Instead of early boarding I was about the last person to get on board. There was not enough room in the overhead for my cary on. The depart room at the airport was over crowded and for that reason extremely dangerous in case of fire ore some other disaster. People for different flights where in the same room and did not understand this which gave problems at the boarding pass counter control. There is lots of room for improvement. But I am most frustrated about promise JetBlue make about early boarding and not doing this. Thanks, Cornelis de Gier."

Pros: "first of all, the flight attendants were SO friendly, especially compared to United and American Airlines. and FREE WIFI! oh and real snacks not shitty snack mix that United gives. OH and the boarding process! thank you for COMMON SENSE, board the back of the plane first!!!! overall i am very happy with the experience. the economy seats gave as much leg room as the economy plus on United. as you can tell I hate united and have been flying with them a long time."

Cons: "I came 40min prior to my flight and found out that it was too late to check in my bag. I rescheduled my flight for $50 fee to make sure I get in in time for my meeting. When I went inside, I found out that my original flight got delayed and was leaving only 15min earlier than my new flight, which then got delayed for another 45min...disaster. Essentially, I paid extra $50 for nothing. In fact, I would have been on my original flight and gotten to my meeting in time had they not had you are on your own attittude toward customers."

Cons: "I think JetBlue is starting to slip. Our flight was first delayed an more than an hour due to weather. That is understandable. But, then, after we boarded, we continued to sit at the gate. After a half hour or more, the pilot finally informed us that there were problems with the plane's communications system. They called maintenance. After another half hour or more, we were told we had to get off the plane so they could restart the entire plane. After an hour or so at the gate, we were told the problem had been fixed and we could reboard. We were nearly 5 hours late, much of it due to a maintenance problem. This is the second time this month that I've endured substantial delays on JetBlue due to maintenance problems."

We upgraded our seats to the bulkhead (row 1) and while the leg room was OK, it wasn't exactly what I expected. We did get early boarding. The pilot spoke to us clearly and explained the delay, etc. (due to weather)."
Cons: "The Internet was barely working (and I count on that during a flight). The sound was terrible for the video/audio (using my own headphones). My biggest issue was that my boarding pass on the app was incorrect -- I changed my flight from May 17 to May 22 but the boarding pass still said may 17, so I had to get a paper pass from the ticket counter. This was after I called JetBlue, and they supposedly fixed the problem. The flight was extremely bumpy, the entire way. All this after a 1 hour delay for the flight. Thankfully, we had no connections."

My husband had to keep calling different #'s to try to get ahold of someone to tell them about our luggage."

The flight to Panama City was a significantly more enjoyable experience, but the return trip was absolutely miserable. After being boarded, we waited on the runway with no explanation for over a half hour. Then the flight staff came through with a very mediocre dinner and drink; however, they never came back for anything else until the customs form, and any attempts to flag them down were fruitless. When I finally got their attention, I requested water, and never received it. It was an incredibly frustrating and thirsty experience."

Cons: "On my return flight we were searched again in Panama City for our connection to the US, and any liquids (even though they were purchased after security screening) were thrown in the trash. I don't actually know if this is a Copa policy, or a Panamanian airport security policy, but it makes NO SENSE! All liquids sold past security have been screened. There is no reason to toss out my bottle of water that I over-paid for in the little airport convenience store."

WHen i told the attendant i was being "rained" on he said...i know its happening everywhere..... he said there was nothing he could do but get me paper towels...they never came. I was very annoyed getting off the plane walking back and forth....it was aweful. and my flight before this was no better i am VERY TURNED OFF BY AMERICAN AIRLINES RIGHT NOW."

Cons: "The gate was changed 1hr prior to boarding despite the arriving plane having landed 3hrs prior. So with stroller and infant in toe, I had to run to change terminals/buildings. There was no assistance or prior warning regarding this from the check in staff and I made it all the way to the original terminal and gate before having to turn around. The desk staff at the gate was asked about early boarding for infants and said it would be okay but didn’t give clear instructions on boarding so I sat down and they began boarding each group 20 minutes later and did not give priority to mother’s with infants. The stroller which I brought to the gate was then tagged incorrectly with a white tag instead of a pink tag. I was later told by he crew that it meant it would go directly to baggage claim instead of being brought to the door. According to the crew, all staff know to tag with a pink tag. At every step there was blatant display of inconsideration that made an already difficulty journey, that much more challenging."

Most MIA staff was very rude (this wasn't American's own staff, or TSA, I should note). American stripped my group of our seat assignments (which we had selected 6 months prior) without reason and with minimal apology. No solution offered. Got middle seats but luckily was able to switch on one of the computer kiosks. Flight crew didn't seem to care that other people moved to the for-pay seats further up front (the flight wasn't full)... so why did we lose our seat assignments and get grief with not being able to select anything good? Not impressed."

Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with ."

Cons: "American switched pilots last minute, so all passengers sat waiting in our cramped seats for about 15 minutes while pilots got situated in the cockpit. Then it was discovered a preflight mechanical check hadn't been done. So we all sat for another HOUR waiting for the mechanics to arrive and do their work. The flight attendants were unpleasant and rude."

Pros: "I appreciated the interactive screen on the backseat, which provided me entertainment watching Doctor Who and playing Angry Birds. I also liked that the power outlet to charge my phone was more accessible on the backseat instead of below my seat, which is normally where I find it."

