Cons: "Plane seats weren’t cleaned well. I wiped my chair, tray, window and wipe was all grey/brown dirty. Yuck! Very disappointing jetBlue. You used to be my favorite but no more. 2.5 hour of delay to pick someone special to board the plane. Ridiculous! 2.5 hour of delay and excuse was navigation not working you have to pick paperwork however picking paperwork took 1.5 hour? You think people will believe this while you get this special person to just walk in and board the plane on the (exit) seats 4 rows had been kept empty just for him. I demand my money back. When going home, I received a similar text with a delay warning and a new arrival time. It was the arrival time at the destination airport not the travel airport and I arrived 30 minutes after the flight had left and had to scramble to find a flight a different airline because Jet Blue had no one there and nothing leaving for over 24 hours and that was to NY not Ca. I can say I will not fly Jet Blue again nor use a booking service again, I will take my chances on my own!"

One could make the argument that it’s less safe as well, seeing how there’s no one IN the exit row to help open the window in the event of an emergency. I like Jetblue but this policy is likely to keep me from flying them if I can fly for just a bit more $ and have comfort."

Then after a while when going to the restroom i asked the male steward if he would have a pen please, he pointed out they dont have any pens. ( please note he marked on his check board, who is getting which meal on the first class)"

Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

The seats in the Airbus flight from JFK to HEL were a bit uncomfortable. The layover in Helsinki airport was boring because there were no stores open in the terminal and there was almost nothing to do for 3 hours.

Secondly the refrigeration on board for food was broken thus spoilong the food so we only received one meal on an 11 hour flight which we were starving and not what we paid for during this flight. They did offer snacks but when not having a full meal as paid for it is a huge let down. Thirdly why is Wi-Fi not offered on this flight. Due to the late departure and late arrival we missed my connection to TUS and was not able to make calls or email during the flight. Not acceptable. Very unhappy and will never be flying with British Airways again. I WILL ALSO NEVER LET FRIENDS AND FAMILY FLY WITH THEM. An airline as prestigious as BA needs to work better at ensuring the minimum on offering wait we the customer pays for and this did not happen. Staff was amazing and very friendly but we were very dejected and felt that your brand suffered a lot with this experience. I do hope to hear from airline about this incident as my wife and I travel constantly."

Then we sat on the plane 2+ hours duew to tire needing replaced, then the air was not working so it was terribly hot and stuffy, then the movie system was not working. Wish we could have gotten off plane during delay. Long flight to begin with, sitting for 2 extra hours was not fun. With all that being said, I am glad they took care of the issues and that our safety was first. Once we got in the air, a very good flight!"

Cons: "Checking was horrible. It didn't allow the printing of boarding passes so the lines were LONG and SLOW. Staffing not sufficient. After finally checking in and getting through security we realized we had to walk from terminal E to terminal A for the flight...not a short distance. And supposedly only 10 minutes until boarding was completed and doors closed. We raced, not stopping to grab a snack or drink thinking we could get something on the plane since the flight was 3.5 hours. Got to the gate and found this incredibly long line to board. The gate agent ignored those of us who paid for zone 1 boarding and just told everyone to board. We finally boarded and got comfortable, taking off about an hour late. After all that, the flight attendant announced that they had no food or drinks but if anyone wanted a bottle of water it was $2.99. Will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "I felt like I was on an amusement park ride. Tiny, hard seats Ok for a 3 minute joy ride. Tiny whiff of a tray, not big enough to hold a laptop, but wait, you can't open the laptop screen anyway, no space at all to work: elbows bent, screen facing down. Basically you take this airline if you are OK with a bus-like experience that is shorter and cheaper than riding the bus. The bus takes 1 day, 5 hours, and 20 minutes for USD $153. Frontier (door to door) takes 6 hours (2 hours in air, 2 hours each city for airport and ground transfer time) for USD $49."
Cons: "My fiancé and I have both had awful experiences with Frontier. Both of us have had so many issues with our flights being delayed with no real explanation, apology, or compensation for our inconvenience. This most recent time I was supposed to get to my destination by 8 am and didn’t end up getting in until after 6 pm. The time before I was delayed for 12 hours before they finally decided to cancel the flight. You REALLY cannot expect anything. It’s a cheap flight and absolutely nothing more. You also get charged for every tiny little thing- including your carry on. My fiancé and I have never completely written off an entire company before but we will truly never fly Frontier again. I’d rather pay double the price to fly with a different airline than save a couple dollars and fly with Frontier. Good riddance."
Cons: "I clicked a button in error, called immediately to resolve the issue and was told that I would need to pay MORE than the flight cost to change to a different time that was an option in my initial inquiry. I was forced to buy two one way tickets one of which is the exact return flight on my abandoned round trip. If you can help me get a voucher from Frontier for my abandoned flight, that would go a long way for me to use Kayak in the future. If not, I doubt I'll be back. Very disappointed, this was the first time I had an error where I really needed help and there was none to be had."
Pros: "We were a little early, which was nice."
Cons: "The flight attendants spent most of the flight giggling at the front of the plane, and had to stop and restart several announcements after saying the wrong thing or having to take a break to stop laughing on the intercom. They also gave me a credit card pitch over the intercom, which was really annoying. The plane was pretty dirty, my tray was really gross with white stuff all over it, and the trash in the bathroom was overflowing, so I had to stuff my paper towel in there to get it to fit. I just wanted a cheap airline, but they split up your group unless you pay extra, and you have to pay for EVERYTHING, including any drinks or snacks. Bags were expensive. I ended up paying almost $700 on a flight that was supposed to be about $450. $21 each way per person to sit with eachother, like $50 for a single checked back each way, blah blah blah. Poor experience, and it was MORE expensive than the other flights with bags and seats included. The lines were also extremely long with only a single person at each stand in each airport."
Cons: "It showed in my booking that I can carry a Carryon bag but had to oay ectra 50$ for the same as only a personal item was allowed. I found the service totally unsatisfactory. The website shouldn't make false claims if they cannot adhere to it. I will definitely avoid using this for my bookings again."

