Lots of time on the tarmac at both ends. LOTS of crew announcements that didn’t need to be made.
The flight was ok, the baggage claim took almost 2 hours. :(

Delayed with no updates and zero taking care of passengers
Crew was arrogant and obnoxious. Wouldn’t help me pick up trash and another poured coffee on me twice, with one pathetic “sorry”. Flight attendants had so much baggage that passengers couldn’t find space in the overhead compartments causing a significant delay in our departure. In bound aircraft was late arriving from Haiti exasperating the situation. Based on this trip I would not recommend jet blue to anyone

Cons: "Jet Blue provided 5 sequential delay messages over an hour. Their inability to better estimate departure is disappointing. The real problem is that delay was caused directly by the airline's incompetence. There were no weather issues, the takeoff spots were available. They simply failed to load snacks. Although there WAS a minor prior delay bc a slightly late plane arrival, we eventually were delayed about an extra hour to supply snacks on a 4-hr flight. Given the ground crew had EXTRA time to load and also considering the tiny set of options offered, this is senseless. Further, b/c they ran out of overhead bins, they offered to GATE check my luggage. This was essentially a lie - they put it with checked bags, unlike the gate checked items I watched others retrieve. The combination of these errors led me to arrive at the car rental desk after closure. This caused me to incur a taxi fare, so spend 30 min or so working out an alternative rental the following day, and then yet ANOTHER cab to the Car Desk to get the car. This is the only time in my hundred or so car rentals anything like this has happened. I will certainly think twice (or more) before booking Jet Blue again."

Cons: "Annoying and time consuming to discover that I couldn’t check in for my flight anywhere besides the counter at JFK because I had two layovers and that JetBlue and Hawaiian had completely different itineraries for me. And then when the flight attendant who checked me in mocked my 2 layover itinerary and said there was a direct flight to HNL from JFK leaving later that morning, she at least could have tried to sell me a seat on that flight, rather than rudely laugh at me “I guess you can only do what you can do” like I was too poor or something. That was annoying. I’m bored of the JetBlue snack selection it’s been the same for years."

Cons: "To start, the plane was delayed due to inflight crew getting in late which is fine.. but our departure time never updated and the attendants were transparent but never mentioned a new time. After onboarding we got stuck on the tarmac due to traffic. Flight took off with turbulence to start and finally after 45 mins we got bottles of water. I asked crew if they would come around with more... I was starving and also have the perk of free alcoholic beverages in flight. I was offered neither and we only received chips 1+ hour into the flight. One of our TVs broke and the crew wasn’t helpful in an alternative... Overall worst Jetblue exp I’ve had to date, and I’ve flown with them a lot due to my Mosaic status.."

Cons: "From the time I got to the gate 90 minutes before flight to the time I got off it was terrable. Delays before boarding with no explanation then the same continued onboarding. First it was waiting for bags. Strange when there's a 2 hour+ delay that all the bags weren't there? Then waiting for paperwork followed by the part they needed was incorrect and a new one was on it's way from the hanger.. Finally departed 1 hour plus later. The plane was an old cattle car. Free TV didn't work right, so at did not recline (no it wasn't an exit row.). Most of the crew and gate attendants were rude and indifferent except for on flight attendant. The entire row of seats didn't recline at all. She was very apologetic and acknowledged it was uncomfortable especially on a 5+hour flight. She did offer us something to eat, blankets earbud. Still my back was killing me upon arrival at Phoenix. JEt Blue. Get your act together. This is unacceptable."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 6hrs 30 mins and changed departure gate twice. At no point was there a gate change announcement overhead (there were gate change announcements made for flights to Bermuda, Boston and San Francisco). During the boarding process many people stood and went in before their group was called, one agent noticed it and told the agent checking the boarding passes “all of these people are group A?” To which the other agent replied: “no, but I can’t do anything about it”. If there are group assignments, they need to honor that, as some people pay to board earlier."

Pros: "The crew was great, and so was a JetBlue pilot dead-heading in the seat next to me. I liked the space in the MoreSpace seat I paid for. I relieved that the upgrade seat came with boarding in the first group. Some airlines you pay for the seat, but you're still group 3 or 4 and, meaning all sorts of anxiety about the most miserable part of any flight, the dreaded fight for the overhead bins, wondering it you'll have to check the bag and then wait for it at the destination. Thank you for removing that."

We were suppose to arrive at our destination at twenty minutes after midnight, and instead did not arrive until 2:30 a.m. You felt like the pilot got on the plane when you did with no planning involved on how to get to Austin. I later learned that Jet Blue has the worst on time record of all the airlines. And you got nothing to compensate you for the inconvenience. I am really disappointed in Kayak for not making it known on our ticket that we were flying from New York to Austin on Jet Blue. When buying my tickets on Kayak, it appeared on my itinerary that all my flights were on Iceland Air. It was very confusing to me, as I don't travel very frequently. And airport staff is not very helpful when you are in this situation. Due to all the confusion, I will probably use another airline search tool for my next trip to see if I can lessen the confusion."
Pros: "Seating is spacious, food was okay, entertainment was sufficient but not the best. Overall I was impressed with Jet Blue and will most likely fly with them again in future."
Cons: "Didn't like a huge argument taking place between one family which held the flight up by at least 30 minutes. The crew were very patient with this family, but the passengers were not. I think the family should have been removed and asked to take another flight so that my flight could leave on time. It made everyone very nervous because we didn't know to what extent this conflict would escalate, so we had to sit listening to 3 or 4 members of the family arguing and constantly removing passports from luggage and going back and forth in and out of the plane. One member of this family actually entered the cockpit, which unnerved me because of the risks with terrorists these days. The family appeared to be of muslim descent."
Cons: "I was delayed half a dozen times, only to be canceled. Rescheduled on a flight that was scheduled to depart two hours before the original flight. Rescheduled after an hour hold. That flight was delayed the following day. Was diverted to Baltimore only to find out only some of us on our flight are getting out by a rude agent. Then no information at all. Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled."