At worst, I've seen 1 seat have such a device, so it was quite disappointing to see 2 seats with them, including mine."

Cons: "I understand delays happen and are sometimes out of your control. However, customer service is something that you can, should, and must control. I witnessed a lack of self control of the American employees (including a Supervisor) and every point of my trip w/your customers. I was embarrassed for the American executive team."

Pros: "Much more legroom on this flight, even though it was a smaller aircraft."
Cons: "Gate agent seemed a bit overwhelmed. Helpful, but not overly friendly. In stark contrast to my earlier flight from Charlotte to Memphis, where the gentleman was extremely pleasant and cheerful."

Cons: "I was charged $45.00 for one carry on bag and $55.00 for one cargo bag. I was not aware that I would have to pay to carry a bag on the plane. When I returned to the Dallas, TX airport I was not charged for the carry on bag."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing about this experience was enjoyable."
Cons: "I was flabbergasted about all the different fees associated with my flights. What a rip off, not to mention the airline staff are some of the rudest people I have ever met. I will never fly Spirit again."

Cons: "Some how they did something wrong when they put my information in the computer for my return flight departing from Ft. Lauderdale. I was not able to check in and print my boarding pass ahead of time. I called the customer service line twice to confirm that my reservation was intact even though I could not print the pass. At the airport there was no "bag drop" so everyone from all Spirit flights had to wait in a line that was 2 blocks long (no lie.) It took 45 mins. to get to the counter. Once there no one could seem to figure out what was wrong and it didn't seem to be a priority for them as they were putting out quite a few other fires. I stood at the counter for another 45 mins. They finally were able to print my boarding pass. Thank god I was TSA approved or I would not have made the flight. That did not seem to bother any of their employees. They won't be seeing me again!"

Cons: "Was difficult for the person that was supposed to pick me up to find me at the airport."

Pros: "I liked the price of the ticket. I was looking for an inexpensive ticket without the bells and whistles and Spirit fit those requirements"

Cons: "every effort to get more money from the consumer. make sure to read the fine print on all details of expences before you buy the ticket."

Pros: "Flight attendants were not friendly AT ALL. Baggage fees were highway robbery. Charging for a carry on?! Charging an extra $55 for a bag 3 pounds over the 40 pound limit?! Absolutely ridiculous. Never. Again."

Cons: "check in process was confusing- one airport you had to pre-print, the other you didn't, no cell phone tickets allowed. There are higher fees for carry-ons than checked bags. Didn't like the attitude/marketing at all. I've flown other no-frills carriers but these guys just rubbed me the wrong way!"

Pros: "All went well. We took off on time and landed 9 minutes early. Our bags came out shortly after we got to baggage claim. The bags were not damaged in any way."

Cons: "Most airlines offer a drink and a small snack. nothing from your airlines and your flights are not that cheap. plus you only allow 40lbs per bag, most airlines are 50lbs and they dont charge more if you pay for the bags at the counted. They dont make you do it prior to getting there. you have too many fees. I even asked for a cup of ice because my throat was dry. they said I had to pay for it. sorry..... that is B.S."

Pros: "Extremely low price and waived baggage fees for active duty military made our first Spirit flight wonderful. Attendants were friendly once on board."
Cons: "Downfalls were limited legroom, the baggage check line at DTW took over an hour and many kiosks were broken and could not print boarding passes."

Cons: "I was charged an extra $50 to check-in my bag at the counter! Quite mean! I wasn't preinformed!"

Cons: "Everything is an addon Leg room is cramped The crew will let you know that nothing is free. Jokes were bad and stewardess was hard to understand even though this was a US only flight they put a foreign speaker."

The only way they will give you a cup of water is if you pay with your credit card. They don't even have Wi-Fi or any entertainment for you plain ride. The seats don't recline . They are a scam I will never use their airline again or anyone I know. They sell their tickets for cheap and hide all the hidden fees and cost. I give them a 0.0"

Pros: "The only thing I liked was the price. Which, in fact, was a rip off once you add in all the extra fees (check in, baggage, seat option)."
Cons: "The customer service was horrible. The attendants need more training on how to treat and talk to customers. My luggage was lost on the way to Los Angeles so they need to take better care of that. Also, simple things like offering beverages, at least water, should be offered."

Cons: "Rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff. No accommodation for cancelled flight. Had to wait on the airport for 12 hrs and then bought a ticket with different airline at a very high price. Response from Spirit Airline was "you can get your refund back" for one way."

Cons: "- Two & 1/2 hrs delay. Sat in the jet for 1 1/2 hr more before took off."

Cons: "-paying extra fro luggage -annoyed that people carrying on strollers were not charged. I have traveled with children many times. While bringing clothes is not an option, bringing a stroller is an option and should incur a charge."

Cons: "Flight was canceled and moved a day they were flirty rude and in accommodating"

Pros: "Employee was polite on phone."
Cons: "After purchase of ticket, there was a charge for a seat. Also baggage fees were different on website, phone, and counter. Website ($45 carry on or $55 checked) phone $55 carry on or $65) checked counter ($100 carry on). Website wouldn't take my info so I had to phone. I will never use this airline again."

Cons: "They changed the gate and only sent us about this change just a little bit before the flight. A lot of us did not know about this and had to run around asking other people to get to the right gate."