Pros: "Simple check in and boarding process albeit a poor process for boarding"
Cons: "With no first class or priority seating, it makes no sense to board the plane from front to back. It creates a jam of people just standing around waiting for those in front. The flight itself was fine, seats don't mean back at all, leg room is minimal and they don't fill in emergency row seats unless you pay $50 for them. Other airlines require they are filled before they fly. This particular flight was very, very warm and stuffy. The air that was blowing from above us was warm/hot the entire flight. Most of the passengers were sniffling and/or coughing by the end of the flight just because of the heat. Maybe it's a ploy to make people buy their overpriced beverages..."
Pros: "Yes the crew is normally fine but where I feel most complaints about staff come from out front at check in and at the gate. I downloaded my pass online so I can only speak to the gat for this trip but both of the crew I felt with far more personal than normals (they actually seamed to smile). I still almost missed the flight because they forgot to actually put me on the plane even though the app gave me a boarding pass that got me past TSA. They also have new bundles that make buying a drink more worth it."

Pros: "It was cheap!"
Cons: "It was cheap. You get what you pay for... I had forgot that there were absolutely NO additional frills with this airline... You get one cup of water and absolutely nothing else. The staff was a nice as can be expected, but didn't look like anyone wanted to be there. And when my husband asked for some hot tea (thinking it would be complimentary - it was not), they got very frustrated. But I would guess they're just victims of their circumstances, so no hard feelings... Still, wouldn't recommend unless you're on an extreme budget."
Cons: "Absolutely awful experience. Arrived 3 hrs ahead of time to check luggage and the line was wrapped all the way around the airport. No one working to direct the lines. Only 3 people working to check luggage the week before christmas. Almost missed our flight because the line was so long. Was advertised as some free seating options but when checked into flight 24 hr ahead of time had to pay $16 a piece for middle row seats at the very back of the airplane. Flight was delayed 3 hrs because one of the flight attendants did not show up. Will never fly frontier again."

Cons: "One of the single worst travel experiences of my life. There was a winter storm in Oregon that resulted in me getting to the airport at 6:13p, Three minutes after the 45 minute time limit to check in at the counter for Frontier flights. The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 6:55p. There were already other people there trying to check in and no agent to be seen, thus it seems improbable that somebody was there at 6:10, which is when they were supposed to wait to check people in. Due to the storm, the flight was ultimately delayed until 7:30p, so there was plenty of time to get at least some, and perhaps all, of the thirty plus people who showed up after 6:10, but before 6:30, onto the flight. At 7:15 THREE Frontier agents came to the counter and began working to reschedule the people who were trying to get on flight 784. If ONE of the agents had stayed behind at the gate, this could have all been obviated and we could have gotten on the flight no problem. Instead, the first available flight that they offered to reschedule us on was Saturday, 12/17, and that was not a guaranteed departure. The flight we were supposed to leave on was scheduled for 12/14. It is unconscionable for the Frontier agents to not realize that at least a third of their plane was missing and would be showing up late to check in due to adverse weather. Like I mentioned, all they had to do was leave one agent at the counter to help people out as they arrived, or have a functioning computer system so that we could print out our boarding passes from the kiosk instead of seeing messages instructing us to check in with the phantom agent at the counter. This is just my personal nightmare experience with Frontier. After talking with people after this experience this is apparently common. How they stay in business operating like this is beyond me. Never Again! Consider yourself warned..."

