Pros: Gate agent gave us extra legroom after our trip to Australia in the crying baby section. No one's fault, but a difficult 14 hour flight. Thank you again for your kindness.

Cons: Flight was late. There was no communication about it. The flight from Joburg to Doha was late, therefore I missed my connection. The delay was not officially communicated to any of the passengers — no announcements made, no representatives to talk to at the gate — until well past the time that we should have been in the air. It was distressing.

Cons: I was a little bit annoyed with the staff at the Doha airport at the boarding gate because she did not let me get in to boardin in priority even though with my privilege club card, I do have to insist after the call for zone 1 to proceed for boarding.

Pls ask ground catering to provide more non veg food The cabin temperature was close to freezing on the GOi-DOH international flight. No blankets provided when asked for blankets was told by the Indian air hostess on board the Qatar Airways flight that there is a shortage of blankets and they had to give children first Flight was at 3:50 am at this early tme pls provide blankets for all specially if it is freezing

Pros: Very crowded flight but still had room. Amazing and and easy to use entertainment. Super friendly staff. Comfortable seats. Exactly what I have come to expect from this amazing airline.
Cons: The food could use some work. It is still better than most other airlines but not as good as most high schools. However, you will not go hungry because they make sure that you stay and hydrated on their flights. I do dislike all the dogs that are allowed in planes. Now flights have babies crying coupled with dogs barking. Takes away from the overall ambiance that Qatar tries so hard to achieve.

Pros: Flying with Alaska Airlines was great. The flight was on time and the staff were super professional and courteous. One of the passengers was sick and the flight attendants handle the situation very well. I definitely recommend flying with Alaska Airlines.

Cons: - slightly confusing at ticketing area and my parents only needed to procure tags for their baggage (already had boarding passes) - after waiting on a long line for a period of time I suggested they go to a kiosk which they did, however after placing the tags on their bag, there was a group of about 3 Alaska Airlines staff standing right in front of us laughing, and having a personal conversation. Not one staff member attempted to greet or direct my parents as to the next step in the process. I found this to be unprofessional. While I have dealt with much much worse, this did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Pros: I missed my flight because Alaska asked me a transit visa for Togo. I call the ambassador's office in Us they told me the don't require a transit visa.

Cons: The WiFi broke and the crew only had a limited amount of televisions. In the future, think about having a back up or the steps that would need to be taken to repair the WiFi!

Cons: The problem is maybe overnight layover in San Diego isn't a great idea. So just as fair warning to future travelers. DO NOT buy a ticket if there is an over night layover in San Diego. You will have to spend the night in the check in lobby because the gates are locked. You will have to re-check-in and go through security on your next flight when the airport opens in the morning. If you like the sound of that then more power to you.

Pros: I enjoy flying on Alaska Airlines and this flight confirmed why I fly Alaska. Check in was a breeze, flight attendants were attentive, food was delicious. Easy trip across the country.

Pros: If you have a phone, tablet or laptop, you can watch a bunch of movies for free! No charge whatsoever. I had my laptop and was able to watch two movies and a few TV shows. I also sat in an exit row and had a LOT of leg room. I was really happy.

Cons: My flight from San Diego was at 10 am. At that point I had already had breakfast. A few hours later, 3 to be exact, when I asked the attendant for a meal they said they only serve them in the beginning of the flight. Which if it was even an hour later at 11am, it would be on the earlier side of lunch time. I was disappointed that on a 5 hour direct flight, I wasn't able to have a meal that I was going to gladly be paying for.

Pros: When we did get in the air, the flight seemed to go quickly and we got there fast.
Cons: I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule.

Pros: The aircraft was very clean, neat and well maintained. The crew was friendly. Process of checked-in luggage was seamless and straightforward.
Cons: I found the istructions on some restricted items to be confusing and contradictory between instructions at the airport, the AA website and the TSA website. The agent at the counter was well-informed, though, and it all ended up going well.

Then they decided there we were overweight (data that should be known before the cargo was loaded) and off loaded two people. Then after another delay they realised that off loading people meant off loading their baggagge, total delay nearly 2 hours The hedset socket on the entertainment system did not work The USB port did not work THey ran out of food after serving three rows, loaded four sandwiches, no wraps and 2 cheese plates for a full evening flight that was over 5 hours in duration including the delays.

Cons: First flight TUS to DFW was delayed by 3 hours causeing us to mist all the remaining flights. Had to scramble to find other flights DFW to LHR and LHR to DUB. We arrived at our destination 10 hours. No reason for the delay was given. Lousey service on AA.

End of flight huge queues at Dallas airport for security. After a long flight a passenger does not need to be corralled through excessively long winding lines.

Pros: I had a connection flight to JFK I came before the time about 15 min and crew saw me but she told me, sorry someone took your seats I lost around 4000$. This happened at Dallas airport.

