Pros: "We left on time"
Cons: "The size of the plane is just so bad"
Pros: "Crew professionalism."
Cons: "The boarding process was awful. The gate agent was extremely rude - was shocked she was representing Delta. There was police on board arresting two passengers and crew was not saying anything."
Pros: "The crew was pleasant and professional. The on-board entertainment was excellent and the seats were actually comfortable. I was provided the option to use any restroom by the crew without regard to my seating location."
Cons: "Nothing comes to mind."
Pros: "Good to have on board internet"
Cons: "Quicker boarding of passengers."
Pros: "nice crew and newer plane"
Pros: "Nothing I couldn’t get this flight because of the delay of the previous one"
Cons: "The company could have hold it knowing there were travellers on connection. If not, knowing that they were no flight before the next day they could have prepare hotel booking for us because all hotels were full at midnight when we finally could get there."
Pros: "Pilot and staff were informative and great"
Cons: "I was forced to upgrade to first class by Air France stuff in Athens which they Deceive me not telling me that the first class was not for the entire trip to JFK! If I was informed I would not spend the extra money to flight on an economy “seat” which was not comfy seats for the entire trip"
Pros: "Crew was wonderful! Food was good. It was a good experience."
Cons: "This whole paying for comfort seats is annoying. Just make all the seats decent for all travelers."
Pros: "Comfort + was nice."
Cons: "Had a middle seat between two other men. I was given my seat by the gate. It would have been nice if they placed my more strategically. That might be asking too much but seems reasonable."
Pros: "The flight attendant from IAD to MSP called Bernadette was wonderful!"
Pros: "I got home alive."
Cons: "The crew was surly. The flight was delayed. We received little information about the delays."
Pros: "I appreciate how Delta always takes care of their passengers. Comfortable seating and accessible entertainment"
Pros: "It was a brand new 737-900 with legroom, atmospheric lighting, very quiet engines, and LEGROOM in coach. The flight crew was top-notch as well."
Cons: "Nothing. Delta did very well with this one."
Pros: "Nice plane and super nice crew."
Pros: "Speedy check in. Friendly crew."
Cons: "The tv kept having problems. In all three seats we were in. We could only watch tv but the audio kept cutting out. Annoying to say the least"
Pros: "Boarding was easy. No issues. Friendly staff. We had to fill out customs declaration forms but didn’t have a pen. We asked stewardess for a pen and they didn’t have any left. She said to borrow from a neighbor which I thought was rude. We don’t know our neighbors. If a flight requires filling out a form, they should provide enough pens to do so."
Cons: "Not enough pens"
Pros: "Got me there Safely"
Cons: "Couldn’t understand announcements... at all! By flight attendant or pilot"
Cons: "Denver airport is far too large for there to be such a small security check therefore it took forever and I missed the flight. Delta tried to charge me $1000 for another ticket to Albany and I decided to fly with another airline for half the price instead"
Pros: "I loved the flight attendants and the desk staff everyone was so friendly and made me want to travel delta again."
Cons: "Delta doesn’t offer military spouses free checked bags and I found this out at the airport. It was disheartening, but at least it’s Delta and not the airline that is supposed to represent America."
Pros: "Military boarded first"
Cons: "Disabled US Veterans should be allowed to board with active and retired military"
Pros: "All the movie choices. Wish TVs came in all aircraft and/or flights 2+ hours. :-)"
Cons: "knees were jammed into the seat in front of me."
Cons: "Ac not working properly. Hot."
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "Napkins stuffed in the overhead to fix presumably the rattles."
Pros: "On time, clean cabin, attentive and professional flight attendants, plenty of overhead storage."
Cons: "Nothing. No complaints."
Pros: "The crew both going and coming from San Jose, Costa Rica were incredible."
Cons: "The long waits on the tarmac waiting on other planes to leave. Which was a big problem because it caused a lot of us to either barely miss our flight or miss our flight."
Cons: "Baggage was delayed overnight. With modern tracking, should have been notified that the luggage was not loaded on the same flight as me, eliminating my wasting 45 minutes at ATL realizing that my baggage was not coming and then having to queue to notify the airline that it had not come."
Cons: "Flight was 30 minutes late because the gate was understaffed. During the flight, the crew told us they couldn’t serve us because of turbulence, but then served first class."
Pros: "Personality and charm of the flight attendants made it an especially relaxing trip."
Cons: "Flight delay 5+ hours poor Service"
Pros: "Big bathrooms, friendly staff, free eyemaks"
Cons: "The airline booked us on two flights from SLC to BWI. Unfortunately, our seats on our original connection were released so when we arrived at our gate our only option was to split up and take middle seats - even though we had paid over $100 ea. for upgrades. Delta offered nothing for this. One of the flight attendants was in a terrible mood - she was cold and rude and would not even look at passengers - which her fellow crewmates noticed and tried to compensate for."
Pros: "Free movies. Clean and modern look to airplane."
Cons: "Could not get wifi to work."
Cons: "I couldnt check in online and reserve my seats"
Pros: "During my experience on 19 November I encountered only wonderful crew members, from the gate attendants to the on-flight crew. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind."