Cons: "Lack of communication I went to the gate to find out my gate was changed. Got to new gate and gate was changed again. 1st flight I went to the counter and the lady there did not call out the gate had been changed. Once I inquired she laughed and then it was like someone hit her on the head and she went oh yeh... Then called it over the PA. At 2nd gate same thing except another passenger inquired and then with her loud voice announced it... Not the person at counter. Flight home oh good lord, people who took our seats were drunk and they were very loud and rude. Guy next to me was drunk and oh my very crude.... Flight attendants ignored the guy next to them and me about the behavior. I finally had to smack the guys hand off my leg and yes it was reported to the attendant who did nothing. Oh and I had tried to check a gun and the guy broke my case, my husband came to get gun and I was told I did not get my $ 35 back for the checked item??? Would like my money back for that one Worst flight and communication ever"

Cons: "Yes they have the lowest fares. But, you pay anyway. The offer nothing! Carry on is more expensive than checked. $35 and $30 respectively. They don't even give you a 1/3 can of soda like other airlines do. Fly ALASKA. Free carry on and I'm pretty sure (not positive, but it seemed like) there's much more leg room for a standard ticket."
Cons: "The carry on price isn't included when you buy your ticket so i was hit with 55 dollars in bag fees both way. Not to mention the fact that we were delayed on the runway because the crew just didn't show up to the terminal, but baggage was also late to the terminal by over an hour. Everyone was also promised a flight voucher and i never got one. Beyond upset with this flight."

Cons: "There are hidden costs (checked and carry on bags plus reserving a seat) which make frontier not as affordable as they appear. The seats are very uncomfortable and now they have no real tray tables anymore (except in the first 3 rows--which you can pay extra for). Additionally, the checked luggage has taken up to 30 mins to arrive on multiple occasions. Frontier has become a terrible airlines that cares more about their bottom line rather than sustaining the customers who are responsible for their bottom line."

Cons: "-$30 (at least) for ONE carry-on. Some people had a personal item only. I then noticed that at boarding, the attendent didn't seem to be checking people's ticket and wether or not they had a carry-on. ಠ_ಠ -When you check-in online, they make it look like you have to pay for your actual seat. ($13-30) I was shocked. However, I realized later that if you scroll down all the way, there's a "skip" option. Turns out, you're paying to reserve a seat, versus them automatically picking one for you later. ಠ_ಠ I was a little upset when I realized this. -my tray table was the size of an ipad mini -they've shaved a few inches off of everything, so it was a tight fit. -everything but water costs money. Soda is 1.99 for an 8 oz can. -no tv, no headphone jack in the arm rest."
Cons: "My departing flight ended up being delayed for over three hours. I did not receive one single notification letting me know it would be delayed. Apparently Frontier's system went down. I understand that is out of their control. However, as I sat at the gate, I was not given a SINGLE update as to why or how long our flight was delayed. The gates next to us seemed to be getting updates about every 30 minutes. The flight was supposed to depart at 9:15pm and the FIRST update they announced was past midnight saying that there was a mechanic on the plane fixing a broken seat. We ended up leaving at 12:15 am. I did not get to my hotel in Portland until about 2 am. It was by far the most frustrating experience I've ever had with an airline. I've been a frequent flyer of all airlines for over 20 years....."
Cons: "Frontier cancelled my flight about a week out. The customer service reps I dealt with were slow and alothough they offered me a $100 voucher, they input my email wrong so they couldn't send it to me. When I tried to rectify this again at the airport with another customer service rep, they tried to send me the voucher by email but I never got it. I was told to call customer service again, but at this point I've spent over $100 in my own time in trying to get the voucher. I wouldn't want to have to fly frontier again anyway."
Pros: "I like that the crew worked well together to keep the flight on time."
Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable, and there was no complimentary beverage service. Nothing says appreciation and welcome than some basic service."
Cons: "Frontier has a ton of hidden fees...including no free drinks/snacks on the flight, fee for carry-ons. Seats do not recline so you're stuck in 1 position the whole flight. Tray tables were the same size as an iphone."

It was very uncomfortable and I don't plan on ever flying with Frontier again!! There was no entertainment so not sure why that question is even there."

Cons: "Our flight was 3 hours late. This would have been okay, if we had been able to find any information regarding our flight from Frontier. Everyone was just waiting around the terminal, and had no idea our flight was delayed. Pretty frustrating."

