Cons: "Flying form LA Had to wait an hour in the air pane for a gate to be assigned in Seoul. It was due to weather issues but crew was not very informative. Connecting flight was delayed by four hours and crew was not sure Did not inform when the flight will leave. Passengers from another delayed flight gathered around our gate and blocked us from entering boarding our plane. They were demanding that our flight should be canceled and didn’t let us board. Security was present they were taking notes but never intervened. This is the first time I have experience this type of chaos on an airport but from the signs posted, it appears that it may be normal situation and this airport. Didn’t expect I will have to push through a mob to board the air plane."

They acted very professional while the person appeared to be in and out of consciousness. The person eventually became better, but it is always good to see a well prepared crew deal with an issue. Also I am happy they had the bim bim bop on this flight. I didn't have it on the flight I had from Riyadh to Seoul that I took to get out there."

Pros: "I am giving my flight from Seoul to Bangkok 5 stars because the crew were just lovely. They were kind, attentive and ( shock) seemed to want to be on the flight. Too often nowadays it seems as if we( the paying customer) are nothing but a huge annoyance to the flight crew for daring to sk for a blanket, need a drink or to have to use the facilities. We had a screaming child in the row ahead most of the flight and one of the flightees went so far as to walk the toddler in her arms around the plane to help smooth her. The food reminded me of airlines meals years ago with a served roll and butter, main course ( beef with potatoes and veggies) , a tofu and soy sauce side and ice cream for dessert- no plastic silver wear here, proper solid stainless. Lots of juice and water on offer all flight and beer, wine etc with meal. American carriers should take a leaf out of this airline's book!"

Cons: "Free in-flight entertainment required an app to play, need for which was not advertised at all. Flight on United earlier in the month included announcements to download their app before takeoff. Customer service ahead of flight was a mixed bag. One assistant was went out of her way to help quickly and then comped a fee after I waited ~30 mins and then explained why we'd need assistance at the gate that she could not provide. A previous assistant was not able to provide this explanation."

Cons: "Due to weather patterns, we sat on the runway for 3 hours waiting to take off. There was approx. 50+ planes ahead of us. I know this because I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot on his way home. About 2 hours in, there was 30 planes left to take off, and then us. They air traffic control people were only letting off one plane per minute which is what was holding us. THEN after the 3 hours on the runway, our crew timed out and the brought us back to gate saying we were not taking off. At the gate, they informed us the flight was not 'cancelled' but 'delayed' to the following morning. I/m not sure how a 16 hour difference is considered 'delayed', but I digress. All Delta reps had NO idea the time of the new flight the following morning and told us all to just 'keep checking the app'. Now, fortunately for me I live in Brooklyn and could just go home. But what about everyone who was at LGA as a layover? I heard from multiple passengers they had to spend the night in a hotel, that Delta did not pay for. We finally got notice the new flight was scheduled for 9:30AM, which they AGAIN delayed until 11:30AM. Many people did not get the second change, and were already at LGA for the 9:30AM flight. To say Delta's handling of this was poor is an understatement. We knew when we got on that plane the crew was going to time out. Again, I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot who told me to 'get comfy, we're gonna be here awhile' the minute I sat down. Delta should have given us a fresh crew, or had a backup one prepared. I understand the weather is out of there control, and I understand you can't have a tired crew piloting an airplane, but there are other ways to have us take off remotely on schedule."

Cons: "I showed up 2 hrs before the flight. Was told the flight from Toronto to Minn was delayed 30 minutes and go stand in line to speak to an agent. There were approx 20 in line yet only 2 gate agents at 4:30pm. One of the gate agents kept helping the Premium members and bypassing the standard line. The other agent was in a coma as his average person at counter was 10 min. Finally get to counter and they hand me a boarding pass going via Salt Lake in 30 minutes. But has a 3 hrs layover in SL. I then get to US Custom check for US residents re-entering and the line was a good 30 minute wait. You would think the Delta folks would have accounted for that line. I had to ask everyone in front of them if I could skip in front as the plane was now departing in 10 min. I had to then run on a bum knee and was the last to board. The agent at gate was saying we were calling your name but did they think I could have been stuck in customs? On that short of a window they should have walked me through Customs to make sure I got on a flight they wanted me to take versus my scheduled flight."

