What could have made it better? How about more resources among the flight crews. That way when a crew has reached their legal limit on work hours, another crew can take over. Isn't that better than delaying flights for so long that we miss connecting flights?

I thought maybe it was because there wasn’t enough overhead space, but as we got on the plane the overhead bins were very large and extra space was left as they began to close up the bins for take off. It was extremely annoying and I felt I was given no choice."

Cons: "This flight was actually on an American 777. One of the older models. For an almost 9+ hour flight, the in-seat entertainment systems need to be upgraded. The seats did not have USB charging capabilities, the selection of movies at the seat consisted of about 8 choices, and the screen size wasn't much larger than that of an iPhone 6 Plus. This was supposed to be a British Airlines flight, but it really was an American flight. I expected to be on a BA aircraft, which would have probably been upgraded."

Flight to dallas, waited 2 hours on the plane because the plane in front of us on the runnway wasn't clear for take off, we were and they couldn't taxi them out of the way?! Missed my connection and a day of work had to pay for a hotel. I only have so much $. I'm not and AA CEO."
Pros: "I missed my previous flight, and even before that my day was going pretty bad. I was quickly routed to the desk to get a replacement ticket, and even though the flight was oversold, they had me wait around until the plane was ready to take off. A couple minutes after they shut the door of the boarding bridge, I was called and told to follow one of them. It turns out a couple of people were headed to the right city in the wrong country."

Not sure why we weren’t allowed a carryon. Plenty of room on the plane. Seemed like a pretty naked cash-grab and wasn’t appreciated.
Late departure by close to an hour. Uncomfortable seat with damaged armrest. So-called entertainment screen could not be turned off, so the screen flashed in everybody's face when they were trying to sleep. This is incredibly annoying. The attendants and the beverage service were good.

The flight was business-like no nonsense, yet friendly (the crew saying hello etc). It seems like the crew is very focused and diligent. I was impressed that the ground crew texted me that my luggage had arrived from a previous flight!

Also, I booked 8 months in advance and friends I met with on the trip got their airfare for half the price and booked only a few weeks before. They said I paid way to much, but since I do t fly much I guess I'm the sucker, cause I had no idea."

Cons: "When I landed in San Francisco, my ticket did not have a gate number on it. My layover was only 55 minutes long so I knew I needed to get straight to my gate. I looked at the screen of departures. The screen said Eugene was at gate 72. I rushed to gate 72 to find that on display screen for gate 72, it said boarding for passengers to Orange County. I then walked to information. The gentleman at information wrote down that my gate was gate 67. I hurried to gate 67 (with only 15 minutes until boarding for my flight began). At gate 67 I asked a United Airlines worker if I was at the correct gate. He said no, my gate was 72. I explained to him I was just there. He was very rude and said if I did not want to believe him, that's fine. I said no, I believe you, I just want to be certain I am going to the correct place as I should be boarding very soon. I started running back to gate 72. On my way I stopped at the United Airlines customer service desk and encountered yet another rude United Airlines associate named Irada. She told me I needed to wait my turn in line and could not help me, even though I needed to be boarding soon. I ran back to gate 72 and the board said Eugene. I asked a pilot who was sitting down on break about the reasoning behind the boards and he helped me. A pilot whose job is not at all in customer service was the one who helped while those with the job in customer service were rude. I was very exhausted and upset with the confusion and noone willing to help. I do not believe I will be flying with United anymore if associates who are supposed to be helpful are not."

Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight gate to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I ran 30 gates and the door just closed and missed my flight. I am 25 weeks preg so my running time is slower then normal. Then they rebooked me on a flight that had an additional connect and arrived 4 hours later then expected. By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and went home......"
