My mother in law suffered the same parálisis, so this hit home. My husband and I were also surprised to see all of the Manzanillo Airport crew waving good bye as the flight took off. Cons: "in Guadalajara, during boarding the cabin was inundated with mosquitoes (I mean not just a few, but many hundred at least). Passengers were simultaneously swatting mosquitoes from the first row to the last row. The mosquitoes then joined us for the duration of the flight; well many of them were swatted as evidenced by the bloody mosquito parts left on the walls and overhead bins. I don't blame the cabin crew for this event, especially since they had to endure it as well. However the attitude was that things like this are just part of flying these days, along with lousy food and shrinking leg room. I guess that's the truth of it though. Also not to be over-reactive but there is a public health component to this; Mexico had 805 cases of zika in 2017. And although in general we may be more at risk from a local mosquito that has fed on an already infected tourist, we should make an attempt to limit the introduction of any infectious vectors.."

Cons: "The first class accommodation isn't as good as advertised. The seat is supposed to completely recline allowing you to sleep. Unfortunately if you're 6 foot or taller there isn't enough room. Other airlines like Emirates gives you more room in their business class so it's disappointing to see United 1st class is so cramped. The screens for the onboard entertainment system in first class are lower quality then those used in coach."

Cons: "The VERY first American Airline lady I met at Madrid airport who was like the first greeter. I was looking at all the different posted signs to see where to go and she says “hola” and i say “hola” back. She asked me which class i was in i said whichever the normal one is. All while im inching my way towards where i seem to already to know where to go. The lady kind of snaps at me and says “stop excuse me im talking to you.” I wasnt really walking away from this lady, i was inching towards what seemed to be i needed to go(and in fact was where i needed to go). I am fully capable of listening and moving at the same time. I dont need to be scolded like 5 year old child because she thinks I wasn’t listening to her. I was listening and progressing towards the place i need to be at the same time and also using two different languages in my head in order to talk to her. So that is just what i would call mulitasking for a person and not grounds for someone to use a parenting tactic on another adult at 730am."

Cons: "The departure gate was changed four or five times, including after we had traipsed from one end of the concourse to the other, only to have the gate changed BACK to the one from which we came. This was at supper time; we wanted to eat in the terminal but were rousted from two different lines to change gates. We couldn't stop running back and forth long enough to eat! I got updated info more quickly from Kayak than from United, despite having signed up for email and text notifications and having the United app. Come on!! Eventually we were marched down to a narrow hallway, crowded with passengers from two other departing flights, held in formation by obviously harried gate agents and finally led outside to the ramp to board the plane. The worst boarding experience. Ever. Give me Southwest anytime."

He said I squeezed the sides 1 inch and that it just need to go in the tray by gravity. That is complete BS. As long as it fits under the seat and I am not putting my feet in others space thats is all that matters. Check in people at least one guy in Denver needs to be retrained."

BUT the flight did get canceled, the next flight was completely booked and the next flight out after that was at NIGHT. I arrived in Chicago in the morning. The gate agent told us all to head to United customer service. There I received RUDE, poor excuse of a "service" only to be told they don't give refunds at the counter as we were told by the gate agent. So do that on your own time. THEN I had to buy my bus ticket and spend 1.5-2hrs on top of already waiting 1.5hrs for the flight that got canceled. HORRIBLE. Will never fly United again. Did i mention upon my arrival home I found out American was WIDE open seat wise to chicago?? And no one checked for me!"

Cons: "In Houston, At the gate with my ticket in hand, I was told I was not on the flight and would have to be scheduled on the next flight. The boarding pass in my hand matched the flight and time with the seat I picked out online when I purchased the ticket. Then a bad storm went through and many flights were cancelled. (Not the fault of United of course). About 9 hours later with a new boarding pass, I went to the gate to board and was told once again that I was not on that flight even though I was holding a new boarding pass!! What is going on here!? How can this happen twice to the same person, let alone happen at all??!"

We were kindly and quickly rerouted from Milwaukee to Chicago and told to go to Milwaukee to pick up your luggage as soon as we arrive in Chicago. When we attempted to pick up our luggage there was no one from Frontier at the airport, no one. When I called Frontier they told me toy return the next day. We returned the next morning and again no one was there. After two hours of waiting airport operations had to open the door for me to get my luggage. At the very least, they could ask a neighboring airline permission to access Frontier's baggage storage."

Pros: "The seats on the plane were so thin and uncomfortable I believe they comprised only of metal and synthetic leather with zero cushioning. If the seats recline, good luck finding out how to recline them. I was on two Frontier planes January 15th and 19th 2017 and never discovered out the answer to the magic needed to recline. Yes, I could have asked however, the flight attendant was as ornery as an alley cat who was only there for a pay check not customer service. I was unprepared, had I brought my own plate I could have had plenty of snacks from off the floor and from between the seats. Bummer for me."

Before flight, thankfully everything was on our phones and it's a small airport so the TSA got us through so we could Chek in at the gate. 3+ hour delay for "maintenance issues" (found out it was a paperwork issue the plain was fine the whole time). We boarded, then after an hour we were let off the plain to go to the bar, which was closed but they reopened for us, but no food. We were starting to figure out if we needed to rent a car before the rental places closed. Finally got back on the plain, and got to Denver. Frontier send an apology letter with a 50 dollar credit, we spent more at the bar while we were waiting. Frontier is only good for last minute cheap flights then they nickel and dime you to death. Their customer service sucks, the last time I was on Southwest with a delayed flight, (only about an hour late and the plain was late coming into Denver) they gave us a 200 dollar voucher right then and there, apologized a ton, and gave anyone over 21 a free drink. I'll be sticking with southwest even if it cost a little more!"
