Momondo did an immaculate job of informing me about flights and when to check in, and if anything was delayed."

Pros: "Despite being a smaller airline I must say I’m completely floored by how much I enjoyed my flight with JetBlue! The free WiFi is a game changer compared to the greedier airlines that charge through the roof for it and the staff has been incredibly kind. ‏ Also, the flight attendants were really sweet. I watched them diffuse a few situations that most people would have ended up making worse. Not to mention this is the only airline that actually OFFERED to assist me getting on the plane. I sometimes request assistance, but I really needed it last night and they offered without a second thought. I had only come up to the desk to ask about reprinting my ticket. As soon as I went up to the desk to ask about reprinting my ticket, they immediately asked if I was ready to preboard. The man who helped wheel me out of the plane at JFK was very considerate as well and asked if I wanted to go to the restroom before going out to the gate. He wheeled me all the way to the car where my husband was waiting. Every member of the Jet Blue staff I met this weekend was exemplary. If I can help it I will always fly Jet Blue when I fly nationally."

My grandpa is in the ICU and I nearly missed visiting hours because of having to wait to deplane in the front."

When we landed at lax we had to travel across the runway for quite awhile to our gate where we had to wait another 45 min for the other plane to leave before we could park."

I had to call 3 times to jet blue’s customer service to get a flight the following day, I missed an important family event. I also lost money in multiple ways, not going to work and playing for uneeded dog care for my dogs."

I follow a vegetarian diet, and I asked for the salad option, sold out. Okay fine, I asked for the cheese platter, sold out. If you are offering food, there should be enough for the whole plane, plain and simple."

Cons: "Families with kids should go second on the plane, not almost last. The air conditioning system was broken. The seats were hard on my bottom which made for a rough red eye flight. Hit tons of turbulence with no warning. I know you can see that ahead of time so just give us a heads up. They couldn’t get the bridge way to the plane so we sat for half an hour in the no ac plane instead of getting us a stair or other gate."

On this flight, other passengers (one family) with disgusting manners, smelly carry on food and generally poor attitudes, made it a captive experience. The crew were the bright spot. An airline can't help that much but, can mitigate the damage and the employees did that. You have very good people."

This process struck me as bizarre/dishonest. I will not be back unless I can select a seat prior to booking."

I would recommend that they first see if there is an earlier initial flight that the customer could make, then look at finding later connecting flights. We found out about delay 8 hours prior, so we had plenty of time to get to the airport earlier. Total delay required me to take additional day off of work."

I will sue them, I had an under age waiting for me in Cancun and a pet with me!. With no food or access to do its necessities. AND THERE WAS AN OPTION THAT "they missed" on porpuse."

A little puddle jumper to go to SFO from LAX seems strange to me. Its cramped and slower than just taking SWA from BUR. Its a little bitty plane, and the added time with the baggage, transferring on the buses and all the extra time needed for these things just don't add up to a quick and dirty business trip.

Short connecting flight to LAX from SFO. Only thing I maybe disliked was the lack of entertainment options, but what can I expect when it’s only a small jet to LAX

Cons: "We were not permitted to board the plane until later than expected, but were told we would still take off right away and regain lost time, no mention of a delay at last call or immediately after, despite the 20 minute delay by this point. After taxiing, the pilot informed us of withheld information, that ATC would delay our departure for ~40 minutes, but we could STILL try to make it up in the air. This was a bold faced lie. It was finally  9:52pm before we even took off from SFO. While idling, the cabin started to reek of jet fuel, and people started coughing and sneezing. Upon landing at LAX at 10:46pm, we were told that there was no gate for us, and that we would have to wait for an amount of time that kept changing every time there was an announcement. The toxic jet fumes started to permeate the cabin again, and people started coughing and sneezing in response. Ultimately it is 11:21pm by the time we reached our gate. At this point, the jetway was broken/failed to open, but despite this, the air conditioning was switched off and pax crowd the aisles without direction. Finally we managed to escape at 11:31pm."

Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

But that flight was delayed twice because of mechanical problems: the first time we had to go back to the gate and the second time we stayed on the runway just before take off Not enough room in overhead bins. There was no entertainment!!!! Also, no plug to charge my phone that I had to wait to charge my phone after getting my bags to contact a taxi driver (Lyft)."

Then I go running around looking for an agent. I find one and she says you missed your flight. I told her I still have 45 minutes to make it, and she rudely just tells me to get in another line to pay for a new ticket. LUCKILY someone in the priority line saw I was having a problem, a customer not an agent, and she told me to try to talk to someone on her side. After 3 agents told me no one finally told me yes. I made my flight but just by a hair. If the agents would have been around to help or been willing to help me from the moment I spoke to them this would not have been a problem. Thanks for almost ruining Christmas for me. When I spoke to others everyone told me they always have issues with AA. Will never fly AA again."

We waited in line for over two hours for hotel vouchers that they did not have. We paid for own our room and returned at 11am as instructed, but the plane needed a part that had to be shipped from the U.S. which pushed our scheduled departure from 2pm to at least 9pm. My family grabbed a bus to Narita for a 6:30pm flight. C'MON AMERICAN AIRLINES! COULD YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GET ANOTHER PLANE TO HANEDA?? OR AT LEAST PAY FOR OUR HOTEL?? The ground crew at Haneda was very kind but overwhelmed. Terrible experience. And it's the reason I don't fly American. In fact, KAYAK, I booked our flights on JAL intentionally to avoid American. The fact that these were partner flights on American completely and unpleasantly surprised me...also not a good experience."

The first plane delayed our schedule by 3 hours as the maintenece team tried to troubleshoot some navigational equipment, after hours of no progress they decide to switch us to another aircraft at a different gate, and at this point i have already missed my connection flight in LA to HNL. By the time everyone gets boarding on the back up plane, they make an annoucement that the current crew and captain working hours have timed out and that they will need everyone to step off the aircraft and rebook their current flight while we wait for the turnover crew to show up. So another hour goes by before we board again and are FINALLY in the air 5 HOURS behind schedule, and at this point my last trip to HNL would be leaving 15 after we got to the terminal. At this point we're pulling into the terminal and it is 7:15, my flight to HNL leaves at 7:45, and the plane is literally right next to ours. While we are pulling into the unloading zone, the luggage crew left about 15 luggage carts parked in the spot our plane is supposed to pull into leaving us just outside of range of the terminal, 20 minutes go by before it gets cleared and we finally pull up. As im leaving the plane, literally running next door to make the floght, j look up at the departure time of 7:45pm and then back down at my watch which says 7:42 pm, and as i go to show the representative my ticket to quickly board, she tells me im too late and i should go talk to customer service about a flight for tomorrow morning. Now keeping everything i went through in mind, i also was required to be on the island on Oahu, no later than 0700 the morning of july 6th, and now there isn't even a flight that leaves before 8am??? This was by far my worst traveling experience ever and it was my first time ever flying American airlines. I wish i could take back my money, because your airlines have set me back over 16 hours on my schedule and i'm also in trouble with my ship and chain of command for not making it back on time."