Cons: "When I arrived at the airport (pdx) I was informed immediately that I would be refunded. I knew before hand, via Google, that my flight would be delayed so I checked in at the counter to make sure I would be able to make my second flight from Denver to San Antonio, when I walked up to the counter, they asked for my name and then golf me I would need to be refunded. At this time, I tried to find out if they had another flight to San Antonio only to have the woman helping me ask "do you want me to refund the money or not? I'm about to press send." I'm sure that had the flight actually existed, I would be able to give a better review and I don't really want to mark down the crew for something, I imagine, was out of their control, but I can't give them any stars as my interaction with the staff was very limited to just the ticket counter. I will most likely NEVER fly with Frontier again based off of this experience."

Cons: "First of all, when I went to check in I discovered that there was a $40 fee to carry a bag on. I was very upset about this, I booked through kayak and had no indication this was the case. Had I known I would have spent an extra $20 and bought a ticket from a better airline. Honestly I would like to be compensated this money.... what happened to transparency in flight fees? From there it only got worse. The plane and staff were terrible. The seats didn't even recline and were horribly uncomfortable. I booked a redeye planning to get some sleep but it was impossible. This was hands down my worst flying experience ever."
Pros: "The independent (contracted, non-fronteir employees) wheelchair assist personnel were excellent."
Cons: "Everything. The young lady who checked us in at the ticket counter should be fired. Rude, uninterested, snotty and unhelpful. Employees at the gate, did not help us at all, and I was in a wheelchair, with a cast on my leg, carrying a crutch and a small bag. No assistance getting on or off the plane. And, the stewardess did not assist me to store my crutch for the flight. Simply pointed at the overhead bin. Using the overhead bin annoyed everyone around me it took up so much space, and it was a full flight. The seats were terrible,no padding, I sore after an hour and had to stand on and off for the duration of the flight."

Cons: "Frontier is the WORST airline! Hidden fees for everything imaginable. We paid extra for the "extra room" exit row seats and they were less comfortable than the regular seats because they don't recline and had less cushioning. At DIA Frontier only has one baggage carousel that they share with Spirit Airlines, so we had to wait for our bags with 6 other arriving flights. Then the baggage carousel got jammed because they over filled the belt. Stayed at the airport an extra hour and a half after we landed to get our bags."

Cons: "They lost my checked bag and exhibited poor communication between members of the baggage team. They lost bags from more than one flight. I filled out a lost baggage form and went home. At that point I had to call them repeatedly over 3 hours before they would answer the phone. Finally they said they had the bag and would deliver within 6 hours. Right now it is the next morning and the bag is not yet delivered. The boarding process had me--with a window seat--board AFTER the 2 other people in my row got seated."
Pros: "I liked the price and the fact the flight was nonstop and relatively short."
Cons: "I rated the service poor because upon boarding the plane and sitting down, I noticed my 20 yo son somehow did not make it onto the plane. This became concerning when it became apparent that everyone had boarded and he still did not appear. I approached a flight attendant about it, letting her know that I was concerned that my son had not boarded. Her response (apparently because I was not hysterical) was "well you don't seem too concerned about it, so I won't be." I was very taken aback by this and ended up - with another flight attendant's permission - leaving the plane to find my son who it turned out was held up at the gate for a reason that was resolved."
Pros: "Safely from point A to B. Didn't have a POS terminal at the lavatory, which will likely be next."
Cons: "Loss leader fare, $35 per checked bag, $40 per carry on, but mostly having paid apparently only for the privilege of standing in the aisle, to have to pay extra (anywhere from $13 to $50 per seat assignment) to sit with my loved ones rather than just random seating. Seats so tight, that don't even lean back, felt like one of those chickens in the trucks on the freeway. Doing the math, this fare was actually more expensive than choosing an airline that actually serves human beings. As stated above, at least we didn't die, but at such levels of "economy" I was not confident that we would even survive the trip, thinking that the the pilots must be of the same quality. Please use a more honest business model, until then, we will not use you again."

