Cons: "Iberia put me on standby with no notification or explanation. My entire trip came to a screeching hault. The stress and anxiety of waiting to see if I got on a flight with my new fiancé was wildly inexcusable on Iberia’s end. I am incredibly lucky to have made it on but it is deeply disturbing that Iberia would rely on luck so heavily after screwing me out of a seat I payed a lot for. I would have missed my connecting flights and been stuck in Spain for god knows how long since they wouldn’t tell me other flight information. I am very worried about flying with Iberia again."

Cons: "My touch screen froze at the beginning and I couldn't use it at all for the entire flight. Then I tried to use the headphones, but they crackled so loud in my ear and didn't work either."
Pros: "Nothing, the trip was terrible, the seats were awful and I had no chance to change them as I had to contact the third party. On line booking and seats reservation weren’t possible either cause I wasn’t buying the tickets directly with the company."

Cons: "I arrived 2 hr.30 min and regardless of having bought my ticket long time ago, October, I was placed standby because an overbooking of the plane. The agent in the counter claimed that they could do that because was "legal to overbook". One of the agents at the gate when I went to get my seat indicated that I paid for a "cheap ticket" and that I should take whatever seat they have left. I was given 46E. I was thrown my food on my table. I asked for the pasta option because I do not eat beef. She said: "That's what we have, we do not have more food. You are flying economy class". I was mistreated badly."
Cons: "It was hard to find where to go in the Madrid airport.and arrived only just in time to the check in. I was singled out before getting on the plane to be frisked, etc. One said there was something written on my boarding passes that was an alert. I am a 64 year old woman traveling alone....no plans for anything bad to be sure!"

Pros: "For a long haul, Iberia's standard class was fine and the seat actually had more room than I expected (having flown them in Europe). One flight attendant was AWESOME and helped me out when my gluten-free meal didn't arrive. I would say she went from ok to friendly so maybe not AWESOME but compared to the other flight attendants who weren't friendly at all, she was good."
Cons: "1. My gluten-free meal didn't arrive. AA pulled the same nonsense when I went from LAX to LHR. It is pretty infuriating. 2. My entertainment screen failed about 1/2 way through the flight. I came prepared but it was still annoying. 3. I pre-paid for a seat which was a hassle because the transaction failed with a cryptic message online and I had to call. When I went to check-in, I had a window, not aisle and was positioned at the very back of the plane. I requested a refund on the phone and that wasn't allowed so I tweeted (as they adverstise) and now filled a claim. Still no response."
Pros: "The crew was nice and attentive. Leg room in the extra leg room seat was absolutely worth the extra fee."

No water or checks or anything for almost 6 straight hours, unlike my prior flight. I had to finally get up and ask for water. Very disappointed."

Disposal for paper was stuffed. FYI Breakfast was inedible from ORD to Madrid."

Cons: "I am filing a complaint for my recent flight from Madrid to Chicago, IL on 2/26/17. During my flight, a five year old sat in front of me who was disruptive throughout the whole 9 hour flight. He was yelling and slamming on his tray table nonstop. This made it hard to sleep or relax on the flight. He was disruptive to everyone in the whole cabin. I tried to be patient, as it was a child, but when the child started climbing the seats of the row and kicking his legs in the aisle, I had to act. Not only was the child a hazard to the well being of the passengers of the flight, but he could have hurt himself. His parents did not seem to act on his behavior and did not speak my language so I was forced to approach the flight attendant in my cabin. I told the attendant, “N. Cara” as her name tag stated, how concerned I was with the child’s safety and how he was disrupting the flight experience of all the passengers on the flight. She was disgruntled as I was the third passenger to approach her. Instead of acting on the situation, she scolded me. In a rude and derogatory tone, she yelled at me claiming she couldn’t do anything and I should just move to a different seat. She yelled so loud she attracted the attention of all the passengers around. I am shocked and disappointed with the treatment and customer service I received from the crew on this flight. Furthermore, I recommend that the airline should ensure that their employees are competent enough to deal with situations where passenger’s safety are at risk. The fact that the crew member did not attempt to approach the child’s mother or address the situation at all was appalling. It should not be the customer’s responsibility to address disturbances or safety precautions on a flight. I do not think I was treated well on this flight and I am very unhappy with the services I received and paid a great amount of money for. I believe I should be compensated for the mistreatment I endured. This may have been the worst flight I have ever had and I do not plan on choosing Iberia Airlines ever again due to this experience."

Cons: "Iberia Airlines The flight attendants on the Iberia section of the flight from Madrid to Chicago could have cared less. The plane was late and the crew could have cared less. They fasten seat belt sign was on way way too long with no turbulence so they did not have to open the bar. They would not serve vodka from the cart and you needed to go to the back of the aircraft for it. Will not fly Iberia again. ."

I really had a very good experience with American and though they tend to be more expensive they seem to be worth it in terms of comfort and amenities. I am willing to spend the extra money on Anerican if they continue to provide better than average service."
Cons: "I was wondering why I paid Iberia for an American Airline ticket. I wondered if this was some way to avoid paying taxes by funneling an US registered corporation fees through a Spanish registered corporation. It didn't make sense to me. I'm not a huge fan of legal games to avoid responsibilities. Still, very good flights."
Pros: "The food was surprisingly good, and I had no issues once on either plane."
Cons: "The layover in Madrid was too short. Because the first leg was slightly delayed, I missed the flight to my final destination. They ended up giving me a ticket which departed more than 12 hours after my arrival in Madrid (!). I had to go to the horrible inconvenience of wandering through the huge airport looking for their customer support desk, waiting in line, returning an hour or two later, and eventually getting myself a standby ticket on an earlier flight. I still ended up in the airport for about 4-6 hours. They provided a coupon for a free lunch, and there was a lounge to stay in, but for a transatlantic flight, adding an extra 4-6 hours was really bad."

Pros: "The food for vegetarian meals was horrible. They gave only salad and fruit dish. In a regular meal, they got other perks such as a cake, candy, yogurt, and salad with dressing and a better main meal. Vegetarians can eat cake, candy, and yogust. Also, salad dressing such as ranch or something would be nice. I don't think this flight understands what vegetarian truly means. It does not mean salad and fruit. We we also not given bread that comes with butter. Begetar I and eat bread. Also, for main meal for vegetarians pasta with marinara or patio sauce or a cheese pizza slice would have been nice. Please look at British airway and other airline vegetarian menus for Better sense."