Cons: "Earlier in the day when I was checking in, there was a prompt to be added to the list of volunteers to take a different flight should one of my later flights (it did not specify, I flew from DAY to ATL, and then ATL to ORF) was overbooked. My schedule was accommodating enough that I selected yes. In ATL I was called up as a potential volunteer as they needed 3 volunteers to take a later flight that day. I was told that I was not initially assigned a seat since I had earlier agreed to be a potential volunteer. I was okay with all of this. We were told that the decision would be made at the end of boarding, and we would know if our seats were needed. At the end of boarding they called for the 3 volunteers to board. I was the last one to board and was given my seat assignment. Once I got on the plane I saw that someone had already been assigned my seat and let a flight attendant know what had happened. I stood on the plane for about 10 minutes while the flight attendants and other crew members tried to figure out what had happened. My name was not listed under any cabin (main, comfort, etc) even though I had a ticket and a seat assignment. Eventually they had to open the doors again for me to get off the plan as there were no available seats. Once I got back to the gate podium I was booked on a later flight, as would have been the case had the normal course of action for volunteering to give up my seat taken place. Everyone was extremely helpful in trying to figure out what had happened, but it was still frustrating that it had to happen in that way. Luckily I don't believe the delay caused any major delay for the flight. In the end, things worked out fine, it just seems as though this is an issue that didn't need to happen."
Cons: "Basic economy has way too many restrictions"
Pros: "Entertainment was good. Delta staff seemed flat compared to other delta flights I've been on."
Cons: "Space. Economy on a long flight is not ideal"
Pros: "I had a window seat"
Cons: "bumpy flight"
Pros: "On time and helpful"
Cons: "No power outlets, back of the plane is really loud, overhead bins suck"
Pros: "The crew boarded us efficiently, and got us off the ground on time, but the boarding experience is not pleasant."
Cons: "The food selections are limited. The crew ran out of popular items in the economy cabin. The personal seat lighting on the B-767 never quite worked. I eventually gave up on it. The overhead bins were too small for many roller boards, which caused some passengers to be perplexed. Delta should offer some inducements to encourage passengers to gate check bags."
Pros: "On time, courteous"
Pros: "Flight was delayed by 2+ hours, Delta (running the flight for westjet) sent 1 email about the flight being delayed to 4:45 which was inconsistent with the gate signage and agent who said 3:45, flight ended up leaving at 5:45PM. No reasons were provided beyond the incoming flight from LGA hadn't come in. Why hadn't it come in? When could we expect to leave YUL? No answers."
Pros: "Se had a Nice menu on board"
Cons: "No food to sell on board"
Pros: "On time, quick flight, nice people."
Cons: "It was freezing cold."
Pros: "Wonderful experience with the staff."
Cons: "No complaints."
Cons: "Announcements at the gate could be more clear."
Cons: "The fact that I can’t purchase a drink is ridiculous! I am willing to pay $8 for a can of beer and still can’t buy one. I believe many companies are using the coronavirus excuse as cost saving measures."
Cons: "Absolutely full flight with no physical distancing."
Pros: "Enough leg and seat space for coach. Timely, easy boarding, clean airplane."
Cons: "Entertainment screens (though good selection for iPhone entertainment) , ability to charge phone."
Cons: "Better bathroom access for premium economy"
Pros: "Missed our connection flight. Time to close terminal to far away. Ran to gate closed as we got there."
Cons: "Spending night in Chicago O'hare airport where we rerouted."
Pros: "Nothing. American is consistently terrible."
Cons: "Flight pushed back on time, but then we sat on the tarmac for well over an hour. I'm sure they did that to fudge their on-time record. Totally lame."
Cons: "In a perfect world, no 2-hour delay."
Pros: "Because American Air had to change a light bulb on the plane in Lisbon, which took a couple of hours, we barely made our connecting fligh. We ran from customers TSA to the other end of Philly airport."
Cons: "Another airline."
Cons: "Luggage lost never return"
Pros: "one of the crew members (Ana) was not only rude and bumping the food cart everywhere, she apparently did not learning as kid the basic of thank you and please. In addition her personal manners of cleaning her nose with her hand, was not only disgusting but unhygienic."
Cons: "Food, boarding and some training for some of the crew"
Cons: "4 hour plane availability delay - of course planned on weather but not planning"
Pros: "leg room"
Cons: "paid for a window seat, got no window. The map on the website dictated a window and exit row. This was not the case. This flight is always late. Waiting on baggage in Midland takes 30+ minutes"
Cons: "Flight got delayed which caused me to miss the last flight for my connecting flight."
Pros: "Wi-Fi was adequate"
Cons: "I paid extra for a better seat, but it still felt cramped. The tray was crooked and I had no priority boarding."
Pros: "Great Airport and easy access to the gates and transportation."
Pros: "Movies are comparatively new"
Cons: "My flights between Chicago and Japan delayed both ways. My wife's flight from Chicago to Japan which is one day before mine got cancelled. Her name wasn't in the system for her rebooked flight with Cathy Pacific. HORRIBLE!!!"
