The flight itself felt like an older 737-800 while it had power there were only two and the two others in my row snagged them. I was in Delta Comfort and have to say the extra leg room isn’t a lot."

Cons: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."

Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

Cons: "My email read check into Aeromexico I could not check in the Aeromexico using my phone I was dropped off at the Aeromexico terminal after standing in line for half an hour I find I was in the wrong terminal I needed to be in a different terminal with Delta because Aeromexico even on my reservation read that does not fly to Tampa. I had to find a shuttle to another terminal the shuttlesare not marked it was very confusing"

Cons: "For some reason when I booked my flight, for this leg of it, I had "get seat assignment at gate". Once I got my seat assignment I thought I had a window seat: however, when I boarded the plane, I realized that I was in the very last seat of the plane in the window position, but no window. I was crammed in next to a wall and claustrophobic the whole way as I couldn't see anything, couldn't recline at all because behind me was the bathroom, and the engine roared at times in my ears to where I couldn't hear the passenger next to me when we tried to have conversation as the engine was right outside my "wall". We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience."

My last trip 2 years ago was with Copa to Washington D.C and it was an absolute delight. This time however, there was a noticeable drop in the quality offered: for reasons unknown, the movie started playing extremely late, and was therefore cut short by landing time. Additionally, the quality of the food was also inferior to what I would have expected for a 3 hour, noon flight: it was roughly equivalent of the breakfast served during the SJO-PTY flight, which is barely one hour long."

All my flights were on time and arrived in time at the destinations. They have an excellent option for entertainment with good movies and documentaries."

All our questions were simply ignored. They gave us coupons for food for ten dollars. Nothing can be bought with that money. And they didn’t have coupons for everyone so had to wait a lot until they brought all the coupons. Boarding was a nightmare. Crew couldn’t care less. A woman refused to seat far from her “kids” (about 9 and 14) and flight attendants didn’t do anything ti stop the woman from blocking the aisle. We were already almost three hours late. Overall the worst experience."

Pros: "I bought a return ticket from Panama City to Rio on Kayak and was not notified that a Yellow Fever shot was necessary for re-entry to Panama. Turned back at the air port in Rio I had to spend an extra 13 days in Rio de Janeiro at my expense, three to see doctor and get vacine, plus ren day waiting period."
Cons: "To change ticket I had to pay change fee plus fare difference. Copa said it was not their responsibility to notify passengers of health alerts and Kayak should be responsible. Needless to say I was on the hook for the time and the bill. I have flown Copa with satisfaction a number of times but this is enough to discourage me from ever flying them again and possibly ever using Kayak again."

Boarding was totally disorganized, it reminded me of a persian market trying to go though a single door, all at once. Security bands to form lines were obviously unavailable. The whole experience was like riding an old bus with no technology, and it’s entertainment was along these lines."

They made us wait on the plane, a completely booked flight, for 30 min without air conditioning (in Panamá, where the temperature is insufferable)! Later, we had to wait on the runway another 20 min, still lacking air conditioning. Finally, we spent almost the entire flight with our empty meal trays sitting in front of us. RIGHT when the captain announced "flight crew prepare the cabin for landing", the crew ran through to pick up the trays and trash. In total, it was a very uncomfortable flight."

Cons: "3 hours stuck on the tarmac before giving up on repairs and switching aircraft"

Pros: "Leaving the plane was my favorite part. Entertainment was one of the best (American run flight and plane)."
Cons: "Seats were very cramped and did not recline enough to get comfortable. Temperature of the cabin was hot then cold. No sleep again. But the cabin crew looked refreshed in the morning. Guess they had better seats. It should be a law that all airline employees from the CEO on down should only be able to fly in coach. Maybe then the seats will get better."

Cons: "The crew was late because of an incoming flight they were rude to other passengers and seemed to have an attitude after a long day they made very few announcements but the flight went fast"

Pros: "He gave me a meal voucher in Dallas which made me feel a little better about the four hour delay until the next flight."
Cons: "I didn't like the idea that I've had a four hour delay due to the fact that the airplane and DeRego showed up an hour late. There were no explanations and no apologies. I got to Dallas I was furious complain to customer relations. I at least wanted them to let me in to the admirals club so I could be comfortable for the next four hours. They refuse that but one lady at the customer relations apartment did give me a meal voucher which made me feel a little better."

