I am incredibly happy with my Air China experience. Crew worked diligently to create a good experience, and was kind when I was having difficulty communicating. The food was surprisingly fabulous! Authentic Chinese cuisine and tasty. Several passengers did not review the regulations and were pretty rude when Air China crew told them to turn off and put away cell phones. Crew handled this well.
Bathrooms were not very clean. I didn't realize until halfway through the flight that we needed to get our own beverages and throw away our own trash (different than the other airlines)- would have appreciated this being announced. I was confused during boarding process about when to stand and when to board, but watched the people around me and figured it out. We took off late/ landed late, but I was able to make my connection in Beijing without any stress so was happy.
Agent was VERY helpful and helped me to change my seat so that I could have an aisle. She also made sure I had the aisle seat on my connecting flight
Breakfast was not good unfortunately
Food was good. Flight attendants were good.
Tiny beds in business class with two-across seating so the window passenger has to climb over the aisle passenger. Are they stuck in the 90s? I won't fly with them again. Boarding in Beijing for Manila was a free for all. Business class was not called first. Isn't this why I pay triple the coach fare? No English language newspapers from Los Angeles to Beijing.
Goof food and service
The flight was delayed by 95 minutes, which screw up my schedule badly..
Flight attendants are friendly and accommodating. Willing to meet all my reasonable needs. Meals are Ok.
Seats are a little small considering my body size.
Flight was frigid.
was really nice that after i asked they got me a nice seat on emergency exit road which really made my trip much more comfortable.
Customer service was good and complimentary food was served during flight. Compar to other airlines require’s me to purchase and with card.
Movie selection needs to get better and maybe you should add one more snack because for a 12 hours flight it wasn't enough. I was hungry at the end.
I don't like the first come first serve boarding system its chaos out there
Price was great - the aircraft was new
food was so so - no choice was given on the first meal - snack was a sandwich but the bread was very very dry - crew was very stingy in giving out drinks - half a glass for soda - found the crew not very friendly

everything has much improved from my previous flight from LAX to BKK about 1.5 years ago. cabin was still a bit cold, but flight attendants were able to give me an additional blanket. they ran out of blankets last time i flew on China Eastern. entertainment was higher quality, food tasted better and snacks were available throughout the flight. boarding was also much more organized compared to last time which was like a angry mob scrambling to get on the plane.
