Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews

Cons: "Food selection available was not good in my opinion - pretty much tailored to Indian appetite and stomachs. Very pour options for juices and alternate foods."
Pros: "Everything about the flight - barring one thing - was brilliant. The new overhauled interior with the padded leather seats and a mini bar is an exquisite touch. The build quality of the interior such as the spotlight, switches, buttons all have a classy touch with a very classy interior cabin lighting. It felt like how a business class should be: excellent. And, as usual, the staff remained professional, polite, friendly and very helpful."

The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."
Pros: "Flight itself was normal. Flight crew was adequate and courteousdr"

Pros: "Ease of checkin"
Cons: "Delayed take off Delayed baggage retrieval’s"
Cons: "luggage did not make connecting flight from dubai to jfk, inspite of pilot telling us 1 hour or so delay was waiting for luggage. at jfk was told can get same night if want to. this proved futile . spent hours at JFk waiting and talking to Emirates. spoke with multiple agents including Luz, sarah, etc. finally around 12 midnight was told customs would not release till next day. but promised to get it to us by 12noon next day (flying to wyoming next day at 330 pm) . this did not happen. again multiple phone calls and promises , failed. Kiamaria even got text of address in WY where 2 suitcases should have gone. All 4 suitcases were sent to NJ and arrived at 9pm. more phone calls. this time Rachel helped with fedex labels unfortunately more problems as fedex said no barcode and we had to go to fedex office and finally they took care of it so many hours wasted, not to mention the anxiety and frustratioon How are you going to reimburse all this ????"
Pros: "Live football final game"
Cons: "Cannot think of anything"
Pros: "Internet check in, saves time and paper!"
Pros: "Good selection of movies. Nice staff- some of which were able to handle difficult customers better than others."
Cons: "Both flights to Athens and returning to New York were very delayed. As a result, passengers were annoyed and staff members looked obviously stressed as well. On the whole my impression is that this airline keeps up appearances very well but is in fact somewhat disorganized."
Pros: "The plane was spacious and we had really good seats , next to the toilet and wall in front of us. Super, as we were traveling with a toddler and he was able to sit on the floor in front of us and play with his toys. Food came out promptly and was tasty. Loved the goodies for the kids, little blanket and scotch pad."
Cons: "The delay in boarding! It’s hard work when traveling with a toddler."

Pros: "I liked the food and entertainment only."

Cons: "Flight attendants were rude on the Washington to Dubai flight"

I paid money to get in the lounge because our flight was late and the kids were tired (I was traveling with two kids), but unfortunately I paid a lot of money to get in the lounge but couldn't find them proper resting areas."
Pros: "You have an outstanding staff: friendly, accommodating, and professional. Clean and comfortable planes."
Pros: "Price on my ticket was great and comfort was good"
Cons: "The ground staff at Bangalore in India had no idea on crowd control. Before they started boarding they made no announcements. The agents would talk amongst themselves but there were no announcements. With the result that everyone rushed at once for boarding. The lady agent who was scanning the passes kept yelling at people to form a line but by then it was too late On the flight, they ran out of vegetarian meals by the time they got to my seat!!"
Pros: "travel was pleasant"
Cons: "70 minutes waiting on tarmac for no obvious reason before 15 + hours flight is not nice, perfect weather, plane 4 hours before take off ready , but ATC allowed 14 small planes to over take us....Dubai airport big disappointment, not enough clean restrooms, overpriced ,not enough food courts ,only retail and duty free, boarding took double time than usual....for me no more Dubai,"
Cons: "I got food poisoning on this flight. Cramped in the middle seat for 14 hours while throwing up was not pleasant."
Pros: "I did not like the vegetarian food that was offered"
Pros: "Overall it's a good airline. Economy is fairly comfortable, great entertainment options, decent food, and the staff is exceptional."
Cons: "Emirates baggage on board policy is a bit strict compared to most of the other Asian and American flights I've been on. Usually I'm allowed a regular carry-on and a personal item (i.e., a small backpack), but Emirates was very strict on the personal items. Personal items are limited to only Business and First Class passengers. Also, they were extremely strict about the size of my carry-on. As someone who has been on 20+ flights in this year alone, few of them being budget airlines (which are generally very strict), I had no issues whatsoever with the size of my carry-on until I flew with Emirates."
Pros: "Very professional and very good in customer care"
Pros: "Food was great. Service was great."
Cons: "Need to have more leg space for a long haul flight."
Pros: "Crew couldn't have been friendlier!!"

Cons: "The bathrooms were dirty and some of the staff were unprofessional. they dropped food boxes and trays on passengers including me."
Pros: "From Los Angeles to Dubai there was Airbus A380 and that was amazing with a lot of fun available like free wifi hundreds of movies etc"
Cons: "I like rvery thing so I can't say any thing every thing was good"
Cons: "My luggage is delayed in Dubai because the earlier flight didn't follow the schedule and delay everything. My laptop and homeworks are all in there and I have big exam the next day so it crews everthing. This is what Emirates should improve next time!"
Cons: "You need to do a better job of placing families together. I moved from my seat twice in this first flight because of poor seating choices you provided for families and young women. The first move was because a father wanted to sit next to his young son. The second was because a young women was uncomfortable sitting in a row of men. I started with an aisle seat but had to move to a middle seat through all of this. I gave up my comfort to ensure that other passengers were properly taken care of. You should only hope that others will be willing to do the same."
