Pakistan has opened its airports to international flights, with the exceptions of Gwadar (GWD) and Turbat (TUK).
From 9 January, all those who have a Pakistani passport, National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) or Pakistani Origin Card (POC) are allowed to enter Pakistan. There are some additional arrangements on arrival – please see Pakistan government advice to confirm eligibility.
Travelers permitted to enter Pakistan from the UK and South Africa are required to present evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours before the start of travel. For information about this and possible quarantine periods on arrival please see Pakistan government advice.
Travelers entering Pakistan must provide contact information through the PassTrack mobile app or an accessible web-based form, undergo screening by a health official, provide a certificate of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test, fill a health declaration form on arrival and will be subject to thermal screening on arrival.
From October 5, all International travelers are required to present evidence of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within 96 hours of the travel date. However, there is a list of countries exempted from the mandatory test requirement.
Children under the age of 12 and disabled travelers are exempt from the Covid-19 test requirement and Pass Track App requirement but required to complete a health declaration form upon arrival.
Travelers who have any symptoms of COVID-19 (including fever, cough, and breathing difficulty) will be allowed to proceed to their destination but will be required to have a COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival and submit the results of the test to the authorities. If the test is positive they will have to self-isolate in line with Pakistan’s guidelines.
International travelers should self-isolate for 10 days after arrival (including those who are asymptomatic on arrival).

Cons: "At Heathrow, the boarding agents kept calling few passengers without letting the rest of the passengers know what was going on. Also the boarding was delayed without giving specific reason almost 50 min later. Finallly they said the boarding was delayed to catering and cleanning, which I could not believe since the plane has been on a tarmac close to an hour. Passengers were lining up to board, but one of the gate agent kept asking to sit down without giving any reason. Probable one of the worst boarding experience I have ever had in international flights."

Pros: "We didn’t make the flight from London to Rome because of flight delays. there was a huge time delay with our plane sitting on at the terminal and unable to de-board due to scheduling errors. This delay prevented us from making our connection to our next flight and now we are staying in a mediocre hotel for the night and have to wake super early and miss a day of fun at our final desitination. In general I would just move on, but we heard the customer service agent reference that they over booked the two flights to Rome. I guess we were the u lucky customers x two flights because we didn’t get a standby seat in the next flight then the prior agent gave us positive hope that we would get on. Lesson- make sure you have at least 3 hours between connecting flights."

Pros: "That was my first experience with the Airbus 380. The plane is an excellent ship and the takeoff and landing was surprisingly smooth. Flying is very stable as well. Although it has two decks you are just in one and it looks like any other long distance plane. Seats are a bit narrow but comfortable. Entertainment is individual and plenty of options. Economy cabin is divided in two sections and each section has its own lavatories."
Cons: "The boarding and disembarking operation is never-ending and of course economy class has to wait until business and first -that are considerably large- have completed their getting out. Even with two exits for the two decks it was very slow. On boarding I also noticed that several passengers boarded the wrong deck: nobody but a generic sign was telling them what gate was theirs. With 450 or 500 passengers the chance that something goes wrong increases. In our case a passenger didn't make the connexion and the luggage had to be removed. Food is just fine. Surprisingly the beverage was extremely short of options: just wine or water, no coke or sodas. Same with supper: just coffee, water or juice. The trip was long -9 hours- but no water was offered between meals."

Cons: "Changed flight , couldn’t check in. I bought ticked on kayak but vayama was the actual ticket seller on behalf of Iberia which is a British airlines company. I couldn’t check and and customer service of vayama didn’t want to help and asked me to call Iberia. I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales."

Cons: "The flight was late (I was warned online but there was denial at the airport and gate) and further delayed in flight so I missed my connection. I didn't like the pods in business class. I had a forward facing seat at least, which are all by the aisles. They seemed narrow. I didn't sleep (never do). The breakfast was a bit lame. Getting into buses from the plane IS lame. It took a while to get to the terminal."

Cons: "I added a quick trip to Austria while I was in Europe and timed it so I would fly back to London and then back to LA on the same day. London had a huge wind storm on 10/21 so my flight from Austria landed 1 hour late, with that I missed my London-LAX flight on BA (that I purchased via Kayak). The BA agents tried to help me but were not able to use my Kayak ticket to re-book me or at least recover some of my investment. There was no phone number provided on my reservation and after an hour of trying to help me, they said I have to buy a brand new ticket. The cost for my return and my seat reservation both were lost and my new ticket was $1,600 (and I had to spend the night in a hotel at Heathrow as at that point all US flights left for the day). I usually book directly with the airlines because I want to avoid situations like this, so it is too bad that the one time I come to Kayak I end up having to buy a new ticket that was twice as expensive as the original one. Pros: "The price of the flight offers is what made me purchase through kayak, but the disconnect with the airline and booking agency left me stranded and ultimately required me to buy a flight directly that will take me almost half a year to pay off not to mention the inconvenience of switching airports and sleeping on a bench for 4hrs."
Cons: "When I missed my flight, the airline would not offer assistance because I booked through an online vendor (webjet through kayak) and when I called webjet they failed to help me rebook, made me buy a new flight, then when I called looking for the flight information, they managed to cancel the flight and then claimed I had requested this when I had done no such thing. On top of this they only offer next calendar day booking so even though they are fully responsible for botching up the second flight I booked. I have talked to 10 individuals from different agencies. Everyone passes blame and responsibility off on someone else. On top of everything else, noone but the American Airlines representatives showed any empathy or concern for my being stranded for the night. Based on this experience, I will do everything in my power to dissuade people from using Kayak, webjet, amadeus and British Airways."

Pros: "The airline attendants were very nice and helpful. I had to stow my backpack in the overhead since I was sitting in a front seat with no underseat storage. The flight attendant was very helpful in finding a storage place for me near my seat since I was unable to find a place that wasn't towards the rear of the plane. I've always enjoyed flying with British Airways. Always first class service no matter where you sit."

Pros: "we got a 787 dreamliner, the coach seats had good space between rows, so we had enough legroom. food - dinner - was tasty, and breakfast was plain but was completely OK. entertainment was excellent, lots of new movies, and also older movies and TV programs. crew was courteous and very helpful, and boarding was quick and smooth. all in all, a very positive experience."

Pros: "Timely departure; early arrival. Customer service oriented crew. Due to an oversight on the crews' part (turbulence during distribution of meals), my neighbor and I were not provided meals. When they eventually discovered their oversight and our choice of meal was no longer available, they provided us with meals from first class. Applaud owning a mistake and fixing it."
Cons: "Chair configuration is appalling. Paid extra to sit in exit row of standard economy, seat 30J (middle seat). Leg room was ample, seat width was adequate (for someone of small stature) but separation from neighboring seats was non-existent. My neighbors on either side were both plus-sized. I had nowhere to place my arms and effectively had to sit with my arms folded from SJC to LHR. Room for improvement."