And you couldn't even turn the damned thing off so it glowed in your face all through the overnight flight. In short, a terribly boring 6.5 hours aloft in terribly uncomfortable seats."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours because of air conditioning malfunctioning on the plane. We sat on the tarmac for almost two and a half hours, and it must have been around 85 degrees on the plane. There was a lot of miscommunication about whether we would be switching aircraft. They finally told us to deplane because we were probably going to switch planes. After 15 minutes in the terminal, we reboarded the same plane. Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."
Pros: "My child had a very good escorted flight the attendants were very attentive and knowledgeable of my child's needs I highly recommend and if anyone needs an escorted flight they definitely will not regret it"

Cons: "First thing, when i arrived to check my bags the lady giving help was useless, i was really stressed and i asked her some questions and she was answering upset, then i found a guy who help me to do my things there. In the boarding there wasn't any space for my things, my carry on bag and my personal item .. i was trying to get some help to one of the guys working inside the plane because the top compartment was full, when i ask him he just say that space is for all in the plane isn't suppose to be space for you there if some other guest took it.. I was really upset because i paid for my flight ticket and it was included my carry on and my personal item.. otherwise i know there is more people in the plane but is not like i brought more things than the ones i paid for... if you don't have capacity for all the guest you should say it before... The flight was delayed with an hour.."

Cons: "Flight was over two hours late. No excuse was given. Original Departure time was 9:30pm. Was receiving alerts beginning from that morning notifying of delays which continued as I waited at the airport that night. This seems to happen frequently and nothing is ever done to make it up to travelers. On the plane, the audio for the tv had static so you couldn't actually hear anything. It doesn't seem like you can turn the tvs off, which is annoying as they emit light, so if you want to sleep you have to deal with the light from your tv."

And the gate people allowed them to do so I had to be the one to say excuse me we were here 1st. On top of that when we landed back in NY I heard my stroller get tossed and discovered when I got home it was broke. So upset!!!"

Cons: "Everything about the stews reflected that they'd much rather be somewhere else. Boarding was made into a ceremony worthy of the Papal Stations of the Cross - for God's sake, you were only boarding 40-odd people! Food...??? You're willing to SELL me junk food, water?!!! Far and away the worst aspect of this flight, though, was the ticket counter personnel, timing, process-boundness. A. the counter did not open until 0930 for an 1130 flight....you require me to be present 2 hours prior to takeoff, yet your people are not available to service B. the woman at the counter forced me to check luggage that I have carried onboard aircraft all over the world with no flack from anybody, my protestations notwithstanding C. she then explained that our checked luggage could and would not be checked through to our final destination and when I protested that I had had no such issues coming east and could not understand why we were having this conversation, she referred me to "policy." Malarkey. Want to hear something funny? The bags ended up being checked all the way, making my departure from the secure area to claim my bags at JFK pointless, and necessitating my submitting to security lines and scrutiny once again. As I said to my wife at the time of this debacle, if Aer Lingus is the only airline flying US-UK and a rowboat is my only alternative, please pass me the oars."

Waited at gate after boarding for almost 2 hours so the catering truck could replenish the plane so u would think they could be more hospitable since our flight was not full."

Old plane. Zero leg room. Dour staff. Turn lighting on repeatedly on redeye - spend half the time making useless announcements. Impossible to sleep even if you were in 1st class.
I had to cancel my trip because of COVID delta. My brother who I visiting got scared and didn’t want me to visit. I paid for insurance that you provided through your site. Allianz hidden in terms that canceling because of COVID fear isn’t covered. I was never offered insurance through delta on your site witch I would have bought. Delta isn’t even giving me a credit for a flight and keep my money. What a scam and I’m very disappointed in the services I received.
Boarding was on time (if not a little early). The flight was unfortunately not properly catered for snack boxes in main cabin. This is likely a one off instance, but it’s a long flight for no food options other than pretzels and Biscoffs. Service was attentive and friendly. This particular flight offered Delta’s DeltaOne lay flat first class seats. Would highly recommend. Flight left on time and arrived early!

Cons: "After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."

Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Pros: "I paid 60 bucks for an emergency row exit, take get some extra leg room and space so that I would be fresh when I arrived in Munich. However KLM allowed a passenger — who did not pay for the emergency row to sit next to me because he needed the extra space because he was a liarge man, and clearly didn’t fit very well in the economy seats. Thus I I lost all the extra space and actually would of preferred a regular economy seat. that would’ve been more preferential then paying $60 and getting less space than I would’ve had it in a regular economy. I understand the other passengers comfort was important and if that was the case he should’ve paid $60 as well."

Cons: "It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

Cons: "The positives don’t even come close to offsetting the misery of Delta’s seats. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so cramped and uncomfortable. I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration."

Then we proceeded to baggage claim and waited a few minutes and one of our 2 bags was there. The crew member then said "that's everything. If you're missing bags come see us." Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to."

Cons: "OMG! The seats are obnoxiously close together. I could only sit perfectly upright and even then my knees were pressed tightly against the seat in front of me. I am only 5'7". Impossible to rest due to lack of space. I tried to put my head down on my tray table but couldn't since it hit the seat in front of me. Mid flight my 13 year old daughter got back spasms. Upon arrival we could barely walk and looked like two old women limping down the jetway. No idea how a tall or larger person could have even sat down."

Cons: "That we had to sleep like homeless people on the floor of JFK airport as the airline was not able to provide for a crew and therefore cancelled the flight. The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed due to aircraft issues making us 2 hours late for vacation. THIS IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY! I literally put blood, sweat and many many tears into this trip. The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."

Cons: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."

Cons: "I didn't like that I had to take a bus to my terminal. I didn't like the fact that my gate was changed more than five times. I didn't like that my flight time was changed more than 15 times with no reason why until boarding time. I didn't like the fact that I did not get a seat assignment until boarding the plane. I didn't like the fact that they couldn't manage to scramble another plane and crew, but instead forced us to wait over four hours for one that was stuck somewhere else in the country."
Pros: "On my ticket it clearly indicate that I am entitled to 2 check in baggage. Delta completely refused to honor this. They said am only entitled 1 piece, and therefore I have to pay for the other luggage. I was forced to borough money from someone at the airport just so that I could board the flight."