The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory.

The fleet look like they date back to the '90's at best!!

Cons: Engine was super loud on takeoff - to the point where passengers were looking around worried that something wasn't right. Eventually it seemed to be switched off once we hit the clouds and we seemed to sort of coast quietly for a minute or so - also alarming to everyone judging by the non-verbal behavior that suddenly everyone was exhibiting. Then it came back on again but only at half the volume. Nothing was mentioned about it by the captain or crew so I spent the rest of the flight wondering if the engine was going to give out part way through the flight.

Cons: The tray cannot be pullled closer for eating. The seat sitting up is very uncomfortable for reading. I would have liked a pillow. Th poor man in front of me asked for a coke after the meal service was done, and the flight attendant said she had to reserve it for the next flight?! The male announcer flight attendant was very hard to understand, some of his words were slurred and garbled. And the volume was always too loud for both the male and female announcers. There was no entertainment unless you downloaded the app.

Cons: It was HORRIBLE. They had to book us on another flight to Houston and then to Dallas because there were no more direct flights. We arrived at the check in counter at 10 AM. Flight left at 10:40. We were only 5 minutes late for the cutoff after a 15 hour flight with delays that were NOT our fault but were the fault of the airline itself. Our seats were terrible going back and they did not even offer us any kind of voucher to help with the added time and stress of having to wait for another flight and take an extra one.

The website told me to go to the airport the day before to see a representative. I went to the airport and they told me call back or come back the next day. Information was all inaccurate and after another 55 min wait on the phone (stated “more than 30 mins) i got an agent and rebooked my ticket.

Cons: Boarding could be a little frustrating because groups 3 4 5 were 1 lane and there wasn't a lot of room in the airport. Also, there wasn't a lot of time to get from one side of the airport to the other to stop at the restroom and get a real meal, since there was nothing served on the previous flight. Due to turbulence there was nothing served on the flight, which is beyond the control of the crew. They knrw ahead of time about the turbulence, perhaps they could have quickly passed out pretzels or cookie before the flight took off.

Pros: The transparency of the pilot as to what was causing all of fhe delays.
Cons: The 4 hour delay. First, the plane was running late from San Francisco (about 2 hours late). The second delay was due to someone putting way too much fuel in the plane so we had to wait for the excess fuel to be removed. Then the flight attendants ended their shift so we had to wait for another crew that was flying in from Denver. This involved us having to remove all of our things from the overhead bin and get off the plane and re-board about an hour and half later. I was supposed to make it to Dallas at 8:45 and instead didn't make it until after 12:30. It was extremely inconvenient and unpleasant. I have not experienced such a nightmare before with any previous airlines.

Cons: Plane delayed due to maintenance at the hub airport of Newark and no gates upon arrival in DFW at midnight.

Pros: The flight and the flight attendant was amazing. Very professional and could tell she enjoys her job. She also discreetly handed me an extender...very nice.
Cons: I did not like having to put my own bag on the travel cart. I wasn't expecting to have to check my bag at the last minute. Someone at United need a to warn potential passengers the limited space on the plane. I felt like others that we were the Jolly Green Giant.

Cons: Dear United Airlines, It is my dearest wish that reading the following inflicts upon you at least a fraction of the stress, frustration, and pain that I have been through traveling with you today- you absolutely abhorrent excuse for a company. Due to your incomparable incompetence my arrival was inexcusably delayed almost 12 hours. An account follows: For a company who's customer service is already hanging by a very thin thread you would think that you would be doing everything to make your flights as smooth and pleasant as possible. Shall I elaborate on the utter frustration and boredom of being trapped in the San Francisco airport facing not one, not two, but what became SEVEN delays? Delays that have been caused by runway maintenance- a condition which someone in your company would have known about well before I got to the airport and that you simply did not plan for. A almost FOUR HOUR delay that could have been easily avoided if you just had things together and scheduled your planes around the affected runways. And let's not forget the additional delay caused when your flight crew simply couldn't be found to come to the gate so we could start getting underway! But no, I think the absolutely outstanding quintessential experience that defines flying with United airlines is this: After the above delays myself and my fellow passengers were finally able to board our flight- only to be told by the captain that there would be another brief delay while we waited for ANOTHER crew member because one of the pilots was near the end of their union hours. We sit on the plane stuck for another 20 minuets or so, only to be told they can't find anyone, and can we please get off the plane because our WHOLE FLIGHT is CANCELED. The kiosk I get to try and fix this is uncrowded but understaffed and run by clearly undertrained employees. The ones I'm dealing with keep having to ask each other for help, and give advice/plans that contradict one another. One of theme even takes what seems to be a personal call while 'assisting' me. When I finally get ahold of a supervisor I have to plead to get the next flight out of this godforsaken place, which I am reluctantly given as its with one of your competitors. Talking with other customer and airport staff is sounds very much like you are delaying/canceling flights for your own personal gain or at least not correcting flights around the situation to squeeze more money from the situation) it becomes quite clear that you are not only still incapable of accepting any real measure of accountability but entirely disgracefully unorganized.  Almost 12 hours later I do finally make it home- thanks to American Airlines.  Only to have the utter displeasure of one last interaction with United wherein when I pick up my bag your employees insist that I was delayed due to the weather and it wasn't your fault. It was entirely absolutely your fault.

