Called Kayak, you guys said you couldn’t do anything. Finally I got some 3rd party phone number I was given by Kayak. I called the number and it was not in service. In all my years using this app this was the biggest disappointment ever!!!!"

Pros: "With all the competition among airlines and the cutbacks we suffer as customers Delta manages to make you feel like you matter still. Timely boarding, actual help with finding seats making boarding efficient (not just hurrying you along), updates from the cockpit that you could hear and understand, multiple choices in snacks-one even a healthy option, staff that was friendly and interested in making it a good experience not one that seemed bothered they had to work."

However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

Pros: "This was our first time flying Delta and it was a very pleasurable experience. Boarding was very straight forward and the seats allocated comfortable. A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime."

The Airbus A300 was a reasonably new aircraft. Everything was clean and looked good. The food was exceptionally good. My wife and I both commented on how good the food was (my wife stated, "it was the best airplane food ever"). The main meal, the hotbox snack, and the late in flight chocolate ice cream were ALL good. The staff were great, friendly, service oriented, nice people."

But from the moment we boarded the flight attendant was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for help putting a heavy bag in the overhead compartment. She half-heartedly tried and then told me it "didn't fit". By simply turning it on its side, I was able to easily make it fit, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to do so while also holding my baby! The flight attendant then commented that I couldn't have the child in a carrier during the flight (something I am well aware of!). She also neglected to offer us a snack later on. Overall, she was rude and inconsiderate and made a difficult trip more unpleasant."

Pros: "I could not sleep comfortably at all. I have slept on airline beds that were extremely comfortable. This seat left me having to shift constantly to avoid discomfort. I also found the crew to be disorganized."

Pros: "The PWM airport, ALMOST makes air travel tolerable. Great little airport. Crew was pleasant, Seemed to enjoy their work. That, alone makes a huge difference in an industry that truly doesn't put customer service anywhere NEAR the top of the priority list."

Cons: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

Once pulling to the gate we waited another 15 minutes for someone to figure out the walkway and open the door tom the plane-- all with no communication from the crew."

Cons: "i decided to purchase a separate direct flight at a different time instead of changing my flight, only to be informed later when i tried to hop on the back end of my original flight, that they had canceled my ticket since i hadnt boarded on the front end of that flight. i had spoken to a customer service rep about my option before purchasing the extra ticket, and she did not mention that this would be an issue. then i had to pay extra to get back on my original flight."

WHEN I BOARDED THE PLANE I COUNTED 7 OVERHEAD STORAGE BINS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO MY AISLE WHERE I WAS SEATED WERE NOT FILLED AND THERE WERE SEVERAL SUCH BINS ON MY SIDE OF THE AISLE (I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO COUNT THEM BEFORE I SAT DOWN). I ASKED AN ATTENDANT WHY THIS WAS SO GIVEN WE WERE TOLD THE BINS WERE FILLED JUST AS WE BOARDING FROM THE DEPARTURE AREA. SHE WAS POLITE AND SAID SHE WASN'T SURE ABOUT WHO MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE TERMINAL BUT THAT IN ANY EVENT MY CARRY ON WOULD ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND IN VANCOUVER - IT DID BUT WITH MY BOOK FOOD SNACK WHICH i HAD INTENDED TO USE WHILE ON MY WAY TO CHI. AND VAN."

On my way to the airport in Portland I got a text from United that my flight to Newark had been cancelled and there was no way to fly me out of Portland to San Diego that day. My sister had to drive me to Boston so I could catch a flight to San Francisco, which took 6.5 hours because it flew over most of Canada for some reason AND had three babies that cried from start to finish. Oh and because I was a late addition, I had a middle seat. The second I turned my phone on after we landed I had another yet another text from United saying that my connection to San Diego had been delayed three hours and wouldn't take off until 11:15 pm."

United staff was not helpful and kept telling me to go somewhere else for help. No food was served only tiny packet of way too spicy pretzels. Sat on the runway for an hour. Flight crew said 15 min and it was much longer. Crew seemed to be really confused."

Cons: "Both my outbound and inbound flights were 1 hour late. The tiny tray tables and lack of reclining chairs make Frontier's planes more uncomfortable than others. Being charged for a basic beverage or snack also seems "chintzy" when you've already charged me for my flight + my seat + all baggage."

Pros: "The effort to make up the delay time"
Cons: "Seats. They used to be normal. Now they are too thin on cushion. Perhaps for up to 90 minutes of flight, but for 2 and a half hours were not enjoyable"

Pros: "The crew was great, the prices fantastic and everything whet extremely well. We even arrived in Denver early. The flight crew did a great job of keeping turbulence down despite some conditions that were less than easy to navigate. For a no frills flight, this was fine."
Cons: "I miss the frills although they have them available all at a cost during and before the flight. If you need all the frills I would probably go to a more comfortable venue. If you bring your drink and snack and don't mind not choosing your seat, etc., this will work just fine."