My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."
Pros: "I didn't like anything about this flight. Only benefit of the doubt is the 2 hour delay as a runway in SF had shut down."
Cons: "We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."
Pros: "Pretty much nothing related to the entertainment system... It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Cons: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."

Cons: "I bought the tickets through a third party website. Therefore, our seats were not assigned until the last minute, and once they were assigned, they were published in a screen with our initials. This practice was discriminatory and violateed our rights for privacy, We even felt that it could put our security in risk. I believe that one thing is not to allow clients to choose seats in advace because they bought the ticket through a third party website, and another thing is to discriminate an treat those clients as "second class" people. When I asked the person in the counter for the reasons behind this practice, she could only say it was Delta's policy to do it that way. In that sense I was very surprised with the practice because i bought an Airfrance ticket (not a Delta one) and I had travelled before in both airlines (Airfrance and Delta) and I had never experienced a situation like the one described. I strongly believe that Delta needs to review this practice."
Cons: "The gate for the connecting flight from NY to Rome wasn't posted at the terminal or available via the Delta aps. The Kayak AP didn't have it either. I found out late that it was practially at a different airport. With less than an hour I had to take a bus to a different terminal, walk through, exit onto the street, cross the street and walk down the block to a different terminal. Then I had to re-enter through security (where the line was wrapped back to the front doors). Had the flight not been delayed for mechanical issues I would have missed it. My flights were purchased through Delta. If Delta uses different airlines they should post gate information on their web sites."
Loved the first class seats. More room to stretch out. Fast boarding.
Didn’t get to go as David is in the hospital. Unexpected emergency but not covid. Couldn’t get refund because we were on reduced fare without insurance. He is still hospitalized.

Cons: "When I bought my ticket, I didn't realize I would have to pay $35 to put a bag in the overhead compartment and $35 to check a bag; only a personal item under the seat in front of me was free (came with the ticket price). This resulted in the ticket being at least $70 more expensive than I anticipated. Probably could have gotten a cheaper flight overall. Also, the plane was 2 hours and 45 minutes late in taking odf, resulting in landing 1:00 am. I picked my flight time deliberately to avoid flying after about 11:30 pm. With the lateness of the flight, I probably could again have gotten a cheaper flight that was scheduled to land in the wee hours of the morning. Finally, the complimentary food was non-existent - didn't even get a cookie or small bag of pretzels. Did get a free drink and water."

Cons: "We arrived early at recommended time. The line was so long that by the time our family of 6 reached the front, they had put us on standby for 8 hours later, then that flight was delayed. SunCountry owes me not only what I paid for tickets, but also for my PTO used, my spouse’s PTO and the expenses incurred which include food and the UBer because the car rental will be closed by the time we arrive. This may include the extra expense now of a hotel night at our destination. I could not be more disgusted."

Pros: "The seats are closer together - by my measurement 10 in between the back of the sone in front of me and my armrest. Luggage is checked luggage is $25; on my flight to Minneapolis, my luggage was lost for 30 hrs and wet on the inside when my daughter picked it up the next afternoon. It was not raining when our flight took off from NYC. The seats seem thinner on the cushion and if someone puts their seat in front of you, even slightly, it is very cramped. The flight was about 1/2 hour late taking off with what I counted as at least 10 planes ahead of us - most domestic - SW, other SunCountry and Delta. I have flown Sun Country periodically for the last 10 years. Now, I am done for all the reasons listed above. I have flown on other airlines this year and other than Alaska this was the least comfortable - actually it occured to me in an emergency it would have been very difficult to get out of my row. I understand this is a business - just not interested in buying from it."
Cons: "On July 7th, I was flying from JFK to MSP and then from MSP to PDX. Somewhere on the way, Sun Country Airlines lost my bag and they don't seem to have any idea where it might be. I was forced to spend my entire vacation without my bag. It's been 16 days, we called the baggage services office several times, wrote e-mails, even talked to someone in person in the MSP office and yet nobody's able to help. All we got were promises for a call back about the status of the claim, but nobody ever calls or responds to e-mails. I'm extremely disappointed and will call DOT and FAA if I don't get a response very soon."

Cons: ""Lowest fairs!!" and then on check in they nickel and dime you with extra costs for even a carry on AND to choose a seat that you already bought!! I mean, you don't have to. You could always just wait until check in at the airport and get thrown into a middle seat. Saving extra money was what pushed me over the edge here, but after all the fees after booking was paid for and experience, I would have gladly paid the extra money to fly Alaska Airlines. Also, you would think on a 5.5 hr flight that occurs over/near dinner time there would be more food options than just snack packs. Even that was mediocre."
Cons: "Flight was late leaving to MSP and on the return flight to San Francisco, we had to sit and wait 40+ mins just to get into the hanger. It was late and very disappointing!!! They don't serve any snacks and didn't come around with refreshments except once. They charge for carry on's, $40.00!! Huge rip off! They charge to rent DVD player. I will NOT fly with them again. Delta has all the above mentioned for free, they will be who I fly with from now on, they are MUCH more professional and customer service oriented and on time!."

Cons: "I paid for my ticket, but when I went to check in the day before my flight there were fees I had to pay that I was not aware of and had no choice but to do so. They do not offer and free carryon bag. If you pay online you have to pay an extra $30 for a carryon item or $20 for a checked bag. These fees apply to your destination and your flight home as well. On top of that, you have to pay for your seat. All in all I was not happy with my experience with sun country. I am normally not someone who writes poor reviews, but this was definitely the worst airline I’ve ever used."

Instead, 2 of the flight attendants joined in the loud chants and cheers. The flight attendants attitude was disappointing, and unprofessional. Their motto should be "Party Plane". About 12 loud and obnoxious party goers made it a miserable flight. One flight attendant asked them to quiet down. Two flight attendants joined in with the partying and yelled and chanted along with them. One flight attendant ignored the situation."

