The room for legs is adequate for a 6’ tall man and the flight was comfortable. The cabin is clean and the crew is very friendly and pleasant.
It was a great experience, friendly staff and good snacks
Flight was late to board, then overweight. I booked a non stop flight for a reason, ended up having to re-fuel in Texas, arrived three hours late.
Couldn’t plug in the computer to the electrical plug underneath the seat. Should accommodate a computer power line.
The staff were nice and the plane was clean, but charging for everything beyond the ticket was, quite frankly, poor customer service on your part. A cross-country flight should include at least a sandwich and one checked bag. This was my first Alaska flight and was booked because of convenience, but it might not have been worth it because of the baggage fee. United had free wi-fi and free movies, at least. Southwest allows for one free checked bag and has prices comparable to yours.
Alaska Airlines was fantastic. Kayak on the other hand was extremely poor. I got tickets through Kayak for a flight to a funeral. The date got changed less than 12 hours after I made my reservations. When I attempted to change my flights through Kayak, I was unable to use either the website or the phone system. The phone matrix did not give an option to cancel or change. The website said Kayak could not find any record of me making airline reservations through Kayak and even through I never left the Kayak website when making the reservations to my knowledge. After more than a half hour of frustration on the phone and computer ( on top of dealing with the death of a member of my family) I finally contacted Alaska Airline directly and they cancelled my flight and refunded the cost very quickly and efficiently. Alaska Airlines gets 10 stars. Kayak gets zero stars and has permanently lost a customer. I will never use Kayak again.
My experience with Alaska Airlines flights is dominated by the fact that today’s economy class is barely humane. Everyone is so tightly packed together that one cannot move an inch for the entire flight…. and if it’s a bicoastal trip, that’s almost five hours of discomfort!! And if you’re above average in height and/or weight it’s absolute hell! Moreover, still all Economy classes are basically the same across airline carriers, it doesn’t matter who you fly with.
Good service by crew unlike my Delta flight to LA No TV was downer and flying MAX 9
I liked having a non stop flight from SFO to TPA. Crew was friendly and accommodating. My only critique which is very minor is that I didn’t feel like there were many good movies to watch.
Flight crew was wonderful. Always smiled, and professional. Leg room was better than other airlines! Extremely grateful for that. Did not like the quantity of pets that were on that flight. I understand that that is not specific to the airline, however I wish there was a capacity limit as to how many pets per flight are allowed. Having a pet in each row that was surrounding my seat, was too many for someone who has allergies.
