Cons: "Spirit is the worst airline in the world. I've never been so dissatisfied with service - except for the last time I flew spirit. The flight was delayed from 10:20 to 11:45. I had checked in the previous day - and printed by boarding pass - so I arrived at the ticketing counter at 10:20 - seeing as how the flight was delayed till 11:45. They refused to take my bag, which I had paid for - and refused to refund me for the USD 45 I paid for checked baggage. The woman at ticketing was stone faced and so cold. She was downright awful to the other woman ahead of me in line. I had my daughter come back and pick up my bag so that I could board the flight - as the ticketing agent said that I could board, just not my bag. The flight didn't end up taking off until 12:15 PM. It was a nightmare. It's ridiculous that the seats don't recline. I suppose you get what you pay for... but the level that Spirit takes it to is just insulting. I told my daughter I will never fly again if I have to fly Spirit."

I expected to pay at most 25 dollars for an extra bag, I came with 2 bags and no carry on, They wanted to charge 108 dollars for 2 bags Absurd especially as they failed to inform me either at time of ticketing or at time of attempted check in. I never flew this airline before and my son who booked the flight for me did not either, I had to throw one bag away No frills No smiles from employees The agent who was checking me in seemed to be the only one who cared The supervisor was unhelpful and cold and very adamant that I don't at the full fee even though there was never a prior attempt by the airline to inform me of their extortionist bag fee policy!"

Then we finally get an email 2 hours after the fact that they are experiencing delays and we should arrive to lax 2 hours early. They also wanted her to pay an extra $77 dollars for another flight to Oakland at 7pm. WTF spirit?!?!"

Their fare comes out way over the others when you factor just the basics into your total fare. In addition, they don't provide wi-fi, which I would pay extra for. Add to that a delay of over an hour and a half on my flight out, and a delay of over TWO hours on my return flight, and I will never fly with spirit again. Horrible experience."

I looked incredibly rude to other guests- should have been escorted by her. The seats on the plane and tray tables are super small, the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper mid flight, and when I asked the attendants about the toilet paper they told me they had handled it already by putting in a box of tissues. Then they carried on complaining about their schedules to eachother and didn't ask if there was anything else I needed."
