Cons: "(1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Pros: "The flight attendants were professional and polite, I requested low-fat meals and they were good, the entertainment was very good, the air temperature was comfortable, most flights I had were on time."
Cons: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."

Pros: "The flight was on time. The crew was very accommodating. The food is better than some other airlines. The entertainment provided had a lot of choices I had an 8 1/2 hour layover in Doha. They booked me a short stay in a hotel at no extra charge. This included a car and driver to and from the hotel. It was a nice hotel close to the airport."

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

Cons: "I had a 22 hour layover. On the website, Turkish Airlines advertises they cover hotel rooms for anyone with a layover exceeding 15 hours. However, it's impossible to get a e-visa to allow Americans to leave the airport to take advantage of this. There is one hotel inside the airport, however it's extremely expensive and booked well in advance. While the service was decent on the plane, inside the airport the TA employee's were very rude and not at all helpful. So be prepared to spend the night on the floor or an uncomfortable bench. Won't fly on this airline ever again."

I would advise figuring out a way to efficiently process groups without having to split them up by gender."

Pros: "This is a government run airline with very poor customer service. I flew 6 flights in December, 2016 in business class - out of which 5 flights were late. There was no help at the transfer desk in Istanbul to get onto another flight as my connecting flight was missed because the original outbound flight was late. The customer service staff both at the lounge and the transfer desk were inept and rude and did not want to help. I shudder to think how economy passengers are treated."
Cons: "1) No organized boarding process - there is a general melee at the boarding gate with a lot of shoving and pushing. 2) Customer service staff are rude, incompetent and unhelpful 3) No recognition that customers are to be served 4) Food selection in business class was mediocre and poor 5) Old aircraft - on flight from Istanbul to London, business class was 3 abreast with the middle seat being used as a tray table. 6) Sleeper class is mediocre - seat width is poor and one cannot even turn on the side"

Cons: "I was supposed to be given two boarding passes through my check-in but I was given only one. This caused a lot of confusion on the Istanbul Airport. The staff there we unbelievably rude. They caused two passengers (on separate occasions) to miss their flight right in front of my eyes due to no apparent reason. They plainly refused to cooperate with passengers."

Pros: "If you are flying Turkish from the US or from Istanbul to the US or other far away destination, for the love of God, do not fly on the B777-300. Did that twice from Chicago to Istanbul and back, and the seats in economy are a real killer....very tight and uncomfortable. On the other hand, if you have a choice of Turkish aircrafts b777 vs AB330-300, you will do yourself a favor by selecting a flight on an AB330-300. Slighter smaller plane then the 777 but a little more comfortable in coach. So you are warned......and by the way, you will select a two seater combination rather than being stuck in the middle.....If you are stuck in the middle, always do your best to get at least an isle seat."

Cons: "While the plane was a Dreamliner, the quality of the seats, and the space in the seats didn't fit the the usual Dreamliner quality. The toilet facilities were terrible ... urine on the floors that made them sticky and horrifically stinky. Only two food service events during the 13 hours ... the first was OK, but the second was really sub par (a sandwich and a granola bar only)/.The available entertainment choices of movies were really lacking compared to other airlines. My first seat assignment had to be changed, because the man set to be sitting next to me began murmuring and cursing when he found out that I was to be next to him. My second seat assignment had me sitting in front of a man, who angrily refused to let me recline my seat at all, because it would crowd his leg space. Therefore I had to sit perfectly straight for all 13 hours of the flight. There were no other aisle seats for me to switch to. Most airlines offer eye shades and earplugs for the long haul flights. Not this one. Both were needed on this rather noise, chaotic flight. I guess you get what you pay for ... the cheap fare is not worth it. I don't intend to fly this airline again."

Cons: "my bag was held in amman. when I was going through customs and my bag didn't appear, I approached a team member who already had my name on a list of people whose bags were delayed.. Would have saved me some time if they called the names of the passengers with delayed bags so we wouldn't be waiting for the bags to appear. I don't know if this is an issue specific to the flight crew or to the airline in general or to the airport but it did cause some grief on my end."

