Love the experience, a little bummed about the AA flights. Its great to have more flexibility with times, but its not the same customer experience. (Mix of snacks, entertainment, free wifi. It seems more of a benefit in terms of experience for AA customers now flying JetBlue that the other way around

Cons: "I arrived to a chair with crumbs and wrappings on it, and, seated next to someone who was too big for their spot so much so that nearly half of my seat was taken by part of their body - plus, the arm rest could not be put down so I was unable to access any entertainment or ordering of snacks. this person needed my help to turn on lights, air-vent, access a larger seatbelt, read menus, pick things up for her . . . all and all I am a compassionate and helpful person but this was an overnight flight and I was forced into being her personal assistant on a completely full flight, made incredibly uncomfortable and unable to get any rest for myself. I paid over $450 for this flight and it was at best worth $69. About 2/3 into the flight, the plane went through some turbulence and the cabin pressure dropped so much that I began to get dizzy, have difficulty breathing and start sweating - I thought I was going to pass out! This took about 20 minutes to recover. I am a seasoned flier putting in at least one flight every other month for the last 5 years and this was one by bar one of the most unpleasant flights I have ever taken. The on-board staff attempted to help by giving me a snack box and a glass of wine but there was no-room to reseat me so i could have a decent flying experience."

No seat assignment. Was put in the absolute last seat in the plane. Flight was delayed because of an electrical issue which also broke the AC until we were taxi-ing. It was hot.

Seats were narrow and uncomfortable ( business ) and there was only one toilet for both business and premier…. The one up front was blocked as it was solely for the crew …. One always had to wait in line with 3/4 people in front of you ..at minimum….. while you waited , the crew made it clear that you were in their way …. Fair enough as we had to stand partially in the galley…

Cons: "When my flight with American Airlines cancelled, I felt so panicked because I needed to be in Florida on Saturday night. But thankfully, lady who works for American Airlines solved my problem on the phone in couple of minutes easily. After that, when we were boarding to the aircraft, there was a cabin attendant lady. She came to us and ask me and my mother if we can talk English.I answered her with yes we can, but she demands to talk with my mother. And English is not her native language, but it doesn't prove that she doesn't know it. She tried to ask questions to her like, "where were you today?" so we couldn't really understand the reason for her to ask those questions in the first place. So we couldn't really say anything. While we were talking about my mother's English, the all aircraft was watching us, and trying to figure out what was going on. After all, she made us to sit there and wait her to replace us with other passengers. We waited the whole aircraft to be seated, then she took us to another seat with my mother. I can understand that it is her job but I'm not sure, if it had to be that much discomfort. We got pretty upset about it and it affects our flight quality. Plus, while cabin crew serving beverages, they didn't really ask us anything. We needed to call them for our order. To be honest, I would never flight with Delta. It was a disappointment."

Crew was nice and accommodating, but someone failed to inspect the plane before the passengers got on and we ended up deplaning and changing planes when this could have been avoided.

I had my 2 year old and hate checked my stroller and when I got to Miami there was no crew to bring it up they told me so I had to carry a sleeping child and my carry on along with my making sure my 5 year old was with me. Then my stroller wasn’t even with my bags it was on a domestic arrivals. Horrible experience.

Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase. An awful awful trip thanks to American Airlines.

Given Covid protocols, it is still baffling to me how these planes can be so overcrowded. But the flight in general was okay.

Once we got on the flight everything was fine. The first leg of our flight was delayed 3 times but American sent us emails allowing us to chose a new itinerary.

The airplane was hot and stuffy with little airflow. They don’t offer any beverages to customers other than first class passengers citing COVID issues. There is no risk if COVID spread through giving each passenger a soda. It is incredibly unfair that first class passengers are served both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in cups but other passengers are not."

I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired."

The captain had to finally, after several hours, come to the boarding area to inform all of us that there was problem that was not communicated correctly so we then had to wait an additional 2.5 hours more on top of the original 2.5 hour delay for the two certified mechanics on St. Croix to attest that the plane could fly. No one asked them to come earlier, so we waited for pretty much five (5) hours. We were promised meals and hotel in Miami. the Miami American Airlines service desk told us, sorry, there's so many people, we could not be accommodated. This is outrageous, and I want my money back. I paid for 4 people on that flight and we were treated horribly. On top of that....Cheapoair, representative from whom I bought the tickets, sold me tickets without my understanding that we only had 41 minutes to get off the original flight from Christiansted find the next flight and board it. We never would have made it. Final point, the Cheapoair guy who sold me the tickets charged me about 500 dollars more than what he said the cost was. He quoted and said "all in" 1150 per ticket (I bought 4 tickets). He then charged me nearly 5300 Again this is outrageous and a complete sham. I demand to be compensated for this."

