I liked the friendliness of the crew. How they greeted you boarding and leaving the plane. The friendliness of the crew passing out snacks.
The flight probably was alright, it's just that was unable to cancel /change my plans on the app, nothing easy about it. 1st time app user- negative experience

I tried to contact china southern airlines, they are always busy, after several attempts, finally somebody on the phone talking chinese shitty accents that only understood a few english. Chinese passenger crowded and with the shitty attitudes. One of the old guy drop the heavy coffee cup on my son's head and hurt real bad when he pulled his bag immediately after the land when he is not supposed to. I have a return ticket to deal with again with pain in a few days. then I will never fly with this shitty airlines. At Gongzhau, kids are hungry in transit, tried to buy food, told they only take Yuan. there was no ATM in transit. had to exchange Yuan and thats the only option there if you want to buy something. Airport wi-fi sucks, no connectivity even after logging into the shitty local advertisers websites. Finally, crew were to manage some kind of food, but did not like it at all. shitty shitty. do no fly this airlines of chinese route at all."

Cons: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."
Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

When speaking on phone with agent, I was told it wasn't due to weather but incident at LaGuardia where plane went off runway. I paid $130.00 for 5 hours in a hotel, due to pilot error, not weather. La Guardia opened it's other runway immediately after and other airports in NewYork were running fine. Completely unacceptable and extremely bad customer service as CSR simply told us "sorry we can't help". Will never book with West Jet again."

Cons: "For some reason when I booked my flight, for this leg of it, I had "get seat assignment at gate". Once I got my seat assignment I thought I had a window seat: however, when I boarded the plane, I realized that I was in the very last seat of the plane in the window position, but no window. I was crammed in next to a wall and claustrophobic the whole way as I couldn't see anything, couldn't recline at all because behind me was the bathroom, and the engine roared at times in my ears to where I couldn't hear the passenger next to me when we tried to have conversation as the engine was right outside my "wall". We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience."

Older plane. I have never EVER had a problem with seat belt length (I need to lose some weight but I am not excessively large) but my seat had a very short one - looked like it needed replacing.

It seemed like we were just inches above ground, when suddenly the plane went straight up in the air like a rocket. No one knew what was going on and why we did that. We went up pretty high, above clouds again. The pilot nor flight attendants informed us of anything and 15 minutes after circling around in the sky, the pilot informed us while stammering that we had to dodge a thunderstorm or strong winds. Then another 15 minutes of silence (from the crew) we finally touched down after tons of turbulence. It was the most traumatic experience for me and my family. Everyone on the plane clapped for joy when we finally landed. I don't know if we would want to fly with Spirit any time soon."

For example, the seats don't recline, there is no wifi, there are no movie screens... If you're flying with no baggeage on a short flight and don't care how uncomfortable it is, go for it. As for me, I'll stick with Delta or United."

Cons: "Nothing is complimentary, all snacks and drinks for purchase are inexcusably expensive when other companies provide for free, hefty fee for checked bags and carry-on 40-50$ paid to and from which makes up the difference for their cheap flights (not much cheaper than JetBlue or American) my luggage was left in the city I was visiting and when I asked for a refund for my returning checked bag fee, I was denied because I paid cash at check-in and it wasn't on my reservation (obviously I had paid to have it flown because it was supposed to go on board). All in all terrible experience and not worth the 25$ travel voucher I received--which doesn't even cover cost of luggage 1-way--because I'll honestly never fly spirit again."

Cons: "Flight was delayed for so long, that when we factor in the time that it toke to wait plus the two hours that I had to show up in advance plus the 45 minutes that I had to wait for my luggage, it would have been more convenient to drive From ATL To Tampa, The reason given was that there was no crew to flight the Plane, I missed the meeting I was supposed to be attending, so, I ended up just flying to Tampa For the pleasure that it is to fly in Spirit where they nickle and dime you for every single thing even if your flight is delayed for the same length of time it would take you to drive to your destination."
Cons: "We boarded late because the prior flight was late. We taxied out to a spot in the airport and sat for 3 hours. At 2 hours we got a small glass of water. We returned to the gate and the flight was canceled. We waited in line for an hour to get a refund.... there was absolutely nothing to like about this experience."
Cons: "This airline is the worst. 3 delays there 3 delays back. they give you excuses like weather but the other airlines are on time."
Cons: "Over priced, instead of charging one rate and include the standards, a seat, a carry on, everything was a fee! Then the flight is delayed and there was no way to find information on line, had to drive to the airport to find the counter closed, and there was no way of making my connection, decided not to fly at all on this airline and bought a ticket someplace else. Am hoping to get a refund for all the expenses, but I have been trying to cancel the flight, and now the website doesn't seem to be working. Keeps telling me to try again!!"