Cons: "I typically fly Delta but thought I would give Sun Country a try and I am so sorry I did. The Delta flight I almost booked was about the same price and offered free carry on luggage, snacks, and the customer service on Delta is always superb. On Sun Country, they didn’t communicate all the hidden fees like $60 for carry on luggage if you book in advance and $90 at the gate. They also didn’t communicate their airline policies (i.e. they won’t print your boarding pass unless it’s more than 45 minutes before your boarding time, even at a small airport where takes $10 minutes to get through security). The flight attendants also were clearly unhappy working for the airline and that showed in their level of customer service."

Why can't you be like United. Let me check in and select my already paid for seat online and pay for my bag ahead of time! Then all I have to do is get my baggage checked at a kiosk and drop it off with a baggage agentband go through TSA and to my gate. Keep it simple stupid Suncountry."
Cons: "The plane has already been reconfigured with new seats to fit more. They were uncomfortable. All pricing has changed to something similar to Spirit airlines. I am going to miss the old SunCountry airlines."
Pros: "The crew and all employees were great and very accommodating."
Cons: "Sun Country now does a bait and switch. After you buy your ticket you learn that you have to pay for all your baggage and more money for your seat if you want to check in online. So no one checks in online and the line at the airport is about a half hour. If you ask, the employees will tell you how depressed they are since the airline was purchased last fall."
Pros: "The crew were nice and professional and efficient"
Cons: "We had to deplane and switch to another aircraft after boarding was complete the first time. We arrived almost two hours late, in the middle of the night, I was really hungry by then. Some complimentary snacks or something would have gone a long way to making it up to us. I had screaming children behind me and I know that's not entirely the airline's fault, butthe delay contributed significantly to the children's misery and thus ours, and the in-flight announcements were way too loud; they woke them up abruptly and started tantrums in several places throughout the cabin."
Pros: "The flight crew was pleasant. The refreshments were great along with the carry on bags and seat selection when buying tickets."
Cons: "The plane was to hot. There were lots of passengers complaing about the heat. We also had to wait on the runway to take off for 40 minutes. The course of the flight was also uncomfortable due to certain passengers that wouldn't cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing. I even offered the individual cough drops and they had denied them and continued hacking. Then when landing in Orlando we had to wait to be taken to our gate. We were told that we were supposed to go to gate 97 but there was an American Aircraft in that location so we had to wait for another gate for 20 minutes. I know those last 2 events aren't really under the control of Sun Country, but still it was a pain."
Cons: "We ran into a combination of traffic, parking, and other issues that drove us to arrive at our check-in at 7pm for a 7:40pm flight. We were not able to check-in given the 45 min rule. NO WHERE in our email did it say there was this rule nor were we prompted or told to check-in prior to our flight online. There's no suncountry app for check-in that we could find (only a visa one). We booked through priceline.The flight hadn't even started boarding and we were not allowed to check-in. We were re-booked on a flight that left two hours later, but that flight was delayed 3 hours. The whole thing essentially took one full night of paid hotel and fun in Vegas away costing us over $200 just in hotel plus we spent an extra 5 hours in an airport that didn't have a bar open past 9pm."
Pros: "I generally like sun country so I hope the feedback gets heard because you are usually my favorite airline. Notification early about flight delays we good."
Cons: "Flight 103 was supposed to be at 1:30. Delayed at 10 or 11 am to 3:08. A little in the day to have a major delay putting us into Vegas right at rush hour with higher taxi pricing and headache. Once we were at the airport the delays continued. We didn't finish boarding the plane until after 330. And then had to sit on the tarmac while they tried to squeeze us in. Then landing you could tell we were circling airport while they tried to find a spot for us to land, either that or it was a bad route because it involved a lot of sharp turns. We landed almost two hours late, which for a 48 hour Vegas trip is harsh. All we got in return was an apology. Usually other airlines will at least give you the full can of pop or something minor to off set the bigger inconvience."

Cons: "Flight was 2:00 hours late, which felt even longer because my in-bound flight on Thursday was 1:30 hours late. They didn't really explain why it was late. They just said "traffic in the NYC area," which could mean anything. I didn't get a ticket until the gate, which I hate. And because the flight was delayed, I never got a ticket until we boarded. The only good thing was they gave me an exit row, which was comfortable and allowed me to get on the plane first. But that was just luck. Probably not flying Sun Country again."
Pros: "The headrest were nice, no neck pillow was needed because of how I could adjust it. Checking in was very quick and painless, something I appreciate very much. Drink service was nice, they did come around more then expected. The staff was very nice an accommodating , very friendly when we boarded the plane."
Cons: "Seats were very uncomfortable. I brought my husband for his first flight and I had told him how comfortable flying was, but when we boarded the plane he was a little horrified about the seats. He said, "they look like metal skeletons with pleather stretched over them." Yikes, I was a little embarrassed for telling him how comfortable he would be. I usually fly coach and I guess I was surprised not to find better seats and screens for movies attached to the back of the headrest (that sounds terribly spoiled, sorry)."
Pros: "The boarding method went the quickest of all flights I've been on for both flights. Check-in in MSP was quick and some of the attendants were friendly based on what I overheard. Staff in SAN was friendly."
Cons: "A new mom was in the aisle walking to keep her baby quiet and to stretch her legs (after the drink, snack, and trash carts had gone by) and had her back to a flight attendant also coming down the aisle. She was talking to another parent on the flight when the attendant came behind her and told the woman, "Excuse me. Some of us are still working." Her tone was suuuuper rude and uncalled for. A friendly "excuse me, please" would have been just fine and would have gotten the job done. I went to the bathroom a couple minutes later and the attendant was on her break and eating, so maybe she was hangry, but still! Seats were uncomfortable on both flights, but not as bad as Spirit Airlines. I had bad low back pain afterwards, even after getting up to walk partway through the flight. This is something I've experienced on a couple other airlines too, but the legroom on planes has gotten worse. For those of us with long legs, it's a huge pain. I'm 5'9", so I can't imagine how it is for someone taller. The legroom on Sun Country was just as bad as other flights. Probably a strange complaint, but the seat back pocket had a bar running in the hem, so when I put my water bottle inside, the entire pocket stuck out as far as my water bottle. This meant I had to choose between having the pocket rub against my knees or hold my water bottle between my thighs. Neither were ideal. The check-in in San Diego was painfully slow. There were three people standing there, but only one person seemed to be checking people in. The staff was friendly here. A Sun Country employee at MSP told a man he had to check his carry-on suitcase because the wheels stuck out of Sun Country's tiny metal carry-on test box a CENTIMETER. I kid you not. Absolutely ridiculous. I saw much larger luggage come onto the flight. The woman who checked me in was quick but I wasn't able to ask any questions before being sent away. No free snacks or entertainment which seem to be included on most other similarly priced airlines. The food for purchase (burgers and Jimmy Johns or something) made the plane smell bad. I asked for coffee with cream and sugar as my complimentary drink and was given the powdered creamer packets. Fine, okay, I understand if that's all they have, but then I saw them walking through the aisle later offering coffee and they had creamer cups in their aprons! No one asked me which kind I wanted. :("
Cons: "Arrived at check in at 6:00 for a 6:40 flight, was told it was too late to check in and board so I did not get on the flight! There was no other Sun Country flight until the next day and there was no attempt made to accommodate the fact that I had to get back to D.C that night.... and I was not offered any partial credit for the ticket! I realize I should've arrived much earlier but I did try to check in online prior to arriving at the airport however their online check in process only gave me the option of paying an additional $15 fee to choose my seat, which I did not think I should have had to since I'd already paid for the flight and didn't care where I sat. I ended up buying a one way FULL PRICE ticket on another airline and it took less than 5 minutes to go through security and arrive at the gate by 6:25"
Pros: "It was a direct flight."
Cons: "We were late departing and arriving, which created a problem for a meeting I had to attend. On top of already being late the exiting of the aircraft was poor. No announcement was made for wheel chair people to wait until the end, and naturally held up the exiting of the aircraft. This was my first experience on Sun Country and the flight attendants allowed people to use the bathroom in the front of the aircraft, but at hour 3.00 when i walked up to use it - i was then told to go to the back. After I watched many people for HOURS freely use it. Not just when the cart was in the aisle either. Just not consistent in their directions and follow through making it confusing for passengers. There was no wifi, so I couldn't work and there was no entertainment on board. I won't be flying Sun country again."