Cons: "When you check in online, Frontier makes it seem as though you must purchase a seat or there's no guarantee that you will have one - even though I selected one during the reservation process. Only beverages for purchase were made available."
Cons: "Flight was delayed. I got 6 different emails with 6 different times. I called the frontier phone number to change to a different later flight. While they were willing to do so , I was told if ours did get cancelled we would be put on that flight probably anyway. I was told that staying with that flight I would be compensated with a voucher. I told him the gate agents said they didn't do vouchers. He insisted that they were going to die to the great inconvenience. We finally departed after a 3+ hour delay. Sure enough, NO vouchers, just a "sorry for the delay" as we got off the plane when our flight was done."
Pros: "Newer seats, so I guess that could be counted as a plus for this trip."
Cons: "Ticket counter person in PDX was very rude. Our seats were 'upgraded' for a red eye flight, behind one screaming baby for 75% of the flight, and another next to us that constantly was kicking us. The male air flight attendant enjoyed to hear himself talk so much, that between him and the amplified screaming baby, sleep was not possible. I asked for water, but since that was the only free thing, they were out of it and the male flight attendant sound get me some of their was time before we landed....that was 25 minutes into a 3 and a half hour flight. In his defense, I did get my water just before the plane started its descent. And the last point, girlfriend's brand new suitcase was covered in him when we picked it from baggage claim. Instead of just refunding us the baggage fee, no, we now have a claim open for Up to $50 to get it cleaned. Spend the extra $100 for ease of mind and fly a real airline."

Cons: "Worst airline ever. You nickel and dime us to death for every single thing, including just to sit on the plane and have a bag, and the new economy type seats with the tiny tray are very uncomfortable. The crews are rude and treat you like trash for not purchasing extra or applying for the stupid credit card. You can't hear captain announcements, rough flights and landings. Unexplained, multiple delays that inconvenience all the way around. TSA harasses you in front of everyone about even just having a regular size duffel bag. I can't even list everything. It was the worst flight experience I have ever had and I will never fly Frontier again."

Cons: "The entire process felt like a money trap. I got these tickets because it look like an affordable way to visit family, but every step of the journey had surprise fees, from selecting your seat, to checking luggage, and even having a carry-on bag. Literally every other airlines I've ever been on offers at least one complimentary drink and a bag of bad pretzels, but Frontier charges three dollars for a bag of bad pretzels and and two more dollars for a drink. When it turned out that I had to pay for the seat I just went and paid for one of the better ones and even those are massively uncomfortable-- there's slightly more legroom but even the "premium" seats have almost no padding, don't recline, and are uncomfortably narrow. Overall I won't be flying Frontier again."
Pros: "Boarding the plane was nice and we arrived about 20 minutes earlier than expected."
Cons: "I wasn't aware that I had to pay for a carry-on and seat placement until I checked in for the flight. There was no complementary snacks or beverages, you have to pay for everything. It was a bit warm even though the overhead fans were on and the seats were really hard to me and sat up to high. Overall I felt really uncomfortable especially with this being my second time flying, but first time flying with Frontier. I probably wouldn't fly with them again unless the price was right including the cost of luggage and seating. For the price that was paid I could have flown with another service and have everything mentioned above included with comfort."

Cons: "This was by far my worst and most rediculous experience when flying Frontier. I've been to the Portland airport before, so I'm aware the security line is never too long, so I figured after dropping off our rental car getting in the airport at 7:00 when our flight leaves at 7:40 was no problem. We arrived, to check in and check our bag and the kiosk said see attendant. Only problem was, there was NO ATTENDANT even at the desk! They put up a sign that said check in desk closes 45 minutes prior to take off. What kind of airline closes check in desk before the plane leaves?!? We tried to get help from other airport attendants, who agreed we had plenty of time to get through security before our flight took off and thought that was rediculous as well. There was even a man who said he was at the check in desk at 6:40 (One whole hour before take-off) and no one was there to check him in. Finally after easing 45 mintues trying to get a Frontier attendant paged by Airport Help Desk, we all missed our flight. Finally a Frontier attentant came around, and said she couldn't do anything for us and we would each need to pay an additional $99 a piece to re book on another flight!! It takes a lot for me to get upset, but when I know I could have made my flight like 4 different times but I couldn't because I couldn't even check in to get through security...that's BS!!! And to be forced to pay an additional $99 to rebook, on top of already having paid for my round trip ticket, just totally proves that Frontier doesn't value their customers at all. I have been a frequent Frotier flyer these past few years, and after my experience, I realize it's worth it to pay a bit extra to fly with people who value you and dont try to scam you multiple different ways to make more money off you."
Pros: "The Crew was great. The pilot was very calming. The co-pilot has a black belt in sarcasm she uses very well, to the hilarity of all. my first commercial flight since i was a child, and it was pretty good. The plane mad excellent time and despite some turbulence, I never felt unsafe as the captain and co-pilot constanty communicated with us."
Cons: "Honestly, nothing thats really your guys fault at all. Im kind of a moose, so the seat wasn't super comfortable. But its an economy flight, what was I expecting? for the price it could be worse."

