I got bumped by Qantas to American Airlines incurring a 6 hr layover at lax. I was not happy

3 hour delay before takeoff & another 30 minutes on the plane before taxi to runway

I found the seats ergonomically uncomfortable forcing the body to seat slightly hunched. For a short flight I worked on adjustments but for a longer flight, it would be difficult.

The seat was not even cleaned. It has full of cookie crums probably from last flight's passenger. Its basic expectation that, seats are clean.

The planes can use an actual cleaning. The armrest and seats do not appear to be cleaned on this one and most other planes.

On time on a day with lots of weather cancellations on other flights. Thank you for getting me home during a winter storm!

The flight got delayed 2.5 hrs due to a maintenance issue that cause a domino effect. American should have spare planes for when something like this happens.

They changed our Gate 5 times, and concourse twice. Changed our seats twice.

Despite my vow to never fly with American Airlines (AA) again following a disappointing experience in the summer of 2022, I found myself reluctantly booking a non-stop flight from Huntsville to Washington D.C. on AA, as it was the only airline offering this direct route. To my surprise, the entire process was seamless, from boarding to landing. The flights were punctual, eliminating any need for excuses or explanations. Based on this positive experience, I am pleased to say AA has regained my trust and will be considered for my future travel needs.

Given Covid protocols, it is still baffling to me how these planes can be so overcrowded. But the flight in general was okay.