Cons: "Broken entertainment control set seat 11 window."
Cons: "Delays departing delays connecting delays delays delays. Flight attendants were very pleasant."
Pros: "The crew was sensational. Everyone really loved working for American, which tells me it's an employee sensitive and supportive company, and that is reflected in their attitude which is what makes my trip so pleasant. I love the darkening windows - great for daytime flying back from Europe when the whole plane becomes tranquil! Food was very good on this flight! Pilot spoke very clearly and was very informative."
Cons: "We sat in Charlotte on the runway and had to run to our connection. The airport seems too small for the amount of traffic. We usually try to avoid Charlotte, but it was the only way to use frequent flyer miles"
Pros: "The quickness at which they discovered my suitcase was missing even before I got to the luggage carousel and sent me text. The quickness at which my suitcase was found, put on another plane and returned to me the next day by noon to my home. There was nothing missing."
Cons: "That damage on my suitcase is not covered. Corner was torn 8 inches and a tear in the fabric. But it wasn't my expensive suitcase. It got caught on the carousel I sure because the paper identifying strips got caught somewhere."
Cons: "Rude gate agents who did not inform passengers timely about the 2.5 hours delay. Post the delay after the expected departure time, etc. Terrible experience."
Pros: "Nice crew"
Cons: "I booked a LATAM flight for a 10.5 hour flight specifically because they have better in flight entertainment. I arrived at the airport and found it it was operated by AA. 10.5 hours with zero in flight entertainment. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE."
Pros: "The dinner was decent"
Cons: "There was NO in-seat entertainment or place to charge mobile devices. Very uncomfortable seats. This plane was very old. 9.5 hr flight was pretty unpleasant."
Pros: "I arrived at my destination at least! Good crew and decent food but that’s the least I can expect from an 8 hour flight."
Cons: "Very old plane. Had the screens every 4-5 aisles. No control over the entertainment. Very uncomfortable seats, but so are almost every other airlines. The worst part about this flight was that I traveled with my girlfriend and when I went to check in, 24 hours before, there were only single seats left and there were so many open seats together that were considered “preferred” and had to pay $80 for just one “preferred” seat just so we can sit together on an 8 hour long flight. The seat didn’t even have any extra legroom or anything, it was a normal seat. American Airlines is just trying to squeeze money out of anything they can."
Pros: "Not very much positive to say unfortunately. The staff were good and did as much as they could to keep up feed and happy."
Cons: "The plane was extremely old and dated. Never been on such an old plane with no up to date equipment or facilities. The chairs were very uncomfortable and the food was awful. There was no personal entertainment screen for an 11 hour flight and only one of the safety demonstration screens was working during take off. Also no plugs at all."
Pros: "Took off and arrived on time."
Cons: "The employees treated me poorly"
Cons: "No individual TVs, electric plug nor WiFi"
Cons: "Extremely old plane"
Cons: "Flight departed approximately 5 hours late, excuses given by employees didn't make sense."
Cons: "I would consistency with the flights. The plane I took from NYC to MIA had individual montiors and served a variety of snacks. The flight from MIA to NYC had on pretzels and you had no options for entertainment."
Pros: "Flight was great. Landed a few mins early"
Cons: "Not much selection of snacks. No tv"
Pros: "OK for a short flight, we were just given water and nothing else probably because of the short duration. The IES is OK but you have to bring your own WiFi device to be able to stream their media which is free"
Cons: "Seats are too small"
Cons: "crew did not pick up the food tray for a long time crew borderline corteous"
Pros: "Leaving the plane was my favorite part. Entertainment was one of the best (American run flight and plane)."
Cons: "Seats were very cramped and did not recline enough to get comfortable. Temperature of the cabin was hot then cold. No sleep again. But the cabin crew looked refreshed in the morning. Guess they had better seats. It should be a law that all airline employees from the CEO on down should only be able to fly in coach. Maybe then the seats will get better."
Pros: "It was my first time I was a little scared but not anymore it was a smooth ride. Don't change nothing keep up the good work. Thanks for letting me explore"
Pros: "Large plane, and helpful crew."
Cons: "Not much."
Cons: "Average airline compared to Singapore & MZ airlines"
Pros: "The crew were as nice and accommodating as they could be considering the situation."
Cons: "Three planes with "maintenance" issues and not able to fly? Including flights that weren't ours. Boarding, re-boarding, leaving four hours late and waiting an hour for bags in Denver."
Pros: "On time performance; friendly, competent staff."
Pros: "crew was kind and helpfull"
Cons: "They lost my luggage for 6 days. Also a 18 hour layover just the little things that makes the difference in travel"
Pros: "Flight on time"
Pros: "There's nothing good about AA"
Cons: "One of the few things SouthWest, Alaska & United did was the proper queuing of people to get into the plane. AA is a free for all - those who follow regulations will fall behind. In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."
Cons: "No entertainment"
Pros: "Allthough is was I bird strike, y'all handled the delay good."
Pros: "Overall great flight and great service. No complaints!"
Pros: "BA system down. Najor delays and long lines. Flight good."
Pros: "flight attendants"