Cons: "1- 2 hour delay in Atlanta, 2- Missed my RJA international connection from JFK, 3- My luggage was not delivered to me by Delta in New York. 4- Had to spend one night in a NY hotel, and pay $185 for it, and I was told that Delta doesn't pay for the hotel because the delay was caused by New York Air Traffic Control. 5- After Delta re-booked me on Air France the next day, I made it to Amman, Jordan a day late without my luggage; which arrived another day late."

Cons: "Food was way below standard. Pork and noodles were the only thing left by the time They got to me and the taste was equal to Asian airlines economy meals. Maybe even lesser quality. Also food in the Delta Sky lounge was not up to the standards of ANA lounges. Also no passes were handed out upon exiting the plane for special lanes at immigration like the last time I flew. Fortunately there were no lines at immigration so it really didn't matter. It was a nice touch though to be along the same level as Thai Airways or any of the other Asian Business class airlines."

I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Cons: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Cons: "The flight was 2 hours delayed because there was a mechanical issue on the plane. We sat and waited on the plane for 1 hour while the Maintenance crew tried fixing the problem. After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay."

For the first time, in a long time, when getting off of the plane it was very organized and not everyone rushing and pushing to get off. Everyone followed suit and did row by row, and no one pushing or shoving which is always nice."

Cons: "Diverted through a second security screening after landing in Miami from Kingston. We had only been sent a check in notification by AA for the first flight, which we opened the QR code and used to get on that flight. The scan however meant we had to have boarding passes ready and the QR code did not work for the second flight and AA did not send a check-in email for the second flight for us to use. We had to run back through the airport and check in for the next flight. Almost missed our flight due to flawed system."

Cons: "For an obviously new aircraft the space between rows was horrendous. I am 5ft4in tall and when I sat down my knees touched the seat in front of me. When the passenger in front of me tilted his seat back I couldn’t even cross my legs! I like Qantas but I have learned to abhor American Airlines (which operated this flight), next time I will probably use Air New Zealand purely because of the seat situation."

Cons: "Left with plenty of time but: -Terrible traffic! More than 3 hrs -Had to wait 30 min for shuttle -At airport they said flight was via American, other terminal. My paper from Kayak says Air Alaska -Terminal for flight uses separate bldg so shuttles to terminal , more time needed."

Pros: "The plane was clean, leaving on time, with fewer passengers there was much room and the service was surprisingly friendly for an American Airlines flight."
Cons: "The crew had a light task with the fewer passengers on board and they made the best of it... not neglecting the passengers, but definitely looking out for themselves and that was a bit obvious by creating small cabins for them to stay in using the curtains near the door exits and encouraging people to move to empty rows to clear the back rows for them to sleep on. Not bad, but just a bit obvious."

When no one came with a chair or any assistance, I had to walk ! struggling! so as not to fall to the baggage claim area, claim my luggage without any help, and then to my get myself and my luggage outside to meet ground transportation."

She claimed it was too big. It was not. I have carried the bag on several flights with similar planes, the gate agent slowed it on the plane as many have, and I had no issue opening and closing other compartment as I tried a couple after maintenance retrieved my bag."

Many people had to check bags due to there not being ample room in the overhead compartments, however when I was walking to my seat I couldn't help but notice that many people had stored their purses, backpacks, and jackets in the overhead compartments. Many people in the front didn't have anything at their feet which could have saved at least some people the hassel of having to check their bags when they hadn't planned on checking any at all. When I offered this idea to the flight attendant to see if he couldnt possibly make an announcement or if he could ask if anyone could move their stuff he simple answered "Well you know what? No one cares." Although I can understand that must be very frustrating for him and the other flight attendants, I thought the situation could have been handled a little bit better, perhaps there should be a better plan for a situation like this to make sure the room in the overhead compartments is used in the most efficient way."