Pros: "Orderly boarding; very friendly flight attendants who REALLY know their craft. Shortly after takeoff there was a medical energency that they handled with expertise and caring as well as authority. The lead flight attendant and her staff worked together like a well oiled machine. this is our first time flying Frontier and it was an excellent experience. We’lll be back! Oh yea, coffee was great, not that awful strong Starbucks stuff."
Cons: "Can’t think of anything"

Pros: "Boarding the plane, getting off the plane, and the actual flight were all pleasant."
Cons: "Frontier’s automated system message regarding the cost of checking in bags/paying for a carry-on bag counterdicted what the actual cost was. I’m just glad we looked into it before getting to the airport, otherwise we would’ve been stuck with their high fees to have a carry-on. We spoke to their main office, but the price quoted on their automated system was never honored. This is my first experience with Frontier, and my last. I’ve never been on a plane and been charged almost $3 for a very small cup of soda and a snack—for other airlines, this has been complimentary, regardless of the distance traveled. Their low fares aren’t worth the extra cost of carry-on luggage and a small sip of something to quench my thirst for a couple of hours."

Cons: "They overbooked the flight and lost my seat and can re-phlegmy not till Thursday had to pay $440 from the ticket"

I opted to cancel and get refund. person helping at check in desk left in middle of handling my request and said next person would be along soon to finish. Said I had been refunded but was in Q for receipt. I asked for my luggage and it took numerous trips to desk to ask where it was and finally 2 . 1/2 hour later I got my luggage but no receipt. It was chaos in departure terminal of people trying to rebook or refund"

Pros: "AFlight was fast and crew was accomdating."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that I was padded down not once but twice at the age of 69 almost 70. Really did not know I was a threat to the airlines. I'm staying with my daughter at Ft.Bragg."

Cons: "This flight was canceled at the last minute and all passengers were told they needed to find another flight because the airline didn’t have any to rebook them on. Passengers had to pay out of pocket for new flights. Frontier said they would reimburse but I haven’t seen anything yet."

Pros: "I LOVED our flight crew. Megatron (aka Megan the greatest flight attendant of all time) was so entertaining. I wish she was my flight attendant on every trip!"

Cons: "Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline."

Cons: "What was supposed to be an easy 1.5 hr flight doubled in length and included waiting for an hour on the tarmac to take off and another wait once we landed"

It was a quick trip and thought a back pack would be okay to carry on.... nope that’s $38, if you pay ahead of time. They charge more at the gate. When you check in they try to get you to pay anywhere from $9 to $21 to pick a seat. Seats don’t recline either. Flight was also late. You’re better off paying the full fare on another flight than flying Frontier. Never again."

Cons: "Delay of 2hrs. Fist you pay for a flight and then must pay for a seat to sit in. Next passengers will pay to use the in flight restroom."

Cons: "Luggage charges more expensive than United. Very little room for carry-on bags. Only the seats in the first 3 rows reclined--and only slightly. No free beverages. I don't care about entertainment but my kids missed it."

Pros: "The price of the ticket was really good. The cabin was clean. The seats are a little bigger than Spirit but I'm only 5'2" so that's not much of an issue for me. Flight to Atlanta arrived and left without a hitch. It was very organized and lifted off on time. Return flight was delayed due to weather at my destination in Houston but we were updated every 15 mins on the status of the departure/arrival time. Wasn't much confusion. Again the plane on my return was very clean. Crew was very nice and informative. Not sure what confusion is about bags from other reviews. Baggage prices are clearly stated on their website that's why the flights are so cheap. Snacks and drinks are not free ob the plane but you can buy those at kiosks after the security check point and bring it with you on the plane. If comfort is not you're number one priority than this airline works for you."

Cons: "It was the most uncomfortable trip I've had on an airplane. I paid $40 for my carry on and was asked to pay extra to choose my seat. I was traveling alone so I opted not to chose a seat but had I had my children and husband with me, I would have been quite annoyed to pay for such uncomfortable accommodations. The fact that the seats don't recline is absurd. The fares look affordable when you are booking but Frontier nickel and dimes you every step of the way once you get your ticket. I'll be taking my business elsewhere when I purchase my next ticket."

We were offered another flight 7 hours later in the day, on the other side of the country with a layover so long it would have gotten us into DC the next day. One passenger was charged a change fee and got a flight out two days later. Not sure who has the time or patience for this."

Cons: "The plane had by far the most uncomfortable seats I've ever been in. They might as well have had metal fold-up seats. I paid extra for a specific seat, and when another passenger took it, a flight attendant gave me a hard time when I asked them to move. I was unaware that I'd have to pay $40 just for a carry on until AFTER I booked the flight, in which case I would've just chosen a better airline."

Hippos cheap rates by we tack on an extra $60 for a carry-on and an extra $20 each way receipt you are not cheaper than any other Airline and I will not be flying you again. The only reason I picked your airline or will pick your airline in the future with me because the time smashed out with what I was looking for. But your prices will no longer sell me because they're not realistic and full of pork"
