Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Staff were very good . Business class very comfortable. I had low salt menu which was very comforting to be able to choose as salt not good for me."
Pros: "The crew was amazing. Food was great. Clean bathrooms. Great entertainment."
Cons: "We had our passports and boarding passes checked five times in the course of 2 minutes by five different people one after the next. My cabin luggage was searched right before boarding. I appreciate the need for security, but that was excessive and unnecessary. In the peak of the Corona virus craze, the security made all passengers take off shoes and walk without any protection. This is not Qatar Airways doing - New York JFK security B S, but I am sure airways companies have some say to change it."
Pros: "Very nice and accommodating crew!"
Cons: "Food is served in heated plastic containers. I would request Qatar airways not heat the food in the plastic container."
Pros: "Crew was good"
Cons: "Tvs don’t work. Uncomfortable seats"
Pros: "Amazing staff"
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats and poor entertainment systems"
Pros: "The food and entertainment"

Pros: "The crew was amazing and delightful."
Cons: "The crew was amazing and delightful but should provide food to kids first before even those special diet or vegetarians."
Pros: "Friendly crew (didn’t go above or beyond but polite and accommodated to simple requests). Plenty of meals/snacks and drinks offered."
Cons: "The seats barely recline backward which really meant I was basically upright trying to sleep for 14 hours on one leg and 6 hours on the next. My luggage was lost, despite being promised it would be delivered that day I had to wait 24 hours."
Pros: "Crew was excellent"
Cons: "Boarding at JFK is very bad. They do not know the meaning of priority. Food from JFK to Doha pretty bad."
Pros: "The 2 trips were fantastic. From checking in to getting off the aircraft, service was a-okay."
Cons: "No comment."
Pros: "I really like the Qatar flight from Auckland to Manchester. But beware now that the Akl leg leaves 1 hour later the transit in Doha is officially 1.15hr. But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids."
Cons: "Short transit time"
Pros: "Everything was great ,On time , comfortable seeds, Crew were very nice , boarding was quick Thank you Qatar Airways"
Pros: "The plane was relatively new, the original departure time was also slightly delayed, but overall it wasn’t that bad."

Pros: "Very affordable flights, good value for money. Most of the journey from Sydney to Oslo (via Doha) went qiluite smoothly)."
Cons: "The only thing I didn’t like about the experience was the fact that you can only check in one piece of luggage on economy class, and one very sour individual at the gate when boarding."
Pros: "The treatment"
Cons: "It was too late"
Pros: "I really enjoyed the flight, which was almost 15 hours long. I give an overall 4 star review for this flight. The boarding process was pretty organized (without including the ignorant passengers who can't read their zone numbers, haha) because they called us up group by group, in a speedy process. Even inside, the cabin crew welcomed us aboard and showed us where our seats are. This leads me to my 5-star rating of the service. Very warm, friendly, and generally helpful cabin crew Qatar Airways has. They fulfilled all my needs even if they had to go out of their way. As for entertainment, I was very surprised at how many great movies they have! Especially the new ones! I would not be bored again with this selection. Food was okay to be honest. It was a hot meal that satisfied my hunger and tasted good, but maybe it's just me and airplane food. Doesn't taste right for me. And to be honest, I was cramped. Not even me but many other passengers felt like the seats were too small. Overall, Good experience!"
Pros: "Complimentary upgrade to business class."
Pros: "the flight was comfortable"
Pros: "Great selection of movies and tv shows"
Cons: "I had to ask for everything. Crew members kept passing me by for food service and drink service even though I was awake. I had to tap/call them each time they passed by. It turned into a joke among me and the people sitting next to me. Entertainment screen is too dim even on highest brightness setting"
Pros: "Excellent experience overall, the food was decent, the seats were comfortable and had enough space for me at 6ft tall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, entertainment selection was good with plenty of new movies out. I had no problems with my layover. The baggage allowance was great as I had extra luggage from my trip. I'm very happy with their customer service, the day before my first flight I received a phone call from Qatar's customer service saying that due to delays I wouldn't be able to make my connecting flight to Edinburgh so they would like to book me on another flight instead of me having to wait 24 hours in Doha. I was thoroughly impressed with this service."
Cons: "I did not have wifi available from Doha-Johannesburg"
Pros: "Food was better than average, blankets were soft and seats were comfortable. Good flight."
Pros: "Quality of foods and service"
Pros: "Over all it was a good experience"
Cons: "IEvery thing was fine."

Pros: "Very friendly online travel booking portal. I like it"
Pros: "Crew was exceptional and in-flight entertainment options superb. Meals were well apportioned and delicious."
Cons: "Seats were a little narrow, especially the middle ones but to be expected when flying economy."
Cons: "asian vegetable meal was uninspired"
Pros: "Food was great, seats were comfortable, in flight entertainment was awesome, flight crew was friendly"
Cons: "baggage process could have been better, i was made to remove stuff just because was 1-2 lbs overweight in my baggage. Never had this issue with other airlines (especially when its only matter of 1-2 lbs.)"
Cons: ",also I had to wait for longer time again due to less people for wheel chair assist.."
Cons: "Crowded flight, late departure."
Pros: "Amazing airline with excellent crew and ground staff ever willing to help!"
Pros: "a wonderful experience to travel with Qatar airways, recommended for others as well."
Pros: "Boarding and Seat comfort was good"
Cons: "Food frequency for 16 hour flight was awfully inadequate. Food quantity in each service was not sufficient. Food quality ok. No intermittent beverage and snack service in 16 hour flight segment. Cabin baggage limit of 15 lb/7kg per bag is awfully inadequate that renders the standard cabin baggage useless"
Pros: "Cabin crew were excellent, very nice and accomodating"
Cons: "Check in staff and customer service reps were unprofessional and unhelpful. We had an 8 hour layover on both legs, no access to the lounge or a hotel was provided. I explained we were on our way to our wedding and it would be nice to have some rest. They were rude with the way they told us no, they even suggested we sleep on the floor of the airport. We ended up paying for the lounge, but then so did about 1000 other people, there was no room for us to sit together. My wife's allergy free meal wasn't provided on the first flight. We had to speak to about 5 people to get a meal ticket at the airport and they were very reluctant to give us one. I told them she was hungry and needed to eat. They told us we could take the meal we got with the ticket on board, when we went to use the ticket we had no choice in meal, were given a coke at 6am and weren't allowed to heat up our meal or take it on board. In summary, all the cabin crew on all 4 flights were excellent. Staff at Doha airport were incredibly poor."
Cons: "Headrests on quatar airways are uncomfortable , especially for someone who is short and neck gets very stiff"
Pros: "The flight attendants were very nice and friendly. Qatar airlines also provided tons of food. Lastly the tv/games was a good source of entertainment."
Cons: "This flight was an older carrier and although it had a USB outlet to charge your devices it didn't work."
Pros: "Flight was comfortable, food was good."
Cons: "Lot of inconvenience for transit passengers, sitting area was closed, had to look around for a comfortable place to spend 4 hours."
Pros: "Attentive service ready to appease any request very clean toilets"
Cons: "Type of aircraft Films Selections in particular World Group not changed much since April"