Going from Chicago to Amman I was seated in seat 16A while my husband was placed on the other side of the airplane in seat 17K!! On the ride back, I was in seat 13A and my husband in 30C!!!!! Prior to check in and during check in, I was informed that I was not able to select our seats, and that we would just have to arrange seating ourselves once we were on the plane!! A week prior to leaving Amman my husband called rj and talked to a representative who changed our seats."

At no point did anyone say "hey, be a parent and keep your kids in check." The staff seemed kind of lazy and annoyed Just generally a mess of inconsiderate people and the crew not doing their job."

Cons: "As I boarded the aircraft I snapped a photo of my seat. I was yelled at by the manager in front of at least 30 passengers, that it is not allowed to snap any photos on board. Clearly this is a made up rule as all social media accounts are blasted with peoples photos. As well- I work in aviation over 8 years and have never heard about this rule. The fact that he choice to stand on the other side of the aircraft and yell at me, instead of walking up to me and explain nicely was not acceptable. Later I’m the flight, I suggested to him that proper procedure is walking up to the person instead of yelling across, my just that he didn’t apologize, he even replied with a very nasty comment. And this was the flight manager. What I can say for sure, is: NEVER AGAIN FLYING ROYAL JORDANIAN!!!!"

Cons: "My daughter and I asked to move to have more room on the flt to change to a different row the flt was not full at all. The crew said they needed the last 2 rows for themselves which I understood until they pulled out all their bedding and lyed down to sleep each taking a full row. I have never seen this befor on my extensive travels. We were only offered fluids to drink 2 times with meals on a 12 hour flt from Jordan to Chicago. I thought this was poor service and not health for the passengers. My meal was the same both times with small amounts and poor quality. I noted it was much better on the way over along with the service. I assisted with a medical emergency on the flt being a emergency room nurse and I did feel the staff was great full I was able to help. I am sorry to say I will choose air France in the future."

RJ -Amman gave us 2 weeks ahead of flight oyr set seat K19 and H19 when we arrived 2.5 hr ahead of boarding they told me you have 2 saparet seats.. I told her that my Mom is sick and that I have already sets seat she told me I dont know this is what you have now then i asked for supervisor /another lier who told me that they have no seats and after waiting she gave us 2 seats by each other .. I told her my Mom had problem in her back n knee and I need 1st raw for her she said the dont have while when we boarded there was 1 empty seat in front of us whole flight ....they come from culture of friend and family comes first.. so they give and keep seats for their friend and family ...such a shame.. My Mom suffered from burning and nummbing the whole flight and arrived Amman sick .Will never choose RJ again ."

Pros: "I loved the food - some of the best I've ever had in the air! There was a plentiful array of free movies and TV shows available for free. There was room to stretch out in the seats."
Cons: "I found the process of the layover in Amman to be confusing. Apparently, I could not get a free hotel for my layover. I tried to use the Crown Lounge as well but was told I could only use it (and pay to use it) during certain hours, which was confusing."

Pros: "Our own tvs. Service was friendly. The tint windows are pretty cool. It did create a quieter atmosphere."
Cons: "We were in the clear tunnel waiting to board and could see the luggage being checked by dog, next thing, the dog lifted his leg and peed on my luggage. I knew it was mine because it's a very bright lime green. Not happy about that. Everyone in the tunnel saw it too. Food was so so. The snack was a joke, a bun with cheese and one tiny slice of a cucumber. Would've rather had chips or pretzels or cookies."

Cons: "I didn't like my treatment in the airport by RJ staff. They had initially told me I would have a hotel to stay in during my layover, but upon my return trip, I was told that I could not get a hotel. They had a policy in place that stated since I could have taken a later flight, they wouldn't compensate my hotel... but I had never been told that, otherwise I would have made other arrangements. I had to be out of Iraq at a particular time, and leaving any later simply wasn't possible. The staff was uncaring, and unfriendly throughout the entire process."

Pros: "I was upgraded to first class because the flight was not full. So that was truly a blessing! And the service was great!"

Cons: "Bathrooms not updated and comparable to some other airlines. Crew can be a bit more interactive and friendly."