Pros: "This was my first time flying SunCountry, and I felt like it was significantly better than most domestic airlines that I have been on. For example, I would choose to fly SunCountry before Delta or United ANY day. So thank you for a pleasant flight."
Cons: "My ticket was flagged for security reasons, and was not discovered until I was boarding the flight. As a government employee, I completely understand randomly checking passengers for TSA. However, the gate agent refused to tell me what was going on or even say that I needed to go through security again. I didn't mind that I had to do this...everybody has a job to do. But I did not appreciate the rudeness of the gate agent. I also did not appreciate that TSA did not catch the information on my ticket when I went through security almost 3 hours prior to the ordeal. While I understand that this sounds like a TSA issue, my issue is more centralized with the gate agent. She was nice enough to talk to the pilot and hold the flight for me, since clearly I wasn't a security concern and I was cooperative...however, her attitude and refusal to explain to me why I had been stopped at the gate was unacceptable. When I passed through screening (because obviously I was not a threat), she didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. I still have no received a full explanation for what exactly happened...my best assumption is that it was a random flag on the ticket for passengers. Her lack of apology and lack of reasoning for the situation left me confused, and delayed the already delayed flight by another 40 minutes. While I reviewed the Boarding as "OK" given that I was still have to get on my flight, I am nervous about flying SunCountry again due to the way the situation was handled by the gate agent."
Pros: "The crew was great--very pleasant and attentive. Flight was smooth with an easy landing."
Cons: "At the Sun Country desk in Minneapolis they told me they couldn't check my bag all the way through to San Francisco because they didn't have an arrangement with Virgin America. I learned in Las Vegas after claiming injury checking my bag that they do have an arrangement, and that agent just didn't know about it. Kayak should never have allowed me to book a ticket where I had to re-check my bag and go through security again without a big warning, so I'm unhappy about that. Additionally, it seems like Sun Country needs to get his ducks in order regarding baggage agreements. The change in Las Vegas was stressful and involved switching terminals as well – not ideal."
Pros: "Nice flight attendants."
Cons: "The flight was about an hour late taking off and boarding was interrupted part way through the process so there were some people sitting in the plane for all this time and some people sitting inside the airport boarding area for all this time. No explanation whatsoever was given about what was going on. The aisles on the plane were so narrow that I could just barely roll my carry-on bag down it. The head of the guy sitting in front of me was almost in my lap. I couldn't even lower my tray table all the way down to a flat position to set my beverage upon because his seat was so close to mine. When the flight was almost to its destination, we had to circle the airport for awhile because Obama was landing at this time too. We were never told of this possibility until it actually happened. Why not ? We arrived about an hour and a half later than our scheduled time. With all these inconveniences to us, absolutely nothing complimentary was given to us passengers to make up for their incompetence and how our travel plans may have been disrupted. This was a bad experience and my last with Sun Country."
Cons: "Couldn't check-in online due to unknown "server error". The guy at the airport said they had a system failure the previous night - no info on the site though, so we've lost 45 minutes retrying check in online. The plane itself was definetely not renovated for quite some time (the interior). Not too comfy seats, but had worse. Boarding was a bit unusual - they're splitting the passengeres to maaaaaany groups - military, no carry-on luggage, disabled, with kids, with carry on to put under the plane, first class and finally the regulars... Not sure if that actually speeds up the process, seems officious.. Plane was 30min late at destination."
Pros: "I thought the flight attendants (a gentleman in first class, also a woman for the first part) were perfectly lovely. I always feel a little silly asking for things, but I never felt like I was a burden. The gentleman was very pleasant and thoughtful (he was reluctant to wake my husband to put his seatback up before landing), and the food was surprisingly good."
Cons: "Right above my seat in 1A, the luggage bin above me was coming apart at the seam, and something gunky seemed to be coming out of it. There was some dampness on the wall in front of me. Also, the part my husband and I both lamented was the fact that being in the first row, we couldn't have bags at our feet for landing. Which we COMPLETELY understand and are happy to comply with. However, the luggage bin directly above us should have been empty and available for us to use. That was not the case, since the flight attendants used those two bins above the FIRST two rows, on BOTH sides of the aisle for their luggage. We had to put our bags above the third row, so that upon departure, we had to excuse ourselves through people standing in the aisle and hand our luggage back up to the front. It's annoying to us and annoying to people in the 2nd and 3rd rows to have us jostling past. The flight attendants should have a special closet just for them, not taking up valuable real estate for guests' luggage. OR, the flight attendants should use the back of the First Class luggage compartments, since they will be deplaning after us anyway. Just a thought. Please consider. Thank you! Cons: "From the time we were waiting for the plane, the attendants at the airport gate came across rude / and threatening when asking for people to check their carry-ons. While we had no carry-ons it was very striking as I have never heard this kind of communication in decades of traveling with different airlines. While on the plane, we sat in the absolute back seat, and also caught "attitude" of attendants when they communicated to one another about the carry-ons they were holding for the agent. Eye-rolling and tone. These frustrations should not be aired to customers."
Pros: "I would like to comment on a flight attendant named Jordan. Once beverage service began, she was an ideal flight attendant: bright, effervescent, personable, attentive, even solicitous. But..."
Cons: "...in the hour preceding beverage service, she sat in the rear galley and talked NON-STOP. She seems to have a very strident, penetrating voice. In fact, other passenger (not me) even asked for quiet so that he could sleep. In her defense, she cut the volume in half, but that wasn't enough to keep the back rows from overhearing her running commentary (maybe it's the fault of the acoustics in the back of the plane) on a thousand inane topics—when does the woman breathe?. I'm certain that she was hired for her sunny, outgoing personality, but she needs to realize that passengers who board a plane for a 7 a.m. departure are looking to make up for sleep lost to getting to the airport in time for TSA. Until 8 a.m. sullen and silent would be preferable to nice but noisy."
Pros: "Booked this flight months before I took it on KAYAK. Got to the airport and saw the sign that said "ask about our affordable upgrades". I asked and it was totally affordable. I bumped myself up to 1st class on both flights for $280 total and it was absolutely amazing. The flight staff was so attentive, the food was great and they were not shy about making sure I was getting enough to drink. Overall, this was a great airline that seemed to actually care about the people on the plane as opposed to other 1st class experiences I have had where people try to get the most out of you for the least amount of effort. Sky Country took the time to make me feel like I was worth it and that made all the difference. Would 100% recommend."
Pros: "Staff were friendly, at the curbside check-in, ticket desk, gate and on the flight. The airport had free (but slow) wifi for 45 minute sessions. There were tables by the gate (MSP H1) where you could sit down and charge and work on your laptop. The plane was full so they offered passengers to get their bags checked for free (and gave them priority after first class & families with infants) The person at the gate was able to change my middle seat to an isle seat. At least during the delays we were not in the plane sitting on the tarmac but in a reasonably spacious terminal."
Cons: "They advised that I needed to be at the airport 2 hours before the flight, when I am used to 30 minutes with no check-in luggage. The best online check-in didn't work. I was inexplicably 'restricted' so I needed to speak to a supervisor in order to check-in (maybe because of the problem with online check in? They couldn't tell me why). The outbound flight was delayed two hours. There was no free food or snacks on the flight, only a cup of soft drink with ice (a third of a regular sized can), so I just chewed my ice for the remainder of the flight. There was no entertainment nor wifi on the flight. They also seem to have some unusual rules - no laptops in the seat back pocket, no alcohol unless it is purchased on board, no use of cellular devices after the door is closed (flight safe mode ok)"

