I had an oversized bag. The process of dropping my bag was dreadful. There was a single agent accepting over sized bags and a line out the door. Delta must fix this disaster.

Delayed boarding otherwise all was great. Had the Comfort+ seating which was decent. A bit more room than what is normal these days. Free Wifi for the whole trip was a bonus also

Cons: "noisy plane. seems like Delta does not maintain their planes very well. flight was delayed, which made it stressful to catch connecting flight at LGA. when we were all on the plane, the pilot states that he apologizes for the wait, since we were waiting a while for take off. he said there was something wrong with the fuel system that had to get fixed but it is ok now. wow, that wasn't the right thing to say. as soon as he said that, the passengers started talking among themselves saying,,,,,,,,,,,,well, i hope it is ok now, because if it is not, we may not get to our destination! he should have rephrased that and simply said that;;;;; sorry for the delay, we were simply going through some maintenance on the plane to make sure everything is all-right, which it is, and we look forward to getting you to your destination in a few minutes! keep it simple without getting into all the details! geeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssccccccccccchhhhhhhhh!!!!! :("

It's the 2nd Time Delta has done this to me in the space of 2 weeks and it's absolute Idiocy. Gouging you loyal customers like this is NOT how you do business."

We departed an hour and 15 minutes late and with the transfer of planes, it seemed that at least half the plane did not get their luggage. There was at least 50 of us standing at the baggage claim and we never got our bags. There was also no one to really talk to about it except one person. We all lined up to give our information to her. Fortunately, I was already talking to her when the line started and got that done pretty quickly. As far as the rest of the passengers, I'm assuming if they were at the back they had to waste another hour waiting to give information after waiting about an hour for our luggage. Also, I live local so it is not a big deal for me to go to the airport to retrieve my bag, wherever it is. Others do not have that luxury."

Cons: "Impossible to fit through your aisle to get to main aisle if someone's seat is reclined. I literally had to crawl over the people in the middle and aisle seats because I could y walk in front of them without basically being in their laps. The biggest thing, ITS ALWAYS A DELAYED FLIGHT. I have flown frontier San Diego to Denver and OC to Denver probably over 100 times. I have ALWAYS had a delayed flight do to nothing but poor planning by frontier. It's never weather, 85: never a plane malfunction, just delayed for whatever reasons. It's pretty irritating after years of flying your airline, that you can pretty much always gaurentee a delayed flight."

You'll end up paying the same price for a nicer flight with better baggage policies and more comfy seats after you end up paying all the hidden charges. Expect to add $105 each way on to your total costs. The seats look like aluminum frames with some cloth draped over it..."

Cons: "When the cost of the ticket is displayed it doesn't include the extra money you have to pay each way to get a seat, every single seat costs extra money, why not just include it in the price. Then even carry on bags cost an extra $30 each way, if you get the cheapest seats and carry on a bag, your flight ends up being $100 extra from what was displayed."
Pros: "Boarding was effeicient. Back to front. Flight left on time and was early on arrival. Yay!"

Flight was delayed because aircraft didn’t arrive on time in SJO. I missed my connecting flight and was rebooked to a next-day flight. I had to stay overnight in my connecting airport.

Customer service at check in was terrible, very impatient and unhelpful.

Great flight with no delays

Even though the flights was delayed, all staff at the gate was friendly and helpful. Crew was caring with a positive attitude. The only downside was that the airplane did not have the ability to charge devices.

Seats are hard to sit on. Not enough cushion

Everything needs to change. From the crew members. To the way they connect flights. To at least provide one drink in a 5 hour flight. The way they charge for luggages and force me to check in a book bag as a luggage. The experience was horrible . Spirit airline is such a horrible line and makes its own rule about food that you buy in the airport to bank on extra money inside the flight. Everything was horrible. I missed my connecting flight, I was charge for extra luggage, there was a fight between crew and customer next to me. A lady was pulled behind my de at because she wanted to throw up and the crew members didn’t know what to do. I wouldn’t even know where to start. It was so horrible I’m going to complain to the USA department of transportation, as well a consumer affairs.

