Pros: "Crew was fantastic. They offered to valet my bag as I was boarding when they saw that it was cumbersome for me. The stewardess put me in a great seat when I was helpful to another passenger upon boarding. Also everyone seemed to be quite attentive and helpful during the covid situation, where people are a bit unnerved. I appreciated the effort to make everyone happy."
Cons: "The landing was a bit rough, but the rest of the flight was a dream. Definitely one of the better experiences Ive had in my 34 years of flying."

Pros: "The check in process was very nice and smooth. The staff was so nice and friendly. Flight attendants were very nice too."
Cons: "The seats are just too squished. For a ten hour flight, it was SO uncomfortable."

Cons: "Does basic economy not get beverage service? My husband who was in basic economy and two rows in front of me got a beverage. The crew skipped from my row, # 22 all the way to the back. There was no rough air that would’ve made them cut off or announcement made that service was being discontinued."

Pros: "Plane had three delays. Apparently American mechanics are not allowed to strike so they have these fake or very slow mechanical issues."
Cons: "Be on time. We missed our overseas connection and had to buy new tickets to Italy"

Cons: "The service very poor, from London to Barcelona, they do not offer water only items to sell. I asked for tap water and they forgot. I had to get up from my seat to get it because they forgot"

Cons: "The plane's Air-conditioning wasn't working and the flight became very uncomfortable.The crew (ground personal and staff onboard) did their job as supposed to be and were courteous and good."

Cons: "Flights could be on time. Every one of the 4 flights were late. Also it would be nice to offer a snack that doesnt contain wheat and sugar."

Pros: "The seats were very comfortable, The staff were nice, the food was ok."

Cons: "American airlines conection left us behind. Have to wait 24 h for next flight in Dallas Airport DFW with no assistance of any kind, because of "weather conditions". It a shame, never again American Airlines."

Cons: "To change a flight they want $200! That is why I changed to Southwest."

Pros: "Desk attendant was very kind, but clearly had no idea what to tell us."
Cons: "See previous flight post, another delay for mechanical issues, another round of poor communication."

Pros: "Crew was very helpful."

Cons: "Mobile boarding passes did not work and required us to go back to the service counter and print the tickets. Luckily we had time but this was a hassle given we were traveling with our 3 year old. The woman at the service desk quickly helped us print the passes but stated the mobile boarding passes tended to not scan. They should have told us to print the passes the first time we were at the counter if they knew the mobile passes tend to not work."

Cons: "1. The music played while boarding and deboarding was not relaxing. It made me anxious and irritable. 2. The food was absolutely poor. Taste, etc 3. Poor selection of movies, etc.. 4. Poor selection of music, especially the classical channel. Won't be flying American again if I can help it."

Cons: "I was so disappointed as soon as I walked into the plane. It was very old plane and very dated. There was no entertainment center. It was a long flight with nothing to do. :( I will never fly with American Airlines to Europe again)"

Cons: "Cabin was like an icebox. People were wrapping up in sweaters and jackets. Many raised hands observed attempting to close the overhead vents. Multiple complaints to flight crew yielded a minor improvement but it was still on comfortably cool."

Pros: "AA crew members are friendly, we got a lots of beverage provide to us."

Cons: "I didnt like that we were an hour and a half delayed and we werent informed why. Then as I am trying to update my pickup person one of the crew members was really rude and I tried to explain and it didnt help. She was rude infront of all the passengers. Not planning to fly in AA anymore."

Pros: "Entertainment was good. Food was pretty decent considering it was gluten free. Wish there were more snacks on command kind of thing. I got really hungry. The guy working at the madrid ticketing counter that helped me check in my bags. Super cool dude. Very easy to talk to. Spoke perfect English and spanish because he was raised in usa but his mom is from spain. He was very detailed in I was going to have to navigate both madrid and dallas airports."
Cons: "The VERY first American Airline lady I met at Madrid airport who was like the first greeter. I was looking at all the different posted signs to see where to go and she says “hola” and i say “hola” back. She asked me which class i was in i said whichever the normal one is. All while im inching my way towards where i seem to already to know where to go. The lady kind of snaps at me and says “stop excuse me im talking to you.” I wasnt really walking away from this lady, i was inching towards what seemed to be i needed to go(and in fact was where i needed to go). I am fully capable of listening and moving at the same time. I dont need to be scolded like 5 year old child because she thinks I wasn’t listening to her. I was listening and progressing towards the place i need to be at the same time and also using two different languages in my head in order to talk to her. So that is just what i would call mulitasking for a person and not grounds for someone to use a parenting tactic on another adult at 730am."