Having frequently flown coach class on these overseas flights, I have a hard time folding my long legs into the cramped seats and arriving rested and in good humor. I can say unequivocally that the flight attendants give you much more personalized attention in business class. I didn't have to, but I preordered my meals and that info was registered, and that way I got what I wanted. I also made use of the Admirals Clubs during layovers."

Cons: "I take this flight quite a lot. These comments are for this flight (MIA/MSP) - but not necessarily only for this exact flight that I took on 10/1. To be clear - the crew says "this is not AA", it is Republic Airlines". Well, they must think of themselves very poorly. Their food in first class is always changing - oh, I meant only the names for the same exact meal change. "Grilled Chicken with Couscous", "Grilled Chicken with Risotto", etc.. - all cold meals as they do not have an oven/microwave? on the plane. They are charging first class international prices for economy domestic service. For this amount of money, they should have better meals and a more modern airplane. The first class is always freezing (even in summer) while the rear cabin where the crew stays when not working, is hot. So if they make the first class happy with the correct temperature, they cook in the back. I have also observed more people than usual coughing and getting colds - both ways - than any of the other flights I take regularly (over 115,000 miles on AA this year). I would suggest that AA make it clear that Republic must offer better service to their customers - especially for the large airfares they are receiving."

Booked with BA but it was operated by AA. Never again, Coming back the food was better but was told they were out of fish, my husband on the other side of me was told they were out of chicken. when questioned, got a dumb answer. ran out of wine (red&White) Spain & France on a day flight & told us they have no control. Service sucks, except 1 nice fellow, who apologized. 6 bottles for 36 passengers. 1 crew had cold towel around his neck sitting, 1 doing crossword so we had to help ourselves. 1 crew saw something in the plane & screamed so hard woke up a sleeping pilot. 1 crew slept for 2 hrs and 1 watch TV for 1 hrs. NEVER VERY, IF I CAN AVOID IT, WILL I TRAVEL WITH AA. They own a lot of us more than an apology."

Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general."

On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did."

I was booked to a crappy room in MIA that I had to get changed to another hotel. THEN my departing flight from Puerto Plata back to the US was delayed 2 plus hours (as was the first flight) due to a flat tire that had to be replaced. I missed my connecting flight and had to be placed on the next flight to DCA which was the last flight. This experience was the worst. I do not have a favorable opinion of American, of which I have flown this airline for years."

An absurd! Flight was rescheduled to today at 10am and obviously took off 1h delayed because AA can't organize simple things to expedite the boarding process."

It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. Cons: "The original booked flight was about 12 hours before the rebooked flight. We got up at about 2:00 am to leave for the airport at 3:30 am for a 6:30 am flight. We were all packed and booked our ride and shuttinlpg down the computer at the last minute when we noticed an mail after midnight telling us the flight was cancelled. We called and were told there was nothing they could do, due to connections and this was entirely their fault. Approximately 12 hours later we took a “red eye” thus arriving a day late for our hotel and car reservations. We were charged baggage fees and not sure if our priority boarding will be refunded."
Pros: "On time. Was able to sleep through much of what was likely an annoying flight because there was no personal entertainment--the tiny screens overhead would have been impossible to see and they were showing a movie that was lame. It seemed anachronistic."
Cons: "At the Lima gate they made each passenger open their carryon and submit to a secondary inspection to confiscate all water we bought past security. No warning was given about this. I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."
Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done."

Whilst I didn't like needing to hand in my carry on (without much warning so I didn't have time to pull out a magazine to read) on the plus side it was stored well as my suit carrier came out unscathed and you get your bags curb side as soon as the plane lands so you don't have to wait for the rest of the bags to unload."

AA did not and the make me feel like an intruder when I went to check the empty snacks trays! Only the package food was still available. Horrible service, mean big headed crew! It's is simple! Be nice and make an effort! Especially for the people that actually is there paying the premium!"

I hate to think that he did it because we were Black Americans."

The airport food sources were closed, and AA kept us until 1am-- no food, no internet, and, because LGA has terrible cell reception, no phone service. Once we got on the plane, everyone was really hungry, and the plane had no snacks. No entertainment because the TV system was broken. It was just a miserable experience. I regret trying to save $20 by booking that flight. I have had nothing but terrile experiences on American Airlines-- NEVER AGAIN."

