We were unable to board our flight at the Philadelphia airport because when we arrived (almost 2 hours before our flight) the ticket counter was already closed for the evening. No one from American Airlines could help us. We were left stranded at the ticket counter until it reopened at 3:15 am. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the poor service we received from American Airlines. After hearing multiple horror stories from others, it is safe to say we will never fly that airline again."

I bought tickets for some airlines called Finnair and end up in the worse airline there is “American Airline” this is Not fare for clients, I refuse to flight Americans Airline, if I would have known I would have not buy this flight. 7 hours in a plane with no TV, no free drinks and the worse service. This is a trick, by using Finnair and then end up in AA! There is no Finnair, this is a lie! I am so disappointed about Kayak and won’t use it again. Thank you for rob me and trick me into the worse experience!"

They asked if they could have my middle seat so they could sit together - hurray! After that, the person in the aisle seat next to my husband was willing to swap her aisle seat for my new-found aisle seat. But on long flights, greater efforts should be made to seat couples together."

A little embarrassing that an airline in America can't afford a hotel for people stranded in a city overnight."

At times, someone within the ranks of this company needs to understand the experience and financial position of the average passenger. $12.00 voucher for dinner and breakfast in Panama city Panama is an example of being disconnected from the reality of that experience."

I don't know what was going on but we were trapped there and it caused me to miss my flight. There were no other flight out and I ended up having to book an entirely new ticket. I believe that LGA or American Airlines should refund my expenses, because otherwise it makes me not want to ever go through either again."

I understand that things happen and illnesses are sometimes sprung upon us but that wasn't the issue. The issue was that there was not a backup in place for an instance like this. I understand the time of night was the main issue but planes are flying 24/7."

Cons: "The flight was delayed over 11 hours for maintenance. They provided car service back to our home but we waited an hour at JFK for the vendor Skyway to arrive. The car had a bad odor and the driver didn't know who he was picking up or where he was taking us. Should seriously consider contracting with a different vendor. The next morning, after we boarded, we waited an hour on the plane before taking off while they searched for a maintenance book. The entertainment system did not work at all nor did the Wi-Fi. Overall American Airlines did a very poor job communicating the delays ahead of time. I won't be flying an international flight with AA again."

Cons: "No entertainment systems were working at all. Leaving San Francisco to kahului we had so many unruly young adults that were just out if control. They kept switching seats, spilling alcohol all over me and my stuff and the flight crew could not care less. We even had an older Asian flight attendant on flight 1749 that was just overwhelmed for the job. She would hand the person on the isle a handful of pretzels and say 'here, pass these out'. The other flight crew members made it worse by treating her poorly. You could tell they didn't like her and were agitated by her. Instead if being polite and educating, they were exasperated and impatient. Overall was super disappointed. I have flown United so many times back home to Maui and was always so please and excited to brag about how great United was. Not this time. Thanks for reading."

In which they don't have any. They send me all the way to Newark. So i had to find my way to NY then to CT. The TSA officers that work at this airline are awful. Overall experience was horrible. I would give it zero stars if I can."

Cons: "I was in Group 5, and by the time boarding was complete with group 2, there was no more room in the overhead bins for carry on luggage. This meant that Groups 3-5 needed to gate check carry on bags and then pick them up in the Baggage Claim at ORD. This added unnecessary time to the end of my journey. I'll look around at other airlines before I fly United again. Jet Blue, on the other hand (from ORD to FLL) was great!!"

Could not get seats online, at the kiosks or at the desk. Really fruatrating! My wife and I had to sit apart for the return flight. Will not fly United again unless no choice."

Poor planning. There was another flight I tried to get on but they couldn't seem to locate their flight attendants and it was delayed about 6 hours."

At 30,000 feet it is impossible without paying for wifi. Also, I was actually looking forward to the little snack sized peanuts. Instead, you're given a salty trail mixed something that's seasoned very heavily. It just made me want to sneak water from the drink cart rather than curbing my hunger."
