Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

My only real issue was that when I booked this flight through Kayak, I somehow booked via BudgetAir.com (though I was on your website.) Due to this, I was unable to access boarding passes coming or going via the Kayak app, or the Allegient app. Luckily I was able to print them prior to leaving home (and the resort printed them for on the way back), but using this site is definitely something I'll have to consider for my trip. I should have been able to access boarding passes electronically via the app regardless.

The flight was delayed a total of 5 times for a total delay of about 4 hours. The original scheduled flight was for 6:35 pm and we didn't actually leave the ground until almost 10:30. We kept getting pushed back. I am not certain if it was due to weather (in another area) or required flight crew rest, both of which I would understand. There was no reason posted that I saw. I have a 10 yo son who has Autism and should be in bed no later than 10 pm, preferably 9 pm. I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights."

We were referred to one person after the other only to finally end up in a 3hour line at customer service where we were told we miss the ground transportation and would have to find our own way home. We rented a car from Hertz and drove to Richmond arriving at 5:30am.... very disappointing."

Cons: "I arrive to Richmond, Va for a family reunion and with enough time to make the banquet. The baggage services in Newark didn't pack my bag on my flight, the next one afterwards nor the one after that. When trying to contact to see what's the issue nobody answered the phone, for a hour. The bag claim services from when I landed in Richmond didn't have a clue on how to contact Newark or to confirm my bags will be on the flight for that day. I had to do the research and find it myself while she watched a movie on her iPad. Needless to say if I could give a negative star rating I would. I missed the banquet and received my bags the next day and still couldn't get a reason from either airport on why they got left behind."

We were told the plane had taken off and would arrive by 10. They said we would get out by 11. Not long after that they canceled the flight and told us it would be rescheduled for 9am on Friday. This ruined a whole day of our vacation. We had to find a way back home Thursday night and someone else take us to the airport the next morning. We lost a day of our time share that we can’t get back. Then we were delayed on Friday from 9 to 10am. We finally got out at 10"

What wasn't advertised (or was, in flight): for fifteen+ minutes the crew was selling a spirit credit card over the intercom. BLARING IT. It woke me up. Why sell more things where your prospective customers can't escape listening to the sales pitch? Terrible terrible business."

The website does it best to ensure that you over pay for items that you don't want and makes it extremely difficult to pay for items that you are required to pay for. Won't fly this airline again, OR recommend it."

This left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will not use them ever again. I feel fooled by them cause there were no messages or warnings about the cost of carry one. Very disappointed"

When I tried to call to confirm and rebook I was told the flight had indeed cancelled and they couldn't get my ill mother and I on a flight for 2 more days. When I asked if they would put us up into a hotel they said they don't do that. I immediately cancelled the trip with them and the rep on the phone had the audacity to ask if I wanted to join their $9 fair club. To make matters worse I spent 4 hours getting my luggage back so my mother could have her medicine for the evening. Around midnight the airline sent me a $50 email voucher for each of us to rebook another flight with them. What a joke..."

Cons: "Make sure you realize that unlike literally every other airline, Spirit charges you $30 to bring a carry on if you pay in advance online, $55 if you end up paying at check in at the airport, and $100 if you do so at the gate. Carry on, not checked luggage. Every other airline will not charge you for it. If you want to pick your seat, or keep your family together on a flight, you have to pay extra, whereas every other airline, it's pretty much free. Because of this I was placed next to a 12 year old girl by herself in the very back row, thankfully the crew had enough sense to make sure to not let a grown stranger be in this position and moved me to a different seat, but had they allowed free seat choices, she could have sat next to her family and there would never be an issue. If you want a beverage on the flight and didn't pick up your own ahead of time, it will run you $3 while every other airline will give it to you as a complimentary service - meaning no charge. Their website touts that you're saving money on the flight cost by them charging these excessive fees, but I literally only saved $10 from the next highest flight price, ultimately running me $45 extra. Terrible business model."