Cons: "Everything honestly. The clarity of communication was absolutely terrible. We were strung along for 6 hours about a delay they knew was not going to be short. Cons: "This company is a scam. You pay a extra fee for everything Printing your boarding pass that will be $10. oh wait you want to take a carry on bag that will be $45. You want to check in a bag that will be $45. If you do decide to check in a bag or a carry on make sure the demensions and weight is correct there will be another fee for any luggage that doesn’t fit their rules. Make sure you get a drink in the airport ahead of time because once again they charge for standard drinks while on the plane, the extra charges just never stop! In all reality it is not worth the savings in plane ticket because of all the additional inflated prices they get you on."

Cons: "Our plane had to turn around due to technical difficulties which was ok because we made it back safe but the staff handling our rescheduling was clueless. They told us to call a number so we didn't have to wait in line to talk to the counter agent and the person on the phone actually fought with me telling me I had indeed made it to me destination even though I had explained the scenario multiple times and eventually told me he couldn't do anything for me so I waited in line for 3 hours with no answers. Eventually they put us back on the plane we were on earlier."

There was no wind when I got to my destination which made me wonder why the pilot was so out of control with landing. I ended up vomiting on the plan before descending. (for my return flight I took Dramamine and the pilot made me feel safe so no troubles upon return) Also, I did not appreciate that if I needed water, I would have to purchase it. There are not many places in the USA where I HAVE to buy water if I need it."

I should "like" that she printed the boarding pass so that I could skip through the long snaking security line...But she didn't tell me so of course I was in the long snaking security line! And there she was at the gate and she merely smiled when I asked her why she hadn't told me. Such rudeness. All in a day's work for your employee. Your crew lacked the initiative that someone performing a job they are content with would show. So nothing nice to say about your bored staff. What great representation of this airline they give."

Cons: "I disliked that if I didn't prebook my suitcases online ahead of time I'm charged a larger fee at the desk even when I'm a club member with the airline. Then I was told to pay my overage weight fee online and that isn't an option on the website. So when the person at the desk went to charge me she said it was $50 when if I'd have just paid for 2 suitcases online it would have been $10 cheaper. I also think it's crazy to charge customers for a cup of water on the flight especially one that's 3.5hours long. I get the airline is cheap and offers cheap flights but to nickel and dime customers for even water is crazy. The seats were also very very close tofether so that your knees are almost crammed into the person's seat in front of you. My husband use to be in the airborne unit in the military and said those flights with all his gear and no frils was more comfortable than this flight. I highly doubt we'll ever use spirit airlines again unless it's the only option or if it's under 1.5hrs to fly to my destination. I'm not sure I could endure must longer of a flight on their planes."

I am still in the hospital today, tests said no cancer but a virus infection that is being treated with antibiotics. Should be released in a couple days. Can I reschedule the flight??"
Cons: "I didn't like that I had to pay DOUBLE for my baggage which consisted of ONE backpack the size of a carryon. This bag costed almost as much as my ticket. The flight itself was sketchy due to the pilot telling everyone on flight that the plane had an "unexpected error" which delayed one of our flights almost an hour. When the planes landed, it was rougher than any other plane I've been on. Also, my return flight home was CANCELED WITHOUT WARNING. None of the travel agents offer to help find me a new flight home nor did they offer to pay the difference of having to book a NEW TICKET THROUGH A NEW AIRLINE nor offer to help for my UNEXPECTED COST OF HAVING TO STAY IN PORTLAND ANOTHER NIGHT. The agents were rude and not helpful in the least bit. I will NEVER fly Spirit Airlines again."

The other passengers didn't seem to follow the size restrictions as far as carry-on and in speaking with them, I don't believe they actually paid like I did. Could've saved that $100. Wow. I could've taken Jet Blue for the same price with free personal item and carry-on with free snack service AND movie."
Cons: "Told agents that my wife is Russian, but is a permanent resident, so they told me to put the resident card number on her reservation, but did not mention anything about her Russian passport being needed. So once we discovered that we needed my wife's passport, I contacted Uber to pick me up. take me home, so I could get her passport, but, since her reservation was in her married name, the agent had to redo her reservation to her maiden name and we missed our flight. Also, since I had already checked in with one bag, the bag made the flight without us, as it was not in the Houston airport."
Cons: "I will never fly with Spirit again. Their tickets are cheap but they make up for that by charging the highest bagging fees I've every paid. If I checked my bag it would be cheaper than carrying it on! Even though I AM THE ONE DOING THE WORK. Every time I fly with Spirit they increase the carry on price. I flew with Alaska last week and there was NO carry on price and $25 for a checked bag. Not to mention the leg room of their seats is minimal, especially for a tall person and their planes just seem old and run down. Their staff obviously HATES working for them. I've witnessed numerous bad attitudes from their flight attendants towards other passengers. I've had someone be overserved alcohol on a Spirt flight and they puked all over me! The flight attendants that overserved the guy barely gave me any towels or anything to clean the vomit off of my purse and legs. The icing on the cake this time for me is that now on top of exorbitant carry on baggage fees they NOW CHARGE $3 FOR A WATER BOTTLE. This airline is a complete joke and they have taken my money for the very last time. Stay away from them if you possibly can."

