For parents who use the ratings as one piece of information to guide their children, it would be nice to have correct information when making selections. this problem is not new; it's been this way for over a year now. Cons: "I was dreamy disappointed when I purchase the ticket I thought I was going on luthhansa Airlines instead, i was on United Airlines which had a old 747 back in the 1990's it was dirty and uncomfortable. When I made the booking on kayka there was no indication that United Airlines was going to be substitute Airline"

Pros: "The worst part of my experience was the rudeness of the crew."

Pros: "Movie deal was enjoyable. But a tough week for the friendly skies!"
Cons: "Mechanical caused me to miss my connection. Exterior of 777 had paint peeling off the fuselage, which is a bad sign. Plane needs an overhaul"

Pros: "Super easy & smooth flight. We left on time & arrived early."
Cons: "Nothing really. Honestly, I slept for half the trip, so it was pretty uneventful."

Pros: "I had a special meal and they were mindful to bring it and check that everything was okay."
Cons: "I downloaded the United app for entertainment but for some reason, I wasn't able to watch movies. It kept giving me an error. Make sure you download the app before the flight and that you have the latest version! At least they were playing movies and shows on the main screens."

Pros: "We didn't crash?"
Cons: "After much concerns and inquiries made bag did NOT make the plane! There is as no one to h love me to n white Planes for 45 minutes! No one at the counter? Wow! Finally supervisor Jill was able to track it down in Chicago where th y took it off the he plane as my carry on because they had no room l ft from the h limited space. After working very hard to get my bag of o White Plains that evening, supervisor Jill hung out an hour past her shift ended to get it on the last transport to my hotel. The transport blew herself by ft and never showed up or called the o say he wasn't coming back! I got my bag on he next morning just in tim for my event! I also was not credited my frequent flyer miles. Some glitch in the system. Overall I must rate my experience as a one star simply because the pilots got us there safely."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats, inefficient food service and pricey, and entertainment is a rip off."

Pros: "The crew was very nice and polite. Service was prompt and excellent"
Cons: "Excessively long layovers. I came home with 3 broken ribs and had to endure a 11 hour layover in Japan and another 6 hour layover in San Francisco."

Cons: "The flight was overbooked and they were offering vouchers for later flights, wasn't a bad thing, though, I'd have done it."

Pros: "No charging docks on plane as military duffle bag open with clothing hanging out on arrival ~ not sure if anything stolen but the threat is very real and it's unacceptable for military bags to be delivered in that manner"

Pros: "The pilot apologized profusely for our delayed departure, and offered us free in-flight TV. He made up time, and we arrived only 30 minutes late (take-off was delayed over an hour)."

Cons: "Plane didn't leave until 2.5 hours after expected departure time and we never got an actual reason why. This also made me miss my connecting flight so I had to spend an additional 6 hours in the airport waiting."

Cons: "One of the fight attendants answered no to moving to an empty seat saying it was an Economy Plus seat but in less than 3 minutes another passenger freely occupied that seat. Really?"

Pros: "Noting"
Cons: "Bought the ticket from Lufthansa but the operator was United. Although it was known by the operator that there is a delay already at check-in, passengers where notified only at the gate. Delay was so long that most passengers would miss their connection. After standing an hour in line at the gate to book alternate connection, counter was closed and we were directed to another 10 min walk away. After another 1.5 hours without reaching a representative we had to rush back to the gate to board. In Frankfurt had to stay in standby for the next alternative flight. Luggage was delayed in the US for 2 more days."

Pros: "Easy quick boarding - attendants seemed to watch and keep the misc items from going into the overhead."
Cons: "Being woken up to see if I wanted water or food"

Pros: "Boarding was much more organized with lines marked for each boarding group. The crew was super friendly. Also, I received a whole can of cran-apple juice, which was much nicer than just a small cup. The tv options were also fairly priced for the options available."

Cons: "Long delay in San Francisco"

Cons: "Many open seats but I was crowded into the back with several small children directly behind me and to the side who were wiggling, screaming, crying with parents correcting, chastising and singing to them. Thank goodness the trip was just over an hour and not any longer'"

Cons: "First : I bought Lufthansa tickets but was flown w United. Rude staff terrible food and unbearable seating no tv monitors per seat. I travel to Europe 4 time a year... This was without question the worse"

Cons: "The main cabin entertainment was really bad, with picture freezeng once every few minutes for 20sec. Crew ignored it, movies mostly not watchable"

Cons: "There was a long time delay. The inflight crew seemed to have an issue with helping you and when you did finally get a stewardess/steward, they will tell you to wait. No hot towel and almost an 8 hour wait to get your meal on a 13 hr flight!!!"

Pros: "Flight crew"
Cons: "I couldn't believe that this long flight had NOTHING in the form of entertainment. No wifi to watch on your own device and no inflight entertainment. I was stuck in the middle of 2 people with a baby with nothing to pass the hours. Unbelievable!!!"

Pros: "United got my passengers from origin to destination on time."
Cons: "UA staff tried to intimidate my daughter into redesign sting her registered service dog as a "comfort aninal", and demanded that she describe the nature of the dog's service, IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT. UA staff also, at the outset of the flight, attempted to confiscate all food and drink items from passengers, so that UA could immediately sell food and drink items to passengers."

Cons: "Seats were not comfortable, no individual tv screens"

Pros: "You can carry up to 16kg in your carry on. That's great."
Cons: "Food was below average and only twice during a 14 hours flight. Plus, no free snack available... you have to pay. I will think twice about travelling with United for an international flight."

Pros: "Movies were ok."
Cons: "Openly rude, almost argumentative staff. I was afraid to talk back because the last thing I want is any accusation of bad behavior on an airplane. But if this were a restaurant, the customers would get up and leave without eating. I've never had this experience on China Airlines or Japan Air. I will never use UA again."

Cons: "Seat could not recline, voucher was only a small fraction of the ticket fare that I paid. This is a business class seat."

Cons: "power outlets were present but not functional. A real pity as I counted on it for my long trip to keep my portable devices. Lounge in Chicago does not have many outlets either and the next plane to Brussels either. This prevented me to keep my devices up along my trip preventing to work or watch movie as I wanted."

Pros: "No food provided except small snack"
Cons: "Completely full flight"

Pros: "Food was good, flight was early, and I watched three movies on my phone through the United app. No complaints here!"
