I explained that their employee at check-in told us we did not need to pay for a carry-on. They still forced me to pay AND tried to charge me the gate price of $60 which I refused to pay. If they were going to charge me for a carry-on, they should have made that clear at the ticket counter where I would have paid $45. They were incredibly rude about it and it seemed like a scam they had planned out to try and get $15 more out of passengers."

Before flight, thankfully everything was on our phones and it's a small airport so the TSA got us through so we could Chek in at the gate. 3+ hour delay for "maintenance issues" (found out it was a paperwork issue the plain was fine the whole time). We boarded, then after an hour we were let off the plain to go to the bar, which was closed but they reopened for us, but no food. We were starting to figure out if we needed to rent a car before the rental places closed. Finally got back on the plain, and got to Denver. Frontier send an apology letter with a 50 dollar credit, we spent more at the bar while we were waiting. Frontier is only good for last minute cheap flights then they nickel and dime you to death. Their customer service sucks, the last time I was on Southwest with a delayed flight, (only about an hour late and the plain was late coming into Denver) they gave us a 200 dollar voucher right then and there, apologized a ton, and gave anyone over 21 a free drink. I'll be sticking with southwest even if it cost a little more!"
Cons: "There were so many delays, the pilot would lie to us about when we were getting off the plane. Sat in our seats at the gate for over an hour, landing and departing. (Colorado was our through flight) we ended up getting to our destination to sleep around 2 am. Horrible experience"

Cons: "Well first our flight got delayed an hour and a half and then delayed another couple hours and then finally the flight was flat out cancelled till the next day which made us obviously miss our flight to portland that night and we had emergency prior engagements that we missed and a whole weekend we paid for that is now missed because we won't be getting to Portland until practically two days later assuming everything goes perfectly today. ( currently sitting in Sioux Falls airport)"
Pros: "I had a problem when I was printing my ticket. I called Frontier about the problem. They fixed the error, waived the extra fee and as long as she had me on the phone she walked me through the rest of my check in. When I got to the airport the staff at the Frontier counters were very friendly and courteous. The flight attendants were also upbeat and good with the passengers."
Pros: "About the only good thing I have to say about this flight was that the pilot was good about communicating what was going on as a result of bad weather in the area of our destination."
Cons: "Overall the Frontier staff was not helpful. They had no information and didn't really seem to care. The flight attendants were doing the bare minimum. And when asked a question they were not helpful and also didn't seem to care about the comfort of the passengers. Several of the overhead lamps on this plane were out. Even though we had to wait on the plane for over an hour before departing, no drinks were offered (unless you wanted to pay for them). I think there are things that can be done to make an experience more enjoyable even when things are not great. Like offering a free soft drink to passengers as they wait etc. Being cheerful can go a long way, and we weren't getting that from this Frontier crew."
Pros: "Nothing to like about this airline"
Cons: "Flight from LAX was 7 hours late departing. Missed connection in Denver. Airport was basically closed upon arrival. No Frontier staff available. Wouldn't help find solution on the phone. Finally routed through Cleveland to get to Raleigh 14 hours late. 23 hours for LA to Raleigh and not so much as an apology."
Pros: "I liked that I could have a red eye from Denver to Florida. The pilots were excellent I couldn't even tell when we are taking off and when we had landed because it was so Smooth. The plane was very clean. The flight crew was courteous and mindful of the fact that people were going to be very tired on this red eye."
Cons: "The woman who first checked me in almost sent my bag to Orlando which was not my final destination. The company tried to charge me $35 for a carry-on and $30 for the checked bag. This company knows that people have to bring luggage on flights and they sell themselves on having the cheapest flights when in reality they are making money off of the fact that people have to bring luggage on a flight. The tray tables were ridiculously small. This seats are spaced really close together so even if you wanted to rest your head on the ridiculously small tray table you couldn't because the seat in front of you is so incredibly close to you."

Cons: "-Little table to eat. -Seats and rows way too narrow -They charge for carry ons, snacks, and probably air. It was ridiculous how I was nickled and dimes. -The wait to drop the bags was excessive >25 minutes at IAD. This is sad being that I paid ahead of time."
Cons: "They wouldn't even provide a cup of ice water for waiting over 4 hours delay. Then another 45 minutes before pulling away from the gate."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours on the way out and the return was on time but the departure gate was changed and the terminal information AIRPORT-WIDE was not updated to include the sign at the gate. The lady did not announce the change and 3 of us missed our flight. The choice was to wait until Wednesday or purchase tickets from another airline. $1000 later we were on our way without an apology. I will never fly Frontier again. You get what you pay for."

Cons: "The most uncomfortable seating I've ever experienced. I'm not a big guy and I was squeezed in my seat. At check in I HAD to pay extra for a seat, prices ranged from $40 - $13. This was not just to upgrade but any seat, I thought I was purchasing a seat when I bought the ticket? Also if you have baggage you have to pay whether you check it or it carry-on. If I'm going to be charged to check my bag I will then have an expectation of receiving a service. Baggage on both the arrival & return took longer then on other carriers. After paying for all the hidden fees, this flight was only about $10 less than a carrier with better seating and up front pricing. I can not recommended Frontier."
Cons: "Flight leaving Sioux Falls was delayed, cutting into the time needed to make my connecting flight to Orange County (SNA). No reason given for delay, weather was good, all the west from Sioux Falls to Orange County."

You have to pay additional fees for a seat after booking. Uncomfortable seats and rows with a metal coaster for a tray table. No entertainment on 3+ hour flight. No complimentary amenities. No class. Will not be flying again."
Cons: "They were delayed due to a mechanical issue, making me nearly miss my connection. This airline has rediculous fees for their luggage, they charged me $290 for 4 BAGS all well under weight limit. My luggage missed its connection to Sioux Falls and they wouldn't send it until Christmas Eve, two days after I landed. And it didn't get there until Christmas Day evening, ruining my family's Christmas. I will never fly with them again."

Cons: "Was delayed when we landed for about 45 mins due to the fact that they couldn't get the jet bridge to the plane. We were delayed on our return trip due to plane being late. I guess that is what you can expect when you hire workers at minimum wage that don't speak English. I usually fly United and I remember why. I usually arrive on time or early when I fly United. The extra cost of the ticket is worth being on time."