Cons: "After being told there was a mechanical issue with the plane (already nerve-wracking) we waited an hour to receive any additional updates. The flight crew then told us that the flight was "99% canceled." After that, everyone in the area got up to wait in line, but instead of helping people rebook their flights immediately, the flight crew just disappeared and never came back. I ended up re-booking with a different airline and had to call customer service in order to have my money refunded for that flight. I did receive two travel vouchers, but I'd rather just have the $100 because I'll never book with Spirit Airlines again. Not to mention the literal 280 emails I received the exact same email update over and over and over again telling me that my flight was delayed until the next day. That's right, they never canceled (as they should have) and just delayed it further and further. If I had just waited around for updates from the delay, I would have had to spend the night in the airport and miss work the next day (which I already had to do because I had to rebook with another airline). Thank GOD I didn't have any checked luggage or I really would have been screwed."

Cons: "We were on a multi city trip when our flight on Spirit was cancelled. The only options were take the flight the next day, get a refund or a travel voucher for another flight. In reality none of these options were acceptable. We ended up having to take the flight the next day which required us to send additional monies for another hotel night and an additional day car rental. Spirit refused to absorb any of the additional costs involved in the delay.They also refused to try and rebook us on another airline to make our arrival at the next stop. Customer service is a complete joke. Spirit did not notify us of the cancellation. Our host at the hotel on our next stop notified us that the flight was cancelled as he received notification from the limo service. This was as we were driving to the airport for the flight that was cancelled. The nickel and dime approach to make up for the lower airfare was ridiculous and petty. We have not been treated so poorly by any airline in the past and we travel frequently."
Cons: "We had a medical emergency at the airport and had to go to the hospital and missed our flight. Our sons needed to go home. The attendant at the desk split the boarding pass and told us we could fly out the next day with a hospital release. I called Spirit to book for the next day and was told it takes 48 hours for approval. I told her we could not stay for two more days that we needed to get home so my husband could get additional medical attention and she said there was nothing she could do. Long story short- if anything goes wrong with your booking on this airline, in which everything is an additional cost, they will not help. We booked with another airline to get home. The Spirit experience was stressful and I would never fly with this airline again"

On our way out of the country - they did not have pens to fill out the customs forms, and told us that if we made a mistake we were out of luck because they didn't have extras. It should be more clear (before purchase) that the price for any bag (even a carry on) is so high - it raises the price of the ticket $100 which is significant On arrival in US they NEVER told us what carousel our bags were on, it was not posted, even on the carousel... it took us forever to find them"

Cons: "The crew was nice but pushy. On both flights they kept focusing on people's bags under their chairs with unnecessary persistence. Then at the end, annoyed everyone trying to sell them the credit card. Both flights were over an hour delayed due to missing mechanic paperwork. The flight was not cheaper then other flights but matched up to the times I needed - (After the delays, not really) and so I booked. Totally forgot I was going to get charged an outrageous amount for my carry-on. This airline is a crock. AVOID."

What they don't tell you is that they charge for carryon and luggage, and are allowed to change those prices whenever and to whatever amount they want. They tried to make me pay to print my boarding pass, and both my flights were delayed one by 20 minutes, and the trip back by over an hour and a half. Both the planes I flew on were old and outdated and they don't even offer water without a price tag. Never going to fly with them again."

Pros: "I am scared of Flying. My son sent me a ticket to spend the First Christmas with his 10 Month old Twins! Although his gift was my Ticket, he still had to pay a substantial fee to check one bag. When I looked at my email from Spirit, I saw that I even had to pay for my Carry-on!! I tried to communicate that to my Son, but he was getting conflicting information from phone calls and Spirit online. Finally, after much angst, He had an agreement that my other Son who spent the days before Christmas with me, would take care of the Baggage fees at the airport when he drove me on his way back to New England, if needed. A substantial fee WAS then needed for the carry-on. Traveling on Christmas, and trying to save money on a flight was my goal when you are being given such a wonderful gift, but it was difficult for me to see the cost go up and op each step along the way, that increased what my sons had to pay on my behalf and the time and communications they had to go through (they are a Doctor and a Professor), in order to do something so nice for me! It is great that Spirit has low fees, but carry-on fees outside of the ticket price are particularly troubling and not being able to have water or my trusted Diet Coke on a flight from LA to MD on a Red Eye without paying for it is extreme! Your Pilots and staff along the way were GREAT and Helpful I have flown many, many times here and abroad, but I have never seen 4 sets of Pilots any better or more competent on take-offs and landings than your Pilots! They have been trained well. I have to go on another trip to OR in July for a special event. I live on a fixed income, and would fly Spirit again based on my experience."