Cons: "The flight was listed on time until 20 minutes before boarding when it was delayed. The plane had not even left the prior airport at that time. There was no communication from the airline when our flight was cancelled. Then the customer service on the phone was horrible and they offered no additional compensation for our time wasted. The lady at the airport desk was also misleading and manipulative. Will never be riding spirit again."
Cons: "Spirit Airlines is perhaps the worst commercial airline out there, I'm surprised you list them on Kayak. From carry on fee, to no TSA precheck, or the worst of all, zero priority at the airport and the distinct possibility that your flight will be cancelled while all other airlines takeoff on time, I did everything I could do to get out of my ticket. On my way to the airport I called Spirit to ask why I couldn't enter my known traveler number but quickly hung up when I was warned that connecting with one of their personnel would cost me $25 - great customer service. After pleading with the ticketing agent in Atlanta I was lucky enough to be refunded the ticket price ($35+) and the bag fee ($45), and run to the Delta desk to buy a $360 one way ticket (worth every penny). I would love for Kayak to cover the difference in fare that I had to pay due in order to avoid the nightmare/death trap that I learned Spirit is, but at a minimum I feel Kayak should refund me the $9+ that they pocketed from this flight I was fortunate enough to avoid."

Cons: "The ticket counter was horrible. They had two lines to access the ticket counter with two small signs. The lines were actually spilling over to an adjoining Alaska ticket counter. If someone was at the entrance to the ticket area, a LOT of questions and confusion could have been eliminated. A flight for Boston was leaving with the half hour so they moved those individuals to an area next to Alaska and devoted 2 agents to take care of them. Unfortunately the line next to me, which was supposed to be for just checking bags had 4 agents accommodating that line and the other 2 agents were dedicated to the Boston flight. End result was both my flight to Tampa and the Boston were delayed for over an hour anyway. Of course the flight information boards did not reflect the changes and the gate attendants did not communicate as to what was happening. Delta would have been cheaper as Spirit charges for everything....As a first time traveler of Spirit, NEVER AGAIN...."
Pros: "This was an excellent price to pay for a visit to my sister and brother in law who recently relocated in Tmpa Fla. My son lives in Cleveland so the Spirit flight was a perfect fit for making it possible to visit two close family members for a low low price. The fact that Spirit flies non- stop form Cleveland to Tampa is an added bonus. The luggage restrictions are fair for these prices. People complain about the space between seats but it sure beats 24 hours in a car seat!! I like the fact that the seats don't recline. This gives everyone a fair share of space."

Cons: "Upon arriving at the airport, I was informed that my flight was canceled. They robotically said that the next flight isn't until over a week later (well after my scheduled vacation ends), and offered a refund as the only thing they could do. Frankly, a refund is literally the least they could do; there was no effort put into finding an alternate flight or offering other means of compensation for the inconvenience. Had I been in charge of this, I probably would have offered at least a voucher for a discounted future flight, so as to promote further patronage. When I asked why it had been canceled, they said some ambiguous nonsense about security in Fort Myers. When I then called Spirit Airlines, they said it was due to weather. Furthermore, the agent on the phone was equally unhelpful and uncaring as those in person. She explained that because I accepted the refund, there's nothing else they can offer. I tried to explain that those at the counter gave me a refund because it was the only option. In short, this was my first experience with Spirit, and I got the distinct impression that they had no interest in customer satisfaction whatsoever; they are solely in it for the monetary exchange. Once that transaction is complete, they want to be rid of you."