The female manager, Latoya, at the desk was overly rude and completely out of line the way she was speaking to guests. Apparently American Airlines requests 90 minutes before departure to check you in, however their website does say they will try to accomadate customers that have arrived late. This employee refused 24 people access to the flight that we had booked and paid for. She related that she could put everyone on standby for the next and final flight out of Saint Thomas and standby for multiple connecting flights from Miami to many different parts of the country. This is because American Airlines over books their flights on purpose and has no problem leaving people stranded at an airport. Another employee related that it was easily accomplished to confirm is for the flight as we would have plenty of time prior to boarding since the aircraft had yet to arrive from its original location. American Airlines would not speak to any of the paid customers and would not look into other flights to see if there were other options to get customers home. When we boarded the plane there were still 4 customers that American Airlines stranded at the airport with no more flights out of the airport that day. This was an absolute disgrace and it was disgusting to see how the American Airlines staff were treating people. Their companies customer service has nothing to say other then sorry. I will never fly American Airlines again and now know why so many other people also feel this way."

She asked me for the Trip ID # and I found it right away. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I LOST 700 DOLLARS. I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER PLAIN TICKET!!!!!"

The check-in process couldn't have been worse. Besides they have no customer service to speak of, I wasn't able to purchase a 2nd checked bag prior to the trip, the app just wouldn't let me no matter what. I spent over an hour on hold waiting for a rep who wasn't able to help me. At the airport we politely asked the rep to help since we were unable. She flatly refused to do anything. When we asked to speak to a supervisor she said she was one of the most senior people there and if "We're still not happy she can give me a number to call where I can wait on hold for over 2 hours to be told the same thing I'm telling you now." Absolutely atrocious. First and definitely LAST time flying Allegiant.

We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

When the lady next to me said she would gladly pay Tyeesha announced loudly that this discussion was between the two of them and everyone else needed to mind their own business. The lady offering to switch was really embarrassed, as was the elderly gent. Someone else was made to switch with him. They looked disgruntled too. In the air all the flight attendants were sharp and very direct. There were no please or thank you's used. Trash was collected silently and mostly with pointing. The armrest to my left had five flavors of chewed gum stuck to the side of it. My lap tray had grey and yellow sticky stuff on it and I chose to hold my food rather than let the two touch. The floors were untidy. The only reason I will ever fly Allegiant again is if I have no other options. It is 60 minutes closer to my house than SLC and I will be making the drive from now on."

Cons: "We weren't allowed to put our carryons in the overhead. We were forced to put them under the seat in front of us because the plane was full. This left no place for our feet or stretching our legs. The seats were cramped so closely together, our knees touched the seat pocket in front of us. When putting down the tray table, it pressed against our stomachs. The landing was the worst and scariest one I've experienced in over 40 yrs of frequent flying. We hit so fast and hard that the plane teetered from one wheel to the other and fish tailed so hard that people's necks were hurt. If possible, I'll never fly United again."

Pros: "Crew attempted to make a "backup" booking due to the delay in my connection to Newark. I had a 12:45 flight that was delayed. We departed at 1:45. I was booked on the 4:51 connection to Detroit and 8:58 as a backup."

Pros: "I had 2 awesome flight attendants, Scott and Rico. They were friendly and I talked to them for a bit. I think that they didn't have to help me with what I needed, they just smiled and said yes. I didn't have anyone in the middle seat, so I had plenty of room. I was very comfortable and had a good flight."

Cons: "That they took my take in luggage & had me put it aside to out in the belly of the plane. I had my laptop & iPad in there. It happened so fast I didn't think to take them out. I was planning to do some work on the plane but couldn't since u took my laptop. Also, they changed the gate and no one told us. We were lucky we asked a question to find out the gate had been changed."

Cons: "I was seated in a window seat and another woman my size about 110 pounds was seated in the aisle however there was a 400+ pound man sitting in a middle seat which made it very difficult for me especially to even sit back because it was touching me the whole time when you have somebody of that size You should make sure they are on and I'll because then the find attendance would have some difficulty getting through instead of your passengers being inconvenienced either that or force people of that size to take two seats"

Cons: "First the flight was delayed more than 1.5 hrs and then I get a text that my suitcase was coming in the next flight which there was none, to then find out that my suitcase was there after my ride was returning to then come back to pick me up. Very unorganized."

Cons: "Airport was horrible! Security line was 45 min. long and on the other side of the world. The plane was an hour late! No snow. No storms. Why? The crew, I guess tired, seemed bothered by the company of the passengers. The line to wait at the gate was very unorganized and confusing. No one knew which line was for which gate and people where cutting into lines everywhere. The airlines should provide better guidance for its passengers. I was connecting from Germany with Lufthansa and wow what a difference in customer service."