Have had many national, international flights with this airline and have never been disappointed; although the seat bottoms could be a bit more comfortable. But all in all, can't be beat for service and pricing"

Did not see any way to order a vegan meal during the ticket purchase or checkin process. There were no vegan meal options offered on the plane making the trip a long hungry one. Other than that, the crew was very good and the flight was very smooth and on time.
Older plane. I have never EVER had a problem with seat belt length (I need to lose some weight but I am not excessively large) but my seat had a very short one - looked like it needed replacing.
It left on time and arrived a few minutes early. The whole process of checking in, seating (got my upgrade thankfully!), and the meals (superb multi-grain healthy salad) were great. It arrived on time (actually a few minutes early). American continue to keep up its promise of customer service. I love being part of the American traveller family.

Unfortunately this was after landing from Milan at 1.30 with two small children so we had already had a very long day. We absolutely never would have booked this flight itinerary had we known of the change."
Cons: "I am beyond stunned that our flight itinerary was changed from 3.30pm to 9.20pm with no notification. This is absolutely unreasonable and inexcusable made even worse that we had already had a very long journey from Milan to JFK with two small children. Evidently the issue was that we booked via a 3rd party off the kayak site and not directly with British airways. When American airways changed the flight from 3.30 to 3.25, the 3rd party company failed to file for our updated itinerary so British air/American air bumped us to the next flight at 9.20pm. We have long been loyal to kayak feeling it provides the best breadth of options and good pricing. Now we may use kayak to see all the options but I can’t booking directly with kayak anymore after this complete disaster. We ended up renting a car and driving from jfk to Boston, getting home 23 hours after our journey had started, stressed, beyond exhausted and now have to return the rental car. Thanks kayak."

Cons: "The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good."
Cons: "We left two hours after scheduled departure bc 1) the plane was late from prior flight and had to be cleaned, 2) engine check delayed the flight, 3) strong winds forced the airport (JFK) to use only one runway for departures and so on top of our plane delays we were delayed an extra half hour bc of airplane traffic. No entertainment onboard, meaning no screen on back of seat in front for movies, tv shows, etc. Food options were poor, especially breakfast (too much sugar content in all contents of “continental breakfast” pack."

