Cons: "where should i start? my flight was delayed leaving NC to ATL. after standing in line for over an hr trying to speak to someone about the issue. i was notified on my phone i could keep my current flight or rebook of course i wanted to keep my current flight since it was my birthday weekend. i then called delta (in nc) for help since they told us we wouldnt make our 1030 flight and we might have to stay in a hotel that night until we could rebook the flight. not cool! i was told by a person (in nc)about what i should do once landed in ATL. they were beyond rude. they turned their backs or gave half answers. when asked about the hotel for the night they told me they werent going to handle that and i had to pay for a hotel AFTER i was just told by a delta agent that if i had to stay overnight my hotel was going to be covered. i then again called a delta agent in ATL after being informed that my status on the stand by list wasnt activated and i had less than 10 mins to make it to the next terminal and try to get activated and i would probably not get onto that flight to leave ATL. we were told that we had to stay in the terminal that night. my whole trip could have been ruined from the start from the flight being delayed in NC to talking to rude delta agents in NC and ATL. my flight status being one thing and then finding out it was something else. i never had to deal with something like this."

But, when we landed, as passengers were trying to get off of the plane, the attendants were putting all of the collected luggage at the entry to the jetway. It created congestion. Then, anyone who had luggage, had to lineup against the side of the jetway, awaiting their luggage, and increasing the congestion. First, it was inconvenient. Worse, if there was any kind of emergency, I believe it would have created a unsafe environment. Very Poor Design & Process ! ! !"

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

I will never fly Delta again, particularly with them being one of the priciest options."

Was not advised to try standby on other later flights, which worked. Finally landing in BOS, we sat for 45+ min waiting for a third person to flag the plan to the gate. Understand why, but really annoying after such a long day full of delays. Felt many areas could have been handled better. Each person individually tried, but in aggregate it was a mess."

They announced this and gave the other passengers the opportunity to walk to an area to watch the very solemn ceremony. It was all done with respect and handled timely. The flight still left as scheduled and arrived on time. Not that this was the most important part. Even if it had caused me to miss my connecting flight, the ceremony for the fallen hero was more important."

We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

We had to pay $280 to rent a car and I drove all night and went straight to work without even going home to shower or get ready or anything. My 4 and a half year old son had to endure the whole thing too."

I have flown many times and this was by far the most uncomfortable flight ever! I will never fly again if this is how planes are going to be."

I purchased our tickets months ago, checked in 24 hrs before, and did not check bags, but we still had to stand online and keep reminding the gate agents that we did not have seats and that my three year-old had a car seat that needed to go in a window seat. Once on board, the first clas flight attendant was awesome! She helped us fix a seating nightmare (agent had given my 3 y/o a seat by himself) and came back to coach during the flight to give my son some wings and to just check on us. She and our safe arrival are the only aspects of the entire experience that deserve any stars whatsoever."

They even made smart remarks about people going to the bathroom when we pulled back in... I feel some of them acted extremely unprofessional and I truly never want to fly with this company again."

Cons: "The disorganization checking one check bag. I arrived in plenty of time. Very long line to check the bag (no skycab available). Majority of people in line arrived with only a short time before their flight and had to be rushed ahead of me to get to their flight on time. I finally arrived to the front of the line after about 45 minutes and 50% of the people behind me were on flights leaving in 30 minutes or less and had to go ahead of my husband and I. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

Cons: "I contacted Frontier about a week before my flight to let them know my friend I was flying to visit had to make an emergency trip to see her father who was dying of liver failure. On the first attempt I was notified that only immediate family members were would be an excuse but that I could try to request through a different faucet of emergency circumstances. I put through another request and was never contacted. I did not fly to Salt Lake but I was still charged even though they could very well have sold my seat to another person and made double the money for the seat. I am very disappointed with the service I received from Frontier."

Cons: "It was not clearly stated that carry-on luggage would be charged $45 per item. This is an unusual policy and should have been clearly and prominently stated when purchasing the ticket. With my wife and I this added $90 to our combined ticket price and we would have flown a different airline had we known this. It seemed like a trick to get folks to pick a cheaper ticket only to make up the cost at the door what an individual would have paid for a competing ticket."

Pros: "I was shocked to find out we had to pay an extra $16 per seat and $35 per checked bag after booking the flight. Between kayak and Frontier, they have mastered de-bundling and "the bait and switch" concepts. They got us this time....not good for building customer loyalty. So long kayak and Frontier."

