Unusual traffic jam in Jakarta caused me and friend to miss our flight. When booking next avail flight we were ticks regardless of why we were late, zero dollars would be allowed. Note flight was scheduled for 8 PM. We left our hotel at 1600hrs for a 20 mile ride to airport- should have been plenty of travel time!
Horrible, tv not working. I asked for no vegan and they forgot to bring my food. After I mentioned, they finally brought and was vegan! Plane very unconfortable and old. Totally different than the connection place that was way less time on air.
Entertainment system doesn't have a touch screen like other airlines. They give you ear but buds instead of head phones. Alright they gave us headphones for our young son you had to put the foam covers on yourself and they kept coming off. Not a very good selection of movies. Good is bland and not very good options.
Excellent budget airline! Yes, amenities are cut out, there is little leg room, and it's cheaper to pay for your luggage when purchasing your flight ticket, but this is the point of a budget airline this keeps your flight ticket prices low. Adding on seat choices was only a few dollars more and included a delicious meal. You can purchase food and drinks/water on board. Tip: fill up a water bottle or purchase water in airport gate area before boarding plane to save money. Crew is very friendly and helpful. Flight offered purchase of Singapore SIM card with so many GBs for a great price - $15SGD.
The customer service during our check in was terrible. We were shuffled around through different lines for Check in and baggage drop. We asked one lady at rhe counter if we needed to tag our carry ons and she said no. As we got to security, a rude lady walked us back to the counter to weigh each and every item we had, including our purses. Since we were over the limit, we were told to pay $60 for an additional check in and we couldnt pay the online price. We told the manager we checked in way before the 2 hours about the lady we asked regarding our bags. She even confirmed but insisted we still couldnt pay the online price. Each person we approached had a terrible attitude and wasnt willing to help. If we knew about the carry on bags, we wouldve purchased it online before the 2 hour cut off time.