Cons: "Business class, Boeing 767-300 The seating configuration was 1/2/1 I would give these seats on a scale from 1 to 10 a 5, this was a very basic B/C seat, without a TV screen integrated to the seat in front of you, instead the flight crew hand out individual passenger entertainment systems, that are a pain to deal with and get in the way of everything your trying to do (ie eat, work, sleep.) I’m only 5’9 and I found when the seat was in the bed mode, the seat slopped down very slightly, and your feet would end up underneath the side table to the row of seats in front of you. As i wear a size 13 shoe, i found that space to be rather cramped especially for my feet."

EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, esp since all other flights to DC out of JFK were cancelled. 2) We were on the last row of the plane so our seats didn’t recline. Annoying at best bc the flight was so short, but would have been nice since we had been traveling for 18 hours by that point (because of the late flight, missed connection, cancelled JFK flights, etc)."
Cons: "The e-ticket did not include the terminal information. As it was an Iberia flight I went to the terminal 7 where Iberia operates. However, after waiting on line when I got to the counter the attendant informed me that the flight was operated by American Airlines and I had to go to terminal 8. I ran to terminal 8 but by the time I got to the check in it was 6:15 and they said they said the check-in for the flight at 7(which was actually at 6:55pm) was closed for check-in. I was lucky enough that there was another Iberia flight (this one from terminal 7) st 8:30pm and the supervisor was able to find me a spot in that flight."

This changed the terminal I was to go to and the gate in which our Italian non-english speaking driver was to meet us at. This impacted seating selection, as well. Was forced to buy a premium seat when I realized the seating chart did not appear when I purchased the tickets. Also, flight was three hours late upon arrival. I understand safety is paramount and am grateful we eventually were able to find another plane, but it begs to speculate if things would have been smoother on a BA plane."

To top it off, the plane was very smelly; I got a headache because of it. We also had to return to the gate due to a technical issue and ended up leaving almost two hours late, which defeated the purpose of picking this flight over the rest as it was the one that was supposed to land in Milan the earliest. I will be careful next time I pick a flight to check what kind of airplane they're using. My assumption that international flights have the best airplanes seems to be wrong :(."

The worst part about this flight was that I traveled with my girlfriend and when I went to check in, 24 hours before, there were only single seats left and there were so many open seats together that were considered “preferred” and had to pay $80 for just one “preferred” seat just so we can sit together on an 8 hour long flight. The seat didn’t even have any extra legroom or anything, it was a normal seat. American Airlines is just trying to squeeze money out of anything they can."

Cons: "Flight delayed by 5 hours last minute, making my layover 17 hours long. The delay caused my car rental place to give away my reservation so I had to wait an additional 2.5 hours to get a rental car. The primary reason for my travel was a wedding and although I made the actual wedding, I missed most of the pre-wedding activities that I had rsvped for. The seats were really uncomfortable, particularly the lack of low back support. I was very sore after the flight and was unable to sleep despite having been awake for over 24 hours prior to the flight. We were finally given meal tickets but was unable to use as everything closed at 10pm."
Cons: "I bought travel insurance as I do with any trip. I have a complicated family emergency that forced me to call off the trip. Being that I bought trip insurance, I felt good. Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!"

Cons: "The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them."
Cons: "Our flight was 3 + hours behind schedule. We didn't get to take off until around 11:30pm when our flight was supposed to take off at 7:05pm. I have missed my itinerary and cruise trip with family members. Now I have to wait 2 days to catch a cruise and reunite with my family in Italy. It's not fear that the airline don't take consideration for this kind of situation. We understand that Things happens and the airline takes precautions to make sure everything is okay before take off. However, I'm very frustrated and disappointed."
Cons: "My family and I make I JFK -LAX reservation 4 months ago. We came to LAX three hours before our flight to make sure we get good seats. At the checking kiosk we did not have the option to pick seats , there was a message on the boarding pass that said to go see boarding agent. So we did, appreantly they over booked the trip and they were looking for volunteers to give up their seats!! Why did we have to be on stand by if our booking was confirmed 4 months ago!! They made us wait until the gate was closed and then they found us seats . This trip caused us mental anguish I will never fly American Airlines again"

Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. When asked what was going on she responded "excuse me, I'll get to you when I get to you and thanks for your 'non attitude'" to the woman who asked her if she had any plans to greet us or even ackwnowledge us. Then the flight attendants became flustered as they realized they separated a 5 year old child and his father and sat the child in the emergency seat. When several of us attempted to help they were rude so when I put my headphones in to pass the time and didn't hear the woman ask if I was willing to sit in the emergency isle she snidely said "there's always one millenial not paying attention." Ummm.... I had my eyes closed and was listening to my music since they clearly wanted us to mind our own business and NOT try to help the father (meanwhile all of us strangers were trying to figure out how to rearrange in order to help). The only reason entertainment gets a 2 is bc I had good conversation with the passenger next to me, not because of anything United did. Really unbelievable that they continue to operate this way and treat PAYING customers like this. It's sad actually."
Pros: "Nice crew and ground staff. With the right credit card (United Explorer or better) boarding is a snap."
Cons: "Lack of personal space is a fact of life for air travel unless one can afford the good seats. Plus, why do I always sit behind a crying, screaming child? I know it's no fun for anyone involved and it's just part of life, but maybe next time I'll be more fortunate. Flying in economy is truly like riding in a very big Greyhound Bus! It beats driving, but not by much. I wish trains were more plentiful and affordable."
Cons: "Not sitting by my wife."
Pros: "The crew was the best part of the entire awful experience. The pilots let people tour the cockpit and the stewards were very accommodating considering their rules and restrictions. With so many delays, we were able to disembark the plane and come and go as we needed till we were able to finally board for takeoff."
Cons: "We all received updates every thirty minutes with a new departure time and each time we were supposed to depart, there was another delay. The first delay was caused by a seat cushion floating device not being on the plane (hour delay right there) and then for the next three and a half hours, we all were constantly being delayed due to rain. The rain was not their fault but had that cushion been properly stocked on the plane, we would have missed the storm and been on our way. A two-hour flight became an eight-hour hell. Not to mention, the plane itself smelled like a seedy bar bathroom, I had to tuck my legs underneath myself because there was absolutely no legroom, and my row mate was a belligerent drunk. Getting home at 5 am Monday morning and going straight to work was not ideal. Would have been nice to be home on the same day that my flight was scheduled."
Cons: "not that it is the fault of the airline, but it was turbulent flight"
Cons: "Boarding by group is ridiculous. Should be back of the plane people after kids & wheelchairs. One small bag of pretzels & a cup of drink. JetBlue gives many choices of snacks & whole can of drink. DirecTv - $7.99, JetBlue is free. We were a party of 3 that picked our seats to be together. Got to the airport & our seats were split up by desk clerk & she didn't even inform us of seat assignment change. She also put 2 of us in the Exit row without informing us. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible."
Cons: "Original flight booked was for 1:30. Week before changes to 5:30. Then 6:30. Arrive at the airport and flights delayed to 7. Then 730. 8. 830 etc etc etc til 11. No explanation. No food tickets. Rude responses like this gem: pointed out how long I was waiting with no word --> told by a united employee that he's been there since 7am. I point out he's bad to be there. He says he's not. I guess a united volunteer then? Then only handed out water since 'it's a short flight'. Useless."

