to get any food. Would only take credit card on the plane so I went without eating all day. Headphone jack was broken, meaning tv was useless"

Cons: "1. No entertainment on the flight. Not even opportunity to see where the plane is in flight and when we will arrive. No USB charger on the flight. Very outdate plane. 2. The plane was very dirty - trash in between the seat 4. The food was the worst I ever tried on the plane 5. I was very surprised at the very disappointing service. I must say, with all the travel I do, apart from 1 young lade, the flight attendants acted like they loathed being there. It is so disappointing especially b/c I am Canadian so it is a bit embarrassing that Air Canada seems to have such terrible service. 6. The flight attendants were out of a lot of things, I heard them mention several beverages they were out of throughout the flight. I also heard them say that there will be no hot beverages while seatbelt sign is on (which it was a lot). I guess that is reasonable, however, it is the first time I have encountered that on the place. Instead they directed to passengers to come up to the back of the plane to get a hot beverage when the seatbelt sign was off. I did a few times - 1st time they said they were out of cups and to stop by later. But 2nd time had the cups. Did these cups get magically delivered midair or perhaps maybe they just needed to bring cups from the storage on the place and could have given me an option to wait while they retrieve them. 2nd time when I stopped by to try to get a hot beverage, a lady with black hair just gave me an empty cup. The whole experience with this flight was confusing - some attendants seemed not to understand fully what passengers were asking."

Cons: "Any type of line or zones. Fill front then back to front?? Kids first? I still resent the handkerchief guy who sat around then cut into position ahead of people who had stood and waited for a lot longer!! Including me!"

I paid extra money to get to cali earlier and ended up later than I wouldve if i had gone with the cheaper flight."

Cons: "The new policy of charging $25 a flight just for a seat assignment means that it now costs $100.00 just to sit next to your travel companion. I understand charging extra something extra, like a service class upgrade or even some more legroom, but not just to get a seat next to your partner when you booked your flight months in advance. Bottom line: We didn't pay and ended up not just in different rows but in different boarding groups. However, now that we are at our destination, with the $100.00 we saved I'm going to sit next to my spouse at a very nice restaurant, enjoying a fine dinner! Seems like a better use of our money."

Cons: "The flight was 2 hours late. It had apparently arrived late, and then they had mechanical problems. Air Canada gave me some inaccurate information which delayed me in Montreal and made me miss my connection to Toronto. Also, even though I specified to the flight attendant that I was connecting to Toronto before going to the US , they only gave me the US custom form even though you apparently need to fill the Canadian one even if you are just transiting through the country."

Cons: "Got to airport in morning only to find out flight delayed 3.5 hours. No prior notification so instead of waiting in my comfortable home I got to wait at airport. Check in lady was a witch - sorry I made you do your job. Bounced my luggage for being 3 lbs over. Lame excuse of plane mechanical problems for delay. My girlfriend flew same flight 10 days earlier and had same thing happen. If Air Canada has that many mechanical issues I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about them."

Cons: "The fact that because I was late for my flight, my reservation was cancelled. I was not given the opportunity to change my flight at all, I just lost out on the return portion of my travel. I would have been willing to pay a fee to change my return, but not given the opportunity. Had I booked directly with the airline, they would have had no problem making a change. Buyer beware!!! If you don't book directly with an airline, you may suffer the same fate as me! This was an almost $1,300 dollar learning experience. Do not use third party online booking agents! You do not have the same protections as dealing with the airlines directly."

Cons: "The booking and ticketing department for Air Canada messed up quite a bit with our trip overall. It wasn't just one narrow event: even after the delayed flight, and 6 hour phone call to get rebooked, we had to use international roaming charges at the Shanghai airport to call and get them to correct an error they made with our flight out of Shanghai. The flights themselves were alright, but I want to use every opportunity I have to complain about the booking and customer service process."

Cons: "10:30am flight delayed for three hours. They moved my flight to 7:30am and no one told me. Someone claims they did not have my email address. The thing is, I received at least three emails prior to the flight from AirCanada, one was my itinery. So whoever couldn't find my email address must be looking on another planet or something."

Had problems getting a room overnight - management said we weren't in the system. Cons: "The frustrating portion was the airline's lack of desire to fix our problems. The first flight was late because of mechanical issues and then Air Canada was not at all forthcoming in getting us rebooked on the next flight. Something that should have been quite simple involved me having to fight with workers just to get put on a new flight -- nobody wanted to actually do the work."

Also on a 4.5 hour flight they should offer free little snack like peanuts or a fruit cup."

His name is Nasah, a guy from India, drives a white land cruiser. Please avoid them. Use the regular toyota cars that hat TAXI written on it."