Cons: "Seat back in front of us broke. So my partner and I had to move to other seats during landing."

Cons: "Couldn't use WiFi to watch Netflix or YouTube so our 2 year old would be entertained"

Cons: "Lost connection because previous flight was too late , had long wait. The space in the seat on the plane were quite small and the plan looked old, or not updated. It didn't have individual screen monitor for entertainment , which I think nowadays is expected; especially for a coast to coast flight."

Pros: "We made it there and back on time and safely"
Cons: "This was an old plane; there was no power for devices, no individual movie screens as on other trans atlantic carriers, food was so so."

Cons: "Pre-booked Special meals were not catered to. Could have appreciated more friendly crew."

Pros: "A flight that actually had extra seats? I couldn't believe it. Plus the entertainment options made the 8 hour flight "fly" by (no pun intended)"

Cons: "This flight was operated by Avianca, the flight was delayed 2 hours at the beginning, they said they will give as a voucher for food while we wait, when I went to the counter they said they don't give anything for a 2 hours delay. Then the flight was delayed a 1/2 hour extra, it was not even announced and we ended up boarding at 12:15am from a flight that was supposed to leave at 9:35pm, then the plane was waiting for 1/2 hour before we went abroad and I ended up arriving at 2am to my destination when I was supposed to arrive at 10:45pm, this was the worst fight experience and we didn't even got an apology for the inconvenience."

Pros: "(1) The flight was overbooked and boarded late. (2) The crew and flight attendants flying to NY had more baggage space than the passengers. (3) The pilot and crew were excellent and I enjoyed my overall flight."
Cons: "Stop overbooking the plan. I don't mind paying more"

Cons: "the seats are too close together. I understand the desire to maximize quantity; I do however think that AA has gone too far. Leg room is necessary, not a luxury. The cost of the ticket should include leg room."

Cons: "No power outlets. A bag of chips in 1st class is pretty weak. Compared to Europe flights we can from, aircraft felt like 1960's Aeroflot."

Pros: "Companion in flight nice Korean girl... We chatted trough all flight time"
Cons: "Arrived and luggage did not arrive and had to open a claim and had to go back to pick my luggage next day, not pleasant considering I live in Juarez Mexico and had to cross the border all tired and fed up with this incident"

Cons: "Never got a complimentary beverage. The cart only delivered to some of the rows"

Pros: "Once I managed to get to my connecting terminal which was an adventure in itself, the original plane we were to fly on was having maintenance issues. The ground crew worked quickly to get a different plane and moved us to an adjoining terminal."
Cons: "LAX. The airport is just a pain with long lines for everything, although staff try very hard to help you get where you need to be"

Pros: "Good service from the flight attendants."
Cons: "BA and AA don't have their computers coordinated so if you book on BA, but the flight is on AA, your booking reference number for check in, etc., does not work. You have to call customer care for AA to get their booking reference number."

Pros: "Flight was delayed and hour and they lost out baggage. Did not have clothes for 2 days"

Cons: "Never got to board that plane due to delay of my previous flight."

Pros: "Overall, it was a decent flight. Tucked way in the back, but no major issues."
Cons: "One flight attendant spent the majority of the flight flirting with the guy behind me. Another had a voice so loud that I could hear him through my earplugs and Bose headphones while trying to sleep on the overnight flight. I also don't like that I booked with Qantas and ended up on an American flight."

Cons: "I ask many AA customer assistance this question no body help me understand. I buy a seat and a 70$ extra for a premium what does this seat offer , what am I paying 70 $ for"

Cons: "Tiny seats in Economy, BA on the way to New York was so much better! Faulty seat which wouldn't recline properly and faulty entertainment system!! Having to pay extra for seat choice and then getting a tiny with no leg space or side space, again the BA plane on the way out was much better"

Cons: "Difficult to recline chair. Limited snack options. Landing was a bit rough."

Pros: "It left on time, the cabin crew were very nice, they kept us well fed. The pilot didn't hit any pot holes. No annoying children. We didn't realize that we would have to go thru US customs at the Dublin airport, That added another big chunk of time to reach the boarding gate. We made it with 20 minutes to spare. On the plus side, we could just breeze thru the US side and leave the airport."