MOST EXPENSIVE FLIGHT TO PORTLAND I'VE EVER SPENT IN THE PAST 10 YEARS. You tack these one AFTER we purchase the non-refundable flight. It's deceptive my friends/family and I all vowed to NEVER FLY SPIRIT AGAIN and we go up to the Pacific Northwest every year. - Plastic seats - the person behind had their knees were against my seat because the space is so small - he felt bad - I felt bad - and there was leftover trash in my seat"

During this time I also made three telephone call to their help line which generated no help. While the upfront cost of the flight looked good..by the time I had paid for baggage and carry one I would have been better off with another airline My advise to all 'NEVER FLY SPIRIT AIRLINES'"

Cons: "For a big seat it was rather flimsy I could feel the persons foot behind me kicking me constantly, there is a gap where the set meets the back rest and their foot kept coming through and kicking me. Every little movement I could feel. There is also an extremely bright LED light in the service area that pointed right at my face and blinded me, it wasn't a little light and compounded my already large headache. Me and the passenger next to me had to raise our hands to shield ourselves from the light the ENTIRE time. Very frustrating."

Cons: "I went all the way though security to find out that (unlike Any other airlines) that i needed to physically print my tickets out so I needed to get out of line and go all the way to the kiosk (the farthest kiosk from security) to get my physical ticket then back through security. But while I was at the kiosk to get my physical ticket printed out the the worker was texting on her phone instead of helping the people out that are in line. I get through security and to my gate and I am getting on the plane for them to tell me I need to pay an extra $50 per person for carry on bags and they were very rude and not willing to help out at all. I told the girls at the gate that they were very rude and that I would be writing a review to their bosses and they told me that it doesn't matter and that they aren't going to do anything different for me."

I had to open up my back pack my carry on and my checked bag and reload everything at the check in counter. What a circus. The ridiculous part of this whole thing is that I still took the same amount of weight with me and all that was accomplished was to make me uncomfortable and make those behind me wait for the show to end. When I printed my boarding pass it said TSA PreCheck on it. I'm thinking, at least I get to take the short line and dont have to get the full TSA "treatment". Well the TSA lady tells me that Spirit doesn't do PreCheck. I pointed out to her that the boarding pass said I in fact did have a PreCheck pass. No go, had to leave that line and go get in the long line after discussing this with the TSA lady. Spirit, really? What a mess!!"

Cons: "No usb outlets to charge your phone. They scare you into thinking that if you have carry on luggage they will charge you an extra $55 each way on their check in system. I took mine and wasn't charged. Upon entering the cabin, it was warm. The air conditioning was intentionally turned off till take off to save money-not a big deal for me but could bother others. At end of flight, we have to shut the windows closed for the next shift to keep it cool-strange. If you are over 6ft tall or are wide bodied don't fly coach on Spirit. Seats are thin plastic and cushions are not forgiving or adjustable. If you are a college student or young family, this airline is your best bet to stay on budget if you have high tolerance. If you are more business/lifestyle/social vacation traveller, try paying an extra $60-$90 more and the travel part will become part of what makes you smile instead of what you try to tolerate."

Then when I was boarding there were no smiles by the crew, the seats were extremely uncomfortable, and I was waiting for a water for about 15 minutes asked a crew member again and she responded with "You are not the only passenger here, I will bring you your water once I'm done with other passengers" and for the 15 minutes I did not see her help a single customer. I am so disappointed in this flight that I am not flying with them back, instead I spent just a bit more and will fly out of Chicago with a different airline. Avoid spirit airlines at all costs!"

The amount of money saved wasn't worth what I have ended up spending in chiropractic care afterwards from having my back seize up on me from the uncomfortableness of those seats and trying to sleep sitting straight up! We decided to upgrade to an exit row for the flight home just to have some extra leg room, but still with no reclining of seats (the only 4 seats that recline were already taken)..... the comfort level was not there at all, other than at least our knees weren't bumping against the seat in front of us, like on the red-eye."