Cons: "Too many extra charges, reminded me of Spirit Airlines, which I no longer fly for the same reason. And there was little to no space around my seat - the seatbacks do not recline, the tray table is a small shelf. I was not comfortable for nearly 3 hours. :("

Cons: "My flight was cancelled around midnight the night before. I fell asleep while on hold that night because it took so long. I finally reached Frontier the following morning at which time I was told I would be given a refund for my flight (on Nov 22) or I could take their next available flight to Detroit on Nov 26. That is completely ridiculous. Essentially, the morning of my flight I was in the Trenton/Philadelphia area, refunded $100, and told good luck. I asked about some sort of future flight credit as compensation since I was left with the prospect of booking a flight on a different airline THE SAME DAY that I was supposed to fly. Frontier offered zero assistance with this and said that they could not, per company policy. I spoke with a supervisor who also said that they could not, per company policy. This is a ridiculous policy and terrible business. It will not take long for other customers to have similar experiences and cease flying Frontier. At the very least, a flight credit on Frontier provides compensation for the fact that the airline is completely abandoning the passenger with zero notice to book an alternative flight and no assistance whatsoever in finding an alternative flight or offering an alternative Frontier flight, AND providing such a travel voucher would promote additional future flights with Frontier instead of driving customers away!! This is extremely poor customer service and bad business. To top it all off, every single flight on Delta and American Airlines out of the area on the same day Nov 22 was ON TIME and ZERO of them were canceled, yet my Frontier flight was canceled for "uncontrollable reasons" cited as weather. Are Delta and American Airlines subject to different weather than Frontier? I have flown Frontier a great deal the past year and was looking forward to more flights as they have great deals on flights for a route I travel often from Detroit to Trenton. I also enjoyed my in flight experiences on previous flights. It is unfortunate that I will not be able to fly Frontier anymore because I simply cannot support a company with the ridiculous policies and lack of foresight detailed above. Thank you."

Cons: "The first few overhead bins were reserved for the 1st row, and so while I was in the 2nd row and boarded quickly, I had to go back several rows to stow my bags, along with many other people. This created a domino effect which greatly slowed down deplaning at the end of the flight. Row numbers and seat positions were also poorly identified, leading to some confusion among a number of passengers."

Additionally, the seats are small and the person next to me was too large for their seat and pouring into mine. Having to pay for seats is a ridiculous feature as well. I have already had to purchase a ticket and pay to check my bags (even a carry on which I elected not to do). Nothing was even complimentary on the flight either. Sitting for three hours in pain in half of what was already a small seat is enough for me to never want to fly Frontier again no matter their prices. Additionally, I will likely suggest to friends and family to select another aircraft if they can afford to."

Cons: "I had a terrible experience from Denver to Detroit today. Our flight to denver was delayed and thats understandable because of weather, but the flight to detroit was extremely uncomfortable. I sat in the window seat and could barely move to get my laptop out and once I got it out to do some work I couldn't even see my screen or have a place to set it. I ride coach on a monthly basis and I have never had this issue. Not only was i suffocating because of lack of space, but the temperature was outrageously hot. The second I got off that plane I seriously thought of never booking with Frontier again."

This email was sent to me 5 minutes before the delayed flight was scheduled to take off. Spirit said that they could not help me at all and the issue ended up costing me $370. I will not be flying with Spirit ever again."

Knowing this would take more time, I arrived 30 minutes earlier to discuss the matter. It wasn't an easy fix. As a result, I arrived at McCarren Airport to check my bag at 10:55 p.m. for an 11:30 p.m. flight. I was told I was to late and would have to take the next flight to Detroit, which wasn't until 8:15 a.m. I pleaded and offered to take my luggage to the plane and carry it to the baggage workers, but it was to no avail. I was booked for the 8:15 a.m. flight to Detroit. I was very disappointed to be informed that it would cost me $99.00 to make the change."

Cons: "I flew from Philly to Las Vegas and then Las Vegas to Atlanta to Philly on the way back. Each time the flights were delayed due to the previous connecting flights inability to be on time. At the airport the gate staff did not give updates for the airline departure. Once aboard the aircraft, the flight crew were loudly carrying on for the entire flight giving little regard for those around them especially since one flight was a redeye flight. I will not be flying this airline again."

Also, I am 6 months pregnant and travel quit a bit for work. It amazes me how flight attendants do not offer to assist with putting up my luggage. I never willingly chose spirit as my airline, I will do anything in my power to fly another but it just so happens this week was drastically cheaper so I had to select your airline and I am definitely not willing to do so again"

In addition, prior to my cancelled flight I barely received any emails letting me know of the status change and received NO phone text message. Spirit should text every person if a flight is cancelled. Lastly, it has now been 6 full days and no one has reached out about my refund. I requested it at the airport but have not received anything in the mail or via phone call. Disappointing customer service and horrible management."

Cons: "the customer service call center is way ineffective, you need to hold over 30 min to get someone on the phone, total disregard to customer flights needs specially when you connect to an international flight, flight cancelation is a nightmare, call center does not answer, the staff is impolite and make the customer feel like dirt"

Pros: "The cost"
Cons: "Charge for certain seats, charge for bags, charge for a soda even on a 4 1/2 hr flight, no perks no reclining seats. Only good for short weekend trips. If you need to pack a bag that cant fit under a seat you would be silly not to fly a dif carrier because cost adds up and the perks still stay at zero."

Pros: "The gate agent was very short and snippy at 5:30 am. So, that kind of makes everyone else in a bad mood. Too bad, because nobody was really awake and was looking forward going to the cold North. She could have made it a more pleasant boarding time..."

Pros: "nice flight, crew was very kind"
Cons: "This flight was nice, but the way Spirit did me for my not flight down will make me never to fly Spirit again. Very disappointed with this Airlines and the way I was treated."
