I have a return ticket to deal with again with pain in a few days. then I will never fly with this shitty airlines. At Gongzhau, kids are hungry in transit, tried to buy food, told they only take Yuan. there was no ATM in transit. had to exchange Yuan and thats the only option there if you want to buy something. Airport wi-fi sucks, no connectivity even after logging into the shitty local advertisers websites. Finally, crew were to manage some kind of food, but did not like it at all. shitty shitty. do no fly this airlines of chinese route at all."

Cons: "Plane was diverted back to Toronto from LaGuardia airport as we were told due to "weather", landed late at night and were told that due to not being able to control weather WestJet could not assist with accommodations, leaving everyone stranded and scrambling to find a room in alreday booked up hotels. When speaking on phone with agent, I was told it wasn't due to weather but incident at LaGuardia where plane went off runway. I paid $130.00 for 5 hours in a hotel, due to pilot error, not weather. La Guardia opened it's other runway immediately after and other airports in NewYork were running fine. Completely unacceptable and extremely bad customer service as CSR simply told us "sorry we can't help". Will never book with West Jet again."

Eventualy she is changing his reservation as well and puts him on the same flight as me. -waiting for the confirmation email, of course the reservation is just for me, no husband anywere. -called the third time, a nice canadian gentelman informs us that the second flights was canceled so he will redirect us via NJ instead of Washington. -we are rushing to the Richmond airport to catch the NY flight, at the counter they let us know that this flights was canceled and we are back on the DC flight. -when ready to board in the DC flight they are announcing the this flights is delayed from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm due to weather conditions. -waiting in the line to be rebooked in another flight, after 3 h of waiting they decide they can fly to DC at 4:45 pm, with about 15 people on board."

Cons: "Due to staffing problems the flight going to DC left Richmond 1.5 hours late. The plane left at 4pm and our connecting flight to Rome was starting boarding at 425pm. It was very stressful. I can understand changes due to weather but there is no excuse when it comes to staffing."

Cons: "The seats were hardest, most uncomfortable airline seats yet. No padding whatso ever. They now have 4 boarding classes plus the 'special' folks. If you drag your bag to the gate , which slows down boarding, you get it checked for free, if you check it yourself at the counter you get to pay 25$ ... Since older people generally do not want to be carrying luggage up the 'stairs and through the Chicago airport', it means they get to pay extra! I think it is age discrimination that all the airlines are doing. Only the young can fly the cheapest."

Flight to get to Richmond on united was a major problem. I work up with a notification that my flight time had been moved up 2.5 hours ( a problem as I live 2.5 hours away from the airport) I called and they said it was a mistake that I was good to take the origional flight. A few hours later I get a phone call from united asking if I could be at the airport 2.5 hours early. I said unfortunately no because I had already spoken to someone from united and they had reassumed me that the origional flight was still good. She then said if I couldn't make it early it was no problem. So I get to the airport at the origional time after speaking to two different agents who told me this was ok to find the plane delayed and causing me to miss my missed connection."

Cons: "United rerouted us and added another leg to our trip. We never flew Richmond to Denver. We ended up going Richmond -> Chicago -> Denver -> Santa Barbara. This caused us to miss a post-wedding brunch with family that we're only able to see about once every three years. All this after changing our flight out to the east coast the day of the flight (my 8:55pm flight was changed to 5:23pm, and I was notified after 3pm - meaning I had to run out of work early, costing me money, run home to pack, and rush to the airport, only to wait 3 hours for a now delayed flight). The also added another leg to that trip as well (at 3pm, day of). This was a red-eye flight and the last thing we wanted to do was get on and off the plane all night. I will not be flying with United after this trip."

Cons: "The boarding took a long time and the coffee on the flight is the worst I've ever head. I feel like United gives the bare minimum when it comes to the customers and doesn't really make an effort to do more than that."

I was placed on 2 other flights with 2 other airlines and wasn't notified until AFTER I was already checking in with another airline (this is also after calling the airlines regarding the cancellation, several hours before heading to the airport). Worst experience. Do not recommend."

Pros: "Spirit's strategy seems to be stripping down to the bare essentials, and you can see it in the plane interior. The seats are hyper-thin shells, no screens, nothing fancy. But I was actually pleasantly surprised by the seat and space; it didn't feel claustrophobic as I worried it would. It was spartan but adequate."
Cons: "Spirit nickels and dimes you on EVERYTHING. Maybe that makes for a slightly cheaper ticket, but it also makes for a lot of unpleasant surprises. Sorry, your carry-on will cost you $60. Want a glass of water? You'll need to pay for that."

The flight attendant laughingly said "The only two things that are free on this flight are the bathroom and the trash collection." On my flight back from Chicago, I ordered a double, neat Buffalo Trace to celebrate the fact that I'll never fly Spirit again. At least they have their humor showing right in their slogan: "Less money. More go." Yep, less money for me, and now much less go."

Then the 30 dollar additional fee is completely asinine if you are between 40 and 50 pounds on that checked bag. Also your fee for a carry-on bag is completely ridiculous. I ended up transferring weight from my checked bag to my backpack to avoid the 30 dollar additional fee. The result was that the airplane weighed the exact same as before I transferred weight, and Spirit airlines angered their customer. I was courteous to all the staff but I would rather pay more for a flight, have better customer service, better baggage policies, and avoid all the nickle and dime charges that Spirit employs. I think I just took my first and last flight on Spirit. Good luck to you!"

Cons: "No free water and the plane was fairly disgusting and they charge for absolutely everything which, in the end, doesn't actually make the flight cheaper for most, I'm guessing. That wasn't the worst of it, however. They forgot to email the passengers the night before to let them know that my flight which was already delayed about two hours required passengers to still get there before 10:30 PM or they would not be able to print a boarding pass. The employee in the office of Laguardia, where I was advised to go, was rude and incompetant, refusing to print a boarding pass for a flight that did not leave for another hour and a half, anyway. Finally, they gave us tickets for the next flight, but it was the next day--over 12 hours later than my original flight. I had to miss work because of this. I was advised originally by the employee at the desk downstairs to call the phone number on the back of the useless kiosk "boarding pass" and, this sent me through over an hour of back and forth between the incompetent phone employees and the incompetent desk worker. The desk worker kept making excuses, saying "TSA is closed anyway," although, when I went up the stairs to TSA, they advised me that they were not closed and just needed the woman at the office to print a boarding pass, which apparently they do all the time. Overall, a terrible experience both ways with a disgusting plane and a majority of useless and rude airport employees. They really do mean it when they say "below average leg room," too. Ended up paying what I would have paid in the end for a much better flight. Never take Spirit Airlines."

Ticket from Delta within 1.5 hours of the flight and got home great."

But at that point I was charged extra due to the delay and needing to have things handled by a counter person. Also had trouble getting my boarding pass printed. The web site kept circling back to the same "Print your boarding pass" page. Tried calling customer service. Was routed through a maze of choices that never offered talking to an actual person. Finally found a way to trick the system and couldn't understand the accent. Will never fly Spirit again if there is any other choice. Hassles are not worth the potential cost savings."
Cons: "At least a coffee /water/ and a cool drink could have been provided. The yellow/black color seen in booking/check-in process sends CREEPS and CHEAPS, while the price is not at all cheaper than other air lines."

Cons: "If you would like to bring anything with you on the flight it'll cost at least 50 percent more. More than an hour and a half delay. I received updates regarding the delay on my phone prior to arriving at the airport, and when I arrived at the gate the time wasn't updated."
