The problem is that on bulkhead seating, the arm rests don't move up so it looks like they're sitting ON the armrests which means I'm leaning into the aisle and the person by the window is squeezed. However, other seats (middle) exist and no accommodation is made. There's also a policy that a COS procure an extra seat, for their comfort and comfort of others. Guess not, and when pointed out, the FA shrugged and asked if I want to move. Sorry, but I bought business select because I wanted a certain seat (get off fast, aisle, leg room). So instead of recognizing the policy, instead of making sure the COS is in a comfortable seat, instead of asking someone else to move where the armrests can be lifted, etc. She gets to sit nearly on the arm rests and negatively impact (aka wrecked) the flight of two business select customers (A4 and A2) Really?!?"

Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

Cons: "Delta employee who drive shuttle to connection stopped to drop off a passenger and proceed to chat w other workers thereby getting me to my gate late and missing my connection and getting me to Florida almost 3 hours later than planned. Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Cons: "SC recently changed their baggage policy and the line at 6:00a to check a bag was from one end of the terminal to the other. I’m sure they’ll get it figured out at some point but they had to pull people on flights leaving within the next hour from the lines in order to get flights out on time. Terrible experience, no apology, no explanation."

Cons: "They delayed the flight (very first one of the morning) by over an hour, caused me to miss my connecting flight, which meant I had to stay overnight and take another flight. Extremely frustrating as they did nothing to help reschedule or reimburse. Use old planes, which don't have entertainment or outlets. Overall, very frustrated with the experience. I don't want to fly sun country again! (The flight on sun country going was terrible as well)"

Cons: "When I checked in on the internet, there were no economy seats available. I had to pay $15 for a "preferred" seat, which was an aisle seat on row 7, near the front of the economy section. I was told by an employee that the only economy seats were the middle seats, that aisle and window seats were preferred seats. I was told the plane was full and they could not change my "preferred" seat although I did see empty seats on the plane after takeoff. Also bathroom facilities were poor - only two in the back for the entire economy seating. And the aisles were narrow."

Cons: "I was blockaded from access to the bathroom(s). The first class dragon forbade access to anyone but 1st class and the rear bathrooms were blockaded bt workers handing out drinks. Very tough on us 75+ crowd.We don't get much time from urge to crisis."
Cons: "I felt like a sardine in a can. Seriously can you make seating more comfortable? It's torture while first class is treated like royalty. The coach seats were hard as rocks and tiny. I hate flying because airline companies treat people who can't afford the over priced first class seats like cattle. Airlines are greedy. The good price for the flight is great but in the end feeling cramped and getting my legs and arms bumped every time someone walks by is ridiculous. GET COMFORTABLE SEATING IN COACH DAMN IT!!"
Cons: "My departing flight was delayed 1.5 hours and my return flight was delayed approximately 2.5 hours. No explanations were ever given as to why we were delayed. Also, you'd think after being delayed for that amount of time we'd get an apology or some "thanks for your patience" pretzels, but no. Drinks and snacks still come at a price. I won't be flying this airline ever again."
Pros: "The plane was on time. The cabin was clean. Seats were fine. All but one of the crew were helpful and kind. Excellent flight with a wonderful pilot(s)."
Cons: "One crew member insisted on her own HERDING of us all in line for the restroom. She treated us all like preschoolers. We were already working out the problem, when she took it upon herself to yell loudly at us all to make room for one person. She sheepishly explained away her actions. Horrifying. I have never felt so degraded on a plane. I can barely imagine, how she would have reacted, if any of us had approached her in the same tone and manner."

Paid $30 more, but obviously no choice. Got to airport, tried to print boarding passes, had to choose seats again. Ones from day before did not take. Thankfully, not charged. Frustrating though."
Pros: "Loved the fact that you can check your carry-ons for free at check-in on full flights. We had planned to carry-on, but it was nice to have a free hand through the airport."
Cons: "The website function to check in ahead of time and pre-purchase checked bags did not work on either leg of our flight, so we had to pay $5 more at the airport. On our flight the other direction, they honored the online price. I was traveling back with a friend's wedding dress as my only carry-on, but had to fold it into a bag to fit their carry-on regulations. I could not hang it, as there were no closets."

And I wasn't able to get on a flight until the next day. To make matters worse I had to flight back to New York to catch the flight to Barcelona! Unbelievable. I was beyond disappointed. I chose American Airlines for a reason, a good one at that. Yet this happened."

After agent assigned me a seat in the last row, after I asked for something closer to the front of plane. I was told that I had to check-in my carry on bag because they were expecting a full flight. I said that I had an 19" bag that was small enough to be put in overhead compartment. I was then advised that if I wanted to get on the flight I had to check my bag. I then spoke to a supervisor who said the only way to carry on my bag was to pay for an expensive seat or be in group 2. The agent had put us in group 3. I said that none of the reasons given for not being able to carry my bag on tje flight is not stated anywhere on website or when purchasing a ticket. I had no choice but to give up my carry on bag. Boarded group 3 and upon getting on plane I noticed that the overhead compartments were half full. As I arrived at seat 30 A, all the compartments were empty. I went to the front of plane to speak to an agent on ramp and other passengers were bringing on their carry on bags. I spoke with the supervisor who said I couldn't get on flight unless I checked my carry on bag. All he could say is that he was sorry for the inconvenience. I asked why he was helping other passengers to bring their luggage on board but I was refused. Then a flight attendant said that I was being disruptive and was going to get thrown out of flight. There is no explanation why my girlfriend and I weren't allowed to bring our carry on bags except being discriminated."