Cons: I was allowed only 1 bag to carry on when both my bag & purse would have clearly fit underneath the seat in front of me. Makes no sense. Also other airlines don't require you to check in at the counter if you're not checking a bag. Why would United want all passengers at their ticket counter or kiosk? Ridiculous!

Pros: We arrived on time
Cons: The ticket clerk up charged me stating that my carry on was over weight and insisted the bag be checked. When I inquired why, the ticketing agent became indifferent stating that they would not issue a boarding pass because they were not dealing with questions. Had to pay and pacify the agents rudeness or be denied a pass. What happened to this airline?

Pros: Everyone was friendly, flight was on time checking in at kiosk was very efficient no complaints . I would recommend Kayak and United to friends and family

Pros: As long as United still provides snacks and doesn't charge for carryons I will definitely be flying them again. Their staff was great, the flight was a bit turbulent but everything g was great otherwise.

Pros: the flight crew was awesome! Very patient with difficult passengers.
Cons: People had the usual trouble with the overhead bins - I think staff should be more restrictive regarding letting people take on bags that are too large. More gate-checking of things larger than a backpack would speed boarding process.

Pros: The leg room was much better on this plane. I was comfortable and enjoyed my trip.
Cons: Food and entertainment was not provided.

Cons: Delay and then having to change gates - at O"Hare that means walking and walking some more !! After being insulted during check in. The RUDE woman (poor English) with assisted boarding then the RUDE man that changed my name and my luggage he chose to send to Dayton OH -never been there in my life and he "dug" thru my luggage - as if he was searching for MONEY or GOLD -he pulled out a protein drink and I asked him to hand that to me so I could drink it as I am a diabetic - he shouted at me "I THROW AWAY'. During the two hour delay I could have used it !! Poor service I will fly American from now on !!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: Boarding was delayed over two hours due to a late arriving plane We were again delayed over an hour because our flight would place the pilot with more hours than accepted by safe flying standards (didn't they know this ahead of time? When we were initially delayed?!?) The seats were SO uncomfortable. All I wanted was sleep, but they only reclined a couple of inches

Cons: The flight was delayed over 4 hours. The seats are horribly uncomfortable. My flight was supposed to take off at 8:30 pm and it is past midnight and we are now taxing back to the gate.

Pros: I am Brenda Crooks, Zachary's mom. I am the one that actually took the trip. I went to Connecticut to see my son, Samuel, get his white coat for medical school. I will never forget my experience in Newark, New Jersey. I met a wonderful woman named Yevette who checked in my luggage. She is to be commended on going above and beyond the call of duty. I don't know her last name. She knew I was very upset because I was leaving my 22 year old baby in Connecticut. She sympathized and comforted me. She put her arms around me and assured me that everything was going to be alright. She is a wonderful woman with a big heart. She is the true meaning of a lady. I will never forget her and thank her so very much for being so gracious and kind to me.

Pros: Everything went like clockwork, the announcements, the boarding, the take off, the landing and the on time arrival. This trip was an example of how things should go.

Cons: Even though I was on business class, I could not use the lounge at United . They said Luftansa do not pay pay for local connections.

Pros: The first class accommodations were great, my only issue was that the entertainment required an app!

Cons: The flight was delayed by more than two hours. I had a two hour drive after which got me in bed at 4:30 AM instead of 1:00 AM. Had to work that day which made it hard to function. Usually great, but was disappointed they didn't offer anything to us for such an inconvenience.

Cons: Most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. Like sitting on rocks but worse. No snacks or drinks available during flight.

Pros: The crew was friendly, boarding was efficient, you got a whole can of your preferred drink without request.
Cons: Not a lot of leg space, the trail mix snack(ranch flavored?) was gross.

Cons: Agent at the counter didn't look into my passport properly so when I landed in Dfw they rejected so I couldn't fly international so I had to buy another ticket and fly back to denver. Cost me my time and money which I could have avoided only if your ticket agent checked my passport properly knowing about my international flight. Very disappointed.

Pros: Seats were comfortable and plenty of leg room, flight attendants were attentive and took care of drinks and made several trips to picked up garbage.
Cons: I was told the wifi was available on my return flight but I could not get it to come on.