Cons: "The phone, ground and flight crew, though impeccably polite at every turn, passed me from phone to service desk to gate for answers to questions about itinerary changes and seating upgrade until I just gave up. I tried changing my return flight to leave from London- that is, simply dropping the Newcastle/London leg, but went back and forth several times between you and the airline- then simply gave up, instead travelling back to Newcastle to then fly back to London. I then tried to change my seating assignment and the desk agent was unable to give any information about the cost of an upgrade. I finally found out that upgrades are to the cabin, not the seat so just stayed with my middle seat in coach for the 8.5 hour flight. It was puzzling that these issues were so impossible to resolve."

Pros: "We left an hour late but were only 7 min late upon arrival."
Cons: "I have a major problem with the fact that we passengers boarded the plane on time, expecting to depart on schedule, only to be forced to sit in our seats for nearly 90 minutes prior to actually taking off. While I appreciate that the pilots can make up for most of that lost time, it doesn’t make up for the fact that I’ve had to SIT captive for extra time on top of the what is already a long flight."

Cons: "Transfering at Heathrow is a stroke-inducing experience. Just getting from one terminal to another takes close to an hour. Add to that sadistic, bossy security personnel, incomprehensible flight announcements (in England!!) and trademark British incompetence -- Brexit can't come soon enough!"

Because of all the uncertainty when they decided to do this, it was not caught until the bags did not show up at my final destination. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY. AMERICAN AIRWAYS AND BRITISH AIRWAYS are huge disappointment to us."

Cons: "Connections to US destinations now require your checked in baggage to be processed before you can proceed to your connecting flights. The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor."

Cons: "No more seats, rescheduled for the next day. poor service"

Pros: "The only person who who tried to relax customers waiting to board was the pilot. Flight was delayed. No updates on monitors, no crew at desk. The pilot was first to arrive and had no information but was engaging and joked with all the passengers just standing around. He was our only assurance that flight was still going. He had same attitude on the plane and seemed determined to get us home eventually."
Cons: "No communication from airline. The flight was delayed but we only find out because we show up to gate and nobody is there. No counter agents. When they eventually show up, there is no explanation. Just acted like everything was normal."

Cons: "At the gate, we were told our plane would leave soon. An hour later, they announced the flight was cancelled and we were briskly escorted out of the terminal, told to go through customs and pick up our luggage, which had never even made it on to the plane. They were not re-booking flights at the airport, and the phone lines went to a voice mail message telling us to call back in a few days. I was stranded in Toronto with no phone and no where to stay. It's a week later and I still have not heard anything from from, even though I've called and emailed and sent snail mail."

Cons: "no entertainment and poor seat selection"

Cons: "I arrived at the gate and looked at my ticket to see "GTE" where the seat number usually is. I was informed upon arriving at the desk at the gate that that meant Air Canada has also decided to participate in the ridiculous practice of overbooking their flights and that even though I purchased my ticket roughly 8 weeks prior, there was a chance I might miss my flight to my friend's WEDDING. The lady who was working the desk was as unhelpful and dismissive as you could possibly imagine, refusing to look at me and giving me attitude for merely waiting in the area to see if anyone had missed the flight so I could get on. It was surreal; the only way I could describe her incomprehensible behavior would be to say it was as if her boss were right in front of her and she was trying her damnedest to get fired. It was one of those situations where you could tell this miserable, miserable person was enjoying the power trip she was on and doing everything in her power to make me feel helpless and angry. I made my flight, miraculously, but it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life, airport or not."

Cons: "The flight took off late but most of the lost time was made up during the flight time."

Cons: "First flight was canceled, they did not get me on a flight till 4 pm the next day! Not to mention the two French Canadians I talked to were extremely rude. Finally the 3rd customer service women tried to get me home sooner but was unable to!! Have flown for years on air Canada without issues but this last trip was such an inconvenience I will not being flying with them agin!! They also did not cover my hotel or the taxi costs associated with me having my flight canceled, not even a discount!!!!!"

Cons: "They didn't have enough room for my carry on so they forced me to hold it on my lap for the entire flight. When I asked if it could be checked, they said no. This was a big safety hazard which shouldn't be overlooked."

Pros: "The flight itself was fine."
Cons: "The flight left really late, which meant that we had to rush to the next terminal when we arrived in Chicago for the transfer flight."

Cons: "Four hours of delays."