Cons: "Changed gate to another terminal at the last minute, we made it on time buy with an infant and a toddler taking a bus in a raining day was tough."
Pros: "I enjoyed the heart warming and friendlyness of the pilot."
Cons: "The running nose sneezing person sitting next to me."
Pros: "Plane side checked bags. Kind flight crew."
Cons: "Perfect weather. Delayed an hour."
Cons: "Flight was delayed several times which meant I would miss my connecting flight. Rebooking was challenging and took over an hour. After it was supposedly rebooked on another airline, I couldn't check in because it wasn't booked correctly. Now sitting in airport for the last 10 hours and have another 5 hours until my flight. Not happy."
Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "If the seats get any closer or smaller they might as well double stack. I am of average height and weight so this is disappointing. The plane was sold out so it's not like UA is hurting"
Pros: "After many flights with United, I am always pleased with the level of customer service. I've only encountered friendly staff from the skycaps to the captains and everyone inbetween. I have never felt like I'm just a warm body filling a plane seat."
Cons: "I was two hours delayed from my originating terminal in Denver due to a snow storm overnight. I arrive into Houston two hours late only to re adjust my remaining flights back to Denver. Two days later. What was supposed to be a one day trip to get my kids to spend it with me in Colorado. Is now turning into a three day filled adventure in airports."
Cons: "I was in the center bulkhead seat with an very oversized man on the aisle seat with a "service dog". It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that."
Pros: "The crew was friendly, and overall flight was good"
Cons: "Half way through the movie I bought to watch on my screen there was an announcement made by the captain and when my movie came on the sound wouldn't work, the flight attendant just said sometimes that happens and I could try to ask for a refund."
Cons: "This was the flight from hell. Terrible uncomfortable seats. Could not get the monitor turned off and out of my eyes. Plus we were delayed 4 hours in this crappy airport only to get on a really crappy plane. We were supposed to arrive in Tampa before 10 but wound up getting in like a red eye at 1230 am. Lost out on our ride home and we were so exhausted. I cried most of this flight home 2 1/2 hour flight. Nice staff but crappy plane. I am waiting to get a call to get reimbursed for my loss of time at work and the missed ride home."
Pros: "Susan Smith at check in counter Reagan National was very helpful, kind and service-oriented. I hope you recognize the gem you have."
Cons: "Flight was delayed and gate agents appeared tired, agitated, and unhelpful."
Pros: "Evening flight. Crew wasn't the nicest but they were professional nonetheless. Flight itself was smooth but a bit of a bumpy landing (I think it was a bit windy so not surprised. It is Ch). Not the best flight but certainly not the worst either."
Cons: "DirecTV in-flight entertainment. You pay or you're subjected to constant ads and/or snippets of shows. I'd rather watch one free movie that I can't choose rather than pay to watch bad TV."
Pros: "I liked the fact that I had a window seat... at the way back. Also that I was at least offered snacks, or whatever was left because they ran out."
Cons: "They ran out of meals and snacks, both paid and free. We all pay a price, yet seats and class determine whether you will get your moneys worth. I guess the point is that I at least made it home."
Cons: "United is a bare bones airline with poor everything. Flight attendants that project ther roll MAINLY as safety technicians, uncomfortable seats (not to mention right packing. Booked this flight when it was listed as Luftstansa, but should have made another choice when I saw it was United."
Pros: "The plane was very clean, modern, and it just felt safe. The crew is excellent, and the flight took less than three hours."
Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour. Boarding was a bit of a problem, there was a miscommunication of who boarded first and who would board next so the boarding process was a bit delayed and disorganized. No entertainment was offered."

Cons: "Instead of a full can of soda with glass of ice, just recieve a glass with v ice and a bit of soda from the can."
Pros: "Clearly a recent D check plane, very clean and new interior"
Cons: "New screens are nice, but $8 to watch TV for a couple of hours? Take a hint from JetBlue, United, STOP NICKEL AND DIMING CUSTOMERS! This on top of there being two solid rows of economy comfort seating open, and not letting us move back one row to the economy comfort seats since ours wouldn't recline because they were in front of that exit row. On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."
Pros: "The crew was mostly friendly. One crew member didn't look too happy to be there, but the rest were quite friendly. The flight took off on time or earlier. We landed and started exiting the plane about 15 minutes earlier than expected which is always good. Even though you had to pay for the entertainment, they did provide one channel without paying and played a couple tv episodes."
Cons: "I don't really have any complaints, it was a good trip."
Pros: "The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I had just flown in with united from Hawaii and landed 6. 15 am that morning and the employees assisted as I was not familiar with the airport. Will definitely fly united again."
Cons: "Had purchased a round-trip ticket. While in D.C. on a family trip to bury my mother in Arlington National Cemetery, my brother had a massive heart attack. After 3 weeks, he was stable enough to come back to Houston on an air ambulance. As I travelled with him on the air ambulance, I was unable to use the return portion of my round-trip ticket. I provided documentation of the situation and requested a refund. I received $106 on a $715 ticket. There was no explanation of how they determined the refund, but I'm not happy."
