Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Crew was very helpful Everything was on time"
Cons: "Very bumpy ride (not anyone's fault) Very uncomfortable seats"
Cons: "Give complimentary water"
Pros: "Crew was good but baggage claim took forever. The seating was not well arranged. The seats were very uncomfortable. The weight limit of the bags were unreasonable"
Cons: "Better seats could be better"
Pros: "The passengers were spaced out, so we could actually social distance."
Cons: "Not all passengers wore masks. During a contagious pandemic. What the actual hell? Also, the tray tables are too small to use for anything, and we didn’t even get a free drink. Water and soda are so cheap, it’s absurd. I’d never take Allegiant again if they weren’t basically the only airline operating out of my town’s small airport."
Cons: "Great price. Wonderful flight. Seats are so close knees touched the whole flight."
Pros: "This crew was amazing"
Cons: "The seats are very hard."
Pros: "Crew was amazing"
Pros: "The crew was fantastic!"
Cons: "I wish there was at least a free beverage."
Pros: "There was nothing outstanding really"
Cons: "It’s a low cost airline, so expectations are very low. Plane was very dirty because it just keeps on hopping back and forth without any cleaning service it seems"
Pros: "Crew food. Seat small little leg room."
Cons: "Plane on time. More leg room."
Pros: "Great crew. Good on-time flight (early, actually). Smooth boarding."
Cons: "Standard no-frills gripes. Seat is tolerable but basic, no recline. No power, zero inflight entertainment, etc etc. They won't even give you a sip of water for free, which is just absurd in my opinion. They did give me a free cup of ice... so I guess ice + time = free water..."
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "That we landed safely in 20 mph winds."
Cons: "Stop stuffing too many people in an airplane, stop charging for every little thing, nothing nice or fun about flying in the US.It is just the fastest way to get to places..International airlines are much better and not cattle planes."
Pros: "Allegiant knows how to get people off and back on the plane ASAP. The last few flights I have taken we left early and arrived earlier than planned because of this. Crew was friendly. I like the fact the flights are direct and no layovers at airports."
Pros: "All wa great"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Boarding is always a pleasure out of Provo, with no security wait and a pleasant crew. The plane we took was a newer model, and is similar to many Fronteir and economy Delta planes. Unfortunately that means that even a short one-hour flight leaves pains."
Cons: "Our ride was very turbulent, whether that’s due to weather or pioloting I’m not sure. Either way it would have been wonderful to have a free cup of water. Sat for de-icing for about 20 minutes before takeoff."
Cons: "Delayed flight"
Pros: "Stewardess moved me to a more comfortable seat without me asking."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "initially assigned to center seat."
Pros: "Crew was very friendly, very polite unlike the United flights I have taken. I was told the space would be uncomfortable but it was absolutely fine for the short flight."
Cons: "No beverage service. Not even water is offered."
Pros: "Great airport for getting to Florida. Good prices"
Pros: "The flight was delayed for almost 4 hrs, but the staff was excellent. From the check-in agent, the gate agent, the flight attendants and pilots - everybody was upbeat and helpful."
Cons: "Just the continual delays, but the mobile notices were so helpful in not coming to the airport for a delayed flight. As always, the fact that the seats don’t recline makes the trip more uncomfortable."
Pros: "Great airfare, great staff, etc. Cant help that the passengers are idiots ! Love this place."
Pros: "Quick flight and overall nice crew."
Cons: "None"
Cons: "Lost my bag"
Pros: "Could,nt Have went any better."
Cons: "I attempted to check in online and was unable to do so. Bad app."
Pros: "On time and very efficient"
Cons: "Was assigned a middle seat. I am a small woman and had absolutely no room."
Pros: "Mostly the Price! Wonderful Crew Too!"
Cons: "Wish they had flights on Friday and later on Sunday..."
Pros: "Cheap."
Cons: "Both departing and return flights were delayed by just over 5 hours."
Pros: "Both ways were good flights. The return flight however was delayed. We did enjoy buying some tickets from a lady named Valerie in Des Moines who also later had to come on the plane and remove an intoxicated woman. She made everything so easy and simple and enjoyable. And we especially enjoyed the treatment that we received as my husband is a veteran. Thank you so much for that."
Pros: "The view through a milkey-filmed window."
Cons: "Airplane would have been nicer and lighter if the 4 attendants would have cleaned it."
Pros: "Great cost. Boarding and crew were seamless and pleasant."
Cons: "As with all airlines, it has all the comfort of a cattle car. No drink service - even water cost you money."
Pros: "Being on time and the crew"
Cons: "The chair is not reclining"
Pros: "Considering the fare was advertised between $350 and $700 with other carriers on Kayak, I took this one for $179, roundtrip, direct from LAX to Grand Junction."
Cons: "When the crew runs to get coffee in the terminal, make sure to do the same. I brought some snacks, but wish I had brought coffee. The man next to me kept creeping into my space which was incredibly annoying, but it was a relatively quick flight. Beats the two day drive from L.A. to Colorado."
Pros: "Food"
Cons: "Not enough options and what was available was pricey."
Pros: "No Frills Business Travel Good price No hassle Everything on-time and efficient. A choice if I want extras including baggage, seat assignments, etc. Airport convenience"
Pros: "Easy boarding, smooth flight, quick cart service, fast flying"
Cons: "Seats are so small I was window seat with two men who were jammed up so uncomfortably in their seats I felt bad. I was cramped cause they had no choice but to spill over in my seat. I understand safety is important but unless the plane is in middle of taking off or landing, or horrible turbulence anyone should be able to use the bathroom. We had landed and were just sitting and waiting on a gate to open. My fellow travler happened to be on her period n was told No she could not use the bathroom. After the 3rd time of her being sent back I got up with her and a tampon in hand n told the staff they had no choice she was using that bathroom. Of course they had to phone the captain and ask for permission which he ok it, but seriously , what are we supposed to do just sit in our blood. That was not cool."
Pros: "Flight crew was very kind"
Cons: "The security crew made me go through security twice and made my girlfriend and 15 month old daughter stand while they searched her bag"
Pros: "Very clean, great staff, smooth flight, easy boarding. All the things you could expect for a great experience. First time flying with this airline so I didn't know what to expect but it was great!"
Pros: "The stewardess remembered us from the previous flight and was awesome to my son!"
Cons: "Kind of bumpy and a little late."
Cons: "Delayed the flight for 7 and a half hours. They then tried to not refund my money"
Cons: "everything was poor"
Pros: "I liked how friendly the staff were and how everything was done on time."
Pros: "Highly recommend"
Pros: "I am a little disabled... Am in a electric wheelchair, can't speak very well, this was my first flight alone and my chair would not lock in upright position after unfolding it. (If I leaned back on the backrest it would collapse/fold up. I learned I had to lean forward to keep it up.) Everyone was very accommodating and very helpful! At the Provo Airport they gave me a regular wheelchair and I showed them how to remove the lithium battery, remove and stow the joystick and how to fold my chair. No drinks or snacks unless you pay for them. On arrival I waited for everyone else to exit but also took advantage of the lavatory to relieve my bladder ;-). They were waiting trying to unfold my chair. I gave them instructions to step there and lift on the arms and up it went! I showed them where the joystick was, they pulled it out and connected it to the arm, put the battery in the bag, plugged it in, zipped up the bag and I pressed the green button and Voila! it was done! Thank you to the Awesome Allegiant Crew!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed an hour for "paperwork". Can't be helped by the crew, but an administrative errors are just as bad."
Cons: "Plane was an hour late."