Cons: "Kiosk option wasn't supporting the baggage check policy, resulting in passenger were unable to print baggage tag and had to wait in long line over 1.5 hrs to check bag with staff. They also understated. It took me over 2 hrs to get throug check in process, not counting 45mins + through security check and custom. I had asked staff to expedite the process. C my flight was boarding. Staff could care or less and walked away. I had to run to my gate and almost miss my flight. Also, I was told that 1st checked bag was complimentary as this is a express aircraft. Staff wouldn't honor that. Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff."

Pros: "The staff rocked it, despite being in a tough position with grumpy passengers. The desk staff before boarding was less helpful. The seats were comfortable. Entertainment was rated low because it was a short flight it really should have been an N/A because I didn't use it. Not sure how to fairly rate that. No food as far as I could tell."

Cons: "My trip was suppose to have two stops from Saint John to Louisville (one in Toronto and one in Chicago) but instead it ended up being a one stop flight from Saint John to Toronto to Cincinnati because I had to change my whole itinerary due to delays in air canada flights that caused me to miss my other connections. This made me to fly into an entirely different city and have my reception drive to get me for the only other option I was told by an air Canada representative was to take the delayed flight and miss my last connection and overnight Chicago (one of my original connections) and then fly to Louisville the next morning. This was not something I planned on doing and didn't have the time to do so had to find an alternative arrangement to get me close to where I needed to be. The first flight I was on from Saint John to Toronto was also delayed causing the flight to be late upon arrival at the Toronto airport. Not only that but then had to wait in line at the customs center for over an hour for only one customs officer was there to clear over 100+ passengers. Even if my other flights were on time I would have missed them due to the delays all around. Over all I was very displeased with how the day progressed, how I wasn't given much help from the air canada representatives at the airport other than them saying "there's nothing we can do" and for how the day continued to get worse with delays and problems all linked to air Canada."

Cons: "AC373 on 07/23/16 - need I say more? Having an airline background and now the HR mgr of a very large hotel chain, I understand many things that are out of a companies control, ie: weather etc, but....never have I witnessed airline staff YELLING at passengers "it's not our fault and the agents need to leave so they don't go into overtime?" Yes, some passengers were difficult, but it's part of the industry. If you can't handle w/care and service - don't choose as a profession. Very unimpressed with AC's customer service, guest recovery - they made it seem like it was more of an inconvenience for them. Can't imagine "choosing" to fly AC again!"

Pros: "Nice plane, decent seats."
Cons: "Delayed flight. Luggage didn't make it on to the aircraft in Toronto. Only 4 agents working the counters with a line of about 80+ or so people trying to check in with no supervisor present to make things better or get more counters open. Security didn't stamp boarding pass so had to go back to security check point to get boarding pass stamped before boarding. And it is no longer "random selection" when you get "randomly" selected for extra screening every time you travel from Toronto!!!"

Cons: "Moving through security and customs in the Toronto airport was incredibly slow, with 4 or 5 checkpoints, all with lines. Staff were polite but there were not enough of them. We almost missed our connecting flight, and our bags apparently did miss it, because they have not yet arrived in Chicago (see previous comments). Air Canada should have seen the problem in terms of timing with the connecting flight and expedited better. Will try to avoid Air Canada in the future, especially if there are connections in Toronto."

Air Canada is the least flexible airline in the world relative to refund."

Pros: "Tv in all seats, individual air controls, the crew was nice and I offered up my bag to go on the checked bags when asked and it was the first one out on the bagged claim"
Cons: "I'm 5'8 and my legs hardly fit when sitting straight in the seat"

Pros: "was forced to spend the night in Toronto because Air Canada didn't seem to know that there would be a huge crowd at the airport that evening. I was told as I exited my flight that I would not make the connecting flight and I had to spend the night in Toronto. I will never fly Air Canada again"

Pros: "The crew members in both the flights were amazing. they seemed like they enjoyed their job. Its not very common at Air Canada."
Cons: "The flight from Chicago to Toronto was delayed by half hour. But the boarding gate agents did not even mention the delay."

Cons: "Team in Chicago at Baggage Services was not helpful."

Pros: "Overall it was good. The crew was very friendly. The plane was small and it was a short flight, so everything else was average as expected for a short flight."

Cons: "It was a United flight and everywhere it said it was Air Canada instead of United. Hopping terminals and running through them last minute is not fun. To top it off the flight got delayed a ton of times and messed up our schedules completely."
