Ethiopian Airlines need to get themselves better organised for how they line people up for boarding and make it clearer in the airport where people need to go and when; we headed to the gate waaaaay too early; very uncomfortable seating at gate 1 area.
Where are the movie screens for such a long flight???? 6 1/2 hours of a screaming baby makes for a very uncomfortable journey - also TURN OFF the lights sooner; when people are leaving at 1am; they aren't worried about seeing inside the cabin; they want to be sleeping!!!!
Boarding is always a bit confusing as I stand around unsure of when to board. The crew is very courteous and professional and even on a short flight the food is great, especially the chocolate.
The entertainment was not great but it was a very short flight.
clean. Seat covers nice and clean. furniture color scheme pleasant.
1. Seat distance by far too less.
2. seat width on the borderline of being acceptable.
3.. No entertainment, not even a flight info screen available.
4. Only instant coffee available. If it is instant, cappuccino or other café specialities should be available. Emirates and Etihad make the example.
5. Food okay - but not for french airline. No innovation, no thought in it. Standard "how do I get the cattle fed the cheapest possible" food.
6. Electrical / USB / Network plugs or WIFI unknown.
The entertaiment was fine and the crew were polite
1,The food was bad. I was unable to eat. Simple food would have worked. I chose fish but hardly ate since it tasted bad. Additionally I am allergic to diary products and was not given a chance to express this when purchasing the ticket so I arrived in Rome extremely hungry. I ate at the airport on arrival in Rome,
2, There was no toiletries bag handed out i.e toothpaste and socks to keep us warm.
3. Was surprised that the food was on sale Brussels to Rome. Abidjan to Brussels was free food then mid flight rules changed and the food was on sale on the last leg of the flight.
bad customer service. No reliable information about the flight. How someone who never took an airplane can know that you have to get a visa when going to canada. If your ticket says your last destination is us. And i did not even got a full refund for their stupid mistake. Lack of information. You guys should be more careless for your customers.
I did not get the meal of my choice, also as I tried to check in at home, the system did not give me much choices to respond to, instead the system blocked me entirely from early check in and it wasn't enough time to make calls. I think check in should be made available at least 48-72hrs ahead not just 24hrs. Also walking from terminal to terminal in Frankfurt is way too far, it seems about 2miles + of walk.
The crew was super nice, and the entertainment was great!
The food wasn't very good, it was SO MUCH better on the flight to Moscow. How strange, it's 2nd time it happened: one way it is good, the other way - not.
Flight from Moscow was a disaster. I was flying alone with my 12 months baby. It was super uncomfortable. The gentleman who sat next to me was ok to take another seat to give us more space, however flight attendants said other seats in the plane cost extra. Business class was more than half empty, I saw some seats in economy class too. It was a horrible flight. I couldn't even use my table because my baby had to be on my lap all the time. They saw it, but still gave me two trays of food, one for me and one for baby, I had to put them on floor and eat from there. I'm sorry I had to say it, but my backside was numb for tree days after the flight.
Old fashioned seat, no usb to charge my phone, battery went ;off and couldn't make a call to my family to assure them of a half way safe trip while stopping over for almost 6 hours in Ataturk Intl. Airport, Turkey.
We have bought our seats, but in the airport it was found that our seats were assigned to somebody else and nothing could be done to give them back to us
I was so impressed with my whole experience with Swissair on my recent trip from Miami to Malaga, Spain. Very courteous and friendly crew, up to date aircraft and right on time!
I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others.
If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable.
Very friendly and the food and drinks never stopped and no additional charges, a very nice experience over the bargain airlines, free in-flight movies, and entertainment, no cost.
Good flight schedules to where I need to go in West Africa. On time generally. Leg room is average or better.
The Brussels/Lufthansa economy thinly padded seats are brutal. I was awoken to a sore behind over and over. You can feel the crosswise metal rod underneath. I sympathize with lack of catering options coming out of developing countries, but the economy meal for the red-eye return to Brussels was hard to swallow, too.
When checking in for my flight in Stockholm, there was no option to pay for the luggage that I had. I assumed that I had an Economy Light ticket, which requires €15 to be paid early (during online check in) or €30 to be paid at the airport. Because their system wouldn't let me check in my bag, I was forced to pay €30 at the airport. No one there would listen to my issue. The woman taking my payment at the airport pretended not to speak English, which was a total lie (the second person in front of me was English, and she spine perfectly). I tried emailing the Austrian Air customer help group, and they basically said tough noogies. They emailed me back several times saying it wasn't their problem.
Terrible flight had to delay few times , we had to wait inside in the plane for more than 2 hours , they had me to check im my carry on in geneva layover even i had a personla stuff inside and with no lock , rude crew i never even fly with suiss i had toncome back with lugthansa because they had to delay the flight again
The Amsterdam airport is super disorganized, with rude employees great at making excuses for their incompetence.
The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance.
The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?)
The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want.
We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell.
The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM.