Pros: "With American Airlines in general there is no such thing as customer service anymore .Staff at desk at the airport are rude .Could learn a few things from your Australian counterparts at Qantas airlines"

Pros: "I purchased a ticket for my 18 year old dog $ 125.00 each way to fly with me to Kalispell and back. She is so old that she can not SEE, HEAR, or BARK any longer. I understood she needed to be under the seat for take off and landing but I was told by the ticket agent and flight attendants on my first flight that she could sit on my lap during the flight. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. Feel free to call me 352-804-8344. You may send this to UNITED AIRLINES too!! Thanks Karen Hope"

Cons: "Lack of personal space is a fact of life for air travel unless one can afford the good seats. Plus, why do I always sit behind a crying, screaming child? I know it's no fun for anyone involved and it's just part of life, but maybe next time I'll be more fortunate. Flying in economy is truly like riding in a very big Greyhound Bus! It beats driving, but not by much. I wish trains were more plentiful and affordable."

Cons: "Not sitting by my wife."

Pros: "The crew was the best part of the entire awful experience. The pilots let people tour the cockpit and the stewards were very accommodating considering their rules and restrictions. With so many delays, we were able to disembark the plane and come and go as we needed till we were able to finally board for takeoff."
Cons: "We all received updates every thirty minutes with a new departure time and each time we were supposed to depart, there was another delay. The first delay was caused by a seat cushion floating device not being on the plane (hour delay right there) and then for the next three and a half hours, we all were constantly being delayed due to rain. The rain was not their fault but had that cushion been properly stocked on the plane, we would have missed the storm and been on our way. A two-hour flight became an eight-hour hell. Not to mention, the plane itself smelled like a seedy bar bathroom, I had to tuck my legs underneath myself because there was absolutely no legroom, and my row mate was a belligerent drunk. Getting home at 5 am Monday morning and going straight to work was not ideal. Would have been nice to be home on the same day that my flight was scheduled."

Cons: "not that it is the fault of the airline, but it was turbulent flight"

Cons: "Boarding by group is ridiculous. Should be back of the plane people after kids & wheelchairs. One small bag of pretzels & a cup of drink. JetBlue gives many choices of snacks & whole can of drink. DirecTv - $7.99, JetBlue is free. We were a party of 3 that picked our seats to be together. Got to the airport & our seats were split up by desk clerk & she didn't even inform us of seat assignment change. She also put 2 of us in the Exit row without informing us. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible."

Pros: "The crew was very nice and attentive"
Cons: "My table area was not clean, you have to pay for checked baggage, and in order to watch the onboard directv, you have to pay...in order to use the wifi, you have to pay....with all the other airlines out there that offer these things complimentary...I wouldn't choose united again"

Pros: "I liked the cost, BUT..."
Cons: "I didn't like that it wasn't readily advertised you get put at the back of the bus, bottom of the pile, lowest point on the totem pole. In other words, I was booked on my return trip as Basic Economy- no frills, no thrills. Last to board, no carry-on allowed. I had to end up paying the same for that portion of my round-trip as I would have if I'd just booked through United. $60 in checked baggage. NOT happy with Kayak more than anything."

Cons: "Changed gate to another terminal at the last minute, we made it on time buy with an infant and a toddler taking a bus in a raining day was tough."

Cons: "My trip was for my dad's quadruple bypass surgery and the date was changed. I was told by Price Line I would need to pay $400 as fee to change my trip. I received your email so I contacted United directly and they said there was a $200 fee which could be reimbursed since it was a medical situation."

Pros: "The new aircrafts are great! More room for everything! Love flying United!"
Cons: "The flight attendants aren't always the most friendliest"

Cons: "Took way to long to finish boarding so we were very delayed. This becomes almost a punishment to those who board on time. Also, the flight crew was very loud (I was seated in the last row and they were not at all concerned about the volume of their conversations)."

Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "If the seats get any closer or smaller they might as well double stack. I am of average height and weight so this is disappointing. The plane was sold out so it's not like UA is hurting"

Pros: "After many flights with United, I am always pleased with the level of customer service. I've only encountered friendly staff from the skycaps to the captains and everyone inbetween. I have never felt like I'm just a warm body filling a plane seat."

Cons: "I was two hours delayed from my originating terminal in Denver due to a snow storm overnight. I arrive into Houston two hours late only to re adjust my remaining flights back to Denver. Two days later. What was supposed to be a one day trip to get my kids to spend it with me in Colorado. Is now turning into a three day filled adventure in airports."

Cons: "I was in the center bulkhead seat with an very oversized man on the aisle seat with a "service dog". It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that."

Pros: "It was a perfect flight"

Pros: "The crew was friendly, and overall flight was good"
Cons: "Half way through the movie I bought to watch on my screen there was an announcement made by the captain and when my movie came on the sound wouldn't work, the flight attendant just said sometimes that happens and I could try to ask for a refund."

Cons: "Wi-Fi wasn't available"

Cons: "This was the flight from hell. Terrible uncomfortable seats. Could not get the monitor turned off and out of my eyes. Plus we were delayed 4 hours in this crappy airport only to get on a really crappy plane. We were supposed to arrive in Tampa before 10 but wound up getting in like a red eye at 1230 am. Lost out on our ride home and we were so exhausted. I cried most of this flight home 2 1/2 hour flight. Nice staff but crappy plane. I am waiting to get a call to get reimbursed for my loss of time at work and the missed ride home."

Pros: "The cookie was wonderful . I was shaped like a waffle & had caramel inside. The package even instructed how to warm it up over the top of my coffee cup. Also, all the United personnel were great!"
Cons: "Our flight departure was delayed from Tampa to Chicago cause they switched planes. Thank God I didn't miss my connection flight."

Pros: "Entertainment should really be N/A. Landing was a little hard but all in all it was a good flight."
Cons: "Everything was very smooth. No issues."

Cons: "United is a bare bones airline with poor everything. Flight attendants that project ther roll MAINLY as safety technicians, uncomfortable seats (not to mention right packing. Booked this flight when it was listed as Luftstansa, but should have made another choice when I saw it was United."

Pros: "The plane was very clean, modern, and it just felt safe. The crew is excellent, and the flight took less than three hours."
Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour. Boarding was a bit of a problem, there was a miscommunication of who boarded first and who would board next so the boarding process was a bit delayed and disorganized. No entertainment was offered."

Cons: "Instead of a full can of soda with glass of ice, just recieve a glass with v ice and a bit of soda from the can."

Pros: "Clearly a recent D check plane, very clean and new interior"
Cons: "New screens are nice, but $8 to watch TV for a couple of hours? Take a hint from JetBlue, United, STOP NICKEL AND DIMING CUSTOMERS! This on top of there being two solid rows of economy comfort seating open, and not letting us move back one row to the economy comfort seats since ours wouldn't recline because they were in front of that exit row. On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."

Pros: "The crew was mostly friendly. One crew member didn't look too happy to be there, but the rest were quite friendly. The flight took off on time or earlier. We landed and started exiting the plane about 15 minutes earlier than expected which is always good. Even though you had to pay for the entertainment, they did provide one channel without paying and played a couple tv episodes."
Cons: "I don't really have any complaints, it was a good trip."

Pros: "The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I had just flown in with united from Hawaii and landed 6. 15 am that morning and the employees assisted as I was not familiar with the airport. Will definitely fly united again."

Cons: "The crew did not seem to enjoy their jobs and can the seats get any more uncomfortable? It really is okay to put some padding in the seat cushions. Is it really necessary to charge for the movies?"

Cons: "Choosing of seats process. My traveling partner and I did not get to sit together on way home. Everyone was nice and got a free upgrade but would have been nice to sit together"
