The Netherlands has restricted the entry of travelers arriving flights from outside of the EU, who are not nationals, residence permit holders, or long-stay visa holders of EEA Member States, Switzerland, or their families. From December 15, travelers who arrive from a country that is not on the EU ‘safe countries of origin’ list and who are exempt from the EU travel ban applicable to the Netherlands will need to produce the following documents:
An official negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours and a rapid test no more than 4 hours prior to arrival. Children under the age of 13 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result.
A completed and signed Negative Test Declaration.
In addition, to the existing requirements for travelers, travelers from Ireland, the UK or South Africa must also show a negative result from a rapid test (antigen or LAMP test) or PCR test. The test must have been conducted no more than 4 hours prior to boarding the flight. Children under the age of 13 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result. The test requirements do not replace the requirement to self-isolate for 10 days upon arrival.
Travelers must be in possession of printed versions of both the negative test result and the declaration. It is not acceptable to show a digital version on a phone or tablet.

She went back to gate and little while later came back with a comfort seat. Some people seem not to have shown up as the seat next to me stayed open as well. It was very poorly handled."

My checked suitcase arrived with a different flight. United shows complete disregard of their passengers. I believe I overpaid for the tickets considering such a service."

Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff."

Which got changed between the printing of the boarding pass and the walk to the gate. The flight was fine. Just getting to the flight was an adventure. Then I forgot my neck pillow."

Cons: "A very obese man sat on my side and took half of my seat. The crew ignored me till we were on the air. They were very unprofessional. They found a seat for me. I approached them and told them that I was willing to pay half of a business seat, just let me go. The crew was unwilling and threanned me by returning the plane before it took off. I was not treated with respect. Next Tuesday I will fly back to Los Angeles with air Canada. I am sorry but this experience has taught me to fly no more with your company. Rabbi Moises Benzaquen"
Pros: "I was given an upgrade to Business so what not to like. The meal I chose was a strange combination that I would not recommend - lentils with chicken and a few carrots. The crew was great."

Thank you for the pillow and blanket - that made the night flight much more comfortable. The crew were all professional and friendly. I appreciated how quickly we boarded and exited the plane. The staff made this very quick and efficient."
Cons: "Every time the male attendant walked by he brushed his hand along the overhead luggage compartment. This woke me up from my sleep over a dozen times. It was fine once or twice but became very annoying. The zones at the gate were very crowded and too close together. They were also right beside the food vendors and made it nearly impossible for other people in the terminal to easily walk by. The seating area was overcrowded and had more seating with computer hookups than without. It was also not kept tidy. Compared to other airports this was by far the most disorganized and least clean."

I had to run to my gate to make my connection because it took over an hour for my checked luggage to be approved so that I could go through Customs. I was not the only person who experienced this problem. Several people on my flight missed their connection, and several still waiting when I left were in danger of missing their connection. I have flown on other airlines through other cities internationally and never experienced this type of issue."

For economy tickets, the level of comfort was adequate, but the seats didn't return to upright easily and the entertainment screen took a whole load of taps before it responded sometimes. A reasonable level of service for the price, and the plane was on time."

Cons: "I flew with 1 child and 1 infant and there was no help, not at check in, not at boarding nor from the crew on board. I requested a bassinet before the flight over the phone and didn't get it. There was an issue with the infant ticket and the United check in agent was incompetent to fix it, which made us late for boarding. No one helped me at boarding with taking the stroller from me. On board the crew members were annoyed when I ask for some hot water for a baby bottle. And it's sad that children don't get a kid's meal ( which we received flying with many other airlines) and have to eat the uneatable adult meal. That was my first and last time flying with United."

Cons: "This flight was on United. So, there was no internet to purchase as the emails from Lufthansa claimed there would be. I woke up in the middle of the night and went to 3 open seats and laid across them. It was dark and I did not realize that I had moved to Economy Plus. The flight attendant told me that I should not have been there, that she could have charged me for the difference in the seat. Prior to this I felt pretty good about the flight. There was no reason for her to treat me that way. It was apparent that it was a mistake and not done purposely."
