Cons: "When I missed the connection from the first leg of my flight and purchased the ticket from that leg to finish my itinerary, Lufthansa cancelled ALL of my return tickets. Both Lufthansa and my travel agency pointed the finger at the other and I had to purchase another $1000 ticket to get home. There was no cancellation emails or any notification. I didn’t know my tixkets were cancelled until I was trying to check in. Worst experience ever!!"

Good amount of water available throughout the flight, sometimes airlines are way too limited on amount of water they make available. Appreciated the wine and aperitif as well. Excellent flight! Would try to fly Lufthansa again!"

Cons: "First flight mechanical issue so couldn't make it to any of my connecting flights and they had to reroute me, however they couldn't get me to Torino so they got me to Milan and I had to take a two hour bus and then the metro to get where I needed to be. And it took them over an hour to reroute my flight!"

Staff had some trouble adjusting to individual request (e.g. one passenger changed her mind on the meal choice and confused the staff member who tried to force the food choice on this older lady). Obviously, dealing with elderly is not the same as dealing with young - this may require some additional training of staff members.On another occasion, two passengers exchanged seats - and it took some time for staff to sort this out at the meal time. A "Muslim meal" was offered to a christian passenger. - The interchange was hilarious."

Cons: "The seats are the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in. The food from Frankfurt to Denver was subpar. The first 2 hours were very bumpy and unusual for that part of an Europe to USA crossing. The spacing of the middle seats with the support struts having to straddle for 13 hours is too much. I could go on, but you really need to rethink the design and customer service on your long haul flights."

Due to the fullness of the plane it was imposable for me to move and very uncomfortable. For an individual this size there should be a requirement for them to have a business class seat or to purchase 2 seats. The food was very disappointing overall."

Pros: "Considering this was a 10 hour flight, I thought the plane was comfortable with decent leg room in economy class. We were served two hot meals, both of which were very good. There was also complimentary wine, beer, and spirits on board. It's been a while since I've flown overseas and was impressed with the wide array of available movies and in-flight entertainment. The crew was great and very attentive."
Cons: "It was the most chaotic boarding process I have ever seen. They had us at a gate with seats for about 50 people so people were crowded into the walkway area of the terminal. The announcements were very hard to hear if you weren't right by the person making them. There was no orderly boarding. Instead, there was a mad rush for those that weren't elite status of some sort to begin boarding."

On the actual plane, it was simply a normal row, with no extra space in front of it. Going to register complaint with Lufthansa and seek refund of seat cost."

Pros: "airlines could have mentioned that the second leg would require going thru security again and would take a very long time and that I should do this immediately after disembarking even though a gate had not yet been assigned. As A consequence of an intensive interview process before boarding the international leg of the trip (initially only two reps processing everyone on the plane for a few minutes each) the plane left the gate late. It also lost another 15 -20 minutes in flight making it 30 minutes late and I missed my connection in Miami necessitating me to spend a night in a motel and finish my flight the next day."

Just as I was entering the toilet a flight attendant yelled at me saying: "you can’t use this toilet. It’s for privileged people. You have to go to the end of the aircraft and use that one!" Then 10 minuets later another caucasian man seated behind me went to use the toilet right in front me without any problem."

Our small luggage that we had to check never had any problems with any other airlines about being a carryon but since it was over 8 kg, it had to be checked. Flight was short but no entertainment screen to watch or listen to music. Will not be flying with airline ever again."

Cons: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Pros: "I had a flight from Madrid --> Lisbon airport with a final connection from Lisbon --> NYC JFK and we were delayed in Madrid therefore arriving at boarding time of our other flight in Lisbon. The crew was so professional and prepared that when we landed in Lisbon there was a bus that brought about 25 of us who were connecting with final destination to JFK to the closest door to go through passport control and board onto our flight to JFK that they held for a good 30-45 minutes until all of us made our connection. Very professional and organized. Much appreciated that I didn't miss my final connection! Love flying TAP and will continue to do so!"