Check in staff ignore my plea to expedite me through the bag check in since I booked the ticket late and hate little time to get to the gate. But for the kindness of another passenger I would have missed the flight. Seats are not comfortable, you even get charged for water. Hate the nickel and dining of the flight. Won’t fly this again.

The flight was over three hours late and the gate personnel were in no hurry to board the aircraft.

Got me from A to B. Nothing more nothing less.

It was a smooth and seamless flight from start to finish. If you're a light traveler, Spirit is a great travel option!

After 2 gate changes and a delay, we were told incorrect information by a Spirit flight attendant who told us to go to A14, when really we should have been at A2. But the flight board showed our flight number at A14. So we go to A2 and the plane door just closed - I watched the door shut - and they said we were too late. My BF (who is black) didn't say a word, but the attendant tried to say he shouted at her. I have 3 witnesses who say no announcement was made for a gate update, no final boarding call, etc. The Spirit supervisor lied and denied he was a supervisor. I had 2 different people lie to my face and I watched my plane pull away while my BF was being told that he was "screaming" at people (not true, have witnesses who are willing to testify). I have contacted my lawyers and I will be pursuing legal action. I will never book Spirit again and I have contacted my CC company to get my funds back 100%."

Tie that all together with an angry, impatient, and unprofessional staff, and you result in a customer who will never be flying spirit airlines again."

We were then repeatedly shown playful messages reminding us that we would have saved money if we had only paid for them earlier online. For our four hour and fifty four minute flight, no complimentary drinks or snacks were provided, not even water, though there were drinks for sale. Thankfully we had packed our own snacks. We felt kind of scammed with the bags. And the whimsical marketing style was insulting. Spirit Airlines apparently wants to be relatable and hip, but the actual flight experience was stingy and alienating. They did get us to our destination though."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled, due to weather? Other airlines flights around same time were not cancelled, although there were some delays. I'm not quite sure why my flight was cancelled. I recieved no email/call telling me about the cancellation. I looked online to check my flight status and found out by myself that it was cancelled. So I called in and waited for a representative to help me, who said the only thing they could do was move me to the next flight, which was the following day, 18 hours later from my original flight. After I decided that was way too late, i called back in to see if I could get an earlier flight instead, and was told I would have to pay a fee for changing my cancelled flight a second time, which is ridiculous. I eventually had to argue a little bit but ended up getting a partial refund of the round-trip ticket, as I am still going to use the return flight to come back. Overall, I really did not like having to find out myself about the cancelled flight, i did not like Spirit airlines' solution to the problem, I did not like that they wanted me to pay extra to change the cancelled flight, I did not like that they initially refused my refund request. From the time I realized my flight was cancelled to the time the issue was finally resolved, i had spent over an hour, which makes the experience very negative. The only positive is that I did eventually get a partial refund, even though it was less than half of the total price of the flight ticket."

I did notice that the stewardess in our area (who sat right in front of me (exit seat )) was on her cell phone texting or playing a game or what ever young people do on their phones. as a travelling public person, my comfort level or expectation is that all the time I am on board, that the crew is on duty and focused on their duties, which should include, not being distracted by using personal electronic devises at anytime. Secondly, the uniforms that the attendants wore seemed to be a little less cared for or clean as other airlines. Lastly, (this may be picky,) but it seemed that the hair of a few of the attendants seemed unkempt at a level in keeping with the beautiful airplane we were in. There was a steward that came on the plane who looked light his shirt was too big (collar was too big for his neck) as was the size of his coat. As a business owner myself, I appreciate the small things, as these can be the things that overshadows all of the other things we do to provide a good product, service or experience for our customers. Personal inner Professionalism is a mindset that transcends and fuels ongoing service, at levels which a rule book alone cannot attain.
